The property is beautiful

Parking is a bit complicated. There is a parking lot but access isn’t for all kinds of cars. Also, WiFi was terrible!

We verbleven met 2 kinderen voor 4nachten. Hadden specifiek voor het hotel gekozen omdat het een zwembad had. Wat zeker oké is maar prijs kwaliteit was het teleurstellend. We hadden ontbijt inbegrepen maar was echt niet goed. Te weinig keuze en zeer basic. De kamers op de website kwamen niet overeen met de realiteit. Het eten over het algemeen in het restaurant was teleurstellend jammer omdat er in Oaxaca zelf veel beter en goedkoper te vinden is. De dubbelbedden in onze junior suite waren veel te klein. Luxury residence is hier zeker niet van toepassing. Jammer.

Beautiful hotel; super friendly staff (Miriam at the reception desk went above and beyond); delicious breakfast; nice pool; very clean and nice rooms; the shower was incredible. Overall beautiful property

I didn’t realize the property was so far from downtown. But I have to say that the hotel made up for that by providing free transportation during the day. And we appreciated, in the end, being a little removed from the busy and touristy center

am Rand der Stadt gelegen. Als Zwischenstopp gut geeignet. Bis zum Flughafen dauert es mit dem Taxi ca 40 min. Tagsüber bei Verkehr dementsprechend länger. Parkplätze vor dem Hotel hats nur wehnige

für ein 5 Stern Hotel erwarte ich einen top service, doch der war nur mittelmässig

Las instalaciones, me encantó el lugar, es muy bonito.

Que no respetaron el precio, me cobraron los impuestos a pesar de que en la app decía impuestos excluidos, además en la confirmación de la reserva decía que incluia desayuno continental y en el hotel me dijeron que no sabían porque se enviaba ese mensaje pero que no incluía desayuno. Aún así pedimos desayuno y dejaba mucho que desear.

This was booked in error. I tried to rebook it for the different date and I was not allowed to. I have tried to contact Booking.com, but I’ve had no luck to get a refund for the one night only. I am planning on going in November in like to apply this towards that.

Un excelente hotel para descansar con comodidad. El espacio, el diseño artístico con obras artistas oaxaqueños. Muy rico el restaurante. Pidan las conchas con nata!

Ver historial de que antes han robado en las limpiezas a habitación. No fue mi experiencia. Pero sí fue preocupante.

The room was small and stuffy

The main outside are was nice. The staff are really friendly and kind.

The hotel is dated, the rooms are not 5 star level. The communication of the staff is pretty poor, finding out basic things and not being let know if costs etc until you ask them is not great. I felt they are trying to be 5 star level but didnt show 5 star quality in any capacity. The shuttle bus that was offered to take people into the centre of the city, was out of operation 3 out of 4 days that I was there, which messed up my plans, and personally cost me money using regular taxi services. All in all, they are more like a 3 star service posing as a 5 star, lots of work to be done.

El alojamiento es tranquilo, limpio y el personal muy agradable y dispuesto, ayudan en lo necesario.

La ubicación, hay que coger taxi para ir al centro cada vez y aunque no es mucho con el trafico se pierden unos 15 min-20min en cada trayecto.

The whole property is great. The food at the restaurant is fantastic. Actually the breakfast was a highlight of my trip. I tried many different items on the menu and they all were delicious. The little bar under the hotel should be advertised better because we would have gone more times!! It’s fun.

I love the antique features of the property. But the room we received did not look like any of the photos. It was very dated compared to the pictures on the website. So I was a little shocked to see our room. In the end it grew on me, but they should try to get it to look more like the other rooms so that people know what to expect.

Nice property with ample bedrooms and attentive staff. They have nice details like small presents left in the room throughout our stay.

This is advertised as a luxury hotel and is far from delivering a true premium experience. Details like the pool temperature, no bellboys to help with the luggage are not what's expected from a boutique hotel.

Minimalistic breakfast, nearly no parking and airco noise

The food is amazing! So delicious and clean, appreciated having a healthy menu. Staff were lovely. Beautiful artwork available to buy on the property. Location is out of town but affordable in taxis.

Bit of confusion about our rooms and they weren't assigned to our names. We were told to just pick a room and they were vastly different in quality and size. I suggest asking for / booking rooms that are not on the ground floor. I was right near another room and the pool which was a bit noisy.

