Reviewed Aug 27, 2026I had a great stay here. The staff were extremely friendly and even upgraded my room, which was a lovely surprise. The room itself was huge, with plenty of cupboard space and a comfortable extra seating area. The location couldn’t be better — right in the city centre of St. Gallen, making everything easily accessible
A few things to note: there is no gym inside the hotel — you have to walk a couple of minutes through a corridor to access a public gym, which was quite busy. There are also a few churches nearby, so you can hear the bells early in the morning. Lastly, the bed was too soft for me personally, and I struggled to sleep properly, which led to some back ache. Overall, great staff and location, but a few areas didn’t fully suit my needs.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026The hotel Einstein St. Gallen is a top level hotel in the center of St. Gallen. It boasts very clean and orderly public spaces along with comfortable rooms that are well appointed and well-furnished. The staff is very friendly (no valet to help with luggage though) and certain services (parking and restaurant) are in a separate building that is accessible, if you ask how, by underground passage. The location is excellent, only a few steps away from the beautiful and historic old town (Altstadt) of St. Gallen. The hotel's two-Michelin star restaurant Einstein Gourmet was not open during our stay but we had a very good and surprisingly elegant dinner at the hotel's Bistro St. Gallen, where we were attended to with great skill by Joerg, whose wine suggestions were also spot on. We would recommend this hotel as a quite fairly priced, comfortable and pleasant place to spend time in St. Gallen.

The breakfast offered a great variety of fresh and tasty options, and the room was spacious and comfortable, making our stay overall very pleasant. During our stay, a room nearly opposite ours on the 3rd floor was being renovated. Workers started quite early in the morning (before 7 a.m.) and continued throughout the day, which occasionally made it a bit noisy.

Le camere sono belle, la puliza perfetta e la posizione ideale, a 2 minuti a piedi dal centro storico pedonale. I ristoranti sono ottimi ed il bar è molto accogliente e conosciuto, frequentato anche da clienti esterni. Oltre agli ottimi drinks si può mangiare molto bene. A San Gallo io non andrei mai in un altro albergo e ogni anno sono sempre impaziente di tornare.

Am Muttertag haben wir meinen Sohn natürlich zum Frühstück einladen wollen. Wegen ihm waren wir die 2 Nächte in St.Gallen!!! Aber der Frühstücksleiter war sehr unfreundlich und es hat etwas gedauert bis mein Sohn mit uns endlich frühstücken „durfte“. Das war kein schöner Auftakt für den Tag. Alle anderen waren sehr freundlich!

Odalarda ciddi bir ses yalıtım sorunu var. Karşı odadakinin kahkaha sesleri veya yan odadaki çiftin bütün uygunsuz sesleri olduğu gibi geliyor. Bu nedenle paramın karşılığını hak etmediğini düşünüyorum.

Reviewed Mar 21, 2026Emplacement excellent, propreté excellente, personnel excellent : ont fait l'effort de parler français, très disponible, produits frais au petit-déjeuner. Parking facile d'accès dans un autre bâtiment mais public, peu de places libres selon les heures.
Le petit-déjeuner se trouve dans un autre bâtiment, il faut traverser une rue. Le spa se trouve dans un autre bâtiment, il faut passer par un grand couloir sous-terrain non chauffé et le spa est ouvert au public extérieur de l'hôtel.
