Las Balsas Relais & Chateaux

Las Balsas es bellísima, el contexto frente al lago y la decoración de todo el lugar, le da el toque que hacen de una estadía una gran experiencia. Lo mejor que tienen sin dudarlo, es la atención del personal, te hacen sentir como en casa, son atentos, respetuosos. La comida del restó es excelente. Volvería a elegir este lugar para pasar unos dias en VLA. Lo recomiendo 100%

Excellent food and wonderful views. However, the room service and housekeeping fell below expectations, particularly for a Relais & Châteaux property.

The restaurant is excellent, with impeccable service and a true Michelin-level standard. The spa is very good, the pool is great, and the hotel’s views are stunning. The main area that fell below expectations was the inconsistent housekeeping and room cleaning. For a Relais & Châteaux property, I expected a higher and more consistent standard. The gym is also quite small for a hotel that positions itself around lifestyle, fitness, and wellness.

Excelente hotel para desconectar, disfrutar de las vistas y relajarse. A diferencia de otros lugares con mucho ruido de niños, aquí se valora el silencio, la armonía y el descanso. Ofrece espacios ideales para disfrutar en pareja, con instalaciones privadas y servicio de catering. Destaco especialmente la calidez y atención del personal, siempre están en todos los detalles, desde hacerte reservas en restaurantes hasta sorprenderte con invitaciones a degustaciones de vinos. Si planeas un viaje en pareja, ES EL LUGAR INDICADO SIN NINGUNA DUDA . ¡Sin duda volveremos!

Puntos a mejorar, la cama no nos resultó cómoda. Nos hubiera gustado que no nos hicieran esperar 1h para darnos la habitación ya que opacó la primera impresión del hermoso lugar. Por otro lado el acceso es un poco complicado debido a la cantidad de posos de las calles y el mal estado de las mismas.

Equipe incrível, lugar maravilhoso. Perfeito pra descansar. Nada “não podia”. O hotel disponibilizava e tornava tudo possível para nossa experiência.

Lo más destacable es el personal, su eficiencia, su trato amable y cercano que hacen que te sientas totalmente seguro y relajado. El enclave es excepcional. La arquitectura es lanzada, el casco central es country, muy acogedor, los apartamentos independientes de gran tamaño, enormes paredes de vidrio que conectan con las montañas, el lago y el bosque con un refinado interior moderno. El spa tiene una gran piscina interior que se continúa con la exterior de aguas cálidas. Un plus fue una noche de degustación vertical de los vinos malbec Mendel por dos excelentes Somelier, que son parte del personal del HOTEL

Las Balsas é um hotel super confortável, staff gentil e eficiente, a localização é maravilhosa. A vista do lago. O ar e a natureza da Patagônia na porta do hotel. O quarto era um espetáculo. A comida espetacular. Eu não tenho palavras para descrever o SPA.

El trato del personal es excelente. Las instalaciones, vistas y servicios ofrecidos, muy poco comunes. La comida y tragos es espectacular.

Las calles que conducen desde la ruta al hotel, son ruinosas y complicadas conducen lluvia. Las habitaciones no tienen aislacion acústica, se escuchan puertas, voces y movimientos muebles / equipaje; tanto del pasillo como de las habitaciones contiguas o superiores.

O hotel é muito bonito, decorado com gosto, situado em uma praia de lago muito bonita. Com piscina quente interna e externa agradavel. A comida é gostosa.

O quarto tem uma bela vista para o lago mas é muito pequeno e o armario é diminuto. Nao ha peignoir ou chinelo no quarto. Para ir ao spa o acesso é externo e no frio isso nao é agradavel. O restaurante é bom mas o preço é muito mais caro que nos outros restaurantes gourmets da cidade. O café da manha nao é buffet e as porçoes sao diminutas. Tudo é muito contado neste hotel; sentimos à todo momento que faziam economia. Pedimos um cocktail à tarde e nao serviam espontaneamente amendoim ou azeitonas como acompanhamento. Para um Relais & Château, ele deixa a desejar; o serviço é sumario. Alguns empregados nao sao nada simpaticos.

