We loved everything! The resort is beautiful, the little bunnies everywhere is adorable, the staff friendly, the room clean and comfortable? We especially loved our deck.

It was a great stay. Our whole family enjoyed it a lot. My son and daughter had a great time in the pool, in the game room, with bunnies, bonfire marshmallows and face painting. Lots of events every day.

The buffet breakfast is good with a lot of variety and there are plenty of choices to fill you up. The nightly entertainment gives you something to do for few hours while you relax and enjoy a drink. Walking on the beach is fun and the view is quite the site. Just being that close to the ocean and watching the waves and the tide come and go can be very relaxing. There are a mix of people from all over and that makes for opportunities to meet different kinds of people with different views and opinions and sometimes tips on other places to visit.

Something a little odd my wife and I found is that the bedding has no cover sheet -it seems to be built in with the comforter -we asked for a separate sheet and they provided us with one and the pillows were a little hard for one of us -I will let you guess which one -but again we asked and got a softer one. You get use to what you are use to!

Lovely hotel!! We took advantage of the morning yoga, went to the beach, took the kayaks out and loved the nightly entertainment on the lobby bar! Overall a lovely mother daughter weekend away!

The room itself was great but the facilities like the pool and the gym were a little run down!

It's a lovely place, the food in the restaurant is very good and a fair price.

Not the fault of the Hotel, but a group of rowdy drunks came back to have a party in an adjoining cabin at 1am, waking us up. Although told to calm it down by staff, when we complained to reception, iit still prevailed till after 2am (albeit quieter but not quiet enough for sleep). We had 6,am start, so we were not at all impressed.

Super hübsches Resort an toller Strandlage. Sehr hübsch eingerichtet, tolle Aussicht ans Meer oder Lake. Verschiedene Cottage Wohnmöglichkeiten, wirklich top! Tolles Essen. Draussen gibts viele süsse Haushasen die frei rumhoppeln.. Golf vor dem Haus, toller Platz, auch viele andere Sportmöglichkeiten möglich. Kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Very relaxing and peaceful

The location and views are absolutely beautiful and are definitely one of the highlights of the resort. As well the Ocean spa is highly recommended.

Due to heavy rain, water entered our room and we immediately informed reception and asked for someone to take care of it. When we returned two hours later, the water was still there and apparently nobody had attended to the issue. Fortunately, we found a member of the housekeeping staff nearby who helped us immediately. During our stay, the resort was also hosting a private event, which noticeably affected the service provided to other guests. For example, staff did not have time to provide cushions for guests wishing to sit on the terrace because they were busy with the event. We completely understand that private events are part of a resort's business, but regular hotel guests should not have to accept reduced service standards as a result.

Sehr charmantes Resort in traumhafter Lage an einem langen weißen Sandstrand. Unser Zimmer war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, die Betten waren sehr bequem. Sehr ruhig. Großartiges Frühstück.

Beautiful property with so much to do. Warm staff, so many activities, lovely beach and golf, my whole family had a blast. The bunnies were so fun! Like going back in time - was just what the doctor ordered. Sand. Surf. Peace. Fun.

The swimming pool was cluttered with sand and not cleaned while we were there over the 3 days.

It’s proximity to the ocean and my family. And the bunnies.

The desk clerk failed to tell me that there was a $200 hold on my credit card and while I was willing to not make a fuss, having the desk manager say that he didn’t believe that I wasn’t told was a complete failure in hospitality. The cabins were aging badly and needed freshening up. The staff were not very friendly; it doesn’t take much to smile a bit.

Resort was very family friendly with lots to do.

We would have liked a better view from our room. Location of resort has lots of foggy days which we were unaware of until talking with people.

This is a true family resort and there were tons of young families. The seaside location is beautiful, the cabin rooms wee spacious with nice porches and sea views. The staff is friendly and helpful, special shoutout to Audrey our restaurant server.

