Très excentré pas grand chose autour, petit restaurant à côté pour manger le soir mais sinon on doit tout le temps prendre un taxi L’inconvénient c’est qu’à Nusa Penida les taxis c’est hors de prix mais pas le choix Sinon louer un scooter mais les routes sont très très dangereuses

L'endroit splendide. La piscine qui donne sur le volcan. Le personnel super souriant et gentil.

Dommage juste qu'ils font quelques travaux donc un peu de bruit.

Lovely place! It has the best view ever!! With best sunsets!! You can see Nusa Ceningan right in front. It’s rustic, but that is what is nice about it. Loved the tree house, for star gazing!!

Attention, pas grand chose autour à pied, la plage est en contre bas difficile à descendre et remonter, 2 resto. Si vous voulez faire des activités il faut forcément avoir de quoi se déplacer.

Hier ist eine natürliche und ehrliche Bewertung, die nicht zu lang ist: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt im **Gamad Garden Homestay** auf Nusa Penida. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist aus unserer Sicht herausragend. Die Lage ist wunderschön mit einem traumhaften Blick über die Bucht und das Meer. Besonders vom Pool aus kann man den Sonnenuntergang genießen, während man auf den vorhandenen Liegen entspannt. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber absolut ausreichend und für den Preis sehr gut ausgestattet. Moskitonetze sind vorhanden und man hat alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Auch das Frühstück ist völlig in Ordnung und passt sehr gut zum Gesamtpreis. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das unglaublich freundliche Team. Alle sind herzlich, hilfsbereit und kümmern sich liebevoll um ihre Gäste. Sie unterstützen beispielsweise bei der Organisation des Transfers von der Fähre zur Unterkunft und helfen bei allen Fragen gerne weiter. Roller können unkompliziert und günstig direkt über die Unterkunft gemietet werden. Außerdem haben wir durch die Unterkunft die Empfehlung für ein fantastisches Restaurant in der Nähe erhalten, das eine schöne Poolanlage und eine tolle Atmosphäre zum Abendessen bietet. Aber auch das Essen im Homestay selbst ist lecker und absolut ausreichend. Der einzige kleine Hinweis: Der letzte Abschnitt des Weges von der Straße bis zur Unterkunft ist etwas abenteuerlich. Dafür wird man jedoch mit der tollen Aussicht und der ruhigen Lage belohnt. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die auf Nusa Penida eine schöne, entspannte und preiswerte Unterkunft suchen. 🌴☀️

Bagno da rinnovare. La strada per arrivarci è una delle peggiori di nusa penida in termini di buche. In camera c’ è una finestrella sopra il letto da cui entrano le zanzare.

The view was just breathtaking

Owned by a lovely family. So kind and very helpful. Also the price of their food in their restaurant is cheaper than others. And the place and view were amazing.

The ac in my room somehow not getting cold. And the curtains. I think darker is better. Because it’s sunny in the morning and becomes hotter inside the room.

Het uitzicht was echt prachtig! De kamer zelf was ook mooi en voldeed aan de verwachtingen. De eigenaren zijn ook super vriendelijk en helpen graag om het verblijf zo goed mogelijk te maken!

De badkamer was erg basic en de weg er naar toe was lastig bereikbaar, maar met een scooter echt prima te doen.

Staff molto gentile e sempre disponibile. La zona è davvero rilassante e la notte ci si può far coccolare dal suono delle onde contro le scogliere. Ottimo posto per staccare dalla quotidianità.

Gamat Homestay is such a beautiful hidden gem in Nusa Penida! We booked the cab to property and our driver was very polite and experienced. The highlight is the pool overlooking the breathtaking ocean... such a beautiful and peaceful spot to relax. The staff are kind and welcoming, and the food is really good. Amok Sunset nearby is also perfect for a sundowner evening. Overall, a lovely place for a short trip to Nusa Penida and definitely worth a stay!

The road to get there is a little rough, but once you arrive, it’s totally worth it.

Nous avons bien apprécié notre séjour, la gentillesse de l’équipe était incroyable. Nous avons pu organiser une journée trip pour visiter l’île dans une journée. Ils était toujours a l’écoute et arrangeant. Je vous recommande vivement ce logement. Sans oublier une vue à couper le souffle

Die Aussicht war traumhaft mit einem süßen Pool und liegen. Das Bett war sauber und bequem. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals war super.

