Arrived at our hotel with the transfer Room was upgraded and had a lovely views ! Stunning place, very peaceful and quiet. Lovely atmosphere Food was delicious and massive portions you could share most meals on the menu. 2 pools the main and the rooftop pool, So close to everything walkable to beach as on the beach and to the shops and the restaurants . Bus was easy to use Taxis were reliable and good. The only issue we had was the last day building work next to us but the manager rectified it and sent a bottle for the inconvenience Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.
Beautifully situated hotel on the mountainside of Mylopotas Beach. While the rooms are a little aged, they are relatively clean, comfortable and have great views of the bay. Contrary to the rooms, the public areas have likely been renovated and are very clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant service are very good and the breakfast buffet is excellent. Staff are very friendly and attentive. You can take the pool towels down to the beach (2 minute walk) where you'll find a variety of bars and restaurants. They offer free shuttle service to the port too.
Room always cleaned upon our return. Staff really friendly. Breakfast buffet really good. Really recommend this property.
Absolutely stunning property and hotel. The 2 bedroom/2 bath with our own private pool was spectacular. The staff was very attentive and answered any questions. Breakfast delivered to our room daily. This property is 10/10!!! Highly recommend
Excellent location and amazing views Excellent breakfast
We stayed at Ios Palace for 4 days in September 2025 and had a truly memorable experience. From the moment I started communicating with the hotel via email before our arrival, I was impressed by how responsive and helpful the staff were. The location is fantastic—just a couple of minutes’ walk to the beach, which made everything very convenient. I was a bit concerned about the number of stairs at the property, but we were given Room #101 on the first floor, which was perfect and easy to access from the lobby. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent, and housekeeping came by daily to keep everything fresh and tidy. Since we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, the hotel kindly upgraded us. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, a fruit basket, and a lovely handwritten note—such a thoughtful gesture! Room 101 is large and ideal for a family. It has one queen-size bed and 2 large sofa beds in the separate living room, and a stunning large balcony complete with a table, chairs, loungers, and a magnificent sea view. We spent a lot of time just relaxing and soaking in the scenery. The room didn't have a kettle, which would have been nice for making a cup of tea in the morning. Oddly, there were no tissues in the room either. An extra dresser would also be helpful, as drawer space was limited. There was a lack of coat-hangers as well. The pool area is beautiful, a great spot to unwind. We arrived by ferry, and the hotel arranged for their driver to pick us up, which was very convenient. The bus to Chora town is a short walk from this hotel. Breakfast was included and felt quite fancy, with a wide selection. However, my only small complaint would be that there isn't a self-serve coffee and tea station—you have to ask the wait staff for hot drinks. One helpful tip: Ask the front desk to make restaurant reservations for you in advance. The popular spots in Ios get quite busy in September, and many don’t answer their phones or accept same-day reservation changes. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Ios Palace—especially for a special occasion.
Ios palace was amazing with incredible staff and the location unreal with beautiful views and a great beach. I would definitely return in a beat!
………….
If going to Greece, the island of Ios should be your last stop. It is very relaxing and a great way to unwind from all of the sightseeing. Staying at the Ios Palace was fantastic! The hotel is waterfront and provides great views of the beach and swimming pools. Staff was very friendly and spoke English well. Knowing this was our last stop, we splurged at this hotel and got a room with a fantastic view with balcony. It was well worth it! The room was large, clean and has a good size balcony for evening wine overlooking the ocean. Our room was high up near the upper pool. The upper pool was much more quiet than the main pool which made for a much more relaxing atmosphere. Restaurants are all within walking distance and there were plenty to choose from. Staff was responsive when there was an issue with the AC. They came up right away and fixed the problem. The hotel can also arrange transportation to and from the ferry port. The transport was waiting at the dock with our name on a sign which made him easy to find. If returning to Ios, we would definitely stay here again.
