George & Alexandra's Apartments

The staff was amazing! They were So helpfull in collecting our luggage and also being able to leave our luggage at the last day. They even offered to drop our luggage off at the busstation. Also the breathtaking views from the rooftop terrace. By far the highest positioned rooftop in Old town Rhodes with stunning views of the sea, the churches and mosque and the city wall of Medieval Rhodes And last but not least the extremely comfortable beds (better than my own bed at home). Everything spotlessly clean. And all of this in a very central but quiet part of old town Rhodes. We certainly will return!

We truly enjoyed our 2night stay at G & A. Perfect location and the apartment was fabulous! A combination of old stone walls, wood ceilings and modern amenities. Emmanuel was so helpful with dinner suggestions, things to do and even the bus stop location! We will stay again!!!

We have never stayed somewhere where absolutely nothing is too much trouble and everything you need or need help with is done with such good grace and promptness. Honestly, everything we needed any help with…we only had to ask and it was done. Such a wonderful, wonderful place to stay!!!

Great location, clean, comfortable and nothing was too much trouble. Facilities were perfect with full functioning kitchen. With corner store just at the top of lane way. Quiet location yet just minutes from the castle and all Rhodes has to offer. Really comfortable bed. My own beautiful terrace for evenings and top common terrace had best views over Rhodes. Exceptional.

I really want to leave a review about where we stayed. The house was a historic building right inside the Old Town of Rhodes, and its atmosphere made us feel like we’d stepped right back into the era of the knights. Even though it was super close to everything, we didn't hear any noise at all. It was definitely one of the best places we've ever stayed, and we had an unforgettable experience.

The location is perfect: heart of the old town but slightly off the main thoroughfare down the prettiest little alley. Close to some of the friendliest, prettiest shops and bars and restaurants. The hosts simply could not have been nicer or more hospitable. Cannot rate this place or the hosts highly enough.

Io e i miei amici abbiamo soggiornato in due appartamenti sullo stesso piano, entrambi fornitissimi di tutti i servizi possibili e con terrazza. Il proprietario Emmanuel è un ragazzo meraviglioso, è stato molto presente in tutti i momenti e per tutte le esigenze di cui avevamo bisogno. Il primo giorno si è offerto di venirci a prendere con le valigie alla porta di accesso per entrare nel centro storico e lo stesso anche l’ultimo giorno. Inoltre, ci ha consigliato i locali migliori, ci ha fornito nuovi asciugamani e l’ultimo giorno ci ha fatto lasciare le valigie per il tempo necessario. Siamo davvero felicissimi, ci siamo trovati benissimo da ogni punto di vista!!

First of all, Emmanouil Bey is a wonderful person; very attentive, friendly, and caring, going above and beyond to help his guests. Besides that, the house is located in perhaps the most beautiful part of the Old Town. It's both central and quiet. The room was spotlessly clean and had all the necessary amenities. We had a lovely holiday.

I cannot offer any negative comments about the facility.

Our hosts were wonderful. Beautiful, rustic family run apartments with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a great holiday.

Excellent location and big comfy beds. Nice outside areas for relaxing and rooftop views. Very accommodating host picked us up from the ferry terminal, and took our bags down for us at the end of the stay. A ride through Rodos town on the back of a electric trike was magic!

Only grumble was the washing machine. Its not the best, but we managed. Not a big deal.

Everything was wonderful. Beautiful little apartment in a medieval refurbished building. The furnishings were gorgeous. The location was perfect to explore and wander the old town without the cruise passengers constantly passing by. Manuel was so very kind and helpful. It was lovely to have a chat with Alexandra and to meet her gorgeous dogs. We left feeling like we were leaving old friends. We would not hesitate to stay here again. You should pick this accommodation if you want to experience the serenity and history of the old town.

Inside Old Town. Medium sized apartment with all facilities. Our host George was terrific, picked us up at one of the gates and settled us in and on departure, dropped us off to a pre booked taxi, One of the best hosting experiences we had on our whole trip. Step out of the apartment to the hustle and bustle of all that the medieval town has to offer. It wasn’t noisy though,

High bed but comfortable. steep steps up to apartment, one floor only- but not too many ( nothing compared to many places we have stayed in) and George was on hand to help with luggage. Coffee maker looked a bit daunting to use .

Easy communication at all times. The property access was made very easy as Alexandria arranged to pick us up from the airport and we were met by Manuel who drove us to the property. Quick and efficient and they were extremely friendly, warm and helpful. We were very pleased to have met them.

No complaints from us at all regarding our stay in this delightful property. We loved the location, the setup had everything we could need, and it was comfortable, clean and beautiful. The bed was exceptionally comfortable.

