Die Ladies im Restaurant/ an der Bar waren suuuper lieb und professionell. Haben die Situation super gemeistert. Zimmer sind super, Ausstattung wie es sein muss, 1 Duschvorhang oder Duschwand wäre besser gewesen aber ging auch so. Waren wirklich zufrieden.

Vielleicht war das Krankheitsbedingt aber an einem Feiertag, zu einem FCB Spiel nur 2 Kellner und 1 Bardame am Abend da zu haben ist nicht ideal. 1h Wartezeit aufs Essen. Wie gesagt, wenns krankheitsbedingt war oder krin Personal findet, sagen wir nichts.

A very decent hotel with correct location for my tasks.. A somewhat controversial practice of cleaning every third day to save the planet worked, at least for this case.

The most problematic part was WiFi: unstable, frequently stalled and 404 errors. For the location in University campus next to a congress centre this is a big problem. I was also surprised by hot water: shower was OK but not the tab, where it was quickly getting cold.

Gemütliches Zimmer in guter Lage für unsere Notwendigkeiten. Gutes Frühstück!

Das Zimmer war sehr kalt trotz moderater Außentemperatur. Die Heizung/Klimaanlage ließ sich nicht regulieren. Das Reinigungspersonal hat unseren Pyjama eingesteckt. Leider blieb ein Nachfragen bereits am gleichen Tag erfolglos! Es wurde lediglich ein Zettel fürs House Keeping geschrieben. Entschädigung Fehlanzeige, man würde es bedauern... damit schien das Problem für das Hotel gelöst. In der Dusche rundherum Schimmelflecken und einige Staubflusen im Zimmer, sonst Sauberkeit völlig in Ordnung. Betten sehr weich, Kissen nicht so wirklich bequem, das ist vielleicht Geschmackssache...

Sehr zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter, hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet, Abendessen im Restaurant sehr gut, es gab keinen Grund zur Beanstandung. Toller Service. Große Tiefgarage mit direktem Hotelzugang.

Die Reinigung des Zimmers war in Ordnung, jedoch gibt es Kleinigkeiten, die man verbessern könnte. Als Beispiel, neue Bettwäsche wird aufgezogen, das Bad geputzt, aber die Wollmäuse auf dem Boden bleiben liegen.

Al entrar nos preguntan si para estar tranquilos no nos limpiaban la habitación hasta el 3º día, dado que íbamos a estar 5 días; le decimos que no, que queremos que nos hagan la habitación a diario... solo fueron dos días y el 2º porque se lo recordamos, el ultimo día no teníamos ni papel higiénico ni gel: NO ES DE RECIBO EN UN MARRIOT DE 4 ESTRELLAS 2. Cenamos las dos primeras noches allí: la segunda las mesas del bar estaban llenas y como había gente en la parte de restaurante/desayunos preguntamos si nos podíamos sentar allí, su respuesta fue un seco NO; bajamos 20 minutos después y solo había 2 mesas ocupadas, así que nos sentamos y esperamos... y esperamos mas de 20 minutos hasta que la señora del bar se digno a venir, pedimos las bebidas y como no las traía ( mientras hablaba en alemán con otro cliente fuimos a por ellas, tuvo a mi hija otros 5 minutos de pie esperando a que se las diera ( y las tenia preparadas: literal: dárselas<) y que actuara mi hija de camarera. 3. servicio de recepción: pues depende, al principio y final muy bien, entremedias muy cortantes. mi queja fundamental : el trato del personal y la limpieza.

Trotz des ausdrücklichen Wunsches der täglichen Zimmereinigung hat es die ersten beide Tage nicht geklappt. Angeblich ist es nicht möglich eine KK zu hinterlegen um Barumsätze aufs Zimmer buchen zu lassen. Beim Frühstück sind immer einige Sachen vergriffen. Toaster defekt, Pfannkuchenmaschine defekt…

Das Zimmer war gut.