We only stayed one night at Ios Palace, but it was truly an unforgettable experience for me, my wife, and our son. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived – the hotel is spotless, beautifully designed, and located right next to the beach. The food was fresh, delicious, and served with care. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is relaxed and welcoming. We stayed in one of the luxury villas, and it felt like a little piece of paradise. If you’re considering booking, we absolutely recommend paying a little more to enjoy this heavenly experience – it’s more than worth it! And finally, the staff… just amazing. Everyone was so warm, friendly, and always smiling. They made us feel special, even though we were only there for a short stay. Thank you, Ios Palace, for such a memorable visit!
I can only give this hotel three stars, which is a real shame as the location is absolutely perfect. Unfortunately, our classic room was very tired, grubby-looking, and in need of some TLC. On arrival, we were given minimal information — just where breakfast, the pool, and the bar were — and it felt like we were being rushed to our room, perhaps because we arrived late after the ferry. During our three-night stay, no one from the staff checked in to ask how our stay was going or if we needed anything. The lack of customer service was very noticeable. The WiFi was also unreliable to the point of being unusable. I didn’t raise these issues while there, as no one asked us and it didn’t feel like the opportunity was given. Sadly, I won’t be returning, and I will also be sharing this feedback with Trailfinders in the UK, who recommended this property.
We had a fabulous time at the iOS Palace. I only wish it was longer. Our room was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast was always a delight and all the staff we encountered could not be more happy and helpful. They really went extra to make our stay a joyful one. I said to my girlfriends - if I disappear one day..... this is where I'll be - come find me!
This place was absolutely amazing! You couldn’t ask for a more convenient location—right at Mylopotas Beach, surrounded by charming boutiques, cozy cafés, and minimarts, with organized beaches just steps away. The hotel staff went above and beyond—always friendly, helpful, and eager to please. Each room is uniquely designed, giving the hotel its own special character. One of the highlights is the fabulous pool that overlooks the sparkling water—it’s the perfect spot to relax. Breakfast is included, and the food is outstanding. The pricing is very reasonable, and you truly get incredible value for your money. This gem in Ios is one I’d highly recommend!
iOS palace hotel was so welcoming , perfect location and amazing staff that after we left and went to our next island we missed it so much we went right back 3 days later !! I am not a big review writer but iOS palace deserves a great review !! Everyone !! And I mean everyone on the staff was fantastic ! Sandy , maria, dimetrus !!! All deserve honorable mention ! Perfect location , service, accommodation and a magical place to stay !! I will be returning and recommending ! I am a Ritz Carlton , four season travler and this small unique boutique hotel has met above and beyond my expectations !!! Don't think just book !!!!
We all had a wonderful time at IOS Palace. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. There was nothing that the staff wasn’t eager to help us with. An Amazing place to stay!
The view and the stuff was amazing
Our Family booked into this hotel. Situated a stone throw from the beach Very pleasant mixture like between a hotel, motel and air b and b ! based on vibe and facilities offered. There is no real lounge and only an outside bar . Rooms apartment style and bit slack in cleaning times . Staff also said they short staffed !We had to call reception a few time to get more toilet paper ! Rooms comfortable and breakfasts nice on the terrace . Had lunch one day huge portions but quality only ok . Lovely pool area and outside bar . Reception staff super friendly and helpful.
It is really on the beach, so walk down from pool to beach is very convenient. The pool is beautiful with good chill music all day..... the breakfast is included and very good. The hotel is clean and rooms are relatively small. Each room with terraces that are very nice to the bay of the beach. The Staffs are very professional. the bad smell from the pool area caused by sewage is happening sometimes.....the rooms are quite small and the floors looks a bit old. Over all the place is very nice.
Everything was great except for the bad odours that came around the pool and in our room the first two days
Check in had the wrong room. No follow up next day
We had a fantastic stay with my family at IOS Palace. The view is stunning over the bay and the whole experience has been great. Staff is professional but still makes you feel comfortable, the rooms are super clean and housekeeping is always able to make the stay extra comfortable. Food is good and with a great variety, lunch, dinner or just a snack. The breakfast is well organised with a wide selection of ingredients and choices. It's has been a great vacation.