Es war sehr eng im Zimmer, kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten und das Badezimmer sehr herunter gekommen. Ein Duschstrahl und ein Mini Waschbecken. Das Badezimmer war halbswegs sauber und nachts kamen Kakerlaken raus aus der Toilettenschüssel. Man kommt zur Unterkunft nicht mit dem Auto, weil die Straße gesperrt worden ist. Wir wurden mit Scootern durch einen kaputten Weg gefahren. Das Frühstück war sehr klein: 1 Toast mit Marmelade und Omelett. 3 Stücke Obstscheiben und ein Kaffee oder Tee. Man hatte danach immer noch Hunger.

La vue sur le volcan et sur les îles lembogan et ceningan est magnifique ! La piscine à débordement et les massages sont fabuleux. La chambre est très jolie et intimiste. La famille nous a organisé les visites et notre séjour s’est très bien passé.

La chambre manque de propreté et il n’y a pas assez d’eau chaude pour deux douches ..

L'accueil de la famille, leur gentillesse, leur assistance pour les sorties et pour les transferts ( taxi, fast boat, sortie en bateau, etc...) L'endroit et la vue sont exceptionnels ! Tout c'est bien passé pour nous. Attention, ils viennent vous cherchez en scooter au drop-off car la route est dégradée (3mns)

La vue spectaculaire sur nusa lembogan et ceningan ainsi que sur Bali et le volcan Agung, le cadre depuis la piscine et les chambres sont vraiment magnifique.

De weg ernaartoe is behoorlijk hobbelig en in slechte staat. Taxi kan je brengen tot ong 1 km van accomodatie. Chauffeur regelde dat de mensen van accomodatie ons op scooters kwamen halen. Mocht je niet zo goed kunnen scooter rijden is het misschien lastig. Voor ons was het prima te doen.

Wat een uitzicht!! Super aardige familie die je echt bij alles helpen, massages aanrader daar! Zouden zo weer boeken, maar dan wat langer 🤗

Struttura bellissima con una vista spettacolare. Possibilità di fare massaggi nella zona piscina a prezzi ottimi. La famiglia proprietaria è super accogliente e gentile, valgono il viaggio solo loro! Camera comoda e spaziosa, anche se il bagno meriterebbe un po’ di manutenzione e qualche attenzione in più. Vicinissimo al locale Amok che consiglio di provare assolutamente. La struttura si trova in una strada percorribile in motore, il Taxy non ci arriva ma vengono i proprietari a prendervi con il motore, cosa che abbiamo trovato molto carina e suggestiva! Non preoccupatevi per le valigie grandi, sono abituati a trasportarle. Colazione buona.

Darei qualche attenzione in più al bagno per allinearlo al meglio con la bellissima struttura.

Que no nos cambiaran las toallas y vaciaran la papelera del baño . Limpieza habitacion básica y ducha de las que se moja todo el baño … no la utilizamos !

Mein Sohn war auf Nusa Penida in einem Meeresschutzprojekt tätig und wir haben ihn quasi als Familie abgeholt. Wir sind so froh, Nusa Penida erlebt zu haben. Ruhig, naturbelassen und nur an den Instahotspots touristisch überlaufen. Insgesamt haben wir auf unserer Rundreise 9 Unterkünfte "bewohnt" und am Ende nachgefragt, welche am schönsten war -es waren auch Resort mit allem Schnick-Schnack dabei, Wolkenkratzer in Kula Lumpur und andere tolle Unterkünfte-, fiel die Wahl dann doch überwiegend auf Gamat Garden Homestay in der Gruppe. Es ist in anderen Bewertungen schon alles gesagt. Cottage, Pool, Garten, Ausblick....alles toll. Die Familie ist ein toller Gastgeber. Als mein Sohn bei seinem Abschied mit den Kollegen sich in einer Touribar durch abgestandenen Reis eine Lebensmittelvergiftung zugezogen hat, hat die Familie immer gefragt, ob sie helfen kann. Das Frühstück war vielseitig -woanders gibt es oft nur Omett oder Pancake zur Wahl mit Früchten- und das Abendessen mehr als lecker und vielseitig und ganz frisch gekocht. Wenn einer die Straße kritisiert: nach 100en Kilometern über Nusa Penida, Lombok und Bali sei gesagt, dass man nunmal in Indonesien ist und da ist nicht jede Straße in den letzten Winkel asphaltiert und die Unterkunft liegt nunmal in der absoluten Natur im letzten Winkel. Mein Schwiegersohn war noch nie Roller gefahren und hat die Anfahrt sofort gemeistert. Ein Roller ist ratsam zu buchen, um mobil zu sein, was in der Unterkunft aber zu ortsüblichen Preisen möglich ist. Empfehlenswert ist die Massage (eine Stunde für 10 Euro, unglaublich!) und natürlich das leckere Abendessen. Wir werden sicher aufgrund der Arbeit meines Sohnes nochmal nach Nusa Penida kommen und dann wieder im Gamat Garden Homestay wohnen. Und jetzt mal ehrlich: 28 Euro über booking Genius 3 für ein DZ Cottage mit Frühstück.....das ist unschlagbar, bei dem Niveau der Unterkunft!