Wir waren 5 Nächte dort und hatten nur einmal Zimmerservice. Dieser kam sonntags Abends um 17 Uhr, als wir geschafft zurück ins Hotel kamen. Die Dusche lief nicht ab und setzte das Bad unter Wasser ind in den Ecken der Dusche war sehr viel Schimmel. Leider war der Haustechniker am Wochenende nicht im Haus und wir sollten uns abends wieder melden, damit die Kollegen uns ein neues Zimmer geben sollten. Das wsr schon sehr ärgerlich da wor den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren und nicht abends noch umziehen wollten. Die Tiefgarage kostete pro Tag 22 Euro und der Parkplatz vor dem Hotel war 200m weit weg.

Leider war eine vollständige Verdunkelung nicht möglich, da der Vorgang nicht sauber abschloss.

Das Parken ist eine mittelschwere Katastrophe. Es sind nicht einemal Hotelparkplätze zum Ein-/Ausladen vorhanden.

Solides umfangreiches Frühstück mit frischen Smoothies, Obst...etc. Tolle Stadtanbindung mit direkter U-Bahn vor der Tür.

Pobyt v Marriott Munich Garching zcela naplnil moje očekávání. Hotel je moderní, čistý a nabízí skvělý komfort i profesionální služby. Pokoj byl prostorný a odhlučněný, což zajistilo perfektní odpočinek. Lokalita v Garchingu je velmi praktická a obsluha na recepci byla velmi ochotná. Ráda se sem při další cestě vrátím.

Není co vytknout, vše bylo v pořádku a v souladu se značkou Marriott.

Moderne Unterkunft, Parkhaus vorhanden, Bar und Frühstück waren sehr gut. Klimaanlage, Zimmer mit Verbindungstür perfekt für Familien.

Sehr nettes Personal. Sauberes Hotel mit schöner Lobby und Bar. Wir haben dieses Hotel gebucht, da wir die Allianz Arena besucht haben. Bahn direkt hinter dem Hotel. Fazit: Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Parkplatz Info könnte noch ergänzt werden: In der Tiefgarage (22,00 €) oder auf dem öffentlichen Parkplatz, auf der Rückseite des Hotels (1 Tag für 1 €).

Perfekte Lage direkt an der U-Bahn und so nur wenig Aufwand für den Weg in die City, gutes Essen, sehr nettes Personal, moderne Ausstattung.

Das Parken erfolgt in der öffentlichen Tiefgarage und da sind die Preise ziemlich intensiv. Die Betten sind etwas hart.

Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt rundum zufrieden. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend, besonders angesichts der zentralen Lage mitten in der Stadt. Man kann den Ort wunderbar zu Fuß erkunden, und viele der besten Restaurants befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Auch im hauseigenen Restaurant kann man ausgezeichnet essen. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen: Alles war frisch, abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker. Unser Zimmer bestand aus zwei Räumen, war außergewöhnlich groß und im charmanten altbayerischen Stil eingerichtet. Besonders begeistert haben uns die vielen liebevollen kleinen Details, die für eine gemütliche und authentische Atmosphäre sorgen. Vom Balkon hatten wir einen herrlichen Blick auf die Berge. Das gesamte Zimmer war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Trotz der zentralen Lage konnten wir uns wunderbar erholen. Auch die freundliche Atmosphäre und der aufmerksame Service haben unseren Aufenthalt besonders angenehm gemacht. Diese Unterkunft verbindet bayerischen Charme, viel Platz, eine ausgezeichnete Lage und ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir können sie uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen!

Das Geschirr beim Frühstück war teilweise nicht richtig sauber.

Empfang beim Check-In war schon superfreundlich und gut gelaunt. Alle Räume sehr modern und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war der Wahnsinn. Sowohl die Honigwaben und die kleine Pancakemaschine waren der Hit für die Kinder. Auch beim Frühstück war das gesamte Personal superfreundlich und sehr schnell. Ob die Lage nun für einen Münchenurlaub ideal wäre muss jeder für sich entscheiden aber um in die Allianz Arena zu gehen perfekt.