Awesome staff, beautiful place, tasteful food!
Overall 4/5. A really beautifully located hotel. Staff were superb in every way. We did have a couple of issues, but it did not spoil our stay. We stayed for 4 nights in early June. Arrival 3/5. Things didn’t start well. I emailed the hotel twice from a link on their own website, firstly to ask about room availability and secondly about a transfer from the Port. They did not respond to either emails. I know it was the correct email address, as I used the link from their own website. I eventually booked via Agoda. Check in was swift, friendly and efficient and they kindly offered us a lovely and refreshing welcome drink. They allowed us to check in early and showed us to our room. Room 5/5. We booked a Junior Suite with sea view. A very large 2 tier room. The upper tier was the bedroom and bathroom and the lower tier was the lounge and wardrobe area. 2 balconies overlooking the beach and the sea - lovely. We sat out every evening after dinner in the mild June weather. Bedside shelf either side with bedside lamps. Plenty of power sockets everywhere. 2 televisions and 2 aircon units. Digital safe. Large fridge with 2 small bottles of water replenished each day. Capsule coffee machine. They kindly brought us a kettle for our tea. Plenty of wardrobe and storage space. Unfortunately, on 2 consecutive days we had to call reception after our room had been cleaned, as they had not brought us any cups, glasses or water and had not replenished the shower gel or shampoo. Not great, but the fab view from the balcony made up for any issues. Bathroom 4/5. Nice shower. Hairdryer. It did though feel a little tired. Location 5/5. Stunning. Set on a hillside overlooking Mylopotas Beach. Breakfast 5/5. Lots of hot and cold choices. Fruits, sliced meats, cheeses, lovely breads and sweet and savory pastries. Everything was well presented. Very attentive staff. Pool 1/5. A wonderful location with a panoramic view of Mylopatos Beach below. Plenty of very comfy loungers and, as always at this hotel, plenty of helpful and polite staff. Unfortunately the pool water was really terrible. It’s a salt water pool, which is fine, but the pool chemistry was definitely wrong. I was unable to swim in the water without goggles and even with goggles it still hurt my eyes. I spoke to a number of people who also found it awful. I spoke to a manager about it, who said they would look into it. The pool water was the worst I have ever experienced. I hope they sort it out before the peak season when children will be using it, when it could be dangerous. Overall 4/5. An absolutely stunning location and I never tired of looking across the bay. Lots of great restaurants nearby and a few shops and mini markets too. It’s only a 50 meter walk to get the bus into Chora town and the lovely harbor. This could be a top 5 star hotel, but the attention to detail is lacking and the pool water is shocking. The staff are superb in every way but perhaps the management need to up their game. Despite the awful pool water, we really enjoyed our stay here and could have stayed longer.
An amazing hotel, we stayed for 3 night and I will return. We where up graded and the room plus the view where lovely. Breakfast had lots of choice and the staff were very friendly.
Everything about this hotel was perfection! From being picked up at the port to the welcome drink on arrival! The staff here were friendly, helpful and aimed to make your stay amazing! Breakfasts were included and a perfect way to start your day and a fantastic selection of delicious prepared choices. We didn’t get to use the spa on property as our stay was short. There were two choices of pools, a bar and a beach with water sports right below hotel. We booked stand up paddling one afternoon It was walking distance to more restaurants and a short taxi to town! Loved our stay here! Would love to return and stay longer!
Very nice hotel, location is fantastic, onsite parking is a little hard to get to. Staff, management and service was amazing, breakfast was included and the choice and quality was very good. Rooms need a little updating other wise everything else was super!
Stunning views. Lovely staff.