Die Dusche und das WC (Waschbecken war bei uns im rückwärtigen Teil des Cottages) ist etwas lieblos, aber da wohnt man ja nicht. Und ich hätte vielleicht abends gerne mal einen Weißwein zum atemberaubenden Blick und Sonnernuntergang getrunken: wer den trinken möchte, muss ihn sich mitbringen, da es nur Bier und Softdrinks zu kaufen gibt.

El baño necesita una mejora urgente. El acceso, no se puede llegar en coche. Te dejan a kilómetro y algo y tienes que ir andando (con maletas) o puedes llamar al hotel y te vienen a buscar scooter.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Essen gibt es vor Ort direkt und einen kleinen Laden auch. Das Insektennetz am Bett hält alle Insekten fern. Die Aussicht ist unschlagbar und man kann direkt Touren buchen. Frühstück ist solide & wir haben außer einen riesigen (30cm-40cm großen Gecko an der Hauswand) nichts gesehen. Außer Mücken. Und der Gecko war nur da wenn abends das Licht draußen an war. Shuttle hat super geklappt. Sprechen gut Englisch

Man kommt zur Unterkunft NICHT MIT AUTO. Man wird ca 7 Min entfernt von einem vom Hotelpersonal kostenfreien Rollershuttle abgeholt. Ja auch das Gepäck. Dadurch ist man sehr unflexibel auch wenn die Damen alles versuchen. Auch sie haben verständlicherweise irgendwann Feierabend. Und selbst für die Verhältnisse auf Nusa ist der Weg nach Gamat Garden leider sehr holprig. Man könnte es eher einen Weg nennen. Leider haben sie ein akutes Mückenproblem. Trotz sprühen der Tür mit Insektenmittel täglich hatten wir unzählige Mücken im Zimmer und täglich welche getötet. Duschwasser ist limitiert. Hatte mit meinen langen Haaren immer wieder kein Wasser oder nur Tropfen sodass ich dann immer lange gewartet hab. Scheint aber wohl auf der Insel ein Problem zu sein.

We had an amazing stay at Gamat Garden Homestay! The view is absolutely breathtaking and the pool is simply incredible – the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings especially the sunset. The garden is very well maintained and adds to the peaceful atmosphere of the property. The family running the homestay is exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful. They assisted us with everything, from arranging a private manta snorkeling trip to organizing our pickup and transportation. Their hospitality made us feel at home from the very beginning. We also enjoyed some delicious dinners at the homestay and the massages were incredibly relaxing. We highly recommend Gamat Garden Homestay to anyone visiting Nusa Penida.

Gamat Garden — это именно то место, куда хочется возвращаться! Главное впечатление — невероятный вид на залив, который завораживает и на рассвете, и на закате. На территории отеля продумано всё до мелочей: есть смотровые площадки, откуда открываются фантастические панорамы. Особо хочу отметить заботу персонала: организовали встречу на пристани по вполне разумной цене и помогли спланировать поездки на несколько дней вперёд. Питание — отдельный плюс. Кафе при отеле кормит вкуснее и быстрее, чем на пляжах, при этом цены сопоставимы со средними по острову, а иногда даже ниже. Отличные свежие соки и коктейли! Каждый раз, планируя обед, выбирали именно отельное кафе — не пожалели ни разу. Номера идеально чистые, белоснежное постельное бельё, всё очень комфортно. Обязательно приедем снова!

Un séjour exceptionnel avec un emplacement et une vue qui font rêver. Si je dois revenir ce sera ici ! Gamat Bay en dessous de l'hôtel est super pour le snorkeling par contre il faut y aller le matin ou fin de mâtiné à marée haute avant que les bateaux de touristes arrivent 😉

The family who run this homestay are really lovely and go out of their way to help (we got sunburnt during our stay and since they didn’t have any after sun or aloe vera gel in their small shop, the mother went out into their garden and picked us some fresh aloe vera to use instead!). The swimming pool is amazing and the views look just like the photos - we spent most of our time relaxing here and the lush green garden setting was beautiful. They also provide food like Balinese curry and noodles for lunch and dinner at an extra cost which we had multiple times during our stay. Breakfast is really good - you get a fruit platter each (we had pineapple, watermelon and papaya during our stay) and then you choose an extra dish like pancake or omelette etc.

