The area

As like is it mention in the other bad reviews, the staff not really friendly. The bathroom are not very clean. Did make a booking for 2 people obviously if you don’t pay the fees of 5€ they don’t put you in the same room. There is a kitchen, which is good but without cutlery or plates, as a hostel doesn’t make sense. The beds are not comfortable at all. The only positive is the location. It’s worth it to pay little bite extra money and go somewhere else.

The hostel is at a good location, walking distance to so many attractions. The bed was comfortable and each bed as it's own locker which can easily fit a good size suitcase with a backpack. They give you a clean towel and soap upon arrival and the room and private bathroom was very clean for a 4 bed dorm room.

It seemed like the staff felt bothered to answer the guests. Everytime you leave the hostel you have to leave your room and locker key which I found odd. I understand in the past keys might have been lost but as this meant everytime.I walked in and walked out I had to adresse the staff who were not so helpful, this just seems like it could be avoided. I also couldn't enter the shower as the entrance to the shower is less then a foot wide. When asked if there were other showers (shared on the highest level) they are the same showers. So I had to settle for being half in the shower and half out, which luckily one roommate had left his towel after check out, I was able to whipe the water from the floor. I am not considered overweight but definetly felt like it.

I got rashes bc of the insects , the staff was not helpful rather ignorant . Toilets didn’t even hv basic hand wash facility.

The location

The location is good, but the hostel has several issues: the room AC was not working properly, the bed quality was not good, and they didn't even made the bed. In sum, the room structure is not so good.

De keuken was echt vies, met name de koelkast. De volgende dag was mijn yoghurt verdwenen. Net echt hulpvaardig hierover.

La ubicación no estaba mal, porque la zona era buena, y podíamos ir andando a 30 min al centro o coger bus. El desayuno estaba incluido pero solo había café o té, y un croissant que no estaba muy allá para estar en Italia.

En relación calidad precio es muy caro para lo que realmente pagas, encima si te guardan la mochila también te cobran 5 euros por mochila, la cisterna del baño estaba pillada y no iba bien, y el rodapié del baño se movía y caía.

The staff were very pleasant, the location is awesome, it was clean and the beds are comfortable. The garden is very nice.

Both nights - no warm water. The rooms are very easy to break in, if a person wants to do so. Lockers can be closed, the door are basically just a piece of plastic that can be entered from outside without much fuss, honestly.

Camera pulita e sufficientemente spaziosa. Ogni letto è dotato di luce, armadio con chiave personale e presa elettrica.

Purtroppo la colazione è servita solo a partire dalle 9, quindi chi ha intenzione di uscire presto al mattino non può usufruirne.

La camera è bella, ma fa davvero troppo freddo perché il climatizzatore è impostato a 17 °C e non c’è nemmeno un dispositivo per regolare la temperatura dell’aria condizionata. Questo mi ha fatto ammalare a causa del freddo. Inoltre, nella doccia non c’è acqua calda.

Good location

They charged me 10 euros for late check in despite the fact that I did it online and had already asked them about extra fees and they said there would be no fee if check in online. Also charged me 5 euros to keep my baggage in the room. Breakfast is a joke here, don't pay for it.

Muy buena ubicación, reservamos una habitación de 4 con baño privado y estuvimos muy cómodas. El desayuno es una infusión y un corneto, bien. Estás a menos de 10 minutos del coliseo y cerca de la estación termini, queda cómodo. La zona para caminar de noche se sintió segura. El par de pelados de recepción unos genios ! Muy amables.

Falta un poco de limpieza en espacios comunes como la cocina. Los colchones un poco blandos, podrían renovarlos.

Good location.

Very poor kitchen - no cutlery or kettle, very dirty. Rooms were large but bathroom was quite unclean. Charged €10 for late check in despite offering 24 hour reception. Some staff were very unfriendly.

