Colazione molto buona in una terrazza con vista incantevole sulla baia. Anche la stanza era spaziosa e con vista incantevole. Sonia ci ha aiutato in tutto, è stata davvero gentile. La piccola spiaggia vicina è incantevole e li' davanti è facile vedere le tartarughe marine, si puo' passegiare nella foresta (sentieri molto ben curati) o fare la gita in barca dal lato oceanico.

Las vistas, el trato y sobre todo el ambiente que lo rodea, tuvimos un percance con la reserva en la pousada antes de llegar pero nos solucionaron el inconveniente con el cambio a la pousada lagamar

A pousada é simplesmente incrível, a localização em Araçatiba é excelente. A pousada tem diversas locais para descanso, o que torna a estadia perfeita e confortável. A Sônia e sua equipe são simplesmente incríveis, nos auxiliaram com tudo e tornaram nossa experiência perfeita!

Die Lage und Aufenthaltsqualität der Unterkunft ist hervorragend. Das Personal ist sehr nett, spricht aber nur Portugiesisch und Spanisch. Es können SUPs und Schnorchel unkompliziert über die Unterkunft gebucht werden. Auch Tagestouren konnten täglich nach eigenem Gusto gebucht werden. Das Frühstück und der Kuchen am Nachmittag waren sehr lecker.

Die Sauberkeit ist ok, entspricht aber nicht europäischen Standards. Während unseres Aufenthaltes war das Restaurant die gesamte Zeit geschlossen, so dass wir immer auswärts essen mussten.

No nosso chuveiro, a água caía muito espalhada e não havia ducha higiênica.

La experiencia en este hospedaje es excepcional. La ubicación es privilegiada, las mejores vistas. Y el personal super atentos.

The private pier is very handy and we were lucky to be dropped off by a boat tour. It felt really cool and different. We really liked to have easy access to the beaches around by kayaking from the property pier (kayak and snorkling rental equipment for an extra fee). The cake and coffee for afternoon tea was a nice gesture!

The overall maintenance of the place. It has a lot of potential but you can feel that little money has been spent to maintain the place. The room was small and felt damped. The fan was very noisy and right above us. We couldnt sleep because of the noise and without it on it was way to hot and uncomfortable. The bathroom needs urgent maintenance, we showered with cold water (the hot water wasnt working; we didnt inform the reception because we were already installed and couldn't be bothered to move again) and the water from the shower would spill into the bathroom floor. There was also a very old and unsafe looking ac machine. Also, after rainy days a lot of mud slidded down the hill (not properly secured) which fell to the front of our room door, it felt dangerous.

El lugar es muy acogedor y la vista increíble, el personal muy amable y la disposición para ayudar y recomendar actividades es perfecta! Sonia es una anfitriona excepcional, muy amable y alegre. El cariño que le entrega al lugar y a los visitantes es lejos lo que mas nos gustó!!

La vista y la atención de todos los de la Pousada

Flot udsigt og god beliggenhed. Virkelig sødt personale og søde katte.

Værelset var mindre end vi havde forestillet os. Der var ikke plads til kufferter. Man skal betale for leje af kajak og andet tilbehør. Minibar var tom.

Le personnel a totalement changé notre expérience de l’île, leur bienveillance et gentillesse et surtout leur disponibilité nous ont plus fait tomber amoureux d’ilha grande . Bien que nous ne parlons pas portugais ils faisaient tout pour qu’on puisse communiquer, je reviendrai à Ilha grande et je ne pourrais pas aller autre part que pousada cruzoé . Il y’a 2 restaurant à 3 minutes de marche de l’hôtel qu’il ne faut absolument pas rater, joe et maria et le restaurant de fruits de mer.

Pas grand choses tout était parfait, je dirais que le prix du restaurant de l’hôtel est un peu élevé mais ça reste comparable aux restaurants des environs .

L’accueil, l’accompagnement pour organiser les sorties et la convivialité, le petit déjeuner était sympa, la vue bien, les repas du soir corrects et pas caïpirinha au top !