Das müssten wir uns wirklich krampfhaft irgendwas ausdenken. Spontan fällt uns da nichts ein.

Skvělá lokalita na cestě z Prahy, přímo na U-Bahnu, cca. 15 minut do centra, 3 zastávky od Allianz Areny. Parkoviště jsme využili veřejné P+R, 2 min od hotelu, 1,- EUR na den. Hotel nový, čistý, byli jsme naprosto spokojeni.

Leider wurde beim Check-In nicht nochmal gesagt von wann bis wann das Frühstück ist. Ich wurde dann leider kurz nach 10 Uhr überrascht vom plötzlichen Ende. 😅

I loved how close ubahn station was, room was really cozy and clean - i loved it. Wifi was incredible, big windows that has blackout curtains and blinds as well. We loved how many lights and wall sockets the room had.

At first we had trouble understanding staff and we had a hard time trying to connect our phones to TV (we could not do it).

Wir waren für ein Konzert in der Allianz Arena dort und es war die perfekte Wahl, da in diese Richtung oft nicht zu viele Leute fahren, sodass man auch mit der Bahn sehr schnell dort ist. Die Anbindung ist grandios! In die Stadt braucht man ein klein wenig länger, aber das ist auch nicht schlimm.

Here before a flight out of Munich airport, good location for that but not near the city. very new modern structure, clean, but its 2026 and the wifi is barely existent. unacceptable and impossible to get work done. no fix- just a shrug from staff, suggesting this is a known problem no one has bothered to fix.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. There’s a variety of food as well.

The hotel is good, the rooms were clean. The food was also good and the facilities modern. The reason why I rate three stars is because I got a room with the bathroom that didn’t have a glass door at all, the staff said that a couple of rooms are like that and it’s by design, but I don’t agree, it was not good and taking a shower looked like a swimming pool.

I stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Munich Garching for three nights in July 2026 whilst visiting Munich to attend a concert at the Allianz Arena. The hotel's location is ideal for anyone attending events at the Allianz Arena, with excellent transport links making travel quick and convenient. Let me start with the positives. The hotel is modern, exceptionally clean, and the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options. Every member of staff I encountered was courteous and professional. Unfortunately, two of the three nights of our stay were significantly disrupted. During our first night, at around 4.00 a.m., we were repeatedly woken by a loud alarm coming from an adjoining room. Despite reporting it immediately, the source could not be identified by the hotel staff and the disturbance only ended when the occupant of the neighbouring room switched the alarm off. As a result, we lost a substantial amount of sleep. Our second night was uneventful. On our final night, after returning shortly after midnight from the concert, we discovered that none of the electrical outlets in our room were working. The only solution was to move us to another room, which meant packing all our belongings and relocating in the middle of the night. We eventually settled into the new room at around 2.00 a.m., leaving us exhausted for our journey home the following day. I brought both incidents to the hotel's attention after my stay. Whilst my complaint was acknowledged, I found the hotel's overall response to be disappointing and unsatisfactory. It is a pity because, apart from these two incidents, this is a very good hotel that I would have had no hesitation in recommending, particularly for anyone attending events at the Allianz Arena. However, having two of the three nights of our stay disrupted is not the standard I would expect from a Courtyard by Marriott property, and it inevitably overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable visit.

In the bathroom, which had a modern walk-in shower rather than a shower cabin, there was extensive black mould in the corners. It wasn't just a small amount along the silicone sealant, but a significant mould problem. This is simply unacceptable for a hotel of this standard—indeed, for any hotel—and it also poses a potential health risk.

Parkering i garage kostsde extra, personal när vi kom var otrevlig (asiatisk tjej som var rätt spydig). Hotellfrukost höll inte riktigt kvalitet för pengarna, stressad personal. Det stod att man skulle kunna casta till tv men wifi mm var rätt dåligt. För dom pengsrna borde ni kunna göra bättre.

