My stays at The Harpeth are always amazing! The property is beautiful, warm and inviting,the staff is so helpful and care for your every need. The rooms are spacious,clean and quiet. I always use the valet parking for ease of mind that my vehicle is well cared for. The attendents are very quick and friendly. Brett was super helpful this morning loading all of my packages from overshopping in the square. Unfortunately I failed to get the name of the young lady valet who assisted me on my arrival. She was also super helpful. I'm ready to book my next stay!

A huge shout out to Ivory & Stephanie at the Harpeth in Franklin, TN. I was in need of a quiet area to take a zoom call with an executive while on vacation and they accommodated my request by suggesting a great spot located at the back of the building with little to no interruptions. Oh, did I mention I wasn’t even staying or scheduled to stay at the Harpeth…just simply walked in and asked if they had an area I could utilize for 45 minutes. In my 40+ years of traveling, that is amazing and top notch customer service. Well done Ivory and Stephanie and if my travels ever take me to Franklin, you can count on me staying at your hotel!

We celebrated our 34th Anniversary this weekend at this WONDERFUL HOTEL!!! The location is SUPERB and our stay was quite delightful. We ate at the 1799 Restaurant in the Hotel and it was EXCELLENT. We enjoyed drinks in the Lobby each night and was surprised by complimentary Champagne on Friday afternoon. The bed slept GREAT and we can’t wait to return.

Maverick was a great host, and Reilly was an amazing server. Food was amazing as was the presentation.

We have traveled the world, and owned 5 restaurants in Chicago. Our server, Riley, at 1799 Restaurant was exceptional & professional and made the whole evening very enjoyable!

The property is well maintained, clean, and visually appealing.

Enjoyable stay. Sat in the bar and listened to singer perform wide range of music before dinner. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Quiet. Only complaint is that the bathroom lighting is very, very poor. Difficult to apply make up. Had coffee and a roll in the delightful cafe on the first floor in the morning.

The last couple of times at this hotel have been disappointing. Last night topped the cake. The hotel needs a good cleaning or updated. The carpet has rolls in it and stains. The room had been cleaned at but wasn’t fresh and clean like the rooms once were. The young man who brought our car to us this morning wasn’t the pleasant young men that once helped. He handed my key fob to me and proceeded to continue whatever conversation he was having on his text messages on his phone. No helping with my bags, no good day, just short. Last night I called the front desk to ask for a couple bottles of water. The front desk seemed irritated by my request and told me that hopefully they could find someone to bring me some. It never arrived. For what this hotel costs per night, they really need to find that southern hospitality that they once had.

The Harpeth is a cute boutique hotel with friendly staff and great food! The restaurant and bar are actual hang-out spots for locals, which speaks to how good they are. We enjoyed the drinks and a pizza while chatting at the bar. We stayed in a standard room with 2 queens. It was clean, upgraded, and the AC was very cold! TV had several streaming services to log into. Robes were provided, which was a nice touch. Nightly turndown service was a highlight. The location of The Harpeth is absolutely perfect. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Huge tip - park in the parking garage across the street if you don't need valet. It's free!

Disappointing room! I have stayed at The Harpeth about 3 times prior to this stay and always enjoyed my stay. This time was different. We requested a single king room. First thing that I noticed was the bed size. It looked way closer to a queen. As I was standing there looking at it, our friends called (previous hotel owners) and said that they received a queen bed as well. When I called downstairs to check, I was told they were kings. Smallest king beds that I’ve seen. Next issue, the closet! First of all it is an extremely small closet to begin with but they took a small chest(2 drawers and a safe) and put it in the middle of this tiny closet. There was just a very small area on either side of the chest to hang your clothes! Why? There was plenty of room on the tv wall to put a small chest. I am dumbfounded!The bathroom and the closet both use a big sliding door( barn door). Our door would barely slide because it looks like there has been a water leak ( not a new one ) from the shower. The paint is flaking off, little pieces of wood are coming off because the wall is swelling and therefore making it extremely hard to slide the door. Has no one (housekeeping?) noticed this? It has obviously been an issue for a while. And while I wouldn’t say the room was DIRTY, it wasn’t overly clean either. There was no bottled water in the room. I don’t mind at all to be charged for that. I later noticed that they had a glass bottle you could take to a water station to fill up for your room. I’m not thrilled to be using a water bottle that is reused for the room. I am usually a person who writes very positive reviews about places and experiences,but I just couldn’t let this pass. I will say that the staff out front who deal with the cars and luggage were delightful. So friendly and helpful, as well as the restaurant and bar staff. Five stars to both of those areas.

