Origin Uluwatu

Bij aankomst welkomsdrankje gekerenge en spontaan kamerupgrade gerkegen met privézwembad. Prachtige accomodatie. Lekker ontbijt en lunch. vlot vervoer naar luchthaven voor schappelijke prijs. Wij hadden pas in de late namiddag een vlucht en waren in voormiddag nog naar het strand geweest. De accomodatie bood spontaan aan ons aan om nog een douche te kunnen nemen, wat zeer werkom was, aangezien we nog vol zout en zand hingen en een reis van 24 uur te gaan hadden.

Soms wat taalbarrière/Engels wat minder vlot, maar was niet storend. nog steeds aangename communicatie mogelijk.

Le service. Pour un logement de 4* à Bali à ce tarif là. Le service n'était pas bon et très long... Par ailleurs, le fait d'avoir des extras pour du pain au petit déjeuner n'est pas compréhensible quand on paie une nuit à ce tarif là. Ce n'était d'ailleurs, pas le cas dans les autres logements de Bali. Si la qualité du service s'améliore et qu'on compte moins les petits sous l'expérience client sans retrouvera grandement améliorée.

Great concept and great staff. The villa was very confortable and the price for money is really good. Ari , our host, has been really great !

The breakfast could be improved

We stayed for ten days with a toddler and we have had a great time. it was our first time glamping and we can say we will do it again. the place was welcoming , very relaxed , tucked away behind the main street but somehow you can't hear the noise of traffic, or music at night, the only thing you could probably hear is some dog barking but hey it's Bali and thats normal. breakfast was great, drinks were amazing , room service was quick , pool was clean and the premises were well kept. the highlight though for us was the staff which was great, everyone from the housekeeping staff to gardeners chefs and baristas were always ready to help and always with a smile. A special thank you to Ari , Yundi and Indah for their great constant help to meet our needs and make our stay memorable. Thank you

Given the concept and design most properties in Uluwatu to connect with nature etc will also be a little susceptible to some noise coming though. It might bother you if you are a light sleeper

Einfach alles! Ich war bereits zum zweiten Mal da und werde die Unterkunft wieder buchen. Sie ist ruhig und dennoch zentral gelegen, das Frühstück ist hervorragend und die Zelte sind sehr komfortabel und bieten viel Platz. Man hat seine Privatsphäre und trotzdem jeglichen Service! Das Personal ist mittlerweile wie Familie, freundlich und extrem bemüht! Sehr empfehlenswert!

The size of the room and having a private pool was amazing. The staff were super friendly and professional.

Mould in one of the rooms, but the staff changed our beds to the other room as soon as we asked for it.

The hotel is beautiful, tucked away in a side street, but not far from the main road. The villas are designed in a kind of glamping style, but with a beautiful bathroom and a nice bed. I haven't participated in the activities, but I saw them happening and they seemed like a lot of fun: pool retreats etc. The bed was nice, a bit firm, but this would be a bonus for some people. Excellent breakfast included, with a choice from the menu that included fantastic smoothies and fresh juices. And I loved the evening decor with lanterns around the pool: a very special feeing. Great rainforest type shower. The best even thing was the staff: there was always someone in the common area, catering to your every wish, addressing each guest by the name and generaly lovely. Thank you Origin, I will definitely be back.

There were a few minor issues with the room which were promptly addressed. Water flow in the bathtub could be improved: it took forever to fill it, so if you plan to take a bath, think well in advance ;-)

The property is pure perfection, 10/10. Their service is on 5-star level, you get everything you need within a few minutes. Rooms are very clean, the trash bins are emptied twice a day which is crazy :) Everyone is super helpful, friendly, pool is great too. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough, it was easily one of the place we stayed all over the world.

