Die herzliche Begrüßung und Team. Man hat sich vom ersten Augenblick an wohl gefühlt! Die Ruhe, die Lage in der tollen Umgebung und Natur, und trotzdem hat man die Nähe zu Restaurants und Badestelle, das hervorragende Frühstück.

La pulizia delle camere dovrebbe essere più accurata, la colazione buona ma non molto varia, la poca privacy del bagno privo di una schermatura, le camere sono strutturate prevalentemente per ospitare coppie, i sentieri dovrebbero avere ausili per sorreggersi.

Es war eine außergewöhnliche Lage, mitten im Grünen. Holzhäuser mit einem Charme, der uns von Beginn an begeistert hat. Gemütlich und einladend eingerichtet. Ruhe auf dem gesamten Gelände zum Entspannen und einfach Wohlfühlen. Ein Pool zum relaxen. Jeden Morgen hat uns ein wunderbares Frühstück erwartet. Frischer Orangensaft, verschiedene infused water Karaffen, unterschiedliche Obstsorten. Ich hatte vorher mitgeteilt, dass ich lactoseintolerant sei: es wurde extra Milch und Joghurt für mich bereitgestellt. Ein unglaublich fröhliches und freundliches Team half bei Fragen. Danke für Tage, die wir nicht vergessen werden. Danke Fernanda für ein liebes Verabschiedungsgespräch.

Si è completamente immergersi nella rigogliosa natura! Dormire con i suoni della foresta è una sensazione meravigliosa! Lo staff del Caparica è gentilissimo e super disponibile. Super colazione fatta con prodotti naturali. La casa in legno è una vera coccola, tutto studiato nei minimi dettagli. Tutto assolutamente perfetto!

La location immersa nel verde e nella pace assoluta è qualcosa di spettacolare; i lodge sono completamente immersi nella “foresta” e molto isolati l’uno dall’altro permettendo di avere la propria privacy; la colazione molto abbondante e di ottima qualità; Fernanda é stata molto disponibile e di supporto a tutto il nostro soggiorno con i suoi consigli;

Located within beautiful nature, secluded and quiet. Very nice breakfast. Great staff.

Small single beds. Also the pipes were smelly and the smell was strong every time sink, toilet or shower were used. As the bathroom has no door to shut, the odor would reach the entire room.

We absolutely loved our stay! We loved this retreat in the forest, walking up that little path to the hut through the flowers, a fantastic fresh breakfast and most importantly a great host - thank you, Fernanda, for the great island tips!

The property is at the top of a hill surrounded with lush trees and beautiful flowers. The views are stunning of the ocean and a peak of the sunset through the trees.

Es un lugar idilico en plena naturaleza y cuidado al máximo detalle. Las cabañas son preciosas, un remanso de paz y tranquilidad, perfectamente aisladas. Desayuno de alta calidad. A destacar el entorno y la amabilidad y atención del personal, tienen un sistema de chat por wassap que te da asistencia y recomendaciones para toda la isla. Un 10 al lugar, a todo el personal y en especial a Carla, una maravillosa anfitriona y persona.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. We arrived after 11:00 p.m. due to the inter-island flight schedule, and they were incredibly helpful in making sure we could still access the treehouse without any issues. Just let them know your arrival time in advance, and they’ll do everything they can to help. As someone with celiac disease, I really appreciated the care they took to ensure gluten free options were available. The chef even prepared additional gluten free food for me, and the team provided excellent recommendations for other gluten free restaurants on the island. The surrounding forest is beautiful, and it was a joy to relax on the deck or in the hammocks, soaking in the peaceful, quiet atmosphere. We also really appreciated the thoughtful pulley system for transporting luggage to the treehouse, which meant we didn’t have to carry our bags up ourselves.

I have allergies and noticed a fairly strong musty smell inside the treehouse, which unfortunately gave me a headache. A dehumidifier or additional ventilation in the room might help to reduce the dampness and make the space more comfortable for guests.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Lodge hatte einen sehr schönen Ausblick aufs empfernte Meer. Es war traumhaft im grünen und dem Vogelgezwitscher. Auch das Frühstück wurde sehr liebevoll hergerichtet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, tolle Unterkunft.

Wunderschöne Anlage umgeben von Wald und einem schönen gepflegtem Garten, absolute Ruhe, gut zum entspannen. Das Personal ist super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit, es werden keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Für uns war es eine traumhafte Umgebung und wir empfehlen es sehr gerne weiter.