Gamat Garden is a very comfortable and beautiful place. The staff are incredibly attentive and kind, always happy to help with anything you need. The view is stunning, exactly as shown in the photos. The hotel also offers taxi service, restaurant, a minimarket, scooter rentals, and great recommendations for places to visit around Nusa Penida. Without a doubt, it offers the best value for money — highly recommended!

The bathroom wasn’t very comfortable, as the shower is not separated from the toilet, which made the whole area quite wet. Also, the electrical switches could be improved.

Le lieu est reculé et très calme, la vue est magnifique depuis la piscine et les chqmbres, le restaurant est particulièrement délicieux ! L'accès en voiture est assez chaotique mais c'est le prix pour être au calme 😊

Nous avons été reçues avec le sourire et la chaleur légendaire de l'île. Toujours là pour nous aider, trouver des endroits à visiter - organiser nos taxis - nos transferts en bateaux - Les petits déjeuner étaient très généreux - Pas besoin de sortir le soir, le menu offert était très bons et surtout très raisonnable côté prix. Le sourire y était ce qui n'a pas de prix :)

Ich bin so froh dieses Juwel gefunden zu haben, fernab von Trubel und Tourimassen. Von überall blickt man über Pool, Natur, Meer, Insel bis zu einem traumhaften Sonnenuntergang. Man kann hier wirklich direkt abschalten und hat seine Ruhe. Die Familie ist super lieb und man fühlt sich hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Ich hatte keinen Roller, die Straße zur Unterkunft ist durchaus abenteuerlich, aber man kann direkt in der Unterkunft Fahrer oder Touren buchen. Ein Highlight ist das Schnorcheln unten in der Gamat bay, die fußläufig entfernt ist - sogar Schildkröten habe ich dort gesehen.

Nous sommes restés une semaine. L'acceuil, la gentillesse , l'efficacité, la vue, l'autenticité, le petit coin "restaurant" tenu par la famille, une carte simple mais cuisiner avec le coeur ! Toujours présent pour organiser une activité, les transports, tout ce don vous avez besoin! Un massage? dans la demi-heure les masseuses sont là, et n'hésitez pas, vous ne serez pas déçus. Ne craignez pas les lézards, les poules, les coqs, un singe qui croise la propriété, celà fait partie de l'île ! La vue est magnifique, et le fait d'être en hauteur vous avez une belle brise ! Je vous le conseille, vous ne trouverez pas un endroit aussi beau et tout à fait abordable. Sortez de votre zone de comfort!

El personal muy amable, nos organizaron driver, masajes, excursión, bote de ida y de vuelta, hasta nuestro driver para movernos hasta Uluwatu. Muy bien predispuesto. La pileta increíble, la vista espectacular.

Deberían mejorar la limpieza de los cuartos, en nuestro cuarto nos apareció 3 lagartijas una noche, lo bueno es que el señor muy amable de la tienda del lado las sacó. Entendemos que estamos en medio de la selva, pero si se corren los muebles se puede chequear que no allan lagartijas. Y las duchas bastante incómodas para bañarse.

Le point de vu paradisiaque....nous avons manger sur place les 3 soirs et franchement on s'est régalé pour un tout petit budget !!!!elle a organiser notre sorties avec les raies manta,notre arrivé et départ....rien a dire tout était parfait !!!!merci a vous pour ce magnifique séjour 😍

Beautiful location and really good breakfast

It’s a lovely home stay run by a very nice local family. If you are looking to unplug from town and enjoy priceless views of the ocean and neighboring islands. Though it’s far from town there are a handful of restaurants and the staff helps you arrange pick up.

Property matches photos. View is amazing. For the price it is great. There is a small shop next to the property.

The property is off the main road and you need to travel like 10-15minutes on a very bad road. There is not much to do near by.

Emplacement exceptionnel avec une vue magnifique des chambres et de la piscine à débordement. Petit hotel familial charmant et propriétaires très gentils et serviables. Location de scooters, massages que l'on peut effectuer à l'hôtel, réservations d'activités, de taxis etc.. Excellent rapport qualité/prix.

Les salles de bain, tout à fait fonctionnelles, mériteraient d'être redécorées mais ce n'est qu'un détail.

Quiet far from the town but ok if you have motorcycles

If you are travelling on a budget and are looking for a quiet spot, with friendly people and an amazing view then you are at the right spot. Garden is small but lovely, same for the pool area. The bungalows are a bit outdated and could do with a some sprucing up. Do not forget you are in a homestay not a hotel. You get good value for money. Very quiet area not much going on in the neighbourhood, so a scooter is more or less a must if you want to visit the rest of the island.

Food was unfortunately not good. Very reasonable prices but very bassic.