The property is amazing. Right on the water and just a few minutes walk to two beautiful beaches, this location is a dream come true. There are comfortable shaded areas for hanging out any time of day, and a lot of options for high quality water gear that you can rent. We ate at the restaurant every day and it was delicious. Most of all, the staff were all super helpful, very patient, and so kind.

Overall, this place is amazing! There were some small things that could be improved. For one, it was inconvenient that there are no beach towels provided. It left us trying to use one towel to bathe and one towel to swim between two of us. Also, there were a few things in our bathroom that needed repairs: a loose toilet seat, a broken shower soap dish, and a shower head that pointed toward the wall. Plus, no hot showers. The final issue we had was with a night boat trip. Our boat driver was drinking at dinner and drinking while he was driving the boat back to the hotel. This is a very serious disregard for safety and for hotel guests and it made us very uncomfortable.

Perfect location with a private pier. Easy access to Araçatuba restaurants

Overall the pousada could be better kept. Stairs in need of repair, gardens could be better tended for. While we were there they were painting the decks and doing some maintenance in the grounds

breakfast was really good! Simple but good ingredients - good bread, good ham and cheese, plenty of fruits.

The room itself was pretty bare - the TV did not work (i think the poor wifi connection does not work for Android TV). The ceiling fan electrical wiring very apparent. The led light on the A/C was very bright during the night.

The Pousada was located excellently in the bay with an easy walk to the main beach. The food was lovely, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable.

The location was perfect, right at the water’s edge and surrounded by nature. There were several restaurants within a 10 minute walk and a lovely beach just 5 mins away. Sonia was extremely friendly and helpful. No English is spoken by the staff but we still managed to communicate.

Es precioso el lugar y divinos los dueños te tratan como en casa. La comida muuy rica. Lo recomiendo.

A pousada é perfeita para quem deseja descansar e relaxar (dormimos com o barulho da água batendo, uma delícia). É simples, mas tem tudo que é necessário, os quartos são limpos, o deck para o mar é ótimo para ficar durante o dia. Fomos recebidos com mto carinho e os passeios recomendados foram ótimos.

No último dia acabou a luz e foi necessário ligar o gerador, que era muito barulhento e do lado do nosso quarto. Isso dificultou nosso sono, mas entendemos que não tinha o que ser feito.

Nous avons eu des problèmes avec l’électricité et la douche. Nous avons eu des étincelles dans la tête de douche et nous ne pouvons pas allumer la lumière de la salle de bain pendant qu’on se douchait sinon toute l’électricité sautait.

Las habitaciones, las vistas de las habitaciones, la ubicación, la señal de internet, TV pagada, desayuno básico y las fotos son engañosas, caro en precio para lo que es, no volveria

Charmante Pousada dans un cadre incroyable avec une vue qui l’honore. Le mobilier est spartiate mais c’est compréhensible, après tout nous sommes sur une île. La gérante est adorable et très disponible. Il y a vraiment peu de choses alentours mais c’est une bonne opportunité pour déconnecter complètement (le wifi est cependant très bon pour la zone). Passez votre chemin si vous cherchez de l’animation.

Ma chambre était, semble-t-il, au-dessus de la cuisine et les odeurs de friture ont embaumé ma nuit (le restaurant n’a été ouvert qu’un soir sur les trois où j’étais là).

La ubicación es increíble, ya q siempre tenes la luz del sol y la vista panorámica inmejorable para desayunar y cenar o simplemente descansar. Desde allí podes acceder caminando al resto de las playas, tanto para el norte como el sur. La comida es muy buena y disfrutamos el clásico menú. Brindan asesoramiento claro para poder llegar, y diferentes medios de traslados. Super recomendables!

je ne pensais pas qu'il serait quasi impossible d'aller à Abraao, la principale ville de l'île. Le confort des chambre est rudimentaire.

Prachtig uitzicht op de Araçatiba baai, mooie Pousada en ontzettend lieve mensen die altijd voor je klaarstaan.

Idéalement placé en surplomb de la mer, très agréable avec ses terrasses couvertes vue sur mer. Chambre très petite mais vue sur mer et propre. Les gâteaux maison du petit dej sont un régal, la patronne est très sympa et très aidante. Excellente pâtes aux fruits de mer.

