Waka Hotel Rural

Perfecto para descansar un fin de semana, tienen servicio de piscina, zonas de descanso, zonas de entretenimiento, senderismo, rio, el pueblo esta a 5 min. La comida nos sorprendió todo estaba muy rico, no tuvimos necesidad de salir a buscar. Muy buen servicio, las habitaciones en especial la ducha un espectáculo.

Limpieza de las zonas comunes, pues por el espacio se ensucian muy rápido. Nos quedamos 2 noches y no nos realizaron aseo la primera noche.

Es un hotel muy lindo, con buenas habitaciones, el servicio del restaurante es excelente, tienen muy buenos desayunos, el personal siempre está pendiente de ayudarte. Adicional a este el hotel es muy amplio y hay muchas opciones para distraerte, como ir al rio o bañarte en la piscina, está cerca al pueblo.

We deden een reis in Colombia met 8 hotels. In geen enkel ander hotel was het bed zo matig, werd de welkomstdrink op je factuur geplaatst, was het personeel zo miniem opgeleid, het eten en cocktails zo weinig kwalitatief, enz...

La atención, el restaurante, la piscina, los senderos ecológicos, el baño de la habitación.

El cuarto que nos tocó no era tan amplio

El personal es excelente, saben bien lo que significa atención al cliente. Tengo una alergia alimentaria y no dudaron en cambiar el desayuno para que yo pudiera disfrutarlo.

El lugar muy bonito, el personal muy atento

Las habitaciones estrechas y con olor a humedad, el restaurante malo, muy costoso para las instalaciones y lo que ofrecen en general .

Un hotel muy lindo que nos encontramos por casualidad. Las habitaciones cómodas, limpias y lindas; la comida rica y el espacio de la piscina también era muy agradable y fresco porque tiene vegetación. El personal muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar, a servir y a que estuviéramos cómodos y comiendo rico.

La zona de la piscina esta muy bien. La chica de la recepción es muy amable.

La conexión Wi-Fi es mejorable: en la zona trasera donde estábamos no llegaba señal, el televisor no funcionaba por problemas de conexión y las puertas no quedaban completamente cerrad

La caminata al río Magdalena vale mucho la pena.

Muy serviciales. Es un ambiente rural, diría que tiene lujo “rústico” 😅. Bonito lugar la verdad, área de piscina muy cuidada, restaurante bien, me gustaron los ambientes, buen masaje, ya días no veía luciérnagas en el campo 🤩

Mosquitos, al ser rural me anticipé y llevé repelente pero deben recomendar o tener jeje

Me gustó mucho la conexión con la naturaleza, la instalación es muy limpia y el calor era tolerable gracias a los árboles del lugar. La habitación era cómoda, con un espacio suficiente para cuatro personas, y el baño era muy amplio, bien decorado con plantas naturales, realmente muy bonito e incluso muy instagrameable.

Es importante mencionar que el hotel está ubicado en las afueras del pueblo, lo que hace que llegar a pie no sea muy fácil. Es recomendable tener transporte para moverse entre el hotel y el pueblo, especialmente si se quiere explorar la parte histórica y otros lugares de interés. Esto es solo para que los visitantes estén al tanto de esta dependencia de transporte.

Las habitaciones son amplias y limpias con la posibilidad de tener mascotas. Los senderos (dos posibilidades para caminar por unos 40 minutos) son seguros y con buenas vistas. Lo unico que sugeriria es que el restaurante deberia contar con mas opciones. Excelente opcion si esta pasando por Honda y quiere tener un sitio tranquilo lejos de la ciudad donde descansar. Muy buena la piscina.

Gran experiencia, es un gran espacio, cómodo, tranquilo, hermoso y muy buena atención por parte de su personal

Toller Pool und der Platz um die Zimmer mit Palmen und schönen Bäumen. Zimmer sind zweckmäßig und waren für uns gut. Das Personal war super freundlich. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut.

