The view
Bar not comfortable seating is for food only no area for sitting and relaxing having a drink bar menu not great breakfast was over priced 47 euro for breakfast for two was daylight robbery as for the breakfast it was far from value for money never have I had a full Irish breakfast with so little on plate no white pudding rashers were like rubber paid more for breakfast than I did for dinner that’s a first
Breakfast was lovely, & dinner at the restaurant was beautiful. Location has countryside feeling, ideal for peace of mind from being in a busy city. Good value for money. I would happily stay here again.
Food. Drink. Bathroom. Bed. Room facilities peace and quiet .
Price of the drink . But it is a hotel
From the staff . The rooms and the food is amazing.
Beautiful location. Lovely hotel. Got upgraded to a lovely spacious and clean room. Facilities were brilliant and staff were very friendly and helpful. Leisure centre was really enjoyable and relaxing and the outdoor jacuzzi was amazing
Not an ideal place to stay if you don’t have a car
The staff was excellent, grace with me. The room was so satisfying. I didn't want to leave and the location was beautiful. I love the location. It was so nere to brave were we wanted to beloved every thing about it
Loved the breakfast was great.and all the staff was so good with me
The location was easy to find and get around the area
The rooms and facilities are becoming very dated
Location
Barman was lovely and we have a nice chat with him The lovely lady at reception went above and beyond for us when checking in My partner came down from Dublin and was loving our beautiful mountains and she gave us a room view because of this which I thought was very kind and thoughtful
That we had to leave early the next morning but that was on us Would of loved to stay longer
One of the best hotels
Every thing was great, just there was limited HALAL breakfast options. overall top Hotel with top location 👍
Hotel was excellent, outstanding views and facilities .Staff also excellent well done 👏
Great hotel, staff are lovely and an ideal location
Only down side was we didn't get to stay long enough and make more out of such a beautiful place
Okay Room
Breakfast wasnt ready when I went to have it in the morning (having to wait for coffee for example) also, I left my electric tooth brush and called the following day, and it hadn't been handed in (as such either binned or stolen) It was expensive costing around £100 so would have expected this to be handed in so that I could get it back
Aamiainen oli oikein hyvä ja kattava. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja palvelualtista. Hotellin sijainti todella kauniissa paikassa.
Relaxed atmosphere. No urgency in working conditions resulting in staff being most courteous and attentive..m
Location. Food was delicious. Staff really friendly.
Wheelchair accessible room was a little small.
Staff very friendly, professional and attentive. Breakfast was fine. Beautiful views. Clean.
Pillows in bedroom were awful, like a large lump shoved into a small pillowcase. Neither of us got to sleep well. Water in handbasin extremely hot, without warning. Shower was strange! Very disappointing for a one night stay.
Stayed for 1 night while hiking in Wicklow area. Staff, location and bar food were excellent. Leisure centre also great.
Very friendly staff. Great location. Spacious rooms. Enjoyable spa facilities.
Thought the mattress needed replaced as it was felt a little worn and we didn’t sleep wonderfully on it.
Very friendly staff and always willing to help. The ambience is amazing and the room was quite spacious, clean and comfortable. The food and drinks were priced reasonably and we thoroughly enjoyed the live music. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and access to spa facilities such as the jacuzzi, hot-tub, sauna and steam room. The hotel grounds is breath taking and being able to access the Glen of the Downs trail route right from the hotel was great.
There was no hot water on the evening of the day we checked in so we couldn't have a shower. This was fixed the next morning.
We liked everything,, we had a perfect time there. We can not wait to go 9.
Beautiful location with lovely food and even lovelier helpful staff
Nice hotel, beautiful panorama, good food, clean, good staff, nice swimming pool, lovely hotel
A little far to the town
Clean
The bar was very cold , the windows were open at 10pm , we left as quickly as we could finish our drink
Location was good, grounds were beautiful and the hotel was clean and comfortable.
Aircon needs upgrading.