I would like to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, the room was not cleaned properly before our arrival. There was visible dust throughout the room, including under the bed. In addition, the extra toilet paper roll left in the bathroom had clearly been there for a long time, as it was dusty and even wet. I also requested a slightly late check-out as a courtesy, but my request was handled without any understanding or flexibility. Another major disappointment was the breakfast. I booked my stay with breakfast included for the entire duration, yet I only had breakfast on one day because the food quality and selection did not meet acceptable standards. Furthermore, I found the reception staff to be lacking professionalism. They showed very little understanding of guests' needs and were not helpful when concerns were raised. Finally, the room and breakfast did not match the expectations created by the photos and descriptions provided during the booking process. The actual experience was significantly different from what was advertised. Overall, this stay fell well below my expectations, and I hope you will take these issues seriously to improve the experience for future guests

Our experience at Courtyard by Marriott Munich Garching was, unfortunately, the most disappointing hotel experience my family and I have ever had. We arrived at the hotel shortly after midnight on 29–30 June, following a late flight into Munich Airport. We had a fully confirmed Booking.com reservation for two rooms (two adults and one child) and presented both our reservation confirmation and our passports at check-in. The receptionist informed us that our reservation could not be found in the hotel's system due to a technical issue and asked us to wait in the lobby while it was being resolved. We waited for almost three hours, repeatedly returning to the reception desk for updates. During that time, no practical solution was offered. Despite travelling with a young child, our request to be given at least one room temporarily while the technical issue was investigated was refused. I also suggested creating a new reservation or assigning available rooms so that the administrative issue could be resolved later, but this was also refused. At approximately 1:45 AM, I contacted Booking.com. Their representative confirmed that our reservation was valid and repeatedly attempted to contact the hotel by telephone, but no one answered. As no solution could be found, Booking.com cancelled our reservation free of charge, even though it had originally been non-refundable. Shortly afterwards, we had no option but to leave the hotel, book an Uber, and find accommodation elsewhere in the middle of the night, arriving at another hotel around 2:45 AM and incurring additional transport and accommodation costs. Before leaving, I politely asked the receptionist for her name and requested to speak with the manager on duty. She declined to provide her full name and informed me that no supervisor was available. What disappointed us most was not the technical problem itself. Technical failures can happen in any business. The real issue was the complete lack of guest care throughout the incident. During almost three hours in the lobby, we received no meaningful updates, no practical assistance, and no indication of when or how the situation might be resolved. Following my complaint, both Marriott International and the hotel apologised for the experience and informed me that the incident had been reviewed internally. I appreciate their response and hope that meaningful improvements will be made to prevent other guests from experiencing a similar situation. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel and would not choose to stay here again.

Uitgebreid ontbijt, mooie ruimte - hoewel weinig terrastafels voorzien waren om te ontbijten (maar kan ook gelegen hebben dat het niet meer zo warm was - beperkt aanbod aan snacks maar toch voldoende

ik had een vraag ivm met mijn Mariott reward programma maar ik kon niet inloggen waardoor mijn punten helaas niet op mijn account kwamen, viel een beetje tegen terwijl ze dit manueel perfect kunnen doen (eerdere ervaringen in andere Mariott hotels waar ze dit helemaal geen probleem vonden)

Das Hotel liegt im Forschungszentrum von Garching bei München. Es handelt sich um ein typisches Business-Hotel ohne eigenen Charme aber gut für ein paar Tage zum Arbeiten und für Meetings.

I thought it was close to airport. Terrible location.

