Probably the worst experience we ever had staying at any hotel period. Food wasn’t good at all unless you got it as soon as they open. Only option they have for food really is a Buffett other restruants only 3 others btw are hard to get reservations for! Me and the wife got horribly sick from either the food or the poor drinks. Probably from mold and not cleaning the equipment correctly! Our room was dirty bad had 20+ black hairs all over it and the pillows requested it be cleaned and then it was even worse! Floors your scared to walk on! Staff wasn’t terrible and had some very nice people and some that didn’t care if you was there or not! I highly recommend going anywhere else not even to save you money but for your health!!! You honestly couldn’t pay me $2000 to stay here for a week

Very limited restaurant on property and it was a hassle to make reservations we was a group of 8 everytime difficult and no reservation available but when we got to the restaurant it was empty smh. The entertainment boring !!!! No energy! No hotel dirty run down while we on the pool area the balcony started collapsing!! In my room two roaches yuck !!!! Bartenders at this property were the star of the show, however the deinks are very sweet. They made this trip ok. The property is ok. Lovely to have 2 pools given that weather prevented us feom going into the ocean. Food were ok. Breakfast was the same for all 4 days. Dining room dinner was more or less the same. Kept looking for bahamian cuisine but could not find any. Saw jerk chicken and pork but the chicken was bland. No seasoning just smoke and the pork was chewy. Loved the coffee counter. Staff was not friendly. Asked when i checked in if i was celebrating anything. Told them yes my birthday, and they said they would do something nice, nothing was done. It was extremely hard to get a reservation. Tried on saturday and could only get for Monday. Booked a room with partial ocean view but was given a room that overlooked construction and the ocean could barely be seen through the trees. The AC could not be adjusted and the shower was broken along with the drain (202). I asked for a room change and was given a better one (521). I will not be back to this resort once was enough.

Our stay at Hotel Riu Paradise Island in the Bahamas was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with friendly staff and a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect balance of comfort and luxury without feeling overly crowded. The pool area was another highlight. It was large, clean, and so peaceful — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The vibe at the pool was always calm, which made it a great place to unwind. The location couldn’t have been better. We loved that it was close to the famous Atlantis resort, which is a must-see for visitors to the Bahamas. You can easily explore Atlantis, but Hotel Riu is just far enough to offer a more relaxed, quieter retreat when you're done for the day. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and we would definitely recommend Hotel Riu to anyone looking for a memorable vacation in the Bahamas. We will definitely be going back!

Property is well maintained. Staff has no idea what customer service is… but this is not just at the hotel… everywhere in Bahamas you will be lucky if you find someone nice. Hotel tells you you have to book for dinners 2 days in advance other than that they do not have availability you have to speak at the restaurant; you go to the restaurant and they are empty but tell you they have no space. You offer $20 they make up the space, if it wasn’t all inclusive I would understand but being all inclusive and having to pay to sit on the restaurant. Also you can only get 1 appetizer, 1 entree and 1 dessert not all inclusive as in other all inclusive hotels. It has a good location and beach is beautiful for like a getaway not bad …

Worst resort experience I’ve ever had. The staff are flat-out rude—rolling their eyes, acting bothered, and making you feel unwelcome the entire time. At the beach, they actually told us to get up so they could fold the chairs at 6 PM, cutting our day short. Any time you wanted a drink, you had to get up and walk all the way to the bar yourself—no service at all. The food was awful: repetitive, bland, and low quality. The hotel itself is old, dirty, and not maintained. Nothing about this place feels like a vacation. For the money they charge, it’s a complete rip-off. Do yourself a favor and book anywhere else—this place is a nightmare

This property is falsely advertised as coming with room credit. In reality, you get coupons with additional terms and conditions. But the coupons are for things like weddings. Or $10 off of a purchase of $100 (in other words, imposing an additional term of requiring additional spend to obtain a benefit). These are deceptive practices. I can’t believe the resort would do this and Expedia allows it, but i guess that is the world we live in today.

You could eat at the buffet but for sanity purposes I am not able to eat buffets. On the website it stated Miller Lite was available, it is not. The staff were okay but not overly excited to help. Kind of acted annoyed when I asked for help. I have stayed at Riu Palace in Cancun and got excellent service. The pool was nice and clean, the drinks were okay, the Ocean is amazingly beautiful waters. I loved the beach and ocean! Didn't like the attitude of male bartenders. They were too concerned with only females

Very nice property. Buffet was always good but the steakhouse was not so great. Tenderloin was not cleaned properly and the lobster was dry and not even served with drawn butter.
