The 4 bed dorm only has a tiny window and hence it gets really hot in the afternoon.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Area felt safe, 8 lockers in the room for 6 beds so good amount of space to store things, there’s a terrace with a few chairs and space to hang your wet clothes.
The room was dark and smelled strongly of a mix of humidity and body odor, even though there were no other guests. There was a couch in a common room which had some nasty stains. The pictures on the website don’t reflect what the room really looks like.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Tenía una reserva por Booking, sin embargo al consultarle a la recepcionista no encontraba mi reserva y solicito la ayuda de otro empleado y el joven si encontró mi reserva en sistema y me informo que desafortunadamente no había cupo disponible, a pesar de tener mi reserva activa y me expresó sus disculpas. En ese orden de ideas no recomiendo a Samia Hostel.

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026La ubicación es excelente para los que quieren estar cerca del area comercial de Bucaramanga. La habitación doble para pareja estuvo bien, pero no tiene TV. El baño está limpio, y es compartido, pero sin shampú. La mesa de ping pong está muy bien, y prestan pelotas y raquetas gratis.
Luego de las 11 pm no se puede hacer Check-in.

Reviewed Apr 19, 2026L’hôtel est jolie et bien conçu. C’est chaleureux. Il y a un café qui propose des boissons de bonnes qualités ainsi que des pâtisseries. Les volontaires à l’accueil était agréable. Ma chambre était spacieuse avec un grand ventilateur. Les douches sont propres et spacieuses.
Il n’y a pas d’espace fumeurs, pour fumer il faut aller à l’extérieur sur le toit sans assises. Ou devant l’établissement sans assises

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026The location is very good, easy to find, it is quiet at night. There is lockers in the dorm. Bathroom was clean. Kitchen is complete. Coffee place downstairs. Beds are comfortable and there is a place to charge your phone next to your bed.
The room has no ventilation, it feels and smells like that. Some fans dont work, but it can be quite warm in the beginning of the night. It is very basic, but the price is also not too expensive.

Reviewed Nov 7, 2025Es el peor hostal que e pisado, afortunadamente corri con la suerte de que me dieron unas llaves que no eran de la puerta y me dejaron por fuera, tuve que irme a dormir en otro lado.
El lugar es cutre, literal es un albergue de esos de habitantes de calle, por la ubicacion se piensa que es una opcion calidad precio, pero JAMAS, NI POR ERROR SE HOSPEDEN EN ESE LUGAR. Sucio, cutre, caluroso, el ruido es insoportable, no hay personal, los que atienden son disque voluntarios y no saben nada del hostel. Tras de todo el hostel comparte espacios con una cafeteria donde todo el dia estan con musica a alto volumen. Todo mal en este sitio.

las habitaciones deben mejorarlas en cuanto a los Televisores, ya que en la habitación que me correspondió los altavoces del tv no funcionaban, por otra parte, la tapa del baño está muy vieja y por mas limpieza, huele a feo; además, aunque hay wifi en el hostel gratis para los huespedes, hay algunas partes donde no llega bien y fué el caso de mi habitación "sarrapios". Tambien, podrian dejar una cobija complementaria, ya que solo dejan el tendido normal de la cama pero no una cobija. (todo esto para el caso de las habitaciones privadas con baño).
