The building is beautiful and my room was beautiful and large. Reception was very kind and good helpful people. The location of the hotel is great and the gym was awsome. Just as good as gyms like anytime fitness.

There can be a big line at reception when everyone needs to checkout at the same time and some people were in a rush to get to the airport but could not leave cause they needed to stay in line to checkout (not staffs fault they were working very hard, more of a systematic problem).

Except for the staff and the location, I don’t like all of it.

Great location for exploring Cebu City, with easy access to shopping and restaurants nearby. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the casino on-site was a nice bonus for evening entertainment. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay, and check-in/check-out was smooth. The grand, colonial-style architecture gives the property a lot of character compared to typical city hotels.

Nothing not to like, the stay exceeded expectations in every way.

The staff were first class and a credit to the hotel. The Lobby area is superb just to walk around. I had pre concert buffet which was very good for the price.. Maybe some tortillas rather than rice.

Internet was very poor,need an immediate upgrade. Room was very cold with aircon off. Could not work out problem. No instructions. No main light, only lamp and mirror spotlight. Became very dark at night.

my room had a RUST BOTTOM old fridge, the bathroom where horrible, Internet was turtle slow, and the restaurant is close for dinner during the week only open for dinner on weekend. THEY ARE CUTTING CORNERS TO SAVE SOME MONEY AT TOURIST EXPENSE (YOUR EXPENSE) NOT WORTH THE MONEY IN 2026 GO TO ANOTHER RESORT.

The rooms smell so bad and they are so not comfortable to be in the toilet was broken and the sink no hot water when we arrived there only the day after so i rated this hotel poor

WiFi was slow in the room. They charged for water in the casino. Laundry was crazy expensive for the Philippines. Food at location was a little expensive.

Staff were very unhelpful, we had some liquid on our sheets so asked if we could have fresh sheets as our were wet and we were told hotel was full so they couldn’t give us any but we could have an itchy blanket instead. Not what I expect from a hotel charging these rates

it's location to the event i attended

i originally booked their ambassador suite & i was surprised they upgraded me to presidential. i was initially happy. hoewever though, said presidential suite was so antiquated!!! the room smelled very old, the bathrobe hanging in the closet was threadbare! i had to request for freshly laundered bathrobes!!! the ones they gave were still threadbare. my husband said the robe was so itchy!!! everything was beyond old!!! and the bathroom -- water was dripping from the ceiling the entire 2 nights of our stay. i had to use all the towels to line the bathroom floor bcause i was afraid i might fall. see the picture attached. & dont start me about the shower head, omg. in all honesty, waterfront badly badly needs to do something about their rooms already. even the hallway in the 5th floor where the suites are situated looks haunted, lights were so dim, corners were dark!!! & the carpet smelled so bad!!! WATERFRONT, WAKEUP!!!!

We had breakfast every morning as part of the booking, it set us up for the day. The pool was super quiet at night (7pm onwards). We also used the massage facilities, the ladies did a superb job getting the Knots out...

We had to call room service 3 times, as toilet got blocked outside of our room.

The rooms appear to be from the late 1980s to early 90s. Need a refresh.

1. Room - clean; extra table for reading newspaper and viewing laptop; extra offerings like coffee, sugar, tea, bottled water, hot water kettle were welcome! 2. Breakfast was good. I liked the coffee. Food and pastries were fairly tasty, however, the same as those offered by 2 or 3-star hotels. 3. Reception Desk - staff was very courteous and helpful. Helped in resolving an issue with the kitchen concerning my request for packed breakfast for my early-morning check-out day. 4. Senior citizen discount!

1. My pet peeve: EXTREMELY SLOW and SPORADIC WIFI/INTERNET CONNECTIVITY that continually looped or buffered causing occasional disconnection when I was communicating with my children in the States. 2. Ironing board and iron were not readily handy. Had to request Housekeeping to borrow them. 3. Room service food menu printout should have been readily available in the room. Had to ask for one.

We stayed for my brother’s graduation and is very convenient since the venue of the graduation is just on the grand ballroom. We had an incredible stay.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The place was very nice and clean.

Fantastic facility, super friendly and understanding staff, in-house eating area was well laid out, with a great mixture of food and non-alcoholic drinks. The gym and pool are well appointed. Will stay here again in the future.

Hotel location is pretty much accessible, you just need to know how to evade the busy roads going to it. Hotel has a classic feel and a homey ambient. The room designs also have that same classic vibe. These are clean and cozy too. While the rooms may need updates to make them look modern, the current interior designs are just fine. The beds are soft and comfy and the sheets smell fresh and clean. AC system inside the rooms are working well. They should also have provided AC system in their corridors and hallways. Price of stay is just appropriate for all the comforts provided. The staff are warm, courteous, and helpful. Overall, I will still give respect to this hotel for all their efforts to make their guests comfortable.

It was good. The staff was friendly. It was pretty clean too overall I would say it's a pretty much five star hotel thank you waterfront for givingme a good experience in the Philippines.

The hotel is so clean and staff are very accommodating with the needs. The only downside is the WiFi is so slow. I couldn't used the WiFi in the room. Have to go down stairs even that still low signal. And also there is no hot water in my room, was about to mentioned it at the reception but I received a note that there's a problem with the hot water.