Die Anlage hat uns auf den Fotos so gut gefallen das wir dort gebucht haben. Das war die beste Entscheidung. Sehr außergewöhnlich, wunderschön mitten in der Natur. Für Gehbehinderte nicht geeignet da es doch sehr weit hoch geht und die Stufen aus Naturstein sind. Das Zimmer ist funktionell eingerichtet, die Betten sehr bequem. Uns hat es nicht gestört das es keine Tür zum Bad gibt. Die Angestellten sind so freundlich und herzlich und kümmern sich um alle Fragen und Wünsche. Dafür nochmal herzlichen Dank. Der Pool ist gut zum schwimmen geeignet. Das Frühstück gibt es bis 11.30 Uhr, genial. Es gab leckeren Kaffee und Tee und alles was ein gutes Frühstück ausmacht. Eier zubereitet nach Wunsch. Frisch gepressten Orangensaft . Wir kommen gerne wieder.

looks like the rooms have been around a while but still in great condition. Its a safari/jungle atmosphere so everything fits. Can't really complain about anything. keep your door closed if you don't want bugs.

The EcoLodge is pure paradise. The Staff is delightful, helpful and informative. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast is tasty. The location is very convenient, with beautiful views of the ocean in the distance and clear stars at night.

Caparica Ecolodge hat uns wirklich umgehauen. Es war wunderschön und idyllisch. 5 erholsame Tage in der Natur haben wir hier verbracht. Das Personal, besonders Carla hat uns so herzlich empfangen. Gerne wieder. Der Frühstückraum und schön eingerichtet, dass Frühstücksbuffet ist mit vielen leckeren Sachen ausgestattet.

Uns hat alles gefallen

Wir hatten 5 wundervolle Nächte in der Ecolodge Caparica und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wir waren als Ehepaar mit unserem 7-jährigen Kind dort und haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Die oberste Lodge war einfach traumhaft – eine super Aussicht, genug Platz und alles sehr gemütlich. Besonders schön war, morgens mit diesem Ausblick aufzuwachen und die Vögel die ans Fenster klopften. Auch das Frühstück war wirklich sehr gut, frisch und mit viel Liebe vorbereitet. Das Beste an unserem Aufenthalt waren aber die Menschen dort: Alle waren unglaublich freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Man merkt sofort, dass sie ihre Gäste von Herzen willkommen heißen. Wir können die Ecolodge Caparica absolut weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Its nice to have a separate hut instead of a huge hotel building. Its very quiet and they do offer very good breakfast.

There is no bathroom door but it is around a corner.

Endroit magique, un excellent séjour, personnel formidable.

Es ist einfach magisch dort. Diese Luft, dieser Blick aufs Meer, diese Ruhe. Das Personal ist unfassbar freundlich und einfach nur Weltklasse. Die Stelzenhäuser sind super süß und komfortabel.

Durch die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit und die „4 Jahreszeiten an einem Tag“ ist es manchmal recht klamm und man bekommt seine Klamotten nur schwer wieder trocken. Das ist aber überall so und hat mit den Lodges nichts zu tun.

Die Lage der Bungalows, die einzigartige Atmosphäre, das äusserst freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal und das tolle, reichhaltige Frühstück machten unseren Aufenthalt zu einem eindrücklichen Erlebnis!

Uns hat alles gefallen. Für drei Personen (2 Erwachsene, 1 Kind) war der Bungalow etwas eng - jedoch ist dies keine Kritik, denn wir haben es so gebucht…

If you go to Terceira and are looking for a remote, quiet, off the beaten path place, this is it! Each room is its own apartment built right into the woods. The staff there I cannot speak more highly of. Everyone was so friendly. They gave us guidance on places to see, booked restaurant reservations for us, and prepped a fantastic breakfast everyone day! The room is great and each cabin is very private. Location was perfect for getting around the island and avoiding the really busy areas.

The bed was a little tough for me. That said it wasn't hard to fall asleep with the natural sounds of the wind rustling the trees and rain drops on the roof. The staff more than made up for it.

Die Unterkunft ist ein wirklicher Geheimtipp, mit überaus freundlichem Personal, was jederzeit Empfehlungen und Geheimtipps gibt bzw Reservierungen übernimmt. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und die besondere Art der Unterkunft für einen Urlaub echt etwas schönes.

Man sollte sich gut kennen, da keine Tür zum Bad besteht. Für Pärchen daher gut geeignet.