Maybe a tiny room for improvement - add some non-meat positions to your menu. My wife doesn’t eat meat and there was literally 0 food options for dinner for her. Not a big deal, but this could be improved :)

Such a calming atmosphere and a truly beautiful place — the perfect escape to relax and soak in the nature around you. The facilities are gorgeous, and the staff are incredibly friendly, which made my stay even more special. I had a wonderful time and honestly can’t recommend it enough ✨

Все свежее, все очень стараются, тк, еще раз, место новое В этом году стало хуже. Номера очень пожившие в части , где ванная. Как можете видеть по фото, это не номера в полном смысле слова, это шатры. И вот внутри все ок, все адекватно, а снаружи под навесом, где часть с ванной - прямо декаданс, плиточка в ауте, зеркала полу разбиты, напор воды 3/5 Внимание Номера разной ценовой категории - просто шатер в саду и номер с бассейном, абсолютно одинаковые. Разница только в наличии бассейна, а его плохо чистят. Поэтому номер с бассейном не берите

За эти деньги уже не очень прикольно, как вариант на ночь - две. Персонал адекватный Дизайн веселенький

We didn’t understand the 180sqm put on the room details was including all the exterior space, it’s actually much smaller, which is fine because the space is good but then for me the price was too high

This is our second time of staying at Origins and we love everything about it. From the moment you walk through the entrance you feel relaxed in this unique property. The rooms are beautifully presented, we love the indoor / outdoor layout, the beds are super comfortable, the gardens are well maintained and the overall experience is simply wonderful. The breakfast is delicious and sets you up for the day ahead. The staff are amazing, they are welcoming and offer the personal touch you don’t find in big hotels. Nothings is too much trouble and the communication is perfect. They assisted with hiring scooters and arranging the best massage we’ve had while travelling Bali (we highly recommend the massage, it might be more than you will pay in the village but it’s well worth it). Thanks again to the team at Origin you are all amazing and made our stay so special.

We loved the warm and welcoming staff. The room was massive and had air-conditioning, everything was clean and the whole vibe was probably one of the reasons why this is our top location for this trip. The shampoo was great, the light mosquito coils at night as well for your accommodation and then nothing is too much trouble. The staff are really great here.

That we left early and could not have a superb breakfast. However even then the staff prepared a cold sandwich and nice juice for us.

I liked everything about the property and above all the amazing staff who were extremely friendly and helpful. They always made sure I was satisfied with everything. Special thanks to Ari 🙏🏻 but also to all of the staff. I had a very relaxing stay there.

Perfecte accommodatie, goede airconditioning. Geen insecten/ongedierte en erg kalm in de avond. Perfect locatie alles binnen 20 minuten berijkbaar.

Its a nice place with private yard for each house/tent. There are all amenities and very cosy vibe.

A bit far fron the beach, so need to use scooter or grab/taxi.

Tout était absolument incroyable ! L'accueil a été chaleureux dès notre arrivée. L'équipe s'assure régulièrement que tout aille bien pour vous et vous donne des conseils pour profiter d'Uluwatu. Le petit-déjeuner est délicieux et les plats du restaurant également. La chambre est grande et propre. La salle de bain est en extérieur ce qui un réel plaisir (aucune bête bizarre ne nous a rendu visite). Nous sommes partis avec un vrai pincement au coeur après 3 jours là-bas.

Loved the rooms, felt like a private villa/suite with own garden and outdoor bathroom, was great and still very private. All staff were fantastic from moment I arrived, very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Location is great just a short scooter ride or walk from some great coffee/brunch spots near padang padang and other spots around Uluwatu coast easily in reach.

The staff were incredible. Especially Ari and Yugi who could not have been more helpful. Lots of space beautiful gardens and grounds. Very private and quiet. Clean large private pool. Amazing huge breakfasts. Free bicycles. Outdoor games like corn hole, dominos, giant jenga. Marshmallows on campfire in the evening. Water cooler that has hot water for tea and coffee and ice cold water for the hot days. Complimentary nibbles and iced water around the main pool.