Es muy centrado para conocer lo histórico de roma, las habitaciones son bonitas y comodas.

la atención de los staff es pesima, para hacer el check in me tuvieron esperando 1 hora por que el staff (calvo y con barba) estaba comiendo sandwich y segun el no podía atenderme, a parte no me dieron tour por la instalaciones

El hostel esta muy bien ubicado, las habitaciones son amplias y comodas, el colchon un poco gastado, pero en general todo muy bien.

Ho comprato 1 bottiglietta d’acqua presa dal frigo: era aperta!!! Me ne sono accorta una volta in camera e ovviamente non l’ho bevuta. Bagni usurati e poco puliti. Ventola in camera che non si può spegnere. Colazione pronta dopo le 9! Tardissimo. Costosissimo per quanto vale. Il giusto prezzo sarebbe la meta di quanto ho pagato. Non torneremo più. Sconsigliato.

Çalışanlar çok ilgiliydi, Türk olduğumu öğrenince Türkçe konuştular benimle :) Konum olarak harikaydı, yatakları ve yastıkları çok rahattı sadece yanınızda çarşaf götürmeyi unutmayın.

Sadece 2 kişilik oda da ben kadın olduğum için denk gelen kişilerinde kadın olmasını isterdim, ama herhangi bir sorun yaşamadım

A localização é boa. Com um pouco de disposição se pode conhecer os principais pontos turísticos a pé. O hostel é bem grande, tem um jardim e oferece um café com Croissant. Os quartos são amplos e bem refrigerado.

Fiquei na cama de cima e a escada é bem ingime. Falta um pouco de privacidade, uma cortina ajudaria muito, sobretudo nos quartos mistos. A manutenção deixou um pouco a desejar pois a descarga do banheiro estava quebrada e vazava água todo o tempo, uma hora a água entrou para o quarto e fui obrigada a pedir um pano na recepção para secar o quarto.

O quarto que fiquei tinham camas com colchão aparentemente novos e travesseiros bem macios. Não tive nenhum problema com barulho ou perturbação a noite. Sono tranquilo!

Senti falta apenas de uma chaleira na área da cozinha, que por sinal não tem um aspecto muito bom.

The shower leaks and has mold. There aren't enough shelves in the bathroom to put my things on. Breakfast was included in the price, but it wasn’t served until 10 a.m., which makes it hard to plan the day. It would be great to have it earlier or to know the breakfast schedule in advance so I wouldn’t have to base my plans around it. I never actually made it to breakfast because I was already out in the city by that time.

I can not say nothing good about this place.

WiFi doesn’t really works, not hot water, shower areas looks dirty. There is no doors in the rooms, just a plastic curtain that are broken, ones even with type. As a female travel alone I felt insecure, I asked for a different room and I was told it was beyond my budget by Fabritzio (a Peruvian man at the reception) do not give me the price. There is a lot of other places!!! I didn’t stay in this place and they refused to do a refund DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

The reception staff were friendly, and the room was very reasonably priced.

I wanted to buy coffee from the reception, but the staff member wouldn't sell it to me; aside from that, there were no issues, but this is a shortcoming for a hotel.

La propiedad está limpia, tiene aire acondicionado y funciona bien, tiene un patio hermoso para disfrutar, hay para leer algunos libros, incluyó el desayuno (un café y una factura ) hay wifi, y el personal me atendió muy bien y me hablaron en español, incluso me dieron la habitación un rato antes del horario del check in porque ya estaba limpia y en condiciones.

Location was great for the price, easy to walk everywhere we needed. The staff were very friendly, and I liked that they keep your keys at the desk while out so you can’t lose them. The architecture is stunning.

Unfortunately there were a few things we did not like about the property, the air conditioning vent was falling out of the wall, and did actually fall. There was garbage in the room when we arrived, I let them know about it and yet 4 days later it was still there. The bathroom had mold in it, and the outlet to charge on bed 4 was literally coming out of the wall and didn’t have a small shelf with a light like the others did. In the end I wish they would take care of the little things a bit better.