A pretty place, well tended A/c remote is old school and so a little spotty. The hotel did its best to help. Rooms are old fashioned but comfortable enough. Breakfast with the room is plain and limited but the service was excellent and the menu offerings are quite nice. Near a bus into Centro, so a good alternative at an affordable price. Nice bar as well. I’ll stay there again.

LAS INTALACIONES SON MUY LIMPIAS Y BONITAS, La cocina muy rica, y los meseros muy atentos y amables. El personal masculino de la recepcion muy atento y coordial.

Las noches en lo gral no descansamos queriamos relajarnos, pero habia muchos borrachos gritando en la madrugada y demasiado ruido de la cocina de trastes , no había como alguien que les pusiera un alto o decirles que ya no eran horas de gritar y hacer escandalo en la madrugada en el hotel.

El lugar para desayunar o comer es muy acogerdor. Quiero enviar una felicitació muy particular a la Srita. Soledad, quien nos atendió con mucha calidad y trato al ordenar alimentos. La comida es bastante buena, mantienen una gran calidad en la carta que ofrecen.

La recepcionista no tiene la capacidad ni las habilidades profesionales para ocupar ese puesto. Llegamos con 6 maletas un domingo y nos dice "no hay quien les ayude con sus maletas, uds mismos tendrán que subirlas a la habitación" El estacionamiento del hotel era un basurero lleno de botellas y basura, lo que da una pésima imagen. Por otro lado, nos informaron que el restaurante iba a cerrar porque lo iban a fumigar. Sin embargo, este aviso lo hicieron exactamente cuando uno estaba pidiendo mesa. No llevan un orden ni control de avisos en whatsapp-huéspedes, esencial en la comunicación interna. Esto es elemental en cualquier hotel. La piscina no está climatizada de manera adecuada, no te puedes meter a ella por la tarde cuando ya el clima está fresco. deberían cambiar y meter un jacuzzi., o agregarlo a la piscina.

Los cuartos un poco justos pero suficientes, todos los servicios funcionando bien, las instalaciones en muy buenas condiciones

Aunque el estacionamiento no fue un problema, no había un lugar suficientemente grande para estacionar los coches

El alojamiento es muy bonito y está cuidado.

Está muy apartado del centro aunque la zona es muy tranquila. Hay un autobús que pasa muy cerca y eso nos salvó, pero no se hace cómodo. El personal tampoco nos convenció.

The hotel was very clean, staff were nice all the time, food and drinks were really good and the complimentary ride to downtown Oaxaca was very convenient for our group.

Excelente lugar, está a 10 mins en auto del Centro, recomendable para una estancia tranquila y en una zona residencial.

Una estancia muy bonita, calidez en la atención y muy atentos a las peticiones que hicimos. El desayuno incluido delicioso y los platillos del restaurante para cenar muy ricos.

I stayed at the Casa Bonita for two nights during my visit to Oaxaca. When I arrived at 9:30 PM, I was told that the restaurant is still open, and they have room service. The front desk was particularly helpful in helping arrange taxis and my 4 AM trip to the airport.

El hotel está en excelentes condiciones, muy bonito y muy cómodo. Sin embargo el broche de oro fue la atención y excelente actitud de servicio del personal. La comida deliciosa. Ampliamente recomendable.

The staff went out of their way to make sure that they could do everything to make our stay pleasant Property itself needs updates. Soiled stained sheets should he discarded and replaced. Broken tiles and build up around the pool should be maintained. Provide updates and keep visitors informed about numbers to dial for services Do not advertise spa services if most of the time there is no one there.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Bonita. We had initially booked for one night last minute, and ended up staying for seven! The staff was very friendly, and we’d especially like to thank Eduardo who was helpful. Breakfast is the same every day, but it’s very good and really fills you up! The restaurant is great as well — we loved the cocktails there. The room was clean, and we had access to the swimming pool, gym, and parking… nothing more to ask for! I would highly recommend staying here if you have a car and want to get to Oaxaca Center whenever you like.

Free breakfast had limited options. It was just eggs, fruit, and beans and you get 4 different options on how they cook your eggs. Everything else is ala carte, which can be quite expensive. We had dinner one time. Price was comparable to a restaurant but not as good. We paid for convenience, we were too tired to leave the hotel at that point.

