Hampton Inn and Suites New Orleans Convention Center

BREAKFAST WAS GREAT. OUR ROOM WAS HUGE. JETTED WHIRLPOOL TUB. VAULTED CEILING WITH 5 LARGE WINDOWS

The building and staff

Nothing

Very clean, room was very comfortable. Staff was very kind and helpful. Valet guys were awesome. Breakfast was good with a nice variety.

Good location

Couldn't find ice machine and breakfast didn't have a lot of options

Friendly service!

The staff were amazing. If you are going on a cruise, this is the place to stay. We were able to do long term parking while we were on the cruise and they have a free shuttle that takes you right to the terminal.

Staff

Not told about 44 night parking

Everything was great! Will recommend to friends and family. Will be my go to hotel when I visit New Orleans.

NA

The room was exceptional, most comfortable, spacious, JUST GREAT!

Nothing!

Breakfast was very good, rooms were clean and spacious.

I called the front desk several times from my room and nobody answered the phone. We used the shuttle to go to the cruise port but when we returned still nobody answered the phone to let them know we were back. Very unprofessional.

Everything was good.

The valet service kept a line. The breakfast on Saturday morning was half cooked( potatoes and oatmeal).

quiet

It’s central location.

The 1 hour wait, after arriving because the room wasn’t cleaned and ready

Location was good

1st room had cold running water for shower and washbasin. Breakfast was worst we had in USA and floors filthy where waffle maker was. Staff unfriendly. Parking prices shocking when you are being charged a far bit for room

Room was great clean and huge

Paid parking for one night stay should add $50 to any stay really sad

The room was very comfortable.

I didn't like the limited parking, and the property location.

Service Environment

I liked the cleanliness and openness of the facility.

The parking situation could have had better directions. Drove around it twice and then pulled into the garage and was immediately yelled at to get out that I couldn't be there. When asking what to do he just kept repeating you can't be there.

It was a beautiful and clean and the staff was excellent.

First night shower water was very cold. My bathroom toilet over flooded. My 50$ never came returned back to me!

My only complaint was that there was empty toiletry bottles in the bathroom when we arrived. We went to the desk to ask for more and the lady was rude but did provide us with 2 mini bottles. The next day we had to ask again and the gentleman was so nice and gave us the large bottle that goes in the bathroom. Breakfast was good. Location was great. Shuttle service was so great!

see above comment

I enjoyed the accommodations, and the location area, it was a very nice stay.. the shuttle to and from the port was extremely nice, as well as breakfast accomodations

The pool wasn't clean efficiently, or the grounds around the pool, wasn't swept completely clean, and towels weren't adequately supplied, but on the scream of things, all was well. OK 👌🏾

The pool area, super chill

The breakfast wasnt good

This was one of the best stays we have ever had at any hotel. The facility was beautiful. So clean. Great location.

Breakfast on day one. Day two no meat howler the breakfast was good. The first bedroom had roaches. We were moved to a suite and it was absolutely gorgeous.

The young lady with the short Ponytails attitude or her lack of attention to detail as shes on the phone when shes tending to clientele

The breakfast room had coffee available before the breakfast service started. The selection of item for breakfast was very good. It was very clean everywhere, and the decor was pleasant. Everything was tasty!

Can't think of anything I feel needs improvement. Was one of the nicest hotel stays I have had. Not disappointed with anything.

Close to the port.

The bed was not very comfortable. Filter in air conditioner dirty. We rinsed it off and the room smelled better.

Super close to the cruise terminal, very easy driving the day of check out. The staff made the stay personal and everyone made sure we were taken care of.

I really wish parking for one night was cheaper.

It was nice. Good location, good breakfast.

They appear to ONLY have valet parking. What they don't tell you and you find out after you leave is that they are going to charge you $44 plus tax for it. So our girl scout troop that was going on a cruise was charged that without knowing we were going to be. The girls worked hard for this trip and it's a shame that they did this to their troop account. It feels very dishonest. Definitely not keeping with girl scouts honest and fair.

I like the location. The bed was comfortable. The area was safe and peaceful.

I did not like the house keeping staff. My room was not cleaned one time in 4 days. I had to ask for clean bathroom linens and for the trash to be changed. I had to text the front desk for them to prompt them to come. When she did finally come up to give me linen she said I’ll be back and never came back. I went to the front desk and inquired on why they never cleaned the room and the housekeeping lied and stated she came at noon but we left at noon on Friday and didn’t come back till about 6:00 and the same on Saturday. Bathroom ceiling over shower had traces of mold. They need to have checks behind housekeeping.

Love the convenience to the French Quarter. The beds were soft and comfy. We stay again.

They had some meadow inside the restroom. Need to get it fixed before someone get sick from it. Room 557, also the desk was broke that separated the beds someone can get hurt told the young man about it. The breakfast was good but had oatmeal the entire weekend with cheese omelet and you can taste like the freezer.

The parking fee for my car was not noted during the reserving of the room

Comfortable

Nothing

I love the Valet parking staff, the Breakfast bar.

