Property was even better than expected - clean, beautiful, incredible location. Room felt brand new and loved the rock face behind us...stunning. Managers at FD all very nice, helpful, accommodating. Free granola bars a nice touch. Hiked the trail behind the hotel, gorgeous...a little more of a nail-biter than I expected! Super fun. Didn't try on-site restaurant, but looked cute, clean, busy in a good way. Got a piece of cake though and it was tasty. BBQ restaurant in town was decent, good food, outdoor seating option for pup, no vibe, but solid option in a small town. Twin Rocks Gallery and coffee shop were nice stops too.

Pet fee is steep - though happy to pay so I can bring my buddy on our adventure. Pet friendly accommodations are few and far between in the area

Beautiful and spacious room on two floors. OUtdoor patio wonderful. Nice swimming pool. Break fast was tasty. Nice shop at the entrance

No dinner when we arrived. SHould be a late dinner option. Waiting time at breakfast too long and order came wrong.

Nos faltó un poco que el personal de recepción nos explicara lo que podíamos hacer en las instalaciones, y también un poco más de simpatía. Fueron correctos y educados, pero nos faltó un poco de entusiasmo, y más en un lugar tan bonito e increíble.

Simplemente lo que he comentado antes del tema del personal de recepción que podría mostrar más entusiasmo a la llegada de huéspedes y explicar todo lo que se puede hacer. Insisto, fueron educados y respetuosos.

le stanze erano molto rumorose, sentivi i passi di chi era sopra. per il costo di una notte è un peccato. poco rilassante visto il posto meraviglioso in cui si trova il resort.

Manque un bar sympathique et animé au bord de la piscine avec un choix de boissons correct. Ambiance triste, dommage car l’endroit est magnifique.

Lieu magique, je conseille d'y passer au moins 2 nuits car il y a pas mal de choses à visiter et l'hôtel est vraiment agréable. La piscine est extra et le toboggan a énormément plu à mes enfants. Hôtel très bien entretenu, l'ensemble du personnel est vraiment souriant et agréable. Un lieu pour passer un moment hors du temps !

Nous sommes arrivés tôt, après 4h de route , nous étions très en avance et nous avons dû changer nos plans car on nous a refusé l’accès à notre chambre. Check in à 15h , impossible de négocier plus tôt. Durant tout notre road strip , c’est le seul endroit où nous avons été accueillis froidement, à peine un sourire et aucun geste commercial. Nous sommes donc allés à monument Valley alors que vous avions prévus de le faire au coucher du soleil.. un peu cher par rapport à l’accueil. Climatisation beaucoup trop bruyante . Netflix ne fonctionnait pas.

Spacious room with a nice terrace located at the foot of a small hike and the hotel is located ideally located on our route between visiting national parks. I also recommend visiting Bluff and it's historical museum. Lovely swimming pool which I recommend as well during sunset. :) The lobby also has nice refreshments to drink and had granola bars to take - much appreciated!

breakfast service was actually not good. there is only a small cabin where you can get your food. It has terrible coffee (from EU perspective) and it's quite expensive. I recommend to go to a local coffee shop nearby in Bluff and also enjoy some breakfast over there.

Bluff Dwellings Resort was disappointing and felt much more like a motel built among the rocks than a proper resort. I am amazed at all the raving reviews here... Our room had no real view, and every night we found several bugs inside. The terrace also felt rather pointless, as there was very little reason to use it, especially at night when the whole area is completely dark, and smoking is not allowed. The pool is tiny and was constantly crowded with children, so it was hardly relaxing. The restaurant was very poor, a self service shack. There is no room service, and overall the property felt oddly isolated and lacking in atmosphere. The setting may look impressive in photos, but the actual experience was underwhelming and certainly not what I expected for the price.