Alem de tudo vc nao consegue nem comprar uma água la se tiver morrendo de sede pois a maquina deles estva com problema, o periodo inteiro da estadia com problema, eles sabem e nao fazem nada, ai vc tem quem correr atras de dinheiro vivo não sei aonde e ficando refém das taxas e pagam ainda mais caro, um absurdo. Alem de tudo a wi fi que dizem oferecer não funciona!

Die Hostelzimmer waren sehr schön und das Hostel zeichnet sich besonders durch den schönen Hinterhof aus. Auch die Badezimmer waren sehr schön.

Eine absolute Frechheit ist , dass man für die Gepäckaufgabe 5 € bezahlt. Ich habe so etwas im Hostel noch nie erlebt. Das ist eine absolute Frechheit. Eine Gepäckaufgabe war in jedem Hostel frei dort nicht. Die Hostelmitarbeiter waren sehr unfreundlich nachdem das Internet nicht ging fragte ich den zuständigen Mitarbeiter der darauf antwortete. Was kann ich tun?. Sehr enttäuschend. Auch der Umgang ist unfreundlich und nicht sehr herzlich. Auf Hilfe kann man in diesem Hostel verzichten. Es gibt in Rom viele Hostels ohne 5 € Gepäckaufgabe zuzahlen und mit freundlicherem Personal. Das Personal behandelt einen mehr oder weniger als neutralen zahlenden Gast weiter nichts. Das Internet lief den ganzen Aufenthalt nicht und die Preisleistungsverhältnis passt gar nicht. Ich habe extra kein low budget hostel gebucht. Der Umgang besonders durch die Frontdesk Mitarbeiter war sehr enttäuschend.

Honestly nothing except leaving this place.

I was staying in a "room" on the last floor. For me it's not a room regarding the fact that there wasn't even a real door that could be locked with a key. It was just a bunch of small areas closed by a sliding kind of door in pastic using a door latch. It did'nt feel secure or nice at all. The whole floor, bathroom included, was just dirty and I've never seen anyone cleaning it. And regarding the fact that the stains everywhere on the floor was there during my whole stay that make complete sense. The kitchen and fridges were so unclean i didn't feel secure to ever use it once. Seriously one of the worst hostel i've ever stayed in anywhere in the world. I would'nt go there if i knew it beforehand. I would never go back or recommand anyone to go there at all. The staff wasn't really nice or even helpfull. I complained that it was too cold because the AC was always on 18°C and the guy told me to just sleep with a blanket on. Sure they are renting some... yeah cause all they care about is your money. Everything is for rent there and they will charge you even for keeping your luggage there for less than 2 hours before your check in. Seriously that place is a joke !

Good distance from city centre

The biggest issue for me was the door lock — it was just a simple hook/chain and there was no proper way to lock the room from the outside, which made me feel very unsafe. I was staying in a mixed room with only two beds, and as a solo female traveller I really didn’t feel comfortable being alone in the room with one male guest, especially with such poor security. When I asked the receptionist about the lock and explained that I didn’t feel safe, his response was simply, “Welcome to the hostel world,” said with a lot of attitude. I don’t think this is an appropriate way to respond to a guest who is raising a genuine safety concern. The hostel itself was okay for the price, but the security and the way my concern was handled really disappointed me.

Limpieza terrible, tiraron mis cosas de la heladera compradas el dia anterior, embolsadas y etiquetadas. Me cobraron 25 USD de late checkout cuando intente comunicarme 5 veces y el tel no les funciona. No hay platos ni cubiertos en la cocina, el desayuno super escaso, en fin! El olor a humedad de las habitaciones es terrible, podria dar muchos otros ejemplos. NO LO RECOMIENDO

La ubicación era muy buena, cerca del coliseo y rione monti, así que tenías todo a mano para ir y venir. Además la zona donde esta ubicado, aunque es un poco oscura por la noche, es muy segura. La habitación estaba muy bien, era amplia al igual que los lockers, y el baño privado era muy cómodo. Estaba todo super limpio, y veías gente limpiando todo el tiempo