Restaurante uma decepção,no jantar,poucas opções,sem criatividade,pedimos atenção a certo tipos de temperos conforme pedido no ato do preenchimento solicitado pelo propio hotel,mesmo assim foi usado nos pratos,sem ação para resolver, enfim acabamos aceitando os pratos ,que ja estavam frios devido a falta de atitude para resolver o problema Cafe da manhã satisfatório,mas nada de extraordinário

This beautiful property is set amongst the trees overlooking the lake with panoramic views of the mountains. Lovely gardens and trails for walking. A relaxing pool and spa area . Friendly helpful staff and a great dining room . A stunning lake side retreat.

We liked everything about the property!

My wife and I stayed for one night. The staff were truly amazing (helpful, kind and very cordial). Beautiful setting, a large room with an amazing view. Spa was excellent and the three course dinner was fantastic.

The tucked away location on the lake is heaven and it is a short drive to the sweet little town. The real “special sauce” is how the staff provides 5 star service and creates an intimate, relaxed atmosphere without being obsequious.

Dinner menu was excellent but a little limited for our taste, but it is hard to please everyone on this.

Lo peor fue el cuarto, con placares de MUY mala calidad, UNA CORTINA DE TELA que separaba el cuarto con el pasillo del baño y muebles de baja calidad para esa categoría de hotel.- Fuimos a una Suite y cualquier hotel de 4 estrellas supera la calidad de los muebles del cuarto.-

El acesso, por un camino de tierra mal mantenido, para un Relais & Château no es acceptable. No pudimos quedarnos en el hotel porque, apesar de "aceptar mascotas" en Booking, al llegar nos dijeron que el peso maximo para una mascota era de 15 Kg. Estou cansado de estas complicaciones con Booking y ciertos hoteles. MUCHA PERDIDA DE TIEMPO.

The location was stunning, the views across the lake were breathtaking and fantastic to wake up to in the morning. The spa facilities were outstanding. Sadly, we dint have time to have a massage but we hear the Sophia is an excellent massage and wellness therapist! The staff were all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. It has great access to lots of walks, national park and nearby town of Villa Angostora which has lots of great restaurants. We also visited Puerto Manzano which is a 10 minute drive away-Del Campo for lunch was fabulous! It had a cosy and stylish interior. The food was great.

We stayed for 5 nights and perhaps had the smallest room in the hotel. This was very small with limited space for unpacking clothes and storing our luggage. It was also lacking some basic amenities- eg No robes or slippers provided-had to get them ourselves from the spa. Attention to detail in housekeeping could’ve better ie no coffee replaced and flannels removed and not replaced through the stay. Our room was also very light and the roller blinds weren’t sufficient. The hotel also hosted a party on day 2 directly below our room- which ended up being very noisy as just above the location. Generally our room felt noisy and a lack of privacy. Some services were gratuitously expensive ie $140 for kayak rental and laundry most expensive I’ve ever had anywhere in the world! The restaurant, although very good, is also very expensive compared to the nearby restaurant options.

It’s good place, but not great property that you expect from R&C. Small things that make a place great were missed. We were asked what welcome drink we liked - but the drink never arrived. There’s no info on WiFi or much in the room. - had to call front desk to get the password. The exhaust/vent fan in bathroom comes on for only 2-3 mins at a time . Too short. We had to switch it on multiple times. Room not entirely clean - pieces of cookies under the sofa etc., nespresso machine in the room - but, need to pay 2$ per pod. Feels cheap to nickel and dime guests

La unica critica es que en tiempo de invierno el trayecto del hotel al spa es al aire libre y por lo tanto resulta un tanto desagradable el trayecto -si bien corto- entre el hotel y el spa.

A propriedade é lindíssima, a beira lago, com piscina aquecida externa e oferece diversos serviços de passeios e excursões! Local onde oferece um excelente restaurante Michelin e suítes bem ornamentadas e diferenciadas!