The hotel room was huge and absolutely beautiful — probably the nicest hotel room I have ever stayed in. It was not only stylish and cosy, but also genuinely clean. The large balcony, good air conditioning, plenty of storage space and comfortable beds made the room perfect. The pool, towel service and stunning views exceeded our expectations, which were already quite high. It was honestly one of the highlights of our road trip. We hesitated beforehand because this room was a little more expensive than most of the other places we stayed, but for us, it was absolutely worth the extra money. It was the perfect place to slow down and relax during a road trip. We were a little disappointed that there was no breakfast included, but there is a restaurant where you can have both dinner and breakfast. We left early and didn't have breakfast, but we did order pizza in the evening. The pizzas were fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. We really appreciated this, as hotel restaurants often charge a lot for rather average food — that was definitely not the case here. There is also a gas station with a small supermarket and an ATM just a one-minute drive from the hotel. The ATM was particularly useful, as our European bank cards occasionally didn't work, especially in more remote locations. Wi-Fi was also good. Overall, we give this hotel a 10/10 despite the lack of breakfast. It was a real highlight of our trip and definitely a place we would recommend.

La localisation est magnifique. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées. Dommage que nous n'ayons pas prévu un séjour plus long dans cet établissement pour profiter de ses services.

Fantastic hotel located in the middle of a boulder area. We were two families (total 4 adults and 1 child) and we stayed in a duplex room with big and confortable rooms. The appliances were new and nice, the beds were very confortable and had amazing views overlooking the desert. The common areas were nice and clean, with firepits and BBQs that worked well and were clean. The swimming pool and gym areas were very nice, integrated also in the landscape. There was even a play area with cornholes, hammocks, voleyball... very nice and trully relaxing.

Considering that up to 6 people could've slept in the appartment, having one single bathroom was a bit tight, also considering the bathroom was very big and had a shower and and a bathtub. It may more practical to have two separate smaller bathrooms. Also, the kitchen area was big enough to have a stovetop, but instead there was a small electric stovetop that we had to plug and unplug every time.

Absence d’un vrai restaurant avec une terrasse, le cadre est tellement beau, ce serait formidable !

Struttura bellissima a poco meno di un’ora da ingresso della monument valley.. camere bellissime (senza la terribile moquette presente ovunque in America!) bagno con doccia bellissima (senza orride tendine!) arredamento molto bello e servizi eccezionali. Tante aree comuni e aree barbecue deliziose salottini su vista cielo stellato meraviglioso, bellissima la piscina sia a temperatura ambiente che idromassaggio caldo.. ci sta anche servizio per cena e colazione dove mangiare una pizza più che buona per standard americani.. veramente consiglio a tutti e spero di tornarci prima o poi..

Ne pas avoir les bonnes capsules pour la machine à café , et l’employé a l’accueil n’a pas voulu comprendre mon problème. Vu le prix de la chambre… par contre la veille pour le Check in , la personne qui m’a reçue a été parfait.

Eines der saubersten Zimmer in denen ich je übernachtet habe. Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren super sauber und hygienisch. Anlage ist sehr schön in die Landschaft integriert.

Kein Aufzug. Wenn man schlecht zu Fuß ist und viel Gepäck hat etwas schwierig.

Posizione spettacolare e struttura curata nei dettagli. Camere spaziose e pulite, molti servizi comuni accoglienti. Piscina top. rilassante e raffinata. Buoni piatti al ristorante anche se limitati nella scelta.

The place is beautiful, close to the rocks and the sky at night is impressive.

The first night the staff at the reception was so rude. Also at the restaurant. It almost ruined our experience, luckily the next day Greg was amazing and also the cleaning staff super friendly.

The location was fantastic and the room was great. The pool and hot tub were excellent to finish each day - refreshing and relaxing. The food and shakes at the small breakfast place on-site were good and substantial. Easy access from the hotel to many of the parks and sites in the area. We liked that the property lighting at night is kept low to avoid light pollution and enhance the view of the night sky, which was great. The communal fireplaces and terraces were good for appreciating the excellent views of the bluffs that fully surround the hotel. The Trading Post just across the road is fantastic as well.

There are no elevators, so be prepared to carry luggage if you're on the second or third floor. While the pool and hot tub are open until 10pm, even later would be better as there were always still people using both when 10pm rolled in.

Bluff Dwellings is one of our very favorite places to stay! Dramatic setting. Clean beautiful rooms that match the setting. Awesome, helpful staff.

Emplacement sublime, chambres grandes et décorées avec goût, terrasse individuelle pour chaque chambre donnant sur la roche, piscine et jacuzzi très sympa. Personnel agréable. Bref, parfait. A 40 min de route de monument valley en direction de moab, très bonne pause, n arrivez pas trop tard pour en.profiter!