La cocina. No se mantenía limpia (no exigían a los huéspedes, y tampoco se encargaban de limpiarla todo lo que correspondía) y además no tenía nada para que pudieras comer. Si bien tenía muchísimos utensilios para cocinar, no había platos, vasos ni cubiertos, lo cual volvía todo muy complicado (compré comida ni bien llegué porque la cocina parecía bien equipada, y la tuve que dejar en la heladera sin poder usarla porque no había con qué comer). Si bien me explicaron los motivos, deberían advertirte de alguna manera para que al menos uno no gaste dinero de entrada en cosas que no va a poder cocinar. El patio era lindo para estar a la noche, cuando se ponía un poco más fresco, pero le faltaba algo de mantenimiento. Igualmente, el balance es más que positivo.

Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren sehr nett, Verständindigung auf Englisch war gut möglich, es gab einen sicheren Abstellraum für mein Fahrrad, die Zimmer sind klimatisiert und es gibt abschließbare Gepäckfächer im Zimmer.

Nicht alle Gäste haben die Küche nach Benutzung sauber hinterlassen - ich kann aber nicht abschätzen, wie sehr darauf von Seiten des Personals geachtet wurde.

O quarto estava limpo com cama relativamente confortável e roupas de cama limpas . Os armários/ lockers são grandes e cabem os pertencentes com chaves individuais.

O banheiro não estava limpo , não havia papel higiênico pela manhã , as toalhas de banho oferecidas parecem de rosto , são bem pequenas , os funcionários não são tão simpáticos, mas aceitável .

It was walking distance to the colleseum and close to Metro and bus stops so it was easily accessible.

The staff were rude. They were not welcoming. Additionally, they had an attitude of "go away". There w6ere no soap in the bathrooms, they said it's not included in the price of the rooms!!!! Ok, no soap for shower is fine. But no soap for hand wash? That's basic hygiene. If hostels are against promoting hygiene among young travelers, they shouldn't be given a license to run a hostel. The temperature in the room was 21C from wall mounted ac units. While that can be comfortable for most men, all of us in the room, 2m1w, were all cold. When I asked to increase the temperature they refused and said that it was standard in all rooms and they can't do anything about it. When I asked for a blanket, they said that's available only in winter times. So basically, they did not care about my comfort, they just didn't want to be bothered. They just wanted me to "go away".

The staff was nice.

We got private room. Get charged for everything. Everything. Arriving early extra charge per person. The room was already ready. Got towels for “free”; they were hand towels and two soaps. Nothing else. You have to leave the keys at the front desk. They also charge you to store your luggage 5€ pero bag in cash. Shower was extremely small and kinda broken. The air condition keep the room colder but not less than 24º.

Great location to stay in Rome. The front desk staff were nice and friendly.

The room is clean, but the door has no safety lock; it just has a metal lock and a clip to seal. Even complained about the washroom with a defective door lock and didn't work, but it was not given attention.

This felt like a hotel. It was so modern, so nicely done up, and so clean. The rooms of 4 are actually rooms of 2, the bathrooms are huuuuge and so nice. This was by far one of the most excellent hostels I’ve stayed in. Highly recommend.

The street felt a bit dodgy at night sometimes.

Banheiros poderiam ser limpos com mais frequência. Além disso, a falta de um tapete fazia parte do chão ficar molhada sempre que duas ou mais pessoas terminavam de tomar banho.

La habitación no tenía aire acondicionado lo que dificultaba la vida en la habitación, sobre todo por la noche. Se lo hice saber al personal de recepción, con la opción de poder cambiar de habitación con aire acondicionado a lo que me dijeron que no era posible, cuando en Booking si había dicha disponibilidad. Solo estuve una noche por lo que pedí el rembolso del resto de las 3 noches lo cual se me negó. Recomiendo preguntar las características de las habitaciones, ante todo si hay aire acondicionado ya que en roma en estás fechas suele hacer cerca de 40 grados. La habitación no bajaba de 30.