The didn't have comfortable chair or a single couch to sit available...you had to sit on the bed to sit up to do something your need to do.

Breafast was great!,,,, Vast in options. Very nice job.

Parking options

Better than expected.

The room was clean, the beds and pillow were awesome

The upgraded room was very instagramable and we felt like living the dream in New Orleans. We also utilized the gym and it is just what we needed. The hotel is very accessible to the city.

Small pool

The location was excellent. Was able to walk around and be close to the scenery within minutes

Could you add a different choice of meat like bacon and sausage to choose from, other than that, everything was extraordinary

Service & gastvrijheid

De kamers. Prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding.

Husband enjoyed the breakfast

No transportation from train station

Super Lage, sehr großes und sauberes Hotel. Professionell geführt, top Preis - Leistungsverhältnis! Weiter so! Zimmer waren super sauber.

Comfortable, close to cruise ship with a free shuttle.

Some staff didn't understand English

The high ceilings and tall windows. I was very spacious.

I would have loved a detachable shower head.

Didn’t care for the breakfast. Need something different

Breakfast

Desayunos, Servicio

Everything was perfect at this place. The food , the employees clean room very friendly from the parking to the room was great

More breakfast options

breakfast was delicious - great snack and drink options at the front desk welcome area - bar in the common area made great drinks - bartender very friendly

Location. Price. Free breakfast.

Nothing

Everything location and the Staff the Place it self was Great

Parking but that's just for us 60 and older

Only thing I didn’t like is the parking

The hotel is immaculate. Great pool area. The bar, breakfast, and other areas are superb. Best hotel I've ever seen not at a resort.

Valet service was very slow. We chose public parking.

Breakfast bar comfortable bed

The surprise $100 off my card upon checking for the 2 nights. Suppose to be fully refunded

Have to pay valet to park per day

Location was excellent close to the convention center.

No oatmilk available for coffee at breakfast. Window curtains in the room didn't cover the whole window, so sleeping through morning light was not an option.

Great clean room, enjoyed the breakfast

Comfortable bed

The staff was rude

The carpet smelled bad

The carpet smelled moldy. My son was sneezing the entire time

The room was very comfortable. I enjoyed the seating area for breakfast.

The swimming pool was small.

Close to the cruise port

Friendly staffing to clean environment great location

Everything was perfect

The property is old nothing like the picture and ugly

It was old for the cost over stayed at better hotels for a cheaper price with that Hilton name it should be more up to date

Spacious & comfortable, great location

Dirt kicked up from the whirlpool tub lines, making it unusable (shower was fine, just not the whirlpool feature)

The room was clean and spacious, the location is a bit off centre, close to the cruise port, about 30 minutes to French Quater. National WWII Museum and local Warehouse District are very close.

The breakfast was very basic and rather dissapointing. The hotel is close to a very noisy highway, air conditioning units added to the noise.

The staff were exceptional. Price was good, lobby area was exceptional.

A curtain to a wall, not exceptionally clean. Room needed some updating, vast difference between the public areas and where you sleep.

Clean! Comfy bed! Good shower and shower pressure! Got an early check in! Quiet location! Mall close by and convention center across the street. A bit out of the way from Bourbon ST but I didn’t mind at all.

No complaints.

Location convenient for our trip and cruise, we love that they provide shuttle to the port as well as the kindness and friendliness of the staff

Variety of breakfast options, could be better if it varies every single morning

Estrutura excelente

Location, design

Too many people at the breakfast and as a result very dirty floor after all the food. Specially after people doing waffles.

Location and staff were kind and it was affordable

Convenient location

Na

Great property in an excellent location. Room made for a comfortable stay on a long trip. Staff was super friendly. Great selection for breakfast.

On a personal level bed was too firm for my comfort.

Everything great location clean

Maybe pool hours could be longer

I liked the location to the convention center.

Our bathroom started leaking from the light fixture on the first night. They switched our rooms. Mind you it was midnight and we had games the next morning. The valet was HORRIBLE!! PARKING THE CAR TO CHECK INTO VALET WAS AWFUL. IT TOOK OVER AN HOUR IN THE VALET LINE TO LEAVE BECAUSE THEY WERE PARKING OUR CARS SIX BLOCKS AWAY.

When you first walk I. Beautiful. Staff was rude they looked irritated to have a biracial couple.

Staff was very rude . They were rude because we are biracial. That is how I felt. Because of our stay I plan to never come to New Orleans.

Too far away from the centre, given the city's abysmal public transport. The hotel is dated. The AC was very loud. The breakfast was pretty sad.

I did not get a receipt from my stay and I need it how do I get it?

I liked that the valet was quick to get my car and even loaded my bags for me upon checking out.

There wasn't anything bad about my stay.

The upgraded room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location was convenient for the cruise terminal and nearby attractions.

Check-in and check-out did not feel very friendly. I was talked down to for booking through a third party. The room safe also would not open on cruise morning with our passports and personal items inside. Rudy got it fixed quickly, which we appreciated, but it was stressful.