Os travesseiros estavam muito finos e o café da manhã é a La Carte, o que nos limita a pedir um prato principal de café por hóspede… pouca variedade e um pouco constrangedor para pedir para repetir! A carta de espumante também achei fraca..

הגענו עבור ירח הדבש שלנו והמלון נמצא על האגם ונותן אווירה רומנטית ומיוחדת. הספא מצוין, החדר גדול ונוח והארוחת בוקר טעימה.

חווית השירות לא מלאה ולמרות שהצוות מאוד נחמד הם הרגישו לא כל כך מקצועיים. לא ניתן להישאר בספא אחרי צ'ק אאוט. הארוחת בוקר קטנה ולא משביעה.

Lovely location although tricky to find in the dark! Lovely staff especially Fleur who gave us help on where to go etc Unfortunately it was raining when we arrived and the following morning so we couldn’t take full advantage of the activities. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Lovely staff in the dining room. Near to the town so easy to eat in town too.

It felt really tired .. and way overpriced for its tiredness. The spa area had a grimy looking mat around the pool. All of the chair covers outside looked a little worn. Charging for water seems extreme when the rooms are already pricey. As a person staying you didn’t feel very looked after! We had a great dinner and we were going to sit by the fire afterwards but no one had thought to keep the fire alight. Felt like a manager was missing. Young friendly staff but no real direction. I have worked in the industry for 50 years so I don’t think I am being too harsh.

The property is in an excellent location .. from the room you get a view of the lake and mountain .. the staff went out of their way to serve the guest .. spa was excellent .. food can improve

What to say, we arrived late and were treated to a GnT while our bags were taken to our Villa. It was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed…seriously!!!! The pool and spa facilities were first rate with robes, slippers, a pitcher of mint water and fresh fruit! Indoor/outdoor pool was perfect (warm), and the yoga area was great for a stretch before my swim. My husband used the workout room and we both took showers there before making our way to breakfast! Breakfast was delicious ! The staff was amazing and accommodating! The bed was a little hard for my husband so they brought and put on a topper for us. Also their turndown service brought down the motorized blinds. What do you say when you bring up the two story blinds to a magnificent view (sunrise for us)…..Heaven! That was the official name of our villa, and baby it sure was!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! 🙏 😊. BTW….don’t miss out on their nature trail.

That we could only stay one night!

The staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive. The room was comfortable with an unforgettable view, and the spa was so lovely that we didn't want to spend time anywhere else. Highly recommend the restaurant degustation with the wine tasting... it was a highly considered menu with impeccable service. Absolutely wonderful stay - we didn't want to leave!

We would have appreciated more clarity that the breakfast was included in our stay. We didn't realize this until checking out, so we didn't fully take advantage during our stay.

This was the best place we stayed in all of Argentina. The chateaus is magical - relaxing, beautiful, well appointed, luxurious, intimate. The room was spacious and lovely. The views are absolutely unreal. The services was 5 star. Its really amazing and we can't wait to return.

The breakfast was ok but it was not the type of brunch that other hotels of that level were offering

the room was too small for the price paid. didn´t think it was a good value for money alternative I took a trout catched by us to be cooked at the hotel and they charged as the most expensive dish of the restaurant

in particular the personalised service and attention to detail.

I would only suggest to connect the spa building to the rooms building because in winter it can get really cold to walk wet from the pool to your room

Pasamos unos dias hermosos en este hotel emblematico de Villa la Angostura. El entorno, la calidez y la atencion es lo que mas destaco. La comida, un capitulo a parte: espectacular!! Fuimos muy bien recibidos y atendidos por el personal, siempre dispuestos a ayudarnos. Lo unico que puedo criticar es la habitacion que nos toco (se que hay mejores)... era chica y al baño le falta modernizarse. Tambien puedo decir que nos costo llegar las primeras veces, los carteles desde la ruta no estan muy visibles y de noche no hay luces en los caminos, asi que, a veces, se nos hace dificil. Pero esto no opaco nuestra hermosa estadia en Las Balsas. Super recomendable!!