Einmalige Unterkunft mit super Ausstattung, einem paradiesischem Garten und wundervollen Mitarbeitern. Wer eine perfekte Unterkunft sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

le site est magnifique et avec quelques efforts de montée dans la forêt par des escaliers de pierre, chaque "cabin" est totalement isolée. Tout en bois, tout écologique dans les moindres détails, une équipe convaincue par un tourisme respectueux de l'environnement, des personnes etdes producteurs locaux. Ne pas emmener trop de bagages (c'était notre cas puisque étape dans un séjour de 2 semianes) parcequ'il faut les faire monter (très aimablement proposé par la gérante via un monte charge sur cable et à force de bras pour la deuxième moitié de l'ascension. Lieu de départ idéal pour visiter Terceira en voitiure et treks inoubliables malgré la météo très variable et venteuse en hiver. petit déjeuner fantastique avec découverte de produits et traditions locales.

Il n'y a quaqi pas de rangement dans la chambre, il faut arriver léger. Quitter l'endroit est difficile!

L’emplacement est paradisiaque, c’est magnifique. Le petit déjeuner est complet et excellent. Le personnel est au petit soin avec nous. Toujours souriant, attentionné et souhaite que notre séjour soit agréable. Service impeccable!

Il y avait une odeur d’humidité dans les chambres, mais qui disparaissait si nous mettions la fonction DRY sur l’A/C.

Carla was exceptional. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable - when one of our party didn’t have a good sleep she moved some of us into the house for the rest of our stay. She provided lots of useful information.

The cabins were in the forest, leaving you feeling very peaceful and secluded. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, full of tips and advice. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, we didn't know it was going to be vegetarian (not a problem for me but my other half loves bacon!), but in the end there was so much choice and amazing fresh eggs that he enjoyed it too! A beautiful place to rest and recharge if you're happy doing not a lot. I'd definitely recommend for a couple of nights of R&R! The gardens and pool are are beautiful, you spot different plants and flowers every time you walk the bath, it's really lovely to be immersed in nature.

The bathroom situation is unusual with no door/privacy. The lack of somewhere to sit in the evening is a shame, we had some rainy days when we were there and the cabin only has seating on the balcony which didn't suit in the rain. The breakfast room closes at 5pm so you are forced to drive out somewhere to eat/drink. Everything felt quite damp due to the humidity, it would have been great to have a clothes airer or dehumidifier as after getting soaked one day in the rain we had some clothes that didn't dry until we got back to the UK!

Ein wunderschöner Ort mitten in der Natur, ein herrliches Frühstück und mega herzliche Mitarbeiter. Hier stimmt einfach alles und wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Ein Ort der seinesgleichen sucht. Aufgrund des zu erwarteten Hurrikan wurde uns die letzte Nacht empfohlen die Unterkunft zu wechseln und ohne zusätzliche Kosten ein schönes Ersatzhotel organisiert. Danke für euer vorausschauendes Handeln.

Nous avons passé une nuit de rêve dans notre petit bungalow noye dans la laurasylve avec une vue magnifique sur l'océan! Petit déjeuner au top..magnifique piscine et un parc somptueux. Sans oublier l'accueil très chaleureux! Que du bonheur

Ładnie położony wśród przyrody na końcu wsi ośrodek z kilkoma domkami między drzewami , bardzo ładna jadalnia i miła obsługa w recepcji

Domki nie są za wielkie - przedzielone są toaleta i prysznicem sprawiają wrażenie trochę klaustrofobicznych , ponieważ Domek znajduje się w lesie a gdy jeszcze jest deszcz w domku panuje straszna wilgotność -wszystkie rzeczy są mokre mimo włączonego osuszania przez klimatyzacje. Nie są tak wygodne jak na zdjęciach . Do pobytu na jedną noc ok ale na dłuższy pobyt nie polecam. Należałoby też trochę poprawić czystość - brudne szyby , kabina prysznicowa i podłoga . Śniadanie składa się z wielu opcji ale niestety nie są to świeże produkty - wygląda jakby były przez kilka dni wyciągane i chowane do lodówki ( może wynika to z małej ilości gości )

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft mitten im Wald, ausgesprochen nette Mitarbeiter. Tolle ruhige Lage, schöner Frühstücksraum. Netter kleiner Pool mit Liegen (Polster wären schön).

Klimabedingt ist es immer etwas klamm in der Unterkunft.