Our bathroom sink was completely clogged and it took three guys an hour late at night to fix it. Surely a cleaner should have noticed this before the room was let. The pools are basically kiddy size and not for adult swimming. No teaspoons or stirrers in the room. My sister in law had very dry haddock for dinner though the other food was fine. So no this is not a luxury or even normally good resort, which given its price isn’t acceptable.

Lovely resort, beautiful beach and property and the bunnies were fun

We went to the Tent for supper, the clam chowder was watery with no potatoes or onions, just a few clams. The chicken had very little meat on it and the corn was hard and not very tasty.

Location, scenery, gardens and beach are outstanding. Significant improvements in activities and equipment since last visit three years ago. The dining tent is a very nice addition.

The lakeside villas are very much due for a decorating upgrade as is one of the house rentals in White Point Estates where we spent a great deal of time this visit. Many details are not attended to in the two Lakeside Retreats we rented, such as toilet paper holder semi-detached from wall, discoloured towels, bathroom ceiling fan dirty, bedside lamp can only be turned off by reaching down and pulling the plug (that was covered with dust balls) and lack of security in room as lock on sliding door to patio waa non-functional and rod was bent. We also rented a Lakeview cottage this trip but I cannot speak to its condition. Each room should also have two armchairs rather than just one.

Loved the restaurant balcony over looking the ocean. Also really like the Dome accommodation.

The outdoor pool was small and shallow. More like a kiddy pool.

Walls are paper thin, too many children. If I would have known it’s a family oriented place.

Beautiful property and gorgeous beach! Our room was conveniently located within walking distance to all amenities! Room was a good size and beds were very comfortable. We had a nice deck overlooking the water. Lots of activities to do all day and kids loved feeding the bunnies, which were everywhere! All the food we had at the resort was very good!

Certain parts of the resort could use a little updating or cosmetic renovations, but nothing to complain about.

We loved our short time at White Point. The beach was wonderful and the resort offered so much to do for adults and children alike. We would definitely return.

A nicely developed property. We stayed in a glome which is expertly designed to provide everything you need without feeling cramped. We had good weather and the beach is great. Live music every night in the summer. Could park the car then just walk everywhere. And it has a guest laundry which is what need need on week : of our trip.

White Point Resort is in a beautiful location, and the scenery is definitely its biggest strength. We enjoyed the natural surroundings and the peaceful atmosphere.

That said, for $380 per night, I expected a much higher standard of accommodation. At that price, the room should feel noticeably better than a basic motel, but unfortunately it didn’t. The room was quite dated and lacked the level of comfort, quality, and attention to detail that you would expect from a resort charging premium rates.

Location on the beach is beautiful

It’s tired. Makeup face cloth had a hole in it; bathroom tap was difficult to operate and should be replaced; fridge froze the pop. For $400 for the night we expected better from White Point.Dining room food was just OK. Staff was fantastic. Drinks and meals expensive.

Beach, areas to walk

Prices have gone up. There were too few meal options. I suggest there should be a value menu option for guests on a budget. We cancelled our Dinner Reservation. We returned for breakfast and learned that guests can no longer order off a menu, buffet only. So we had the buffet. The food was not good. Only the bacon was edible. Eggs, fruit and muffins were awful. I left hungry and felt robbed. Long time customer, 25+ years. The towel hooks in our bathroom fell off the wall nearly hitting me in the head. The pole handle to open and close the blinds was missing. There is more but that is enough. The Resort has lost the charm that would draw us back year after year.

The view from our room was gorgeous. The beach was clean and beautiful. There were many activities to enjoy in the property. A great place to relax and enjoy the coast.

Food is VERY expensive. There should be at least one nightly special on the menu.

The food was exceptional!! We ate supper and breakfast in the main dining room. The location is beautiful but some areas outside look a bit junky and need to be cleaned up (you can see the big garbage bins, etc.)

Room needed updated as it was very tired looking, some repairs needed as well (screen door wouldn’t close properly) and while it was clean on the surface-it did feel like it needed a deep clean.