This is truly the best hotel in the area. From driving up to the front door for the valet parking to the door being open for me being led directly to the person I needed to see quick check-in. A very comfortable room, nice beds and a balcony, turn down service. The works, everything was top notch.

We spent three nights and didn't want to leave! Quiet, comfortable, friendly and beautiful! Wouldn't hesitate to return!

I didn’t sleep at all! Even with earplugs! The elevator noise is so loud and won’t STOP!!! I even took sleeping pills. I don’t understand with such a beautiful hotel they would have the loudest elevators! We have stayed in some not so great hotels for our son’s baseball trips and never heard the elevator this bad! Husband asked me “would you come back to his hotel?” Yes, but as far away from the elevator as possible!! Did I mention we are in a suite and with rates so high this should not happen.

Just 2 weeks ago my family and I spent a long weekend at the Harpeth Hotel in Franklin, TN celebrating the wedding of our daughter. The rehearsal dinner was at the Harpeth in the courtyard. I felt like I was in an Italian villa. So pretty!! Kimberly and Molly were so helpful with the accommodations for our out of town guests and the planning of the event. They were both on hand that night overseeing the event. We had a wonderful wedding and a wonderful weekend!! Everyone was so nice and so accommodating from the moment we got there starting with James and Bryson who valet parked our car all weekend. Then Dan the doorman welcomed us in with professionalism and humor. A great combination. Inside we met Autumn, Anna and Lauren working at the reception desk. They were all so friendly and polite and knew us by name by the time we left. Throughout the weekend I would meet Terry in the lobby where we chatted about how great the food was at the cafe, or what a great town Franklin is. Great shopping and eating within walking distance from the Harpeth. I will definitely stay here again. The beds were so comfortable, and the maid service was excellent, very clean. The Harpeth was a very pleasant place to stay near the Franklin downtown activity. The food in the 1799 Bar and restaurant was really nice along with being able to dine in the courtyard. Rooms were well taken care of and quite. Even our favorite car valet person, Brett, was so kind and informative of some activities to partake in while visiting. All in all it was a good experience and we would recommend The Harpeth to friends and family when visiting! Kay C.

We have stayed at The Harpeth a total of 4 times. It has been a wonderful experience every time. The restaurant 1799 is superb. I highly recommend staying at The Harpeth if you're going to Nashville area.

I did not have breakfact but the location is really good, right in downtown and easy to walk around.

The overnight parking cost seems high and could be a little less. I wish the bar would stay open longer than 10pm

We had a great stay at The Harpeth and would rate it five stars overall. The property itself is charming and well-located on a quieter stretch of 2nd Avenue, which made it feel a bit removed from the busier areas while still being very convenient. The lobby strikes a nice balance—warm, comfortable, and slightly elevated without trying too hard. The staff across the board were consistently excellent, which really stood out. Valet (James, Jackson, Brycen, Ben, and Brett) were efficient, friendly, and easy to work with throughout the stay. The doormen, Dan and Alan, set a great tone immediately—welcoming, helpful with bags, and genuinely pleasant every time we came and went. The front desk setup is a nice change from the typical large counter—it feels more personal. Emily, Susan, Autumn, and Ivory were all great during our stay. Emily in particular helped us resolve a booking issue ahead of arrival quickly and without any hassle, which we really appreciated. Natalie, who assisted us at checkout, was equally professional and easy to work with. Claudia and Rebecca from housekeeping were wonderful—very kind, and clearly great with guests (and dogs—our bulldog was a big fan). The bar and restaurant (1799) were a highlight. The space itself is well done—cozy, a little moody, but still modern. The bourbon display is impressive, and the cocktail list is solid. Judah, Corey, Billie, and Caleb behind the bar were personable and attentive, and kept things running smoothly. Ashley and Bell on the floor were equally strong—Ashley especially stood out as someone who is both attentive and naturally engaging without overdoing it. Food was genuinely excellent. The four cheese pizza and the gnocchi (with burrata and mushrooms) were standouts, and desserts—especially the apple pie and carrot cake—were clearly made in-house and worth ordering. The Caesar salad was also notable, with thoughtful details like fried capers and boquerones. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had a balcony with seating, which was a nice bonus. The bathroom was spotless and well stocked, and it was refreshing to have a proper number of hangers (rare, but appreciated). The TV setup was also well done—you can log into your own streaming services, and HBO plus standard channels are included, which makes it easy to unwind. We also had breakfast at McGavock’s—Shannon took great care of us and made the experience easy and enjoyable. A few other small things worth noting: fresh towels arrived in under five minutes when requested, there’s a well-stocked 24-hour shop (including wine available until midnight), and the staff were consistently helpful with local recommendations. The hotel is also genuinely dog-friendly. While dogs aren’t allowed inside the dining areas (understandably), the courtyard is a great option—nicely lit, comfortable, and you can have full dinner service there with your dog, which is a great touch. Overall, this is a place where the staff really elevate the experience. It’s a well-run property with a strong food and beverage program, and the service level makes it stand out.

