It's a bit of a mission to get to the island but very well worth it. The resort is great, beautiful grounds and very kind service, the beach is beautiful and easy to swim in the ocean, not a lot of painful coral to walk over. We rented 4 pool access rooms which were spectacular, we travel a lot and have never experienced that type of room with a good size deck with a few steps right into a huge pool, it was awesome! The women got a message at the resort and enjoyed it. For a pretty upscale resort a large mug of cold draft Thai beer at the bar was only $1.50 usd, very nice. The resort is beautiful. The pool access rooms are large and very comfortable, the breakfast buffet included in the price is also very good. This really deserves a 10 but I hold out in case something even better comes along.

Love the hotel. We stayed at Jacuzzi family room that had king bed & bunk bed. The staff service are great. Hotel near very The Walking Street & where the speedboat drop off. The beach in front are clean & no boat parking.

Although the breakfast spread are not halal but there's varieties of food to choose from. I paid extra 1200thb for my kid during check it as the room only cover for 4 people.

e have an utterly disappointing experience. I would give zero star if I could. We planned months ago to go to Koh Lipe through Langkawi. I knew there was one ferry daily during low season and two ferries daily during high season. There was never any news about ferries being closed starting June on the ferry’s website. It wasn’t until we arrived in Langkawi when we found out the ferry was closed starting June due to the war in Middle East and rising oil costs. This is practically force majeure. We tried for two days to find return ferry tickets but failed. And we don’t want to spend the whole time in Koh Lipe worrying about how to get back to Langkawi. We explained the unfortunate situation to Ananya Lipe with proof of the ferry being closed and they rejected our cancellation right away saying it was the policy. Our full payment will be confiscated. Ananya provided the WhatsApp contact of a Thai travel agency, who wasn’t much help because they never replied to my messages. Yes, we will try to go to Koh Lipe again in the future. And no, we will not stay in Ananya because they took HKD 6,000+ from us for nothing. Talk about an easy way to make money! Yes, ferry service was part of the reason. And yet, it was Ananya’s cold reply that was most disappointing and frustrating to us. To fellow travellers - if you are going to stay in Ananya in low season, don’t go through Langkawi and don’t make full payment until you get there. They don’t really care about how you feel once they get paid.

This resort is just beautiful. We walked off the boat and a few steps on the white sand into this resort. The porters were there to meet us and carry our luggage to our room. The rooms were huge and beautifully decorated and they have everything within them and more that you will need. There is also a fully stocked minibar and coffee maker within the room and great air conditioning. The hotel surprised us with a lovely decoration of towels, flowers and petals on our bed for our wedding anniversary also. Our room had a lovely balcony with cuddlechair and pool view also. The pool area has comfortable sun loungers with cushions and the beach area has lots of beanbags and tables to sit and enjoy the beach or have food and drinks. This hotel has literally thought of everything and will not disappoint, we extended our stay a few more nights as we enjoyed it so much. Lovely resort.

There was some room renovations going on at the hotel during our stay which could get a little noisy from time to time but did not affect our stay at all.

The location was everything and the room was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Chris the bartender who was very personable and very proficient in guest relations. He gave us many great recommendations for restaurants and spots to visit and things to do, checked up on us whenever we bumped into him at the resort. He added that personal touch which really made our stay much more memorable.

The fact that the spa and massage area was out in the open and there wasn’t much privacy to change or get a massage without people being able to peer into the area

Close to the beach and great staff. Food is exceptionall.

Ok, small pool in room is dangerous struggled to get in and out no rail. Decking is loose and sticking up, needs attention. Let the experience down 8 and not a 10 but still a great stay.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut und die Anlage ist grundsätzlich schön gestaltet. Das Personal war freundlich und bemüht.

Die Unterkunft entspricht nicht der Beschreibung auf Booking. Wir haben eine Suite mit separatem Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer gebucht, tatsächlich handelte es sich jedoch nur um einen offenen Raum ohne jegliche Trennung. Zusätzlich war das Fitnessstudio nicht nutzbar, da die zentrale Krafttrainingsmaschine defekt war. Dies wurde vorab nicht kommuniziert, obwohl es ein wichtiges Kriterium für unsere Buchung war. Insgesamt entspricht die Ausstattung und Qualität nicht dem, was man von einem 5-Sterne-Hotel erwarten würde.

i did not like my room, so i ask the staff if they have another room, they have and they change for me, so i was very happy also my kids

Location and the aesthetics

The pool towels had a holes, drainage in bathroom was bad and shower kept flooding, the swimming pools were dirty, we chose to swim on the beach for our entire stay

The facilities were great. The pool at the front was excellent. The choice of sunbeds, cabanas, beanbags were excellent. The location was great. The rooms were nice and our swim up pool was a nice touch. The facilities were truly 5 star.

