Mooie, ruime en vooral schone kamers. De mensen bij de receptie zijn ontzettend lief en behulpzaam. ❤️ De locatie is ook ideaal: dichtbij de gezellige winkelstraatjes van Pingjiang Street. Je loopt vanuit het hotel gewoon rechtdoor en onderweg kom je allerlei leuke kraampjes en winkels/restaurants tegen. Wat ik ook erg fijn vond, is dat je je kleding kunt wassen en daarna gewoon kunt ophangen op hun terras. Superhandig als je aan het rondreizen bent! Oh, en ook belangrijk: je Nederlandse laders/styltang kun je hier gewoon gebruiken! 😄🔌 Zeker een aanrader als je in deze omgeving verblijft!

Hôtel très bien situé, proche de la rue pingjiang, au bord de la rivière, très calme. Chambre simple et de petite taille avec vue sur la rivière mais on ne voit pas grand chose. Il est dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de service de petit déjeuner (mais nous le savions à l'avance).

Très bon accueil de la part du réceptionniste. Chambre agréable et propre.

The location was alright, it is close to the popular food street as well as the water.

DO NOT STAY HERE! We wanted to stay here for 3 nights, but ended up staying 1 night because of how bad the mold in the room was. Mold was in the AC, on the walls, and in the bathroom, unhygienic, and as soon as you enter the room it has the typical moldy smell, which they are trying to cover up with scented aroma sticks. It was so bad that we didn't dare turn on the AC because it was all black inside and the smell was unbearable. So we slept with the window open despite the hot, humid weather. The next morning, we were feeling really under the weather, coughing. On day three,the coughing has not gone away even after we changed locations and moved to a hotel. Honestly, it shouldn't be allowed to be able to book a room as it is a health hazard. The bedroom: The bedsheets were smelly. I don't think they have been washed upon our arrival. The bathroom: The shower was so disgusting, you wouldn't want to step inside, and makes you think twice if you really need that shower. When we wanted to get a refund for the other 2 nights we only got a refund for 1 night. The guy was not understanding or courteous at all considering how bad the situation with the mold was. He tried to make us stay another night, but we firmly denied and just accepted that we would only be getting the refund for the one night. If you value your health and want great value for your money, do not stay here. I advise everyone not to book a room here. And don't believe the many excellent reviews across platforms like Amap. We believe they are bots or not exactly truthful. Around 20 reviews with 5 Star ratings are from the same person.

La ubicación ideal, cerquita de la calle Pingjiang y del Jardín del administrador humilde. Nuestra habitación muy amplia. Personal amable.

No tiene ascensor, tiene dos plantas. Para nosotros no supuso ningún problema, llevamos pequeño equipaje.

The location is super convenient - walking distance to the Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum. The Pingjiang lu is right in front of the hotel. The room itself was spacious. It has the tatami there which is cute and comfortable to sit.

It was a construction in front of the hotel and my room was facing the front so it was pretty dusty. The shower room had some smell as well.

A wonderful place to stay in an excellent location. We loved staying at this beautiful hotel. The location was perfect, and the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and very clean, which made our stay especially comfortable. The only thing missing was a refrigerator. As we were traveling with young children, it would have been helpful to have a fridge to store milk and other essentials. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay here again.

the staff were super friendly. they even provided a plat of pipa fruits when I returned late at night. the room was nicely renovated with pretty high tech and smart features like smart curtains, projector tv in the bedroom and plenty of extra comfy comforters.

so happen there were plumbing works on the pavement outside of the hotel along the river and they start work early at 7.30am. during the plumbing repair/maintenance, the pavement to the hotel is partially block and not friend for luggage.

Located within walking distance to Humble Administrator Garden and Ping Jiang Road. Very friendly, accommodating and helpful staff. Strong water pressure and comfortable hot water for shower.

Actual room and the pictures are different. Room is a bit worn out, peeling ceiling cladding. Need proper maintenance.

Friendly staff who spoke English and a great location in the old city made our two day visit to Suzhou very enjoyable.

Those who have mobility issues need to be aware that there is no elevator and that the elevated platform in one side of the bed could be a challenge.

Das Zimmer ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Public area des Hotels hätte ein bisschen einladender aussehen können.

Musste bar bezahlen weil Weixin Pay nicht funktionierte. Wurde für die Behördenanmeldung fotografiert trotz Reisepass. Quittung gab es trotz mehrmaliger Aufforderung nicht. Da war dann das Englisch des Peronals nicht ausreichend. Lichtsteuerung auch durch AI möglich. Verstand leider kein Baierisch.