Este hotel es perfecto para una noche para hacer un ´break´ en un largo viaje. Viajamos con niños de 2 y 4 años y la piscina fue perfecta para ellos, pero no hay mucho más por hacer. La habitación es linda y cómoda (aunque el baño no tenía techo) , la ducha quedó afuera y fue muy chevere, El desayuno es rico. Hay amplio espacio para parquear y el personal es muy querido.

Creo que podrian poner techo en el baño.

NO ME gusto la distribucion de las camas, estamos en familia y una cama es mas incomoda que las otras, me gustaria que las 4 personas quedaramos en la misma habitacion

Mooie accomodatie met zeer vriendelijke medewerkers. Mooie omgeving met fijn zwembad. Ondethouf van de accomodatie is niet geweldig. Bed was heel goed.

Poor wifi coverage.

The site is very beautiful. You get to enjoy nice trails for walking and a gorgeous river while being just a few minutes drive from Honda. I liked how the hotel enforced silence after 11pm. The place is just very relaxing.

Small thing to blame on me, not the hotel: I booked one of the cheaper rooms for my wife's bday and the room was totally fine yet not at the same level of those a little more expensive. I was lucky because there was one of the nicer rooms available so I paid the difference and upgraded my room. I think one gets a little confused with the pictures and may think all rooms even the cheaper ones come with the patio and all. So people better watch out the actual room they're booking!

Loved the property and rooms - wish we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was one of the best we had in our 3 trip in Colombia. Trails well worth doing.

Very relaxing place surrounded by vegetation with great hiking trails. Open-roof shower/bathroom was nice too. Staff was friendly.

One night power was out. I did not mind the heat of the night w/o AC.

I like the location, the places around, the food, the silence, the ecolgycal walk to the mountain Cukuni, the walk to the Guali river. The gentle, kind staff.

Nothing special, I enjoyed all the place so for me no negative point.

Fab place to stay. Lovely hosts. Good breakfast options. Pool and social areas, including ping pong and pool table. Rooms were large with a spacious bathroom and aircon and a fan. Would recommend.

Only cold water was available in the shower which was a shame. A little out of the town so will be a half an hour walk to get to restaurants/shops.

Beautiful landscape with amazing staff always willing to assist you. They have GREAT vegetarian food, one of the best I’ve every tried since it’s kinda difficult to find these kind of options in rural areas of Colombia.

Muy agradable la estadía. Personas muy amables en la administración del sitio. El ambiente natural es insuperable. Tuvimos un leve retardo en el servicio de desayuno en pero fue rápidamente resuelto. Fuimos en plan de escala de mi un viaje más largo pero quedamos con ganas de volver para descansar unos días. Ah, olvidaba: la piscina es deliciosa muy segura.

The 'hotel' itself is a really lovely place, particularly the rooms which were spacious & very nicely decorated. The bathroom shower was beautiful, only cold water but it's so hot in Honda that's all you need. Only 1 of 3 lights were working so basically showered in the dark at night. The staff were lovely & helped to provide food one evening as well as taking me back to the terminal to depart which was much appreciated. On the negative side the hotel is so far from the town. I love walking but in Honda's 39 degree heat walking along the main road with the huge trucks, even at night is not a nice experience but you can get taxi's back and forth. It's about a 40 minute walk to find somewhere nice to eat, which just twice a day would be okay but the hotel suggests they have a restaurant which turned out not to be true. They did help to order a greasy takeaway when I found this out which wasn't what I wanted but after walking 3hrs in the day I didn't fancy another 80 mins of walking in the dark for dinner. But for this reason it shouldn't be called a hotel, oddly on Google maps it has another name which would be more correct as a Hacienda. Bare in mind with rural comes a lot of insects I came away with at least 20+ bites on my legs from sitting outside for breakfast (I got not in the Amazonas) For this reason I figured sitting by the pool was no longer an option which I was disappointed about. All in all lovely place, lovely people but not great for seeing Honda itself