Beautiful hotel next to the beach. Lots of lovely restaurants close by and the main town only a 10 minute bus trip from outside the hotel. We had a problem with a bad smell of drains in our room on arrival, however this was fixed straight away by the hotel by replacing the drain filter. We had a bottle of champagne provided as an apology which was lovely. I see someone else had a similar issue with the drains, but clearly didn’t ask the hotel to fix the problem. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the food and cleanliness was excellent. I would definitely return again.
The views from my room were absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, I had an accident, twisted my ankle, on the first day of my stay. The staff was very empathetic and helpful in making sure I was still able to enjoy my time st the hotel.
Wonderful staff. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. Helped with suggestions for restaurants and places to visit.
We loved this hotel, however the rooms and definitely the bathrooms need an update and thorough cleaning. While the fitness room is adequate it is so hot it makes working out difficult. I asked the front desk manager to find a fan and she never followed through with me. It was tiny and probably 95 degrees. The air unit is facing a wall not the fitness cardio machines. If you are looking for a beach front quiet resort with a very kind staff choose this. Many many good restaurants within a few minutes walking.
Excellent hotel
Where do I start. The hotel its self is very nice. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The room is well appointed and modern considering its Greece. We travel to Greece every year and split our month long vacation between the main land and the islands. We landed via the port and drove to the hotel. I am not one to complain and understand that this is Greece not Manhattan. I only book hotels with parking on the property to make it convenient for us. We used GPS to find the hotel and were taken down a very narrow steep poorly maintained road with steep inclines and sharp curves. Thinking the gps made a mistake we called the hotel and were advised we were at one of the parking sites. I have no issue driving in greece as I have been doing it for years. This road was unsigned and I considered it dangerous by my standards. We were unable to locate the parking lot and called the hotel. We were given the name of a restaurant by the staff to enter on our gps to locate the parking lot. We were told at that time we could park at the current location but when we asked the distance from our location the hotel was we were told it was not far but when the location of an alternate parking lot that we were given it turned out the distance was over 1.5 kms away. When we researched this hotel we were assured that parking was close to the hotel. I and never stayed at a location advertising the parking on site over a Km away. Unacceptable and we felt as we were victims of a fraud. We again began our downward decent on a very poorly maintained road that caused our vehicle to bottom out several times. Once we drove to the land mark restaurant provided by the staff we had to call again and request directions as there were no signs for directions to a parking lot. We had to be guided by staff to locate a parking lot that was near but not close to the hotel that was very steep and small. We were with another couple in a second vehicle and only found one parking spot. The parking in the area is very limited. Luckily we waited and a parked vehicle eventually left and our friends got a parking spot. The hotel is a larger hotel with very limited parking. When we questioned the staff about the parking we were advised that we could park off the hotel site at public parking lot 300 meters away. I asked why we needed to do this when the hotel advertised parking on site. Ridiculous! If you are handicapped or have health issues preventing you from walking or doing many stairs this is not the hotel for you. This is the first time we experienced this and felt defrauded as per the hotel description on booking. Having ranted about something as silly as parking. The grounds are nice and the rooms are clean. Having a knee issue at the time of our arrival and the parking situation caused me great agitation and anger feeling we were mislead. If you are young healthy and don’t need parking I would rate this hotel 5 out of 5. Having said this as a middle aged man with a walking issue driving a car to the location stay away.
> Since 2022, 3rd stay of 20 nights in this hotel in the mountains and by the sea. Beautiful view of the bay of mylopotas, appreciated by all age groups. Welcome and competent staff, helpful and pleasant. Rooms all sea view. Ios palace has a «boutique hotel» side with its alleys in pure Greek style. 2 beautiful swimming pools uncrowded. Very nice beach and not noisy. Sea of exceptional clarity. Hearty breakfasts and impeccable service. Clean and air-conditioned room. Nights windows open on very quiet bay. Special mention has all the staff, Yota, Sandy and Marilena and especially to Dimitrios the director «booking manager» available and efficient. Chora city accessible by bus or taxi is 8 minutes. Many restaurants and clubs popular with the younger. Mylopotas bay has restaurants including the famous Drakos famous for its grilled fish.