The property and facilities were great but staff service didn’t match the same standard. During the day, bar staff would often congregate and chat around the bar and it was difficult to get their attention for service. They also looked like it was a bit of an inconvenience. We were told that breakfast finished at 10.30am, but often all cooked food was gone by soon after 10am and when I asked for pancakes at 10.10am, I was told they were finished. You often had to wait for food to be cooked at breakfast and it wasn’t readily available. That being said, the main restaurant at dinner was excellent. It was much better organised and the dinner staff at the restaurant were much better trained and organised. Special acknowledgement to Tong who was fantastic and couldn’t do enough to look after us.

The room is big, clean and comfortable. We loved the big comfortable bed, the extra day bed and the pull out bed. Our room was pool access so we could enjoy swimming anytime we like.

Hope the management can consider having a HALAL section for us Muslims to have our meal like breakfast etc. There were a few Muslims customers we saw while having breakfast but we were only limited to bread, boiled eggs, salad and fruits. We couldn't eat anything else.

The hotel offers a wide range of facilities. The pool area was especially nice — well-designed, relaxing, and a great place to spend time during the day.

While the hotel has good facilities, there were some downsides. The food was not very satisfying and could be improved in quality. In addition, cleanliness in certain areas could be better maintained. With some improvements in these aspects, the overall experience would be much better.

Good quality rooms. Appalling service - never received a complete food order. The rear of the property - access to walking st - is a building site. Building ongoing in April 26. Beware!

Very nice hotel and well located in regards of the main street. The bed at the beach are very good as well as the bar in the swimming pool.

The beach is right were the boat are coming and leaving, it smells fuel and despite a section is reserved for the swim, the long tail boat cross over.

Det er super lækkert, pool, morgenmad, bar, massage, værelser, swim-up og ligger perfekt på Koh Lipe. Vi elsker stedet og kommer igen, og igen.

Alt er perfekt. Intet negativt at sige om stedet.

Man får gode drinks i strandbaren og maden er også nogenlunde. De er klart bedst til at lave thai mad. Hotellet ligger lokations mæssigt super godt og ud til en super lækker strand, hvor man kan snorkle og kigge på fisk. Massagen på hotellet er også rigtig god

Vi boede 5 voksne fordelt på 3 værelser. Der er store problemer med aircondition og udluftning på værelserne. Det gør at værelserne er ekstremt fugtige og der er skimmelsvamp på flere værelser. Der lugtede af ammoniak på det ene værelse. Ligesom der om natten på det ene værelse, kom en slem lugt af kloak. Nogle af os måtte skifte værelse undervejs da værelset var så fugtigt, at vores tøj var vådt. Det nye værelse var bedre, men der var stadig store fugtskader i loftet under aircondition anlægget. Flere af os følte os lidt syge, efter at have boet på værelserne og vågnede op med grønt snot pga. fugten. Vi boede på værelserne i stue etagen med adgang til poolen fra værelset. Værelserne er rigtig mørke pga. valget af det mørke træ på værelserne. Sengene er håbløse og hårde. Sengene knager og brager, når man vender sig. Man kan ikke undgå at vække sin partner, en del gange i løbet af natten. Puderne er heller ikke for gode. Meget af hotellet fremstår rodet. Der ligger mange ting henkastet rundt omkring på hotellet, hvilket forringer indtrykket. Meget af hotellet fremstår også ret slidt og kunne godt trænge til en renovering. Morgenmaden er heller ikke det bedste. Hvis man kunne få en ordentlig kop kaffe, ville det hjælpe en del. Desværre er kaffeautomaten ret forældet og kaffen er ikke god. Personalet kan ikke altid kommunikere så godt på engelsk, men de er super søde.

Hôtel idéalement situé, à deux pas du port et de la rue animée où se trouvent bars, restaurants et boutiques. Les chambres sont confortables, propres et très bien équipées. Le personnel est attentionné et aux petits soins tout au long du séjour. Je recommande vivement cet établissement !

Måske hvis der kunne gøres rent på værelserne når man er væk og på udflugt fik gjort rent hver dag mellem kl 02 pm og 3 pm og det var der vi kom hjem fra udflugterne men de var søde og de gjorde pænt rent rengørings pigerne

-Personal war äußerst nett und zuvorkommend. -Lage direkt am Strand mit tollem Aussenbereich,vielen Liegemöglichkeiten und Privatabschnitt zum schwimmen. -Zimmer war sehr groß und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. -die Massagen vom Hotel waren atemberaubend.

