Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Das Hotel ist wunderbar gelegen, direkt am Zoologischen Stadtgarten, nur wenige Minuten vom Stadtzentrum und ca. 15 Minuten Fußweg vom Schloss. Direkt am Hotel ist eine U-Bahnstation. Die Tiefgarage ist großzügig angelegt und gut erreichbar. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist umfangreich und das Personal durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind klimatisiert und sehr ruhig. Die Betten haben ein gutes Verhältnis zwischen weich und stabil und waren trotz meines Übergewicht sehr bequem. Die Stadt bzw. das Stadtviertel machte einen sehr sicheren Eindruck.
Das Badezimmer war nicht ganz perfekt sauber, aber das ist schon fast jammern auf hohem Niveau. Es gibt zwar eine kleine Minibar mit ein paar wenigen Inhalten, aber weder einen Snack- noch einen Getränkeautomaten. Die Portionen des Abendessens sind typisch für ein Hotelrestaurant eher auf der kleinen Seite - das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis des Restaurants ist OK aber nicht hervorragend.

Dat ik 2x de kamerprijs moest betalen. Ik had per abuis via Booking.com op een verkeerde datum een kamer gereserveerd. Dit terwijl wij op doorreis waren van vakantie naar huis. Dus we kwamen in de avond aan bij het hotel. Een vergissing is menselijk, maar we moesten 2 x de prijs betalen en Booking.com benaderen om het bedrag van 1 overnachting terug te krijgen. Van Booking.com hoor ik na 2 x mails helemaal niets. Maar nog triester vind ik dat Novotel zaken doet met een organisatie die een klant niet serieus neemt en slecht behandeld.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Absolutes Top Personal!!! Meine Tochter (Kleinkind) wurde trotz ihrer doch sehr speziellen Wünsche hier und da bestens zufriedengestellt. Sehr zuvorkommened in allen Bereichen und ganz toll fand ich das Kuscheltier am Empfang weshalb ich nochmal eine Nacht länger geblieben bin. Das die Minibar inklusive ist, war sehr hilfreich mit meiner Kleinen. Ich komme gerne wieser.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Geräumige, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer, sehr sauber, großes Bett mit einer bequemen Matratze, auf der ich hervorragend geschlafen habe. Sehr gutes Frühstuck. Wir konnten draußen auf der Terrasse frühstucken und die Sonne genießen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, egal ob an der Rezeption oder im Restaurant. Das Hotel befindet sich in einer idealen Lage. Es liegt ziemlich zentral, ein Katzensprung zu der Innenstadt und der Umgebung mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026Great service, good parking, very nice room, excellent breakfast. Power Socket next to the bed. Enough lighting. TV with working option to cast to it. A bit of space in the minibar to cool a couple of extra cans. Our stay was very enjoyable all in all.
It was nice to have AC in the room but it was quite weak and on the verge of being not enough. We stayed in the summer and the max temp of the day outside was probably around 33-34. It was quite warm in the room when we checked in at 18:30. The AC, set to the lowest temp and highest airflow felt more like ventilation. It took a long time to cool the room.

Die Zimmer waren sauber, komfortabel und gut ausgestattet – inklusive Klimaanlage. Es gibt ein äußerst vorzügliches Frühstücksbuffet mit großer Auswahl. Auch vegane Optionen sind vorhanden! Wir würden das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026The hotel rooms are a decent size. The hotel has a restaurant. The most positive part of the hotel is the staff, although not all are very active; a lady at the front desk was just trying to avoid addressing any questions: that is extremely bad! Location is ok if you are not interested in being right in downtown or so.
- No Wi-Fi; they claimed they had an issue, but they were never able to fix it. If you travel for work, that is a nightmare. They should provide a partial refund for such a major issue! - I could clearly hear the footsteps of the people on the floor above, quite disturbing. That means little soundproofing between floors. - The corridors giving access to the rooms were not cooled with AC. Given the high temperature and humidity, it was clearly uncomfortable. - The restaurant was ok, but at the front desk they told me it does not operate on Sunday for dinner. What is the purpose of a restaurant, then? I had three issues in the bathroom: 1) the hair dryer was overheating; they knew that, and just told me to wait until it started working again. That is unacceptable and dangerous. 2) The faucet handle was loose and unmanageable. 3) The hand shower was spraying out a lot of water from a defective gasket and overheating when using warm water. Again dangerous when handling it. While they addressed issues 2 and 3, these issues demonstrate a lack of control over the facilities, a lack of proactive maintenance, and a lack of training for those in charge of checking the room when a guest leaves before the next one arrives. The only desk available in the room is just a tiny movable desk with no real chair other than an uncomfortable armchair. Overall, a negative experience.

Vielleicht ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Aus der Dusche hat es ein etwas gemuffelt. Seiftücher und mehr Ablagemöglichkeit im Bad wären schön.

Das Essen im Restaurant war überteuert und handwerklich stark verbesserungswürdig. Der Rostbraten bestand z.B. aus 2 Stücken gleichgrossem Fleisch - eines war durch und das andere medium. Die Parmesansauce war geschmacklich nicht als solche zu erkennen.

Reviewed May 24, 2026מיקום מצוין, במרחק הליכה ממרכז העיר הישנה והמדרחוב. חדר מרווח, עם מתקנים מתאימים לשהייה גם של מספר ימים, ארוחת בוקר עשירה ומפנקת, וצוות אדיב ביותר, וקשוב לעזור ולסייע בכל מה שניתן. בלובי יש עמדה של 'ברוכים הבאים' עם שתיה קרה וחמה, קרקרים ועוגיות - חופשי לאורחי המלון. אכלנו גם בשעות הערב במסעדה של המלון - ארוחות טעימות ומשביעות, במחירים סבירים ביותר. יש חניה תת קרקעית בתשלום, אבל יש סידור עם המלון על תשלום מופחת - צריך לבקש זאת בקבלה. מלון מומלץ ביותר, ואם אחזור לקרלסרוהה, אבחר בו שוב.
הניקיון בחדר יכול להיות קצת יותר מוקפד - כוסות שתיה חד פעמיות משומשות לא תמיד נזרקו לפח, אבל זה בסה"כ זניח לעומת היתרונות הבולטים של המלון.

Reviewed May 9, 2026Mir hat an der Unterkunft im Hotel Nova in Karlsruhe alles gefallen. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Atmosphäre im Hotel war angenehm und ich habe mich dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Auch die Lage und der Service waren top. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dort übernachten
Eigentlich hat mir nichts an der Unterkunft nicht gefallen. Alles war sehr gut organisiert, sauber und angenehm. Ich war insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit meinem Aufenthalt im Hotel Nova in Karlsruhe

Wir hatten leider das Pech jemanden über uns gehabt zu haben der nachts um 2/3 Uhr in seinem kleinen Zimmer über uns Kilometer zu laufen, uns wurde aber vom Personal ein Ausweichzimmer gegeben was sehr nett war.