This is a really lovely hotel. Great location near the beach and great restaurants. The main pool is lovely, very clean with very comfortable sun beds. The breakfast is truly lovely with lots of choices to suit everyone’s needs. We didn’t eat or drink much at the hotel other than breakfast as there are so many good restaurants on the doorstep which were excellent and more competitively priced. The staff are professional, helpful and friendly. We had a classic room with a sea view which we felt was adequate and a little tired and dated, but that maybe was more to our taste than any fault of the hotel. It would have been nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room. However, overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
I think the property is super overrated, you pay just for the view, room very old and ALL the hotel has a terrible problem with a reflux of sewage on drains, yes you room will be smelling sewage doesn’t matter what room you stayed, i request twice to change rooms so i just gave up, also you need take two elevators and walk stairs to get in your room, they have a salt water pool and a very nice view, also the sauna is supposed to be free but they try charge you €20 just say you wont pay. In a overall i would give a 6,5 rate, but definitely not Worth the $1700 for 5 nights ( also they charges €7 per night as a “government fee” what is insane.
The whole resort was beautiful, easy access to the beach, two pools, spa next to our room, hotel staff were allllll professional and amazing, hotel restaurant needs a bit more work with their food variety, but nevertheless, good. We had a fantastic three nights and the balcony was perfect!!!!! We would recommend a coffee machine and iron in the rooms through.
Beautiful views
Right on the door of Mylopotas beach!
Paid hotel driver 35 mins late for pick-up in stifling heat. Unforgivable. No lights, no traffic and no excuse or apology. All others in our group were picked up and taken to their cheaper hotels. Ours eventually arrived with no sign or name amongst 300 people boarding the ferry we arrived on. " really"
We stayed at Ios Palace at the beginning of July with our 2 year old, and we are already planning to visit again! The hotel is beautiful, such a fantastic location and it had all of the amenities we needed plus more. But what really makes this place is the staff. They were both professional and personable, and it was a pleasure seeing them around the hotel every day. Anything we needed they sorted with ease, nothing was too much trouble and we really felt looked after. Our room was clean and spacious. The food for breakfast was lovely, really good selection and fresh. We paid for half board at the hotel, and had dinner there each night which was also really good. We loved it here, can’t wait to visit again!!
The staff was amazing!!
I cannot fault Ios palace. We had a relaxing stay, right on the waterfront at Mylopatos. There are two lovely pools, a spa, and the staff are really helpful. A bus to the main town takes 5 mins and runs from across the hotel every 15 mins. Would definitely stay again.
What a disappointment. The hotel and room smelt of drains. Housekeeping was non existent. The dining room was featureless and breakfast below average. The hotel location is on a busy and noisy beach road. It deserved 2 stars, not 4. Ios is a party island for under 30s, not aimed at mature couples.
Billy (can’t spell her name beginning with “V”, funky 70s glasses), Effie, Chris & especially Costas are just the most lovely, welcoming & fun staff. It really makes a place!!! Joy who gave the massage was just brilliant. Brekkie was tasty & plentiful. Beds were comfortable & the view from every where in the hotel was just a feast for the eyes. The upstairs pool was just great as it wasn’t well used. Didn’t smell any sewage or experience mosquitos. The cats were my friends in the end. I cannot fault this place, I felt happy & at home here. We walked to Chora, not far. There are buses which are very regular. Be careful on the beach when there are boats coming as the waves can drag you under. I love this place, would highly recommend.
This is the only place I will stay when in Ios.
This is the only place I will be staying at I’m Ios moving forward. The service is spectacular. The rooms were spacious With a million dollar view. The breakfast and food was delicious. It’s in the perfect location. I will be come back.
Ios Palace was outstanding and the location was amazing to the beach! All staff went above and beyond.
One of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed at. We are planning to come back next year for our honeymoon. The pool villa is worth every single penny. The most stunning views of our entire 2 week trip in Greece. The staff was WONDERFUL! So accommodating and friendly I would highly suggest this place to anyone looking for 5/5 service. Best place to stay in IOS hands down.