Sonia and the rest of the team were wonderful! They were so helpful and kind and accommodating. The location is perfect! So peaceful and beautiful. We loved our stay and would definitely go back again!

Amazing! Super cute room for family of 5 with 3 single beds upstairs and double downstairs. Beautiful view of the ocean. I don’t know if we were lucky or perhaps it was just the season but we swam with turtles right from the private dock of the hotel every day, multiple times. At least 3 turtles were present all the time and could be seen just relaxing on the dock. Snorkeling was fab tons of fish of a large variety. The bed was large and very comfortable. The caipirinhas were on point, and I should know I’ve drank many! Hosts very smiley and helpful despite my terrible Portuguese. Super happy I booked here, stayed with my older parents and 3 teenage kids and we all loved it very much. Short walk to 2 beaches and the start of the hiking trail. Close to a large variety of restaurants. Can’t rate this highly enough and wished I’d stayed here last time I visited Ilha Grande

No water provided in the room- literally a super minor thing!

The outside/pontoon area is wonderful to relax on, with plenty of seated and shaded options. We liked being able to swim off the pontoon, and also went out in the kayak one afternoon. It’s a short and easy walk to the two nearby beaches, as well as to restaurants and the mini markets. The lunches and dinners at the Pousada are very good, although breakfast could be improved. Our bedroom was comfortable (including the bed) and we enjoyed having the hammock on the balcony. It was convenient being able to be picked up and dropped off from the Pousada’s pontoon. The staff were very friendly and made an effort with us even though there was a language barrier.

The Pousada doesn’t have a generator and there were daily power cuts during our stay, most of which lasted for hours at a time. Whilst the power cuts are out of their control, they could do more to have rechargeable battery lights or fans to give to guests, so you are not left in the dark in your room with nothing to keep cool. This did impact how rested we felt from our stay. Overall, we thought the Pousada was a little overpriced (although we did stay in peak season).

Friendly staff, especially in the second half of our stay. Nice village, not too touristic.

Facilities are very outdated, not like shown in the pictures. Room was not super clean and had several maintenance issues. Common areas need a lot of maintenance. Food was ok, but there are much better options nearby for the same price or less.

Beautiful location, we loved looking in the direction of Lagoa Verde. The pousada has a very relaxing feel Staff were very lovely and helpful Delicious breakfast with a view, we also thoroughly enjoyed lunch there Cleaning every 2 days

It is a bit dated so it has a bit of an unclean feeling, we spotted dead mosquitos/marks on the walls and the water in our shower didn’t drain very well - tip with the tap, it turns colder the more you turn!

Fantastic location, Sonia and team were very nice and helpful. She organised a boat tour for us (good price!) which picked us up from the hotel's pier. The snorkelling off the pier is fantastic. Room was basic but it suited our needs.

The only downside was the mattress was very hard. Everything else was great!

Pousada Crouze is an amazing stay, a beautiful location hidden away from the main port and the mass tourism. Very much looked after by Sonia who have lived there for more than 1 1 years. The room was basic and simple but had all we needed, most of the time was spend on the veranda deck in the hammocks and exploring the island. Sonia made sure everything was perfect and that everyone was happy. Great breakfast and the chef, Fabio, did amazing dishes to share for 2 in the evening. Sonia even organised a boat day trip to remote beaches, helped me with arranging a scuba dive and even our transport back to the mainland again.

Room was quite warm, but was to be expected from a tropical island and a bit damp causing our clothes to smell a bit damp

Location

Location was excellent and host is very friendly.

