O quarto cheirava um pouco a bolor, mas acredito que, por Peniche ser uma cidade extremamente úmida, não é possível evitar totalmente.

Reviewed Apr 4, 2026Die Unterkunft liegt sehr Nahe am Busbahnhof, sodass man mit den ÖPNV wunderbar unterwegs sein kann. Für die Unterhaltung am Abend steht der Billiardtisch, Kickertisch, Trampolin, etc. gratis zur Verfügung. Zwar etwas oll aber funktioniert. Das Frühstück reicht aus. Für den Preis hätte ich nichts anderes erwartet. Für Familien mit Kids super Unterkunft.
Das Abwaschen war nicht prickelnd.

Reviewed Mar 10, 2026We were displaced from our home by storm Kristin so this was a welcome retreat. Great amenities outside the room in the shared areas. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and the price was around about where it should be.
Tried multiple times to have a hot shower and it never got better than luke warm. Did ask reception and they said it would be hot at other times. I didn’t find these other times. Would have scored a 9 without this issue.

We had the studio, and the kitchen was very poorly equipped. Not even bowls for cereals and also nothing to make coffee. So that was a bit disappointing. It also didn't have a window beyond the main entrance door, and the bathroom was tiny and a bit rundown. One also has to actively request new towels/toilet paper; otherwise, they don't come into the room.

The rooms were too small. There was no space to put our clothes or hang up our towels. In the kitchen, the dishes had to be dried with hand towels, which wasn't ideal from a hygiene perspective. Also, there was no bath mat in the shower.

O pequeno almoço custou 7 euros por dia e tinha muita variedade e bom sabor. As áreas comuns do hostel são ótimas, e bom volume de casas de banho e chuveiro.
Fiquei em um quarto com 4 camas e achei muito abafado e apertado. Por não ter ventilador ou ar condicionado, precisei dormir com a janela aberta e, além do barulho externo durante a noite, muitos mosquitos entraram no quarto.

The hostel offers a lot of activities I couldn’t take part in since I stayed for only one night. The common areas are big and very nice. The bed was clean and comfortable. I slept like a baby! I totally recommend this location!

The position is perfect. The hostel is situated in the centre, just 10 minutes walk from the bus station and pretty much everything.

Reviewed Dec 19, 2025The staff is phenomenal and the hostel itself is the same. Bright colors to brighten your mood with plenty of activities to keep you entertained. Peniche is a surf destination that can't be missed just minutes from the beach. During this time of year December it's a bit colder so make sure you dress a bit warmer due to the hostel not having heat. It's not freezing a good coat or sweater will do the trick for most. This was a returning visit not much has changed in quality so that's always a plus.

Habitaciones sin calefacción y llenas de humedad, todo el día mojadas, casi nos resbalamos en varias ocasiones, encima con dos niños... Lo comentamos en recepción y nos dijeron que en Peniche todas las casas son así por el clima que hay... No lo veo una justificación, la verdad, porque todos los sitios de playa tienen humedad y jamás encontré en otro lugar una habitación en éstas condiciones. El primer día no nos limpiaron la habitación, supongo que sería un fallo por parte del personal, no lo sé.. Lo dijimos en recepción y al día siguiente si lo hicieron. Habitaciones muy simples y reducidas, sin equipacion alguna, ni armario, ni baldas para poner las cosas, sólo un cacho mueble pequeñito en el que no entraban ni las maletas. El baño super pequeño con una ducha minúscula y sin una percha para poner las toallas... Las zonas comunes con muchas cosas para hacer vida social y jugar con los niños pero tiene un aspecto descuidado.

Man fühlt sich sofort WILLKOMMEN ( noch mal ein Dankeschön an Ricardo), der vibe des gesamten Hostels ( einmalig), die suuuuper heißen Duschen ( ebenfalls einmalig für ein hostel) und die sehr guten Betten im dorm ( mit den guten Vorhängen absolut lichtundurchlässig und auch ein wenig geräuschdämpfend!
