Occidental Pamplona

Loved the Location, View of Yamaguchi Park, and Cleanliness

Nothing

I was launching my trek on the Camino de Santiago from Pamplona and stayed at Occidental Pamplona Hotel for one night. The check-in was pleasant and the room was clean and quiet, with a window that opened to let the cool air in. It is outside the Casco Viejo (Old Town) area, but easily walkable. The breakfast buffet was expansive and high quality. Although the hotel did not have the labels needed for Jacotrans to transfer my luggage to my next camino stop, the hotel took the initiative and called Jacotrans for a workaround.

Only that they did not have the baggage transfer process down. Maybe they are not a typical hotel choice for Camino de Santiago pilgrims.

Quiet well established neighborhood great selection of restaurants and bars

Habitación còmoda y personal excelente.

Muy buenas instalaciones, todo muy limpio. Se descansa muy bien.

Todo me gustó!

Good hotel in a quiet location. Short 20 mins walk into city. Rooms were large and clean. Good parking too

Colazione dolce salata abbondante

Very nice room and bed

Tv was not great, unable to use Netflix or other streaming services

camera ottima, funzionale, pulita.

Check in lento Un poco lejos del centro (15 min a pie)

Rien

Excellent location in a modern part of the city. The staff were very polite, friendly, and welcoming. The rooms offer stunning views, and there’s a beautiful park nearby as well as plenty of excellent restaurants with delicious food.

Location was a little out of town, but ideal for parking and didn't take long to walk into the centre. Breakfast was superb, couldn't be faulted and the staff were incredibly friendly and obliging.

Up-selling from a reasonable room on arrival, but my bad, I could have said no.

Friendly reception staff. Super view across the Yamaguchi park. Spacious and well equipped room Easy and cheap bus trip to centre or taxi around 10 euros.

Expensive electric car charging in hotel car park.

The room is big enough, location a bit far from city center (by foot) but just in front of a park and in quiet area, easy to find parking. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is huge (it's room for 3 persons). The view is the other building, nothing special.

One of the front desk staff, he was not really friendly when we checked in even i felt like he was really off to me. I was the one who booked this hotel, payed this hotel, eventhough i am not european, i don't look european, so it was under my name the booking, he looked at my pasport, put it back, then he looked at my husband pasport (who is european) and registered everything under his name (he was not even there when it happened) ! Then he asked for my bank card (i have paid the hotel online 2 days before), i was thinking he would look the detail of my bank card to confirm, instead he just put it on the table and almost not returned it to me if i didn't ask it. Hospitality was not there..so dissapointed ☹️ But i saw the other front desk staff was so friendly and helpful, just this guy.

Lovely rooms and friendly staff.

Nothing really. Check in was a little slow. Location is about 20-30 mins walk from city centre.

Letti comodi, camera molto spaziosa, angolo cottura

Good value, clean, comfortable, nice staff, air conditioned, great breakfast, great location.

The use of the Parking is not well explained.

Nada

No hemos desayunado.

Excellent hotel, better than many 5 stars. Secure parking, good reception, excellent size room. Nice 30 minutes walk in to town. Would happily stay here again. Lovely park opposite

Nothing, all excellent. Definitely stay here again

Wij hadden een familiekamer, wauw! Groot, luxe, schoon en netjes. Ontbijt was perfect!

Heel verzorgd modern rustig gelegen hotel.

Niets

Great location - a 20 minute walking distance to centre. The breakfast and friendly breakfast staff ladies.

No trust at check-in. Our whole family had to sign forms (including my 14 year old son) and all provide our ID cards. Our credit card was asked for again even though payment was already made via a link sent to me prior to arrival at the hotel. I would have preferred to pay at the hotel upon arrival but the email received from BARCELÓ hotels mentioned that the hotel reserved the right to cancel the booking if this was not done. This isn’t good practice due to all the online scams - so I was not at ease with that way of making payment. Having to constantly pay for the public car park in front of the hotel not great and only with cash.

Great location, bars and stores are walking distance. Parking available everywhere and by reservation.

The mattress are not comfortable, you can feel the coils hurting you.

L'enregistrement a été très très long ... Beaucoup trop long !

Consigliatissimo

tutto perfetto

Todo perfecto

No vi nada malo

Very nice layout of the room. We liked the view, th location and the bathroom

Fijn hotel op wandelafstand vh centrum. Vriendelijk personeel

Niets

Very well kept, clean, friendly staff! Air conditioning was great, room was super comfortable I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

There was nothing I didnt like

Comfort. Goed bereikbaar en fijn parkeren (wel even reserveren).

Big rooms, good breakfast and helpful staff

It could have been closer to the old town

Very clean

Closed to everything you need

Excelente hotel.

Nada a declarar

Buena localización. Habitaciones bastante nuevas y cuidadas

We were here during the annual festival and we were very happy with the location. It was walking distance but far enough away to be away from it all when we wanted to be. The hotel was great, front desk staff friendly, underground parking was full but we were able to get street parking in front of the hotel and pay via app. (And not have to move our car like in other areas in Spain when it needed to be renewed). Gym was small but empty, just enough to burn off some steam. Was very happy with the hotel and would return again if our travels brought us back in this direction.

The staff were very helpful and the room was fine.

It was very expensive and the room was hotter than I would have liked despite the air con.

Zeer goede bedden. Zeer vriendelijk onthaal/personeel Ruime kamer Rustige omgeving