Abbiamo soggiornato all’Origin Uluwatu ed è stata un’esperienza davvero speciale. Le sistemazioni in tenda sono bellissime: spaziose, curate in ogni dettaglio e immerse nella natura, con quel tocco di lusso che le rende uniche. Si dorme circondati dal verde ma con tutti i comfort di un hotel di alto livello. La location è perfetta per chi cerca tranquillità e relax, ma rimane anche vicina alle spiagge più belle di Uluwatu. La piscina è splendida e invita a rilassarsi per ore. Lo staff è gentilissimo, sempre disponibile e attento, rendendo il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. L’atmosfera generale è magica: un mix tra avventura e comfort, che ti fa sentire parte della natura senza rinunciare a nulla. Ottima colazione ricca di scelta e prodotti freschi . Un’esperienza indimenticabile che consiglio assolutamente a chi vuole vivere Uluwatu in modo autentico e speciale!

Alles war so so toll

Dit is een prachtige plek! Uluwatu kan druk en hektisch zijn, dit is een heerlijk rustig plekje in die drukte. Het zwembad is heerlijk, en de bungalows prachtig. We maakten ons wat zorgen om de muggen, maar hebben nergens last van gehad. Onze kinderen vonden ook het kampvuurtje savonds met de marshmallows erg leuk. De service is ontzettend goed! De medewerkers, van de host tot het bar personeel zijn ongelooflijk aardig en attent. Dit is zeker één van onze leukste verblijven geweest op Bali.

Neighbouring roosters were very vocal. A great way to get up early and make the most of the day in beautiful Bali.

I loved everything about this experience from start to finish. Our stay was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were taken care of so well by the hotel staff, who were extremely friendly and always happy to help with anything we needed. Mornings were a treat—starting the day with a delicious breakfast overlooking the pool, surrounded by trees and beautiful scenery, was pure bliss. Evenings were just as magical, with a cozy bonfire where you could roast marshmallows and watch lanterns glowing in the trees. It felt like stepping into a fairytale. The rooms were equally impressive—super comfortable beds, a large smart TV, and an overall cozy, homelike feel that made it the perfect retreat. The bathroom and dining table were outdoors, but beautifully designed for comfort and privacy. I especially appreciated the mosquito incense provided in the evenings, which made the indoor–outdoor living setup with its own private garden both practical and enchanting. Stepping out of our garden into the hotel’s stunning grounds felt like entering a peaceful oasis. I also loved the yoga classes held twice a week in their gorgeous yoga chalet, led by a fantastic instructor—such a wonderful way to start the day. I will definitely be coming back here and would recommend this hotel to absolutely anyone looking for a truly relaxing, beautiful, and memorable getaway.

The tent itself was really big and spacious, well designed and comfortable! Staff were lovely. Main pool was a good size and the facilities are great. Staff were lovely :)

It’s such a shame about the building works. Not necessarily the noise, but the privacy has gone. I did not feel comfortable sunbathing as the builders could see right over (and were looking)! As I was the front tent, it actually meant they could see into my bathroom!!!! Genuinely had to get dressed as soon as I was out the shower, as bathroom is completely open, which also meant it was so hot when trying to get ready. Perhaps a mirror in the main room would be better to help with this?

Sehr liebevoll ausgestattete Zelte in einer kleinen Unterkunft. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und sprüht abends die Zelte mit Mosquitospray ein, damit man nicht zu viele Insekten drin hat.

Die Nachbarn hatten viele Tiere, die teilweise die ganze Nacht durch Geräusche von sich gaben. Schlafen war somit nur per Ohrenstöpsel möglich. Man sollte zu dem keine Angst vor Krabbeltieren haben. Wir hatten eine Kröte und eine kleine Spinne im Zelt. Wir fanden schade, dass beim Frühstück nur Filterkaffee dabei war und man für Cappucino und Co. zahlen musste.

From the moment I arrived, the friendliness of the staff made this hotel feel more like a home than a place to stay. On my very first night, when I discovered all the nearby restaurants were closed, Intan went above and beyond—making some of her own food for me which was greatly appreciated. Another member of the team,Nyoman, gave me a lift, treated me to his delicious fish dish, and even shared the recipe. Their kindness turned a great stay into an unforgettable one. The accommodation itself is clean and comfortable and the pool area is a tranquil space to relax. Highly recommend staying at Origin if you are in Uluwatu.