The room was dirty, with something growing in the corner, a visibly dirty rug and dirt on top of the fridge. We travelled all over Brazil and paid far less for accommodation and they were not as dirty as this. Also menu prices were 15 reals for caipirinhas and 150 for a boat tour, yet we were charged 20 and 180 for these respectively. Maybe the host communicated this to us verbally, but the menus need updating because we felt misled.

the owner and all hotel staff were AMAZING. they were extremely attentive, and would try to make just about everything work. some of the kindest people ive ever met. the food and drinks are also pretty good.

there was no power for the entirety of our 3-night stay and there were no generators. but there were houses nearby that never lost power because they had generators - this property is not prepared to serve guests. no AC/lights/power to charge your devices, etc. our room was missing a piece of glass on the window so mosquitos entered the room all night. the walls have stains all over them. the beds were very simple. linens were clean but there was only a pillow and a sheet. the breakfast was mediocre. we booked this place expecting a little bit of luxury. we wanted AC and a clean and comfortable place to rest after a day of adventure. sleeping there was the opposite of that. the photos on booking make it look way better than it is. it is outdated and rugged. do not expect any hint of luxury, this is island life.

A Ilha Grande sofre com quedas constantes de energia. Todos os hotéis em que fiquei havia gerador para suprir banho quente, conectividade e o básico para os hóspedes, mas a pousada Cruzoé não tem gerador. Tive que tomar banho frio em 2 das 3 noites que fiquei na pousada. O café da manhã é bem simples. Simples demais para uma diária de 500 reais! Poucas opções de frios e bolos, ovos mexidos frios e salsicha barata. O pão francês parecia caseiro e estava bom. Já o suco era um horror. Não parecia natural, mas o problema maior era a quantidade absurda de açúcar que havia ali. Imagine tomar um refresco barato de manga e ainda adicionar 5 colheres de açúcar em um copo de 200ml. É mais ou menos o que senti naquela bebida. O suco de abacaxi era menos pior, porque parecia natural, mas estava aguado e também com muito açúcar. Bizarro. O proprietário foi bastante solícito na hora de agendar passeios e permitiu usar o chuveiro (gelado, pois estava sem energia) mesmo após a última diária, para podermos seguir viagem de volta de banho tomado. Isso foi bem gentil.

The location is perfect if you’re looking for some place to relax. The staff was amazing and even though we had a language barrier (they don’t speak English, we don’t speak Portuguese) they made our stay really pleasant. The breakfast was really good and also the food they served in the restaurant! The common areas are super nice and big enough for all guests to find a nice spot to relax during the day. There are many options such as restaurants and mini markets in walking distance, and also the area around is very nice for a stroll. We rented a kayak for one day, which was round about 50€ but at the end totally worth it as it’s easy to even go far. If you’re okay with a simple standard regarding the rooms it’s a very good place to stay on the island.

We stayed in the basic room which was enough, but next time I would definitely upgrade to another, bigger option as there was not much space even though we only travelled with small luggage. There were no cloth hangers or laundry line - so no options to dry your clothes unfortunately. Compared to our other experiences in Brazil the food and acitivities are relatively expensive.

Quiet Pousada in paradise, perfect to relax at the private Pier and watch sea turtles (if you are lucky) Sonia is really friendly, helpfull and makes amazing Caipirinhas.

We had a lovely time here. The views are just incredible, very close to a small and secluded beach, a hidden gem. Rosi is super lovely and she speaks good Spanish. She helped us booking tours around the island, rent canoes and anything you need, she’s really friendly and helpful. The vibe here is just amazing, we we’re actually sad to leave the place. The whole community seems very nice with humble people.

Wifi can be slow, but that’s not an issue as long as you enjoy the nature :)

Rose and George are wonderful hosts who made me and my friend very comfortable from the moment we arrived. They gave us loads of information on what we could do nearby, but also left us to it which was perfect as we came to relax on the beaches. The location is STUNNING, and really convenient to get a boat from Angra Dos Reis direct to the pousada, which was good for our wheelie suitcases! The nearest beach is a ten minute walk on sandy paths, so otherwise would have been difficult. I was able to rent a kayak for the day for £16, and there are loads of beautiful spots to see nearby within walking distance, while the area stayed nice and quiet (visiting in August). We were able to wash some clothes at the pousada, and our room was kept nice and clean every day.

Breakfast was great and the location can't be beat. Rose was a wonderful hostess. The room our children stayed in had decent mattresses.

In the room my wife and I stayed in, the full sized mattress was... hard... like... it felt like a piece of plywood with very little padding over it.
