Heating - 3 heaters made available only 1 worked being a small fan heater. The other two heaters didn't work and possibly unknown to the motel staff. Being an upstairs unit the lighting to the stairs was not working so had to use my cell phone light to see and unlock the door,

the toilet was very small and situated in a awkward place facing towards the front door I found the motel on trivago and only booked because it specified a hot pool and childrens play ground as we were travelling with our 6yr old grandson but neither were at the site

Reviewed May 3, 2026We had a long drive and were in the hotel late in dark. To our surprise, Ms Sheryn contacted with us and saved the key and a bottle of milk for us before she was out of office. In this way, we were still able to stay in the clean room even late after a whole day's traveling. It was very nice!

The car park out the front of the room was tricky to get into with the car in the next room there but not a problem at all.

Reviewed Jul 27, 2025It had all important facilities important for long stays (ex. Furnace, kettle, shower, toilet, washing machine and dryer…..). Also the owners were very friendly and would help us with whatever they have.
When cooking, the food fumes would stick into the whole apartment, opening the windows would help a little. It would be better if there was a vent installed on top of the stove.

Reviewed Apr 14, 2025Nice quiet motel, room was a good size. Kitchen had a full sized stove (not that I used it). Bathroom had body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The lady who checked me in was very friendly. Good parking right outside the door. A little out of the main city area.
The outside door needed a curtain on as a bright street light shone through the glass.

Our friends had the studio unit 12A which was very small and very noisy because of the people in the upstairs unit! Beware!

Reviewed Oct 18, 2024I was a little sceptical when I opened the door to my room because the room itself looked like it was out of the 50's (the funny little telephone recess, the pull-cord lights, and the built-ins in the bedroom). However, I had to take that all back! The room was warm, the bed was comfortable, I had a tonne of space, and the shower pressure was insane! The whole space was beautifully clean and had no funky smells at all (good or bad). I also liked that the motel cat came to visit me when I was stuck working at the dining table all day :)
On the first night, I couldn't figure out how to turn the main light off. (It was one of the pull-cord switches that I noticed the next day)