Tout, l'accueil tout le personnel est super et arrageant. Ils m'ont aidé pour plein de chose. La chambre traditionnel et très confortable. Alors que dire de l'emplacement en plein coeur de la vielle ville a 100 mètre. Un cadre hors du temps. Je recommande à 100%

Lodge très confortable et au calme. Une très belle chambre avec vue sur le canal. Un emplacement exceptionnel pour visiter à pied les jardins, les musées et très proche de la rue piétonne très animée. A l'accueil très aidants pour la réservation des musées et surtout le jour du départ pour négocier avec le taxi notre transport à Shanghaï. Nous avons pu aussi donner notre linge à laver. Nous recommandons fortement cette pension de famille et les remercions de leur aide et leur accueil.

Not a problem for us but room was upstairs with no lift, and cars can't access the property, need to walk in from the main road, if this doesn't suit you book elsewhere!

La ubicación de este hotel es estupenda: está en una calle con arquitectura tradicional muy tranquila, pero muy cerca de una calle peatonal muy animada, Pingjiang Road, llena de restaurantes y tiendas, y de una zona de mercado con puestos de comida típica. Las instalaciones del hotel están nuevas, la habitación era como se ve en las fotografías, con aire acondicionado (muy necesario en los meses de verano). El personal del hotel nos atendió de forma muy profesional y amable, en especial Sabrina, que habla inglés y nos recibió a la llegada para darnos consejos para aprovechar nuestros días en la hermosa ciudad de Suzhou.

De ligging is prima, lekker druk en veel restaurants in de buurt. Metrostation is ongeveer 10-15 minuten lopen van het hotel.

The location couldn't be beaten and it was great to stay in a more traditional lodging than with a less personal five star hotel group. The staff were lovely and it felt like a much more authentic experience.

Nella struttura c’era un po’ di odore di fogna e in alcune parti poteva essere più pulita

La struttura è ricca di carisma, dislocata come è in una delle casette tipiche di Gusu, il centro storico di Suzhou. La camera, pur non essendo particolarmente rifinita, era funzionale e aveva quasi tutto: bel bagno con doccia grande e comoda, area condizionata efficiente, letto abbastanza confortevole, alcuni tocchi di classe come la chiusura e apertura delle tende automatica, e l'accensione dell'aria condizionata al rientro in stanza. Il vero valore aggiunto però è stata la gentilezza del nostro host: sempre disponibile e sorridente ci ha dato ottimi consigli per visite e pasti, ci ha fornito bottiglie di acqua fresca ogni volta che ne abbiamo avuto bisogno (nel tremendo caldo dell'agosto di Suzhou) e ci ha messo a disposizione la lavatrice se avessimo avuto necessità di fare il bucato. Insomma ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Non è stato il miglior hotel del nostro viaggio in Cina, ma quando c'è un gestore così capace tutta l'esperienza ne guadagna e il voto finale sale di conseguenza.

La stanza era un po' rumorosa, si sentiva abbastanza chiaramente quello che accadeva nelle camere adiacenti e in strada. Per fortuna è ubicata in una viuzza tranquilla e il chiasso non è mai stato eccessivo. Sarebbe carino se venisse aggiunto un piccolo frigobar per tenere in fresco le bevande acquistate.

Beliggenheten var helt perfekt, midt i det historiske område, og samtidig litt tilbaketrukket fra turiststrømmen. Personalet på hotellet ga god og nøyaktig informasjon om ankomst og hvordan man skulle finne stedet. Jeg mistet en verdigjenstand i bilen da vi reiste fra stedet, og personalet gjorde alt de kunne for å hjelpe til, så jeg fikk den tilbake. Utrolig hjelpsomme og hyggelige! Hit kommer vi gjerne tilbake!

The location is great as it is near the Pingjiang street where all the local happenings are situated. Next to the hotel lobby is a Hanfu shop where we also engaged in their service for a day of being ancient chinese people. The best part of this hotel is Xiao Mu, the hotel concierge/host. He has been more than hospitable, providing so many useful tips and was patient while helping us out as we are a group of 11 people. We also love the tatami beds on the 2nd floor!

Perhaps they can try to clean up the place a little bit better (windows). Other than that, it's all great for us.

Месторасположение идеально, 2 минуты до прудов и самого эпицентра. Постельное белье чистое. Очень дружелюбный персонал, рады помочь.

Отель конечно уставший, унитаз протекает - образовалась лужа, но персонал старается. Ванная маленькая. На ночь-две хорошо, больше уже будет тяжело.

It's right in a little lane in pingjiang lu. The staff were friendly and super helpful. They gave tips on where to eat or visit without us asking. When my hub was unwell, they gave us extra water too. We were given a fan as departure gift too.