Le lieu est magique devant le lac et l'océan, c'est d'avoir des lapins qui gambadent partout autour de l'hotel. Toutes les activités sont incluses et c'est top autant pour les couples que les familles avec enfants.

Le "glome" que nous avons choisi est vraiment atypique dans la forêt, par contre c'est très bruyant s'il pleut et forcément pas top pendant la nuit ;) donc à considérer si vous choisissiez ce genre d'hébergement Et niveau activité le beach-volley n'était pas possible :(

Location was fantastic, felt private and very well taken care off. Loved the rabbits in the gardens and the free rabbit food from reception. Lake activities fab and breakfast very yummy.

The balcony of our room wasn't very clean, this is my only complaint though, everything else was fab so would certainly come back.

The beach was wonderful, and the two buffets were out of this world fantastic!!

We enjoyed the food and the view from our roo, although we weren’t on the beach.

It took up to 3 minutes to get hot water in the room. Also , the mini split didn’t seem to be giving heat.

Overall, we loved the resort and would consider returning, but I hope this feedback (below) helps improve the booking experience for others.

I booked our stay online several months in advance. At the time of booking, the only option available was a lakeside cottage, and I indicated that there would be three adults staying. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were assigned a very small cottage that was not comfortable for three adults. The sofa bed was especially uncomfortable, making it difficult for everyone to get a good night's sleep. I asked if it would be possible to upgrade to a larger cottage and was willing to pay the difference, but I was told that nothing was available. What I found frustrating was that we paid the same rate as guests staying in much larger lakeside cottages with higher occupancy, yet ended up in a much smaller unit. At that point, the extra cost wasn't my main concern—I simply wanted a comfortable space where we could relax and enjoy our vacation. My suggestion would be for the booking system to clearly specify which cottage guests are reserving before arrival. Since all of the lakeside cottages appear to be priced the same despite having different sizes and occupancy capacities, it's difficult to know what you're actually booking. Overall, I was disappointed with the accommodation, as it did not meet our expectations for a stay with three adults.

Drei-Sterne-Qualität zu völlig überteuertem Preis

Das Frühstücksbüffet und der Service waren wirklich sehr gut. Auch die Räumlichkeit im Haupthaus war wunderschön, stilvoll. Die Freizeiträume (Billardtisch, Tischtennis, Kreativbereich, Schwimmbad) waren sehr gut. Besonders für unser Kind waren die freilaufenden Häschen eine große Freude. Der Zugang zum Strand war toll und lud mit aufgestellten Bänken zum Verweilen ein. Die Live- Musik am Abend war sehr harmonisch.

Trotz dass wir ausdrücklich mit Meerblick gebucht haben, gab es kein freies Zimmer. Stattdessen bekamen wir mit Flussblick in einem sehr lauten/ hellhörigen Sechs-Zimmer- Appartement. Man konnte von beiden Seiten die Gespräche der anderen Gäste sehr deutlich hören. Die Möbel waren extrem verbraucht und nicht stilvoll. Das Fliegengitter war nicht dicht und am Fluss gab viele Mücken.

So much for the kids to do, the beach was incredible and clean.

Zimmer war schmudlig und muffig. Einrichtung ist SEHR in die Jahre gekommen, da hilft der tolle Blick leider auch nichts.

That we made reservations for a Ocean view, but it was a Lake View. Was told it was part of the Ocean. This was a surprise Father's Day Surprise from me. I was so disappointed. We are seniors. The staff were friendly. The food/ meals were unusually expensive.

Activités kayak paddle et canot inclus. La proximité de Lunenberg, Carter's beach, Peggys cove et Halifax (1h45) très bien. Le prix bookings.com était mieux que ce que l'hôtel m'a offert comme soumission .

