Rooms were rather dated, but still of good quality. Pillows on the bed were foam and became sticky during the night as they didn't "breathe".

The room and bathroom were very small and a little 'tired'. No gluten free bread available for breakfast, despite good choice of foods.

De kamer heeft een opknapbeurt nodig en ik werd wakker van een mot die in mijn haar zat. Brr Zet vooral geen tassen op de grond! Avondeten terug gestuurd en men dacht dat de magnetron mijn stuk vlees zou verbeteren. VERSCHRIKKELIJK. Zoek een andere kok a.u.b. Lauwe frieten is ook niet nodig. Wel korting gekregen maar dat stilt mijn honger niet.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Wir waren auf der Durchreise. Gebucht haben wir über booking.com Das ging absolut problemlos. An der Rezeption haben wir uns dann in Englisch verständigt. Die Dame war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war super sauber! Das Zimmer hat eine Klimaanlage, die man gut einstellen konnte. Die Betten sind gut. Das Frühstück war als Buffet hergerichtet. Es gab mehr als nur Cafe und Croissant. Alles in allem ein gutes Hotel. Wir würden dort wieder übernachten! Direkt neben dem Hotel ist ein Carefour.
Die Dusche ist etwas klein, das Wasser kam etwas spärlich raus. Das Fenster muss man zu machen, da direkt nach vorne raus die Bundesstraße vorbei geht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war teilweise leergeräumt. Es hat etwas länger gedauert, bis wieder nachgefüllt wurde.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026We verbleven één nacht in het hotel als tussenstop op onze route richting de Dordogne. Het hotel ligt vlakbij de autostrade, maar je bent evengoed op tien minuutjes met de auto in het centrum van Chateauroux. Er is een voldoende ruime parking (niet overdekt, niet beveiligd). Wij sliepen met het raam dicht en de airco aan, en hadden nagenoeg geen last van omgevingsgeluiden van de aanpalende grote banen. Ook van de andere kamers en de gang kwam er geen geluid, wat ideaal was met onze twee honden. De kamer was eerder aan de kleine kant en wat verouderd, maar kwam wel overeen met de foto’s. Alles was netjes en ook het beddengoed was schoon. Samen met de vriendelijke ontvangst aan de receptie, maakt dit dat we hier zeker nog eens zouden stoppen moest dit hotel op onze route liggen.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026La proximite du super marche pour l essence et des achats et bien que ce soit une zone commerciale j ai vu un lapin gambader dans un jardin en vis a vis. Par ces temps de canicule, j ai aprecie la climatisation.
J ai juste ete un peu gene par un petit bruit que faisait la clim de ma chambre, et je l ai eteinte pour dormir, mes dans les autres chambres mes enfants n ont pas ete genes

Établissement à rénover. La moquette est obsolète ( odeur épouvantable, poussièreuse ...trop vieille) Étant sujette aux allergies, j'ai été obligée de prendre des médicaments pour éviter la crise d'asthme. Joints dans la salle d'eau dégoûtants. Impossible de prendre une consommation alcoolisée car pas de licence !?!(Non annoncé sur votre site) Première et dernière expérience en Kyriad !

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Its only a short drive and well signposted from the motorway. Check in was quick and the evening reception staff were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy. Lots of free safe parking directly outside. Area seemed safe. Petrol station and big supermarket just across the road. Quiet rooms. Coffee OK
We came down just after 8.30 a.m. for breakfast, there were no scrambled eggs left (which was the only hot food available). We asked if they were going to cook anymore and the lady lifted off the lid and said, no they've all gone "but you can boil an egg for yourself if you want". Would estimate a further 15 people came down after us and obviously they went without too. We also had to request they put out more baguette as only sliced bread available for toast when we came down. Cups for tea and coffee were a bit grubby. Bathroom, although clean, was very small. Hotel definitely only suitable for one overnight stay. Price reflects this.

Hygiëne was niet goed, iemands ondergoed lag nog in de kast. Ook hadden we 2 kamers geboekt waarvan 1 met tussendeur, tip zet mensen die 2 kamers boeken naast elkaar.

Iets waar de hotel zelf niets aan kon doen maar de stroom was uitgevallen in de ochtend. Daardoor hadden we geen koffie en andere warme dranken tijdens het ontbijt. We hoorden dit van andere gasten. Vanuit het hotel zelf hebben we niets vernomen. Geen uitleg, excuses of wat dan ook. Ook niet achteraf.

Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de restauration le soir pendant les week-end mais nous avons pu trouver notre bonheur à proximité de l'hôtel

Moet een update krijgen. Tapijt in kamers heeft vlekken wat onhygiënisch overkomt. Slecht geplaatste en slecht werkende haardroger. Badkamer is aan vernieuwing toe. Personeel onverschillig. Restaurant op dinsdagavond gesloten, terwijl het hotel vol zat. Geen minibar op de kamer. Harde verenmatras. Geen lift.

Espace cabine de douche étroite, mais juste ce qu'il faut. Faire attention de ne pas se cogner le crâne avec le robinet de la douche. Le coffre fort ne fonctionné pas, il manquait 2 piles LR6 sur 4. Présence d'une mante religieuse dans la chambre. Un petit rafraîchissement au niveau peinture à prévoir.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026L'accueil est souriant. La chambre est impeccable, le petit déjeuner est au top et le repas du soir nous a régalé. L'isolation est parfaite et l'emplacement est précieux.
Malgré nos quatre vingt ans nous sommes montés par l'escalier sans problème jusqu'au 2eme étage,mais s'il y avait un ascenseur ce serait le top !

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026The bedroom and bathroom were spacious, clean and quiet. Plus, the air conditioning wasn't too noisy. The reception staff was efficient and helpful, and the cleaning staff was very nice. The breakfast food and drinks were varied and tasty. The hotel exterior was well decorated with plenty of colourful flowers. And the amenities around it were very handy: supermarket, petrol station, coffee shop, etc... But the best was Marius, the cat! 💜
The mattress was too firm compared to the softness of the pillows. We still managed to sleep, but with pain in our necks. The sheet tray should be put away everyday instead of being left in the corridor, otherwise it looks messy. In the restaurant, we didn't have the choice the menu offered, the cooking of the meat wasn't right and we felt a bit rushed to finish our meal. The overall decor inside needed more modernity.

Ca sentait mauvais, le sol salle de bain collait, loin de tout, pas de repas, oreiller de mauvaise qualité, robinet cassé, evier bouché, modification de notre réservation avec justificatif bizarre. Très sombre. Déjeuner tardif pour reprendre la route. Cher pour le service recu. Sur une route bruyant pour ouvrir la fenetre. Peu de personnel disponible. Pas de réponse a notre message.

Établissement vieillissant, j’ai du demander a changer de chambre car la chasse d’eau fuyait . La climatisation ne rafraîchissait pas énormément . Joints noircis dans la douche