Lovely hotel in an ideal spot. The service, food and drinks by the pool and in the restaurant are great. The accommodation is clean and in good condition - with gorgeous views of Mylopotas Beach. Ideally close to Mylopotas beach and the restaurants. It is well serviced by a bus into town, port and other beaches. A lovely place- we will be back
Upon arriving, we were helped with our bags and given a welcome refreshment, which was so lovely, especially after a long travel. We arrived before check-in time (two hours prior), and so we waited by the pool with our drinks, which was an amazing and breathtaking view. However, we had assumed that someone would come to get us when our rooms were ready, but no one did. Ten minutes before our check-in time, we decided to go and ask. The very nice receptionist said she would check. She looked at her computer and announced that it was in fact ready. We wished that someone would have gotten us as we waited quite a long time. But we assumed they must have been busy. The view from our room was beautiful, but the room itself was very basic. For the price that you are paying, we had expected something a little more, but the view and the pool were gorgeous. Again, at this hotel, you are mostly paying for location more than anything else. Our first night, we had no hot water as well. But once my husband spoke to the receptionist, they sent someone right away. The hot water was back twenty minutes later. That was nice, especially since it was approx. 11pm when this happened. Great service on that front! The breakfast was awesome too! So much to choose from! We were very happy with it! We would come back to this hotel in a heartbeat but would not pay the same we had paid this time around. If it was a little cheaper, a definite recommendation! But again, the location was perfect – right o
Great pools, awesome view. Enjoyed the balcony. Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast buffet
The most beautiful hotel in Ios. Staff is incredible, the views are breathtaking. The infinity pool overlooking the ocean is spectacular. Breakfast is delivered to the room pool side. 10/10 recommended.
The best hotel we have ever stayed! The two pools are lovely and the beach is literally on your doorstep. Staff were really nice and helpful. Food was great. The rooms could do with a bit more furniture (no chair or mirror so made it difficult to get ready)
Rooms to small and old Pool area limited chairs and umbrellas they have like 15 bed pools and 10 umbrellas Horrible drinks If you need to go to the beach extra fee to rent umbrellas and chairs and names to consume food from Restaurants Elevator to small .
We recently stayed here for our honeymoon & we LOVED it. From the hotel arranging our transportation from the port, to upgrading our room at check-in, to the amazing service they provided, we cant say enough good things about this hotel. In addition to all this, the hotel was stunning, our room had an incredible view, the pools were stunning & you had option of two pools. The breakfast buffets was amazing and had plenty of options. Overall, we LOVED our stay here and would highly recommend it.
We loved our stay and plan to go back. Our room was great but it was the staff that really made the experience—that and the incredible turquoise ocean just outside. When we said we loved fresh fish, staff made a reservation at Drakos, a walk along the beach, which was amazing. We went back the next night too, for the best fish soup we’ve had in Greece. If you have limited mobility, be sure to mention it in your reservation—our room was on the 7th level, up 2 elevators and multiple short flights of stairs. Our balcony was very private, overlooking the ocean, but it was a trek. Basically, we loved Ios and the hotel and plan to return with family.
Ios Palace had the friendliest, most accommodating staff. Even before our rooms were ready, they allowed us to relax at the pool and begin enjoying our time there. The free breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The only downside was that the regular rooms were a little small if you had 2 people staying in them
My stay at Ios Palace was absolutely amazing. While it is a beautiful, clean hotel in a convenient location, what stood out for me most was the staff. They were always extremely kind, accommodating and helpful, from before our stay and the entire time throughout. They were easily accessible at any hour and truly made our stay an incredible experience.
excellent location, great pool, lovely breakfest, gorgeous views, great poolside bar
Pristine with gorgeous views! The staff here could not have been more accommodating. I am a little on the older out of shape side of the fence and my room was up on top. The view from up there could not be beat but the climb a bit strenuous for me. They gladly moved me to a lower level as soon as they were able.
