It was our daughter’s graduation. But unfortunately this hotel ruined the celebration.

We were a wake all night listening to foreign accents in the other room. At 4 o’clock in the morning we had to phone down to reception to let them know that the people in the next room were extremely loud. We had 5 room in our party 9 people and all of us said we will stay here again

Air conditioning not working properly. Room was boiling and breakfast room boiling. Staff didn’t care and just told us there was an issue with it. I have a disability and asked for a room near the lift and was given one quite far away and up steps. Check in took ages and I was struggling to stand and I have a stick and the receptionist didn’t seem to care.

There was bugs in the room. Also I was a victim of domestic abuse in my room after I told reception to not let his key card work and to give me a new one. They didn’t cancel his card so he was able to get into my room and abuse me. He was also able to jump the fence to try get into my room via the balcony door.

Well located to A2 and bexleyheath (if you want’a use bexleyheath of course, meeting people that talk English is rare!)

We booked this hotel while visiting friends and were looking forward to a relaxing nights sleep after getting up early for work all week. Unfortunately at 8am on Sunday we were abruptly woken by extremely loud drums and music The noise was so loud that we had to get out of bed and close the window but it could still be heard clearly inside our room. We complained at reception and were simply told it’s the church. If the hotel is aware that this regularly happens on Sunday mornings guests should be warned beforehand or allocated rooms where the noise is less disruptive. Head we known we would have booked somewhere else it completely ruined our stay and left feeling tired and disappointed.

Had dinner in the hotel this was good and value for money. Reception were really nice at check in as there was a problem finding my room but it got sorted with no issues.

House keeping didn't put any dog bowls in our room, but it wasn't an issue

The room was spacious with two decent large beds. The hotel staff was very friendly and they offered free bottled water as well as chilled tapwater from machine. There is next door a parking garage with sufficient parking spaces.

The little drawer for coffee and tea was moldy. After the first night, they replaced the towels but only gave us 2 for a room of 4 people. The coffee at breakfast tasted a like powder coffee (water + coffee powder), so not great. The price for breakfast was high compare to the variety and quality of the food. The hotel interior has seen better days.

The AC in the room didn't really work, and the rest of the hotel was like a sauna. Had to pay £180 to have my dog in my room, where £150 would be returned.. big outlay ontop of the booking

The down side is the reception area (ground floor) had a foul smell (could be the drains) air freshener was use to mask the smell which didn’t help. Personally, I think it made it worse. Banqueting hall had no air conditioning nor electric fans, therefore party venue was too warm and uncomfortable. Management need to look into this.

Our room was booked by a relative, which resulted in a bit of confusion at reception. We had difficulty finding the hotel, as it sems to have changed its name from Marriott, which is how the place appears on local maps, to Delta, a name I'd never heard of and which the Bexleyheath locals we asked didn't know either. 'Marriott' is a name known worldwide, so why rebrand it? Brands take decades to establish, so that seems a weird strategy. Reception was suffocatingly hot - I don't know how the staff can stand it. As we waited to check in, a couple complained about the lack of aircon in their room - a bad sign. The rattle from the vents near the ceiling in the room suggested that some sort of air circulation was meant to be in operation, but it was pretty much useless, and we got far more benefit from opening the window at night. Even so, it was too warm for comfort. Not what you expect from a 4* hotel run by a big international chain. And, as reviews here make clear, the lack of effective aircon has been a problem for MONTHS (since June at least). You really need to sort this out. That said, the hotel is finished and furnished to a high standard - tasteful and really spacious. We were impressed with the room - bed, bedside tables (neat to have lamp incorporating USB slot), desk, comfy chair, bathroom - all of good size and spotlessly clean. Also iron, ironing board, hair dryer and safe in the big wardrobe. But where were the tea & coffee making facilities? This was a big disappointment. Eventually, while opening things at random, I found them: hidden away on a pull-out tray in the cupboard unit under the vast TV, along with a couple of bottles of very warm water. How difficult would it be to put a little sign on the cupboard door to tell you about it? Perhaps it was secret that was revealed if you scanned the QR code on a cardboard sign on the desk. Useless for me as I have no smartphone. Like a proportion of the population, my fingers are non-electroconductive and don't operate touchscreens. (Many other people can't use smartphones for other physical/medical reasons.) Maybe think about this instead of assuming 100% of people have 100% access to digital tech 100% of the time. We people exist too, and our money is surely as good as anyone else's. Several in our party commented unfavourably on the insane water pressure from the shower. Usually, the complaint is that pressure is too low and water just dribbles out, but no, this was like being hit on the head by a water cannon! Can't you find a happy medium? I found the mattress rather hard, but my wife was happy with it it. Final whinge - quite a serious one, as it's safety-related - is that the way into the hotel from the adjacent multi-storey car park is either via a sinister stairway with dramatically peeling paint or (the route we took as the ladies weren't keen to take their chances with the stairway) a ground-level path, that turns a corner and is really dark due to lack of lighting. For a lone woman this would be a very scary place indeed - fertile ground for muggers. For anyone with less than excellent night vision it's dangerous because part-way along there are steps on the right-hand side that you could easily tumble down. This route needs to be properly lit. Breakfast was excellent - one of the best spreads I've come across. Thoroughly recommended. Choice of cereals, fruit salad, juices, bread, pancakes, waffles, croissants, bacon, sausages, beans, decent hash browns, mushrooms, tomatoes, ham, salami, cheeses, even mackerel (a novelty I didn't try this time round), fresh fruit, etc. Very impressive. In summary: physically, this hotel is excellent and the staff seem to be good too. But the lack of effective aircon and a variety of other, easily resolved defects - caused by thoughtlessness, perhaps - knocked a star off your rating for me.