Formule repas non disponible pour long séjour. Pour avoir travaillé en hôtellerie 5*, l'équipe du front desk doit améliorer son service. Il n'y a pas de service housekeeping sauf sur demande, même pour un séjour longue durée. Pour un établissement qui indique être luxueux, cet aspect est un échec. Ils ne cherchent pas à surpasser les attentes du client. Il faut appeler à chaque fois. Vous gérez vos déchets et le ménage de votre chambre. J'ai appelé une fois pour un service et j'ai été déçue. Le principe du luxe, c'est de n'avoir à se soucier de rien. Aucune surveillance pour la plage ou les deux piscines ce qui ne libère jamais les parents. Qualité de literie moyenne. * hebergement loué: Chambre avec deux lit double et terrasse.

The resort is great, perfect location for relaxation. Comfortable beds, ocean view, privacy. The weather allowed us to sail kayaks on the lake and to join yoga classes in front of the ocean. And of course - BUNNIES EVERYWHERE!!! The staff was extremely helpful, including the night rescue lift from a nearby town when our car was broken. Enjoyed every minute of our stay.

I liked the bunnies running around the resort.

The kids buffet could've been healthier in choices. Example: fruit and salad.

In my opinion, the property could use some renovations, which would only make this amazing place even more special. The other downside was the bad weather, which unfortunately took away from the experience a little.

It was pouring rain when we arrived, and we had to leave fairly early next morning, so we couldn’t take advantage of what appears to be lovely grounds and many opportunities for activities. Bathroom was very clean and beds were fresh and comfortable - the two most important things.

The lights outside the door kept the room semi-lit all night, which made it more difficult to sleep.

Ir was not included, so couldn't comment on that.

So much to do at White point from swimming in the ocean or indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, hot tub, feeding bunnies, playground, boathouse with free boat rentals bikes and outdoor games, multiple on site restaurants, hiking trails, recreation department which puts on multiple activities daily, games room etc.

The menu stated gluten free options which were not gluten free. My wife has severe allergies to gluten and ordered the fries as it said in the menu they were flown free. She had a reaction after eating the fries. Hottub and changing rooms weren't clean.

The property is beautiful with an added touch, the bunnies. The food was delicious and service was great.

We had a treehouse and it was amazing. Could lie on the bed and watch the sea which was just feet away. Bed was really comfy and bathroom and rest of room kitted out well. Was really peaceful. Restaurant in hotel and bar were good too. Lots of bunnies around too which was nice and I hadn’t realised. Beach lovely.

Nothing not to like we only stayed one night as on road trip but would have been happy to stay longer.

The stay at White Point Beach Resort was absolutely fantastic. The location right on the beach is stunning, and the overall atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. A personal highlight was the night sky: because there is so little light pollution, I was able to see the Milky Way clearly at night – a truly breathtaking experience! The staff was friendly, the amenities were great, and everything was perfectly set up for a memorable getaway.

Wir waren das zweite Mal hier und es war wieder ein tolles Erlebnis für die ganze Familie. Das White Point bietet so viel für einen entspannten Familienurlaub in wunderschöner Kulisse.

Stayed in a cabin which was lovely, didn't find any bags for recycling etc-- very little to complain about everything was great- just felt guilty putting recyclables in a bin loose:)

Location is beautiful. Cottage was musty smelling but 20 minutes airing out room solved that.

We were in the rooms that were 4 attached rooms. The walls are thin. We had a family in room beside us with some lovely but wild children. Jumping on beds so headboards were hitting wall and stomping on floors.

Nous avions cottage 111, avec balcon "vue" sur la mer. Belle chambre, bien équipée, très propre. La plage est magnifique pour marcher et il y a des lapins partout pour le grand bonheur des enfants. Nous avons soupé à l'hôtel, le fish & chips et la chowlder étaient excellents mais il faut demander le menu "all day". Pour le déjeuner, nous avions ce qu'il fallait avec nous pour le prendre à la chambre (tout de même 23$ par personne le déjeuner buffet offert...). J'y retournerais demain matin mais pour au moins trois nuits!