Beautiful and cats
Amazing views and the staff were very warm and welcoming. However, the shower leaked all over the floor as if by design and would make me think twice about staying here again.
Incredible property, rooms are spread through many tiers up a hillside adding privacy and spectacular views. Beautiful pool and bar area, included breakfast is excellent. Highly recommend
Our free mini shuttle bus driver met us at the ferry port. Check in was easy. Lovely refreshing welcome drink given while we waited a short time for our room to be ready. Our room overlooked the pool and the beautiful sea. Such an amazing view. The room was very clean but very minimalistic There is very little in the room. A TV which we didn’t use, Two very small built in tables and one plastic chair. The patio had a table and 2 cane chairs. We had a wonderful stay here and would definetly come back if we had the chance. You need to be aware of 2 things. The queen bed is up against a wall on one side so my husband had to crawl down to the end of the bed to get out. There are no side tables. If you use the over head shower, the water floods the floor, so we just used the hand held shower head to prevent that. The breakfasts were wonderful. Plenty to choose from and a delightful outdoor patio to sit and enjoy the morning. The staff are very professional, neat and tidy and respectful. The beach is right in front of the hotel. The water is clean and clear. We loved our 4 day stay here.
Great location and views
Liked location next to the beach. Felt wierd that no one was working during the night for such an expensive property.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. 2 clean wonderful swimming pools gym spa beautiful breakfast
By far one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed at throughout Greek islands and the world! Ios itself was even better than I expected, we chose to visit on a whim and ended up last minute staying an extra night and canceling our previous plans back to Mykonos because it was so lovely! All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all hours. Extremely amazed at everyone’s ability and commitment to wearing masks while working hard in the scorching heat. The location is perfectly located overlooking the beach, restaurants and nightlife. Transport from the ferry is provided. The main pool and rooftop pool were phenomenal and have an unrealistically beautiful view. The pool bartender, Vicky, was outstanding at preparing world class cocktails promptly and one of the most memorable souls of our trip, gave us great todo/restaurant advice and even lended a most heartfelt helping hand when I was having a rough night, extremely grateful to have met her! The hotel itself is the perfect mix of class, cleanliness, traditional Greek culture and cuisine, and the privacy you want. We especially enjoyed the multitude of staircases to explore throughout the hotel finding endless picture perfect views for those model worthy shots. Elevators are available on all floors. I was amazed by the entire facilities hospitality and patience. This was my third time in Greece and 9th island visited, but my friend and I plan on coming back to Ios Palace every year until we are no longer able!
If you are looking to vacation in paradise, the Ios Palace Hotel & Spa is where you want to be. The rooms are great with beautiful views of the sea. They have multiple saltwater pools that are refreshing. The staff is amazing, friendly and there for your needs. The best location on the island. We have been to other places in Greece and this is our favorite.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Cyclades. Excellent service and welcoming, warm staff. Unbeatable location overlooking Mylopotas Beach makes it easy to move from the pools to the beach effortlessly. I had a great stay at Ios Palace
We LOVED our stay at Ios Palace. The staff was so wonderful, the location is ideal for a beach vacation and the rooms were spacious, well updated and clean. The breakfast is like no other hotel breakfast I've had, it was amazing. We actually looked forward to breakfast every morning because of how wonderful it was. The staff went above and beyond to help with transportation, things to do, etc. It was a fantastic experience and we would go back in a heartbeat!
Staff were friendly and the hotel was great. Pool was exactly like the photos. Breakfast was excellent.
We enjoyed the pools and the beautiful view, however our room smelled terrible and the shutters of the hotels made a lot of noise at night during the wind making it very difficult to sleep. The bed was not comfortable. The buffet breakfast is okay.