Housekeeping was very poor, night security on one night was very worrying, food over priced, drinks glasses not up to standard, flooring both inside and out, dangerous and out dated.

Honestly? Absolutely nothing. Staff are rude and unhelpful. Hotel smells of damp and mould.

My stay online was £310 for 3 nights, I was also aware of the £30 charge for my pet to stay. So I anticipated to pay around (max) £400 I paid £517 just to stay, this was £310 for the 3 nights, £30 charge, then I was told I NEEDED to pay £150 deposit baring in mind the usual deposit is £50. I also had to pay £27 to park for 3 nights which I think is obscene!! This is not a hotel I would ever stay at again! The staff do not make you aware of any facilities that are of use or any of the surcharges. For a £300 plus stay you would expect you parking to be included or at least heavily discounted! The flooring is coming up and bubbling the hotel as you enter absolutely stinks of mould and damp! My bedding on both double beds in the room were stained - i am aware I am coming to stay with a pet, what I do not expect is to sleep in some one else’s mess from previous stays. I checked in late, around 11pm, I wanted to shower, bath even use the toilet. I couldn’t do this safely as my bathroom didn’t have any working lights.

Air conditioning was not really air conditioning but a cooling fan which wasn’t very cool. I found hairs still in the bath and there were broken edges. Rather dated.

We contacted reception with a problem and they dealt with it quickly and changed rooms for us at no extra cost and with no problems. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The air con wasn't great and the fans only covered certain parts of the room but we did have a little balcony which was nice.

The bathroom was dirty, soaps stained all over the bathroom tiles and the toilet seat has got stained too. The ironing board broke and left in the room.

There was a strange smell in the lobby area and also a very bad smell on the gym. Almost like the damp / dampness smell.

The room was a great size, and having a balcony was a lovely bonus. The bed was comfortable, the TV was a good size, and the room had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was excellent, with good-quality food and plenty of choice. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay.

The pillows were very soft, so I had to ask for extra pillows as there weren't any medium or firm options available. The shower wasn't as hot or as powerful as I would have liked, although it wasn't too bad. There was some general wear and tear in the bathroom. The edging around the sides was peeling away, and the toilet seat was showing signs of wear and could do with being replaced. Overall, the bathroom would benefit from a refresh, and the room could do with some general maintenance.

The AC needs servicing and it is not related to the UK weather being warm, I'd say it has not been balanced for a long time so the amount of fresh air was low leading to humidity and high ambient temperature

Hotel feels old and worn. Advertised as 4 star luxury but feels like the place needs a good clean and some paint. 2/3 star hotel at best. Walls are marked and chipped paint, bath and shower was clearly old and felt dirty.

When a hotel says it has air conditioning it should work effectively the staff admitted it did not. I chose the hotel specifically because it had A/C

Bar staff on evening of 7/7/26 were extremely helpful and friendly.

Air conditioning did not work in the middle of a heatwave - this was a specific feature which was advertised and had factored into my booking here. When asked about this, the staff response was "yeah we know there's been issues with it for a while", with no alternatives offered (different room, fans etc). Unpleasant smell throughout the hotel corridors. Entryways and walkways all smelled strongly of marijuana. Front desk staff were generally unhelpful and dismissive. Room in poor condition - especially the bathroom which was covered in limescale and was generally dirty.

Friday night staff struggled to help with parking questions. Went back later when it was established i could pay at desk. The air con in room wasn't working. He couldn't explain how to use the controls in the room. But a while later did find me a fan. . I asked about drinks and ice, but couldn't help me . Found out Saturday there was a whole aray of drinks behind the white slide down cooler cabinet....

Das Hotel kommuniziert erst beim Check-in, dass die Hunde im Zimmer nicht alleine bleiben dürfen und man wird gezwungen eine A4 lange Petpolicy zu unterschreiben. Für Kurzausflug nach London völlig ungeeignet! Kann das Hotel an keinen Hunden Besitzer empfehlen! Finger weg!!! Wir mussten zweite Nacht stornieren und verloren auf unserer Reise einen ganzen Tag.

The rooms were exceptional..very comfortable..the bathroom shoeer was powerful and towels soft and fluffy. The bed so comfortable.. I had a handwritten note and some sweets from the front desk team to welcome us...10 out of 10 for comfort and service.

The only criticism we would make was the beer wasn't good it went flat and tasted soapy..maybe the pipes needed a clean.