Whether I go by myself or with friends, Jackson and James always make me feel welcome and cared for! It’s nice to know there are nice guys out there!

Autumn and Miss Coco were FABULOUS on check in! We had traveled in from the red eye flight from the west coast prior to check in. Autumn, Miss Coco, and the stateroom attendant, Gloria, had everything perfect! We were able to do an earlier check in than “normal” and made our experience totally next level. Just amazing! Have stayed here several times and each time, has been superb!

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of historic downtown Franklin. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The shower was huge! Like, walk-closet huge! Within a very short walking distance of many great restaurants. Staff was super friendly, helpful and accommadating. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

We had a great experience here. The hotel is in a great location for walking around town. We were most impressed with the staff from management to front desk. Especially, Ivory at guest services. So kind, helpful and professional. She set the tone for our whole stay. So rare to find people who truly love what they do and are good at it.

Perfect location in the middle of everything, with Main Street’s shops and restaurants just a short walk away. The lobby has comfortable seating tucked into different corners, and the live music in the evenings gives it a relaxed, welcoming feel. The staff were genuinely friendly and made me feel at home throughout the stay.

What a beautiful stay, we stayed six nights. We were treated very well. They decorate beautifully for Christmas and we brought in a new year there also..

My spouse and I stayed at The Harpeth back in January, and although the hotel is beautiful, the customer service we received was not as great as we expected. The staff at the time wasn't as warm and welcoming and didn't acknowledge my status with the brand. This time around, ALL the staff was absolutely amazing, especially Ivory. Ivory apologized for our previous experience and went above and beyond to make up for it, with empathetic actions and superb customer service. We will definitely be back!

The bourbon experience at Harpeth Hotel with Dan was outstanding! Dan was such a great host for the tasting! If you get a chance during you stay, it is worth your time. Dan in personable and very entertaining!

We attended an event there at the Harpeth. We love the hotel and recommend it to friends who come and visit us in Franklin. What really consistently impresses us is the level of service from the servers, bar tenders, front desk and of course the valet car service as parking can be problematic in the area during events and nights. Shout out to Jackson and Addison who were courteous and professional! Even had our car ready before we even asked!

Back AGAIN to my favorite place to celebrate the Holiday season! I honestly can’t say enough about how nice this hotel is……wonderful staff, oh so comfortable beds & beautiful Christmas decorations. The town of Franklin is like “walking into Christmas of the past” with its historic sites and southern charm. Take my advise and just go experience it during the Holiday season! Oh, and last but not least…………be sure and eat breakfast (at the hotel) at McGavock’s and try the Lemon Blueberry Pancakes. They are open until 3pm and you can even eat them for lunch. I promise THEY are the BEST pancakes you will ever eat! I would also like to give Terri Woods, the manager of McGavock’s a BIG thank YOU for helping me celebrate too! We will be back soon :)

Stayed here on a holiday shopping trip to the area. Franklin is such a charming town and has such great food and shopping. The Harpeth Hotel is beyond luxurious. Well appointed, with that warm Southern-polish vibe that makes you feel like you've wandered into someone's impeccably designed home instead of a hotel. Our room was oversized, spotless, and honestly one of the most comfortable I've stayed in. The staff couldn't have been kinder. Eager to help at every turn. GM Justin was also great. Everyone I interacted with was genuinely welcoming and seemed to really take pride in the property. Perfect location, beautiful property, great service - can't recommend it enough. I'll absolutely be back next time I'm in Franklin.