Great hotel with wonderful views. Two beautiful pools and a great pool bar with amazing cocktails! The breakfast was varied and delicious. Only drawback would be a slightly outdated bathroom and lifts (but we ended up using the stairs so it was fine). Would still highly recommend
Great view of sea, nice hotel bit you can see some parts of toilet/shower room had some update and aged interiors and amenities. Staff could be more efficient and expected much higher customer service than what I received.
Wonderful
It was great! Everything was super professional. The staff was beyond great. I will be recommending this hot spot to all my friends and family!
Great location, beautiful views, pleasant/helpful staff.
When we arrived, the hotel was completely full; however, there was very few people that used the main pool. It was like we had our own pool for days we were there. It was clean, staff friendly, room was fantastic and had a great view of Mylopotas beach from up high. The restaurant at the hotel was ok, but nothing spectacular for the price. The little italian run restaurant further down was tastier.
The overall package is the best in Ios.the The location is 10/10, and the staff. Is to be commended for their welcoming demeanour. The poolside bar, managed by Dinos serves an excellent range of unique cocktails in addition to all non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.
Wonderful location
Perfect location to best beach in Ios. Hotel has two awesome pools also. Staff is wonderful. Breakfast included is amazing. Well worth the money. Only negative is horrible WiFi in the room. If you need to stay connected, I would be concerned (hotel has two nice computers in lobby jic).
The hotel is absolutely beautiful!! It is built in the mountain. The views are spectacular overlooking the ocean. The beach is perfect,. The hotel is clean and all the staff is excellent and very helpful. I would definitely go back again..
Everything about the hotel was exceptional. The staff was unbelievably friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very nice and the bed beyond comfortable. The breakfast buffet was of the highest quality and selection. The view is incredible. A truly great place to stay in Ios.
Very nice and clean hotel right on the beach. The staff was fantastic and the breakfast was great.
The location is amazing, 10 meters away from the sea and the view from the hotel is unique. The staff is very polite and ready to help!
Beautiful views of Mylopotas beach...staff very welcoming and friendly...easy nus ride into town
Nice location and friendly staff, wonderful views of the beach
Awesome staff and perfect view.
Really great place to stay. Staff is mostly friendly and facilities are excellent. Only issue is getting ice. Seems to be a Greece issue altogether though. If you stay here or nearby, go to Costas and rent an atv for a day or two. It is an absolute must and super affordable. Few blocks away on the beach.
The hotel was really close to the ferry, and also close to several markets. We were able to buy groceries and any toiletries we needed at the market across the street. Cab rides into town were only 6 euros and all fancy dinners were under 40 euros per person. Overall I was really pleased with how far out money went there. We rode atvs for a full day for 20 euros, not to mention how beautiful the views were as well as the hotel and rooms. Negatives of this hotel were that the hotel rooms were on several different floors, we had to take to elevators and stairs to get to our room. Also the breakfast wasn’t as nice of a spread as we expected.
Wow Wow Wow! A surprise upgrade to the family suite, which was more like a private villa was absolutely delectable! Great vibe, beautiful people, greek island life at its pure best! #loveyouios
Great location on the beach. Great pools. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Bed is comfy and breakfast is great.
Service was good, nice at the dinner. The bathrooms did not smell very good, smell from the pips. The location was good and nice fitness possibility.
Property was in front of the beach which was great. The rooms were very plain but lots of room. If the hotel had been recently renovated it would be a 5 star. Staff was great, but the rooms needed updating. Pools were great and the views were amazing.
This hotel is amazing! The view is awesome. The rooms are clean. The Staff is friendly. The pool is beautiful. Close to the beach. This was the perfect hotel and if you stay anywhere else in Ios, you are missing out. Ios Palace For The Win!!!
Nice location by the beach and the balcony was a huge plus. Staff were all very professional. Breakfast was exceptional.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and were always willing to go out of their way to make our stay a better experience. The first room they were going to put us in smelt very strongly of cigarettes and then they upgraded us to a nicer and bigger room. The new room still had a scent but was bareable. The breakfast was tasty and pools were clean.
Nice hotel with amazing views.