Był to naprawdę dobry wybór, czyste baseny, zadbany obiekt, wyjątkowo miła obsługa, w pełni wyposażony pokój (włączając takie detale jak torebka plażowa). Wystarczająca ilość leżaków i w słońcu i w cieniu. To w hotelu korzystaliśmy z najlepszych masaży na wyspie i to w naprawdę dobrej cenie. Bardzo duży wybór na śniadaniu. Byliśmy 5 nocy, ale z chęcią wrócilibyśmy jeszcze :). Organizacja wycieczek z hotelu.

Siłownia wymaga naprawy sprzętu.

Freundliches Personal und tolle Angebote wie bspw Massage oder Beachbar. Der Strand war, abgesehen von den vielen Booten, wirklich sehr schön (weißer und feiner Sand).

Die Zimmer waren sauber, aber in die Jahre gekommen. Die gesamte Anlage müsste mal renoviert werden. Im Badezimmer hat es sehr stark nach Abfluss gerochen, was äußerst unangenehm war. Außerdem waren die Zimmer sehr hellhörig, wir konnten jedes Wort und jeden Schritt der Menschen am Gang hören. Das Frühstück war okay - aber nichts Besonderes. Wir sind auch mal auswärts frühstücken gegangen. Außerdem sind sehr viele Boote vor dem Hotel, da es direkt am Pier liegt und man kann nur in einem kleinen abgesteckten Bereich baden. Am Pool gibt es Liegen, am Strand jedoch nur Sitzsäcke und keine Sonnenschirme. Bei den Temperaturen und vor allem der Sonne leider unbrauchbar.

Wurden einmal von einer Kakerlake im Badezimmer überrascht, allerdings in Thailand fast Standard

Mooi groot luxe resort. Lokatie heel goed op het eiland. Heel grooot zwembad! Gewoon helemaal goed om op Koh Lipe te verblijven. Voorzieningen rechtstreeks op het strand

Top notch facility, great staff and just a really fun experience!

Could use some more maintenance around the beach pool, some minor room stuff in the barthroom needs replacing and maintenancd. Also breakfast is the biggest let down. Could be better in all regards.

I like modern clean room. Breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly. Near (2 min)is walking street. Small private part of the beach .

The coffee at breakfast is not tasty. Too many boats around the beach. If you want something more relaxing it is better to go to sunrise beach.

Très bel établissement de luxe, chambres spacieuses et très bien équipées ( y compris machine à expresso!) avec un accès direct à la piscine pour certaines. Le bar et les restaurant sur la plage sont très agréables .

L’espace pour se baigner à la plage est réduit et entouré de bateaux.

Les chambres sont spacieuses et très confortables et puis l’accès direct à la piscine un vrai luxe . Petit déjeuner très varié. Le restaurant est bon et correct en prix .

Le jeune homme qui fait les thaï tea et les rotis au petit déjeuner est franchement endormi et antipathique … et il serait bien avisé d’utiliser des ustensibles pour servir plutôt que ses doigts ….

Das Personal, Lage einfach rundherum zufrieden 😃

This place made our stay in Koh Lipe a pure pleasure. The staff is wonderful, very helpful and kind, always here smiling. From the very moment You arrive til the moment You leave everything went smooth and pleasant. The hotel is spacious, clean and has a very cozy/chill vibe. The pool and the beach areas are wonderful, with great sunbeds, bar and music. Great sound isolation in the room and the bed is comfy. They provide everything You'll need during your stay. Breakfast has a good selection and variety. We really liked their restaurant and ate there the best sweet and sour fish among other great dishes. The location is perfect: for the most beautifull sunsets, right at the pier and right next to the main street but still in the more silent area. Ananya made our vacation unforgettable, Thank You.

The coffee in the breakfast buffet was a miss and they lack lactose-free alternatives both during breakfast but also at the bar. Sure the hotel needs some maintenance here and there but nothing critical. Also the gym is not really a gym as the room is small, with little to no equipment, doesn't even have mats and other daily stuff, so the pictures and the advertising wasn't accurate.

Dette overnatningssted var det mest skuffende af alle steder vi var og så også det dyreste , hvilket jo er ærgerligt. De flotte strande som er på billederne uden long-tail boats er bare for at sælge idéen om at der er fredfyldt. Dog er virkeligheden en helt anden! Der er massiv turisme på øen og spækfyldt med long-tail boats ude ved netop den strand der er taget billeder af uden long-tail boats (mega skuffende), desuden er øen propfyldt med turister. Koh Lipe kommer vi IKKE tilbage til. Det er simpelthen for crazy og lige til at få stress af.

Personalet virker SÅ ligeglade og absolut ikke servicemindet. Generelt trænger hotellet til en kærlig hånd. Poolen er slidt og madrasser på solsenge er møgbeskidte. Gulvet omkring poolen også møgbeskidt. Vi fandt bl.a. gammel mad, en negl (?!) og en kakerlak på gulvet.