Location amazing Grounds great for walking and enjoying drinks Hotel lovely old fashioned Got room upgraded for birthday surprise Swimming pool lovely and outdoors hot tub amazing Only area for improvement was food bar food not great (just average) Breakfast room setting great views Staff lovely just again average food for breakfast.
Location and friendliness of staff
Nothing not to like
Caeser salad was very good. Chicken was lovely. Staff very efficient. Thank you.
Very expensive 287 euro ,With no Breakfast. Bar closed very early for Residents.
Comfortable chairs
The evening dinner in bar
we liked the spa facilities
the plumbing in the next room was really audible when we were in bed
Great location, nice staff, nice woodland walk nice bed, lovely leisure centre
Was here for a wedding recently. I must say attention to detail is spectacular. As a hotel manager, I despise going to other venues as I see little details out of place. Not here however; Room set up was perfect, staff were very accomodating, food service was good, correct cutleries lifted at the right times. Fantastic from a service point of view, and the quality of food was very high. Special mentions to the night porter that has been working there for many years, who set up the room, and to Kasper also. Kasper is a credit to your establishment and proved to be a fantastic member of staff for both food and beverage. Rooms were nice, and breakfast room has an amazing view. Would have no reservations about recommending this hotel.
Clean, lovely, nice views, nice garden, nice club
Nothing, all perfect
Bar staff are rude in ways, quite abrupt. Good leisure centre though. Hotel quite clean.
everything was perfect 😊
Location location The views lots of space in the restaurant in the bedrooms and in the hotel generally The food was great and the service very good The views are fantastic but I love greenery anyway
Expensive Food and drinks expensive Everything else was great
Reception staff very helpful the leisure facilities very good and all included swimming pool sauna steam room and hot pool ... the restaurant food was excellent and staff in general attentive well run hotel the grounds outside beautiful
I dont really have negative points everything as expected as value for money
The rooms and public areas were all beautiful, well maintained, and very clean. There were fabulous walking and hiking paths accessible right from the hotel property and there are beautiful gardens on the property itself. The staff were all helpful and gracious. Luxury surrounded by nature!
Because the hotel is located in the countryside, there were no shops or conveniences within reasonable walking distance. While a taxi for an excursion to a village is fine, it would be nice to have a small guest shop within the hotel for items like toiletries, minor first aide, or small snacks.
Nothing
The staff were very unfriendly no air conditioning or fans through the whole hotel during the heatwave the heat was sickening and we could not sleep for the whole night because of how hot it was
Beautiful grounds/garden
We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary with family and friends. Everything was perfectly organised by Leanne beforehand. Eamonn orchestrated on the day and was so attentive. All our guests loved the food. From pre bbq drinks in the garden to the serving of the food everything went smoothly. We had a wonderful experience and would recommend The Glenview for atmosphere, setting, views and attention to detail. A perfect day.
We stayed here for 3 nights for a family wedding. We opted for a basic room and were surprised by how large it was. Staff were friendly and helpful and the onsite bar and restaurant were nice. The hotel should review the food provided at functions. It was pretty average in my opinion. The grounds were lovely with a few walks available, which was nice. The wow factor came at breakfast time. Breakfast is served on level 1 and it has expansive windows with impressive views of the mountains and glen. I was somewhat blown away when I seen it on my first morning. The breakfast buffet and al a crate option are extensive and really good. Considering this hotel is on the edge of urbanisation, it really feels like it’s deep in the countryside. I would highly recommend it, even for a romantic night away. It’s great for golfing groups too but I didn’t get the opportunity to play a round.
It's was a nice hotel staff were great
For to stay at this hotel you need to have a car. As it's so far away from the city not much of a choice food wise same food every time
Loved the location staff were really friendly and very helpful.
Lovely old fashioned hotel with comfy rooms, friendly staff and gym facilities. The food at the restaurant and at the bar was excellent. I enjoyed the curry with aubergines I had one night at the restaurant. Ideal place for exploring the Wicklow area.