Our team recently used The Harpeth as our home base while hosting a large executive event at nearby Southall, and the support we received from the staff truly made all the difference. We encountered a few early challenges with our room block, but the front desk team immediately stepped in with so much care and patience. Autumn, especially, went above and beyond — she sat with my colleague and I for well over an hour, walking through every confirmation number and making sure each member of our group was fully taken care of. Her kindness, thoroughness, and genuine desire to help made a world of difference and really set the tone for the rest of our stay. Throughout the week, we continued to experience that same exceptional level of hospitality. The valet team, especially Benjamin and Timothy, recognized our team instantly each day, helped us with parking, and were incredibly generous with their time as we loaded and unloaded boxes for our event. The sales team, Kimberly and Mollie, handled an unexpected influx of packages with such grace, and Natalee and Susan at the front desk were consistently warm and helpful anytime we needed something. And Jason from the food and beverage team even jumped in to help us track down some missing boxes. While our week was centered around a major event, the Harpeth team made all the behind-the-scenes logistics feel so much easier and lighter. We’re genuinely grateful for the care, responsiveness, and above-and-beyond effort from so many people — with a very special appreciation for Autumn, whose support truly anchored the entire experience.

We are so grateful to Autumn W. Who took amazing care of us during our Harpeth stay. She went above and beyond, ensuring we were completely comfortable and had every amenity at our disposal. She provided us with an upgraded room, champagne, chocolate, and a hand written card for our anniversary celebration. We had such a wonderful stay we are considering this a wedding block location in 2027. The hotel is beautiful and thoughtfully curated, in an excellent location and luxe in every sense. This is one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had! From the room, the food, ease of use, and especially the staff!! Sarena (the manager) personally meet w us at our table. She made sure all of our needs were met. Our server, Jeff, was outstanding!! The total experience was 5 star. Thank you so much for making the end of our vacation perfect!!

What an amazing experience from the moment we pulled up. The ambiance is incredible, check-in smooth and pleasant. The rooms are beautiful and very spacious. Our dinner at 1799 was delicious and the service was top notch. The recommendations from Serena were spot on and our server Jeff was very engaging. We can’t wait to come back. In fact we stayed on Sunday before driving to see friends and decided to spend our last night In Tennessee back at The Harpeth Downtown Franklin Curio Hilton spoke nice we enjoyed our stay so much.

The Hotel was beautiful and the rooms were even better. We had a small problem and Lauren with Guest Services took care of the problem the first night and it was great. Way to go Lauren! We loved the hotel, the staff, everything. Right in downtown Franklin and we will certainly go back.

We had a great experience with Serena the restaurant manager, Dan the bourbon host on Wednesday evening and really everyone in the hotel. They all were extremely helpful and friendly! We travel a lot and this place hits on many levels. Our room was super clean and spacious, we loved that you could walk down the hall and get sparkling water and ice. It was also nice that we had a complimentary nespresso machine with our favorite coffee!!

An extremely well run facility, with friendly, courteous, professional, customer oriented staff. But the accommodations are design more for aesthetics than for comfort and function. For instance, the only storage found in a double queen room was two small drawers in a closet. And there was really no comfortable place to sit. And no working desk with a power outlet. The only place to sit in the room is a small, very uncomfortable,4 foot long sofa.

Good location and a lovely modern hotel

Check in time was 4pm (which is ridiculous in itself considering how much you are paying) but the room wasn’t ready until 4:30pm. Not ideal when you have been driving for hours in 30 degree heat and want to freshen up before seeing the town. Plus parking is $50

We loved this hotel! Everyone who worked there was nice, the hotel was clean, rooms were a great size, balcony was a bonus! The robes were really nice as well and the layout and size of the bathroom was great. Doesn't seem like there are a lot of choices in Franklin, but the Harpeth was great!

We had an absolutely amazing experience during our staycation @ the Harpeth. After having to cancel our babymoon in Charleston we decided to book a short stay at the hotel where we had our rehearsal dinner (also an amazing experience). When we told Susan at the front desk how we ended up booking our stay she upgraded us to a nicer room at no charge and recommended a ton of options. Absolutely top of the line service and experience!

Here on a girls trip. Best part of our experience was a couple staff members. Lainey at the bar was FANTASTIC! Kind, friendly, and fun and can make a great drink!! Autumn was also super helpful and courteous, always wanting to correct wrongs and make us feel welcome. Customer service was excellent except for bar manager. No customer service whatsoever!