El hotel es bonito, limpio. El desayuno esta incluido pero solo consta de dos huevos , cafe y te solamente. el pan hay que pagarlo aparte. Esta a 16 minutos del centro , 41 del aeropuerto. Tienen servicio de transporte pero para el aeropuerto hay que pagarlo aparte, y para ir al centro hay que hacer turnos y puede que aveces si te llevén y muchas otras NO. En cuanto al servicio al cliente en el front desk puedo resaltar a Eduardo y el desayuno a Nicolas y Carmen , el resto necesita un entrenamiento para tratar un poco mas amable a los huéspedes ...... La piscina necesita mantenimiento , el agua se ve un poco turbia y exageradamente fría.

What I like was the place, the room, bed was so good. I did not like the people from front desk, not good, i was with my 2 daughters and the guy just seen us and did not help us with baggage, was hard for us

Very clean and relaxed offering free breakfast and a kind and attentive staff. Great shower pressure, AC and daily room cleaning.

Wifi was a little spotty at times, light shone from pool area into our room. A darker curtain there would be an easy fix.

El inmueble es una casa adaptada como hotel boutique a unos 10 minutos del centro de Oaxaca con muy buen gusto e instalaciones de primer nivel, buena comida y bebida, volvería a hospedarme por la tranquilidad y la calidad del lugar. Cons. Durante nuestra estancia aunque ofrecieron estacionamiento no se pudo utilizar porque personas externas bloquean los accesos y hubo que dejar el auto en la calle. El personal de restaurante y meseros requieren capacitación ya que emiten opiniones personales sobre huéspedes y staff a través del sistema de radio. El personal de recepción excelente en todo momento, servicial y apoyador a las necesidades. Conclusión. Sugiero mejorar la capacitación, y optimizar el uso del estacionamiento o si esto no es posible de plano no ofrecerlo como parte de los servicios

All the facilities worked together for a great experience

There was one unit which allowed pets. A very nice unit but pet charged seemed excessive

The staff at breakfast and the security team were very friendly and kind. Unfortunately, the check-in staff were a disaster — I honestly don’t understand why people with that attitude choose to work in hospitality.

Staff went above and beyond making our stay a pleasant and unic experience. Everything was great, food was amazing, garden was beautiful, I have no negative remarks but being greatful for such an amazing treatment. Raving to Itandehui, amazing!! Such a caring lovely lady whom kindly helped me at taking care of my mom wound. Overall, everyone at the hotel make us feel welcome and we left happy for choosing Casa Bonita.

It is a cute place and very comfortable for the price paid. The attached restaurant is not amazing but it suffices for quick eats. The staff are super friendly and lovely. The small gym and sauna are also easy enough to use.

The shower temperature was inconsistent. We had one actual hot shower for the duration of our stay and the remainder of our showers were lukewarm at best.

Hotel is very nice, the food is great !!!! Be sure to visit the Spa while you are there. The staff at the bar is very friendly. The only issue I had was the AC in my room only worked the first 2 days then it stopped blowing cold air. i reported it 3 times but only got checked once with no help.

Un hotel lindo, solo que lejos del centro de Oaxaca, está como a 20min. Los colchones un poco incómodos al colchón le daría un 8. Hotel agradable alberca pequeña… zona muy tranquila y agradable. Comida buena. El baño recomiendo remodelar….

Property was good, the terrace also excellent.

Some of our personal belongings were stolen (a t-shirt and diapers from my kids). Also the free shuttle to the city center it wasn’t for free.

Almost everything. The hotel is located in a good neighborhood, calm place and residential which is good to run away from noise of downtown. It is very comfortable, bed and shower are great, specially for me who loves strong water. There is a shuttle from hotel to downtown (~15min) and Elvis is the man in charge of that, what a good guy! There is also a small pool. Breakfast is good.

The breakfast was included however with some restrictions, only 1 protein per person, 1 scrambled eggs, etc. if you want a juice for example you have to pay additionally.

Es muy linda propiedad, nos encantó la estancia, lo único que no hubo lugar de estacionamiento y a cambio, nos ofrecieron que el carro se quedara en la calle con buena vigilancia.

Un hotel bonito, agradable, las camas y amenidades bastante bien, el personal amable, un lugar tranquilo para descansar, los alimentos no son tan variados pero tienen buen sabor, el mezcal complice muy bueno, bien servido, el jardin con estancia bastante comodo. Lo unico que no fue de mi agrado es que el desayuno es a partir de las 8 am, y no antes, sin embargo te alivianan con un box lunch. Fuera de ello, lo recomiendo bastante.