Two bed, two bath villa had plenty of space with upstairs area, lounge and outdoor patio space. Villa was very clean and well maintained.

Une très belle surprise ! Notre chambre était en réalité un véritable appartement, spacieux, bien équipé et très propre, avec une agréable terrasse. Il est également possible de se garer juste devant l'appartement, ce qui est très pratique. L'endroit est calme, avec très peu de bruit, idéal pour se reposer. P. En résumé, l'hébergement est une excellente surprise, mais le service du restaurant mérite clairement d'être amélioré.

etit bémol concernant le Cedar Café. Soit l'établissement manque de personnel, soit l'organisation est à revoir. Nous avons attendu 1 h 40 pour dîner, et malgré cette attente, une pizza manquait encore à notre commande. De plus, le restaurant ferme dès 20 h, ce qui limite les possibilités. Le lendemain matin, nous avons tout de même tenté le petit-déjeuner. Il était très moyen, plutôt cher pour ce qui est proposé, et là encore, un élément de notre commande avait été oublié

I am following up on the response that Bluff Dwellings gave to my huband's review. Unfortunately they are not telling the truth when they say that they advised the guests of the expected delay for our food. That was never communicated. If it had been, we would have gotten on our way and had breakfast 20 minutes up the road in Blanding. The only thing they could have done to make that experience worse was to lie about it in their response and unfortunately, that's what they chose to do. To anyone reading these reviews, please take note that this is how Bluff Dwellings Resort operates. If you do stay there, hopefully any issues you have are minor because obviously they will not take ownership of any mistakes they make.

No elevator to upper floors

Unfortunately they are the only game in town and they know it and act like it. 5 star attitude but only 2 star service. Rooms were clean but average at best. Pillows were about 1/2 size of a normal pillow. The phones in the room didn’t work so you had to text everything to the front desk. The real downfall is the service. The first night there we were looking forward to sitting at the fire pit on our patio and after seeing that all the other fire pits were lit, I texted the front desk and they said that it should have been lit but they would send maintenance to light it and they’d extend our use until 10:30. I said that the book in the room said the fire pits were lit until midnight and they asked for proof of what I said. So I took a picture of those exact words in the book and they said they needed to change those. Then the next night, the fire pit was again not lit. We gave up on it at that point. Pool was average but hot tub had rust stains all over it. The following morning we went to the little restaurant to grab a quick breakfast before we checked out. It took an hour for our meals to get served. Several people that ordered way after we did got their food before us. I grabbed the first half of the order and took it back to the room so I could eat it while it was still warm and then it took another 20 minutes for my wife to get the rest of the order. We were in a hurry to get on the road so I called the front desk and told them about it and said I thought we deserved a refund. They said I would have to go back to the restaurant and get the refund from there because they were on a different system. I couldn’t believe they were making me take more of my time to get this taken care of but I went to the restaurant to get the refund because now it was more about the pricipal of it. When I got to the restaurant, they were on the phone with the front desk talking about it. The girl at the restaurant said “well they took all of their food” After she got off the phone, I told them I was there for the refund and they said they would only give me 50% back. She again said that we had “taken all the food”. I said there was no reason for that order to take an hour to complete. It was 3 breakfast burritos, 2 omelets and a combo of eggs and bacon. McDonalds would have given a full refund if that took more than 10 minutes. Anyway, after they called the front desk person to come over and handle it, she also said that she would only give me 50% off. I said that 50% was never mentioned when I texted the front desk and I expected a full refund because that’s what I asked for and they told me to go to the restaurant to get it so that’s what I expected. She again said that 50% was all she could do. At that point I said I’d rather dispute the charge and left. Do yourself a favor and drive a little further to Moab and stay there to get a real hotel with real service.

this is such a special place; in the canyon, close to the environment, beautifully positioned. our room was very comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. the pool is great especially after a hot day of exploring. upshot: surprisingly great gift shop!

Struttura incastonata tra rocce di arenaria, spazi comuni e camere sono pulite ed arredate con gusto, stile ed attenzione al dettaglio per rievocare l’atmosfera del luogo. Piscina molto carina, curata e pulita dotata di teli e lettini. Il personale è attento e pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Nel resort è presente un piccolo bar che offre anche possibilità di ordinare piatti da asporto per poterli gustare nel patio della propria stanza.