The staff are poorly trained. Lack of staff at reception. The location is terrible if you’re aiming to get to the airport. There are plenty more better options. The hotel is on a student campus. So the party noise was loud till the early hours of the morning. It’s paid parking if you have a car. I ended up paying £5 + £22 for over night. Nothing is near by (food, market, etc). Don’t stay there unless you’re a student visiting the research facilities

Dies wurde in den Booking Informationen nicht angegeben (sollte unbedingt mit in die Zimmerinformationen aufgenommen werden!) und wir wurden beim Checkin auch nicht darüber informiert. Ich erwarte bei einem Hotel dieser Klasse und Kosten eine tägliche Reinigung mit der Option diese auszusetzen. Zumindest einen aktiven Hinweis. Nicht nur verteilte Flyer. Nach einer Beschwerde wurde das Zimmer nachträglich gereinigt. Jedoch am folgenden Tag wieder erst nach einer weiteren Beschwerde. Uns wurde versichert, dass hier etwas nicht richtig gelaufen ist, aber …

Here’s an updated version incorporating that point: I cannot accept that a 4-star hotel does not provide even a bottle of water in the room—not even one available for purchase. If you get thirsty during the night, you have to get dressed, go downstairs, and buy water from the market. Equally disappointing is the fact that the room is cleaned only every three days. That might be acceptable for a self-catering apartment, but not for a room in a 4-star hotel. Presenting these cost-cutting measures as being “green” is unconvincing. It feels more like a way to save money and reduce staffing than a genuine commitment to sustainability. This version is clear, factual, and likely to have more impact in a public review because it focuses on the guest experience without sounding exaggerated.

The hotel is outside the city center, however it is accessible easily with public transport; a single U line will take you to the city center. The atmosphere is good. The staff was excellent and worked very hard to give us the room even if we have arrived very early. The breakfast menu was very rich and delicious. If you're visiting the science center in Munich, where the university TUM and the institute Max Planck is located, we highly recommend this place.

Tolles Hotel, sehr freundliches und sehr kompetentes Personal. Die Zimmer sind bequem und sauber. Das Frühstück umfangreich und alles ist frisch. Das Hotel ist perfekt an die U-Bahn angeschlossen. Ich kann wirklich nur jedem Empfehlen.

Es gibt nichts wirklich zu bemängeln, vielleicht nur dass man nicht sofort den Eingang sieht, aber nach kurzem Suchen haben wir es gefunden. Vielleicht eine kurze Info dazu in der Beschreibung wäre super.

Top Hotel, sauber und modern eingerichtet. Die Lage an der U6 Richtung München ist super( etwa 20 min mit U6). Da das Hotel am Forschungszentrum/der Uni liegt, haben die Cafés im Umkreis am Wochenende leider zu. Man erreicht aber in 5 Minuten mit dem Bus oder nach einer Station mit der U6 Garching.Dort gibt es viele Restaurants und Bäcker (Tipp: Augustiner Bräu!). Gute Lage zu Allianz Arena!

Ein schönes, modernes, komfortables Zimmer und ein guter Preis !

Die Zimmer sind geräumig und verfügen alle über die erwartbare Ausstattung: großer Fernseher, genügend Ablagemöglichkeiten, Amenities, bequeme Betten. Das Frühstück ist von exzellenter Qualität und vielseitig. Auch das Mittagessen im Rahmen unseres zweitägigen Meetings war hervorragend. Was ebenfalls hervorstechend war, war die Freundlichkeit des Servicepersonals im Restaurant!

Ich mag es ja, wenn abends in der Hotelbar ein bisschen Stimmung herrscht und gute Laune vorhanden ist. Hier war das alles sehr steril und wenig einladend... o.k., ist halt ein reines Business Hotel in einem Gewerbepark.

Receptionists took way too long to check people in. Restaurant personell kept stressing me out about finishing my food at breakfast. Faucet in bathroom sprayed water all over the floor/me if not super careful.

Os funcionários foram todos super atenciosos, simpático e respeitosos. O quarto está super organizado e as camas muitíssimo confortáveis. Com com pequeno-almoço fantástico

Location is great, good restaurant.

No door in the shower, which leads to terrible wetness in the room, and no exhaust fan. Clean service is every three nights, which is not enough. System failure prevents early check-in, and we have to wait for more than 7 hours in the lobby.