Location perfect right in the centre of the old town . George & Alexandra were always available if you needed anything. Beautiful apartment with a lots of steps so not suitable if you would struggle with that. Stavros bar opposite was welcoming and fun with sports tv

It had an amazing double terrace but completely shaded throughout the day ..so unable to sunbathe

I fully recommend George & Alexandra's Apartments, they were so friendly and accommodating, the apartment itself was in a great central area close to everything but just far enough away to be quiet, it was clean,the wifi was excellent, there was even gratis bottled water there. At the end of my stay I was even chauffeured back to my car outside town in the morning when it was time to go to the airport. Thank you for a lovely stay and thank you so much for the early morning lift. 5 stars isn't enough.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The host went above and beyond to help us and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Brilliant host George, an extremely cheerful person, he would do anything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Lovely hot shower and the bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Well appointed accommodation in the heart of the old town with everything you need, and so clean and well kept. So quiet, absolutely no noise to keep you awake at night as it’s a street away from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend this accommodation to anyone wishing to stay in the Old Town in Rhodes.

L'accès à la grande terrasse sur les toits depuis la chambre est top. La douche est grande. La salle de bain est bien fournie en produits douche et serviettes. Le salon est grand et confortable. Localisation parfaite dans la vieille ville.

La prise pour brancher le micro onde n'est pas accessible , il faut déplacer le micro onde en le changeant d'étagère. La pièce principale est sombre , il n'y a pas de fenêtre , heureusement le propriétaire a installé beaucoup de miroirs et de lustres.

Charming in the heart of Old Town. The owners took care of our every need including help with washer usage instructions (the controls are in Greek of course). And transport of the luggage from St Athanasios Gate. The outside patios are shared including the rooftop one. Beautiful views all about.

No major downside. No access by car and the need to drag the luggage from the old town gate comes with the old town location.

One of the drawbacks about staying in the old town is the humidity. The heating worked well though during the cool spring days.

Θα ήθελα αρχικά να πω ότι η βαθμολογία μου είναι 10' (δέκα με τόνο)!! Δεν μπορώ να βρω τίποτα αρνητικό... όλα τέλεια και άψογα! Το σπίτι σε ταξιδεύει σε άλλη εποχή παντρεύοντας το παλιό με την σημερινή άνεση! Η διακόσμηση και τα υλικά τα καλύτερα.... πολύ άνετο σπίτι,με πολύ γούστο,σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία, και με πολύ ωραίο μπαλκόνι με θέα θάλασσα και κάστρο!! Πεντακάθαρο και συστήνεται ανεπιφύλακτα σε όλους τους επισκέπτες! Οι οικοδεσπότες ευγενεστατοι, φιλικοί και πάντα δίπλα σας για πληροφορίες! Σίγουρα θα το επισκεφτώ ξανά εάν έρθω στο πανέμορφο νησί της Ρόδου! Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ 🙏

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super, sehr zentral in der Altstadt gelegen, sodass man alles gut fußläufig erreichen kann. Da wir außerhalb der Saison dort waren, gab es auch keinen größeren Lärm von draußen. Das Bett war sehr bequem und gut mit Decken ausgestattet (das war notwendig, da es sehr kalt im Apartment war). Es gab ausreichend Handtücher und auch Seife/Shampoo im Bad. Alles war sauber. Der Check-in hat reibungslos funktioniert. Es wurden 2 Wasserflaschen für uns bereitgestellt.

Insgesamt war es sehr kalt in dem Apartment und es gab eine hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit. Wir hatten leider ziemliches Pech mit dem Wetter, sodass unsere Sachen vom Regen sehr nass waren. Es gab leider keinen Eingangsbereich, um die Schuhe auszuziehen oder abzustellen, sodass drinnen direkt alles nass wurde. Die nasse Kleidung trocknete nicht, da es in der Wohnung total feucht war. So feucht, dass die Wände auch nass waren. In der ersten Nacht hat es sogar durch die Decke geregnet und einige unserer Sachen wurden nass. Die Wohnung hat eine große Glasfront zum Eingang, sodass man die Vorhänge dauerhaft geschlossen halten muss, damit nicht alle reinschauen können. Dadurch ist es sehr dunkel im ganzen Apartment. Das Wasser in der Küche und im Bad wurde nicht warm, es war eiskalt. Nur in der Dusche gab es (zum Glück) warmes Wasser. Durch die Feuchtigkeit gab es in der Wohnung sehr viele Schnurfüßer (wie Tausendfüßler, sehen aus wie dicke Würmer).

The hosts were exceptional. They helped us with all of our questions. We were able to check in early and check out a bit late due to rain. They were very accommodating and lovely to meet. The apartment was 10/10 clean, and beautifully decorated and perfectly located in old town.

The location was conveniently in old town. Hosts were super helpful with tips about restaurants and helping my husband after he locked himself out.

Minor minor point but the lights inside the apartment were piercingly bright. Small very bright lights.

Owner's son came round very quickly to help us with washing machine etc. The sun shone every day which was wonderful. There was a shop at the end of our street and the best, open restaurant was very close to the apartment.

George could have been at the apartment when we arrived (as we had arranged)

Location and comfort.

At the very heart of the Old Town, a place oozing charm and character, tastefully refurbished, with all mod cons, and a lovely roof terrace to top it all - literally. Oh, and extremely affordable out of season.

Rhodes is beautiful and very peaceful at the end of January. So peaceful that you might say it is dead, at least the Old Town: nearly all shops, cafes and restaurants are closed. But a 10-15 minute walk will get you to a decent supermarket and some good eateries.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The owner was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location is convenient, close to attractions. Overall, great value for money. I would definitely stay here again.