Bluff is a perfect place to stop on your way somewhere else. I have been passing through for the past 30 years and this visit was the best! It’s so hot here for so many months the pool at Bluff dwellings is ideal! It’s a gorgeous place and the room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was very professional and we appreciated that they called us after we checked out to let us know we left an item. When we asked, they kindly mailed it to our home address. Great Experience.

I loved how unique it was. The location was awesome and the amenities were wonderful. The staff were nice. The room was clean and the beds were the best I’ve had on this cross country trip I’ve been on for work. I would stay again. Next time though, I will pack my cooler with something to cook on the grills that are available for use.

This was an amazing stay. We were here for 7 days. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond. The pool was exquisite with pool towels located around the pool. Cedar Shake Cafe had amazing pizza! The room was immaculate and beautifully decorated. They lit the fire pit and outside fire pit each night and the stars were gorgeous. We were on the second floor with a balcony. The ice machine had pebble ice and water so you could fill up your water bottle for your next adventure!! I totally recommend.

Stayed 2 nights. The resort had a beautiful setting and look to it. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Pool was nice to dip in after a hot day. Friendly staff. I would stay again.

Die Lage zwischen den Felsen ist sehr schön und die Bauweise des Hotels passt sehr gut hinein. Die Zimmer im selben Look sind sehr schön und ordentlich, und auch ruhig. In jedem Haus gibt es nette Gemeinschaftslounges und freie Getränke. Das Personal war sehr nett und der Pool stylisch und gepflegt. Alles in allem eine sehr schöne Lodge. Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis passt!

One of our favorite hotels. We go every year. The people are great and the hotel is super nice. The food is great and depending on the day it might be one of the only places to eat. The lobby also sells items including beers and other drinks. Sometimes we eat pizza from the cafe and other times we bring food to use on their gas grills out back by the fire tables. The whole experience there is awesome. My wife got a massage after a long day of hiking. The giant Jacuzzi is great and we even used the gym on the day of arrival. Sitting out back by the fire tables watching the towering cliffs just feet away turn colors at sunset with beer and dinner after a long day hiking or driving it sooooo nice. We always meet interesting people sitting around the big fire tables in the adirondack chairs.

Great location! You can see the cliff & rocks in front of your nose while sitting comfortable sofas set on their patio. Pool & Jacuzzi were very nice too.

We were AMAZED by this place! Such a beautiful resort surrounded by natural beauty! We were only planning to stay 1 night, but once we saw how wonderful it was, we changed our plans and stayed an extra night. Every possible element was so thoughtfully decorated and thought out. We were thoroughly impressed, which days a lot because we are very frequent travelers. If you’re looking for an incredible stay at a great price, stop reading and book this resort! =)

Das Resort liegt nahe dem Monument Valley direkt am Fuße eines Felsens. Tolle Architektur, ausreichend Parkplätze, sehr freundliches Personal. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber. Und gepflegt.

Es gibt wenig Gastronomie. Die Küchen in den Zimmern sind jedoch voll ausgestattet.

I love the place. Staff friendly. It's our 3rd year. We make new friends all the time with amazing stories. I recommend!

Pool was too cold

What a great setup - a house rental at a resort! Perfect for our group of three couples. Clean, beautiful, wonderful in every way! The fire pit was a bonus!

Das Zimmer war für drei Personen sehr geräumig und auch das Bad war groß genug. Die Außenanlage ist ein Traum, mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten neben dem eigenen Balkon. Das kleine Café direkt auf dem Hotelgrundstück hat auch eine super Auswahl an Frühstück und Lunch/Dinner, sehr lecker! Wir haben hier übernachtet, um uns Monument Valley anzuschauen, welches eine Stunde Fahrt vom Hotel entfernt liegt. Wir würden hier wieder übernachten, auch wenn wir weiter fahren mussten!

Das Personal im Hotel als auch das Personal in dem Café können definitiv an ihrer Freundlichkeit arbeiten! Wir wurden in allen anderen Hotels so freundlich empfangen, hier eher desinteressiert und sehr unmotiviert.