Super endroit au calme et arboré. Le calme règne et on peut se relaxer. La piscine est top. Nous avons eu un lodgy avec une vue sur la mer d’un côté et de l’autre sur une mega bruyère. Le lit est comfortable. Le pt dej est super avec un café extraordinaire. Les valises voyagent avec un ascenseur. Le personnel est sympa. Super pour un couple.

Nous avons été déçu de ne pas trouver au pt dej le super fromage frais des Açores ;-) dont on raffolait pendant notre séjour. L’éclairage est un peu limite et 1 seule lampe de chevet présente.Manque d’étagères dans la sdb ainsi le robinet flottant ( nécessitant une réparation). Le manque de tasse , assiette, couvert si vous y loger à plus que 2. Les prix du minibar. La cabane est petite pour une famille.

Adoramos a experiência! Gostávamos de ter ficado mais tempo neste pequeno paraíso. Simpatia dos funcionários, em especial da Carla sempre pronta a ajudar com tudo. O pequeno almoço incrível, o quarto muito confortável rodeado de natureza e a piscina tornam este espaço num paraíso perfeito para relaxar e aproveitar o tempo na ilha!!

Bellissimo contesto in mezzo alla natura. Vicino a Biscoitos , dove puoi andare a fare un bagno nell’oceano. Casa appoggiata su un albero , con finestre avanti e dietro sulla foresta e balconcino con affaccio sull’oceano. Possibilità di stare in piscina con sdraio. Colazione super con vista oceano . Lo staff veramente disponibile e gentile . Ti aiutano sempre se hai bisogno. Pulizie della stanza tutti i giorni. La struttura ha anche un parcheggio e il Wi-Fi .

Stanza un po’ piccola per soggiorni lunghi. Armadio un po’ piccolino, non sai dove mettere i vestiti. I bagagli, se alloggi negli ultimi lodge in alto sono un po’ scomodi da portare.

We had a fantastic stay at Caparica Azores Ecolodge. The host, Carla, was incredibly warm, friendly and helpful. She provided us with all the information we needed. The small resort is surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the lovely pool and the delicious breakfast each morning. We stayed in the house, which I highly recommend for families with two or more children, or a group of friends.

This place was absolutely beautiful. The staff were very kind, polite, and always available. Everything was excellent, and I highly recommend everyone to try staying here.

The breakfast was a selection of everything I love to eat. There was fresh squeezed orange juice, fruits, breads, cereal s, Amazing coffees of your choice, and eggs made any style. The hosts was friendly and helpful with all things asked. Can’t get over the wonderful sound of the birds everywhere.

I didn’t like the old taxi driver that dropped me off. Made the woman walk out of her way further to carry my heavy suitcase. It’s called old world chauvinism!

Secluded peaceful spot, surrounded by forest. It's a bit like I imagine glamping. The breakfast with local delicacies and the views were impressive. Eco-friendly and fairly-tale like scenery.

Bathrooms: The lodge is small, and the bathroom has no door. The shower has a milky glass wall facing the rest of the room. Not the best setup if you value privacy.

I decided to treat myself for my birthday in what looks like a fantastic place bonded with nature and I was in a great mood when I arrived. The structure is actually charming, merged into nature and nicely designed. The breakfast is great, very complete and satisfying. It could basically be considered a brunch.

The breakfast is the only food you can get there. Drinks for pay at the minibar, not even water is provided free. Considering that the only restaurant in the area is 35 minute walking down a slope and closes early, it’s very inconvenient. It would make a huge difference to just have fresh water at disposal and the possibility to order some of the delicious food available at breakfast for the evening. Also, be sure to memorize the position and the name of your unit because it isn’t on the keys and at nigh, even thou it’s illuminated, it’s tricky to get which is yours. Bonding with nature and needing to jump on a car for anything is a contrast and there are no slow mobility option other then your own legs. Buses are very scarce, no taxis or possibility to rent on place. No pick-up, transfers or any help are offered. Great nature and hikes are available in the area but you won’t get any useful information from the structures. No maps, no links, no precise insight, no planned activities. You are on your own. Carefully prepare yourself before arriving or you will be lost. I only managed to orientate and know how to reach the attractions thanks to a great smartphone app. Finally, communication with the property is erratic. For unclear reasons, you are supposed to join a WhatsApp group, which I find unnecessary and irritating. If you don’t you are out. Receptions times are strict and no flexibility or options are given. All the answer you will get for any request will start with a “you should have” and a reminder of the reception opening hours. Blame on you. A few, silly and common efforts would have made a huge difference and made my stay amazing but, unfortunately, my personal experience was just bad.