Everything, this place exceeded all expectations. It was so much bigger than any of the pictures showed. What an amazing breakfast and the staff were simply the best. We had a few requests and they did everything they could to help. Could not ask for more

Séjour mitigé, le concept des tentes est sympa mais c’est très bruyants (entre les chiens qui aboient, les bébés qui pleurent et les travaux à proximité, les nuits sont compliquées).

Construction work going on opposite the hotel where the noise is throughout the day. The internet is so weak which needs improvement. The TV remote and water dispenser wasnt working properly had to report to the concierge after we checked in.

The staff is great, breakfast in the morning is good.

Need more lighting inside and outside.

Wij hebben een geweldige tijd hier gehad! Het is een mooie, schone en rustgevende accommodatie. Hiernaast is het personeel heel vriendelijk, behulpzaam en meedenkend. Helaas was ik ziek, desondanks heeft het personeel er alles aan gedaan om het voor mij zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken. Hiernaast biedt de accommodatie viel aan, zoals fietsen, de was en een kampvuurtje etc. De accommodatie ligt op een rustige ideale plek, buiten het centrum van Uluwatu. Ondanks de vele muggen, zorgt het personeel ervoor dat wij hier geen ongemak door ervaren. Al om al zeker aan te raden!

Everything!! Everyone at the Origin was so friendly and welcoming, you felt like part of their family straight away which was reassuring as a solo traveller. I love that everything was outside, the tents are huge and beautiful and you feel very safe.

One of the best places I’ve stayed at in Uluwatu!😍 Origin Uluwatu is absolutely amazing❤️ The staff are just magical – super friendly, always ready to help, and genuinely kind. I stayed in one of the villas and it was perfect – very clean, neat, and with its own private outdoor area, so you can fully relax without anyone watching. You can literally walk around naked if you want😁 There’s also a nice shared pool and peaceful vibes all around. I even saw squirrels running through the garden – how cool is that? Honestly, this is probably one of the best places I’ve stayed in Uluwatu. I loved it and would definitely come back❤️❤️❤️

It was just outstanding! Went there for a solo vacation. Ended up in the small "house" with my own pool. The stuff there is incredible. Communication & help they are willing to provide are out of this world!

The hotel is the best hotel we have ever stayed in! All the staff went over and above board to make us feel welcome and at home! We can not recommend this hotel high enough. 100% we will be back. Even if we needed any additional help Yudi or Celline would help us straight away, whether it’s booking a taxi or getting us tickets for a night out. OUTSTANDING SERVICE!

Замечательное место для отдыха и релаксации, но главный плюс это безумного доброжелательное обслуживание и идеальное месторасположение. Мы дошли пешком до всех модных кафе и до пляжа за 7 минут. Здесь уютные и просторные номера, хороший напор воды, премиальные средства для душа. Прикольная веранда с видом на сад. Нас влюбила в себя костровая зона для вечернего отдыха. В общем рекомендую 🙌

The place is just super beautiful, spacious and the clamping is very luxurious and stylish. The outdoor bathroom is big and we loved the design and to have nature around us. The breakfast was very good, too. Every house is private, which makes you feel like you have the place for yourself. What stood out to us is the amazing friendly staff: Everybody went out of their way to make us feel at home, helped with everything and we couldn't have wished for more. Every extra wish was taken care of in minutes. It is also a nice place if you travel with kids. There is a little construction noise around at the moment during daytime, but nothing too close and anyway, it is Uluwatu. So that's everywhere. 😉 Easy walk to the main road where you have nice restaurants and shops. Laundry always came the next day. What we definitely recommend is to get a massage in your room, while you are there. Origin is working with a Spa from Uluwatu and the massages where the best we had during our 5 weeks in Bali. We will definitely come back!