The WiFi was very week
Setting was nice
Staff very slow in bar/restaurant and you could not check in until 4 pm and also could only use the leisure centre after 3pm when you arrived too early before check in which seems odd
There's lots to like about this location. The setting is tranquil and peaceful surrounded by hills, fields and trees. The hotel itself has friendly welcoming staff and the rooms are well equipped, clean and comfortable. I had the breakfast and the food was served promptly and tasted delicious!
There is little to not like here.
The employees were lovely throughout the hotel .The property itself was very nice .I enjoyed my meals in the pub bar while watching the football!! Their life entertainment on Saturday was very good .My time at the hotel went very quickly.I did wish I was staying for another few days upon leaving.I did not use the other facilities that are offered in the hotel but if I were to return , I would use them.Thank you to all for a lovely few days .

Perfect location with the most beautiful gardens you will ever see.Lovely longer walks nearby too. Staff are really nice and the food is delicious.
Everything. The hotel and surrounding grounds are beautiful. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Room was spacious with all the amenities including a coffee machine. Very comfortable. Will stay again 😀
This place was amazing- great staff, very accommodating, attentive, and friendly. We were going on a 12 hour journey and the staff treated us with kindness and hospitality. What an amazing experience.
First of all you were asked if you would like help with your bags. Very pleasant reception staff.Hotel is beautiful beds very comfortable and large. We were told about the gardens and the bees 🐝 and they have there own honey. Had a lovely drinks reception in garden we were at a 50th wedding anniversary then we had a beautiful barbecue food and salads divine. Manager and all staff very helpful. Will definitely stay there again.
Nothing really only my stay wasn't long enough.
It was wonderful stay , one of my best stay in Ireland . The staff was too kind and upgraded our room without even asking. Best experience.
Friendly busy place. Lovely leisure facilities and a nice atmosphere
Ubicado cerca de donde necesitaba, pero de difícil acceso. Buenos servicios, comedor con carta limitada
La carta del comedor
I had a wonderful experience at the Glenview Hotel earlier this week. The hotel is very comfortable and I found the staff super warm and friendly 😊 The food was excellent and the surroundings were outstanding.
There really wasn't anything I didn't like! I would have loved the restaurant to be open during the week, and if possible, to consider this, I would really appreciate it 😊
What a fantastic night’s stay at the Glenview hotel! The staff were Incredibly welcoming. 5 stars for cleanliness and comfort but with a lovely relaxed vibe. I’ve stayed at the hotel many times over the years with my family but on this occasion it was an overnight stay with my sister. She enjoyed the wonderful leisure facilities. The icing on the cake has always been the Glenview’s high quality cuisine and it certainly didn’t disappoint! I couldn’t recommend it highly enough and look forward to my next visit.
What can I say... Stayed there 9th June 2026 (not our first time). If I was to gig deep to find any fault, I would come up empty. From friendly staff to cleanliness, amenities and overall experience, I could not recomend this place highly enough... Have already booked a return visit. 💯... Paul Chapman.
The breakfast and meals that we had at the Glenview were excellent. The room was a standard double which was absolutely fine with a fine view. I enjoyed the woodland walk. The staff were very good and it was especially appreciated that the vast majority were Irish. There was always plenty of staff on hand. The setting of the hotel and grounds were good with the hotel in a very good decorative state. We would definitely stay there again.
The hotel is conveniently situated close to the N11 main road so there was traffic noise.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the views speak for themselves. The hotel itself was beautiful and modern. The rooms were very clean
The beds were very uncomfortable
We loved the location. Looking out at the scenery in the morning at breakfast. It was stunning. The staff were excellent. Helpful and respectful.
We were a little disappointed in the pool facility in the afternoon. We know the swimming lessons were on but they took the whole pool over. Two instructors had one to one lessons taking over mist of the rest of the pool. We had a more relaxing experience the next morning.
This most certainly is not a 4 star hotel in any shape or form. It is beautiful from the outside but sadly inside the tens of years muck & grime have left their mark. The revolting smell upon entering; the filth on the carpets ( can't roll your case, as so sticky from years of dirt). The room was tired, dirty & dingy. The bed had a very thin, lumpy mattress, like a child's divan bed back in the 70'. It must have been 20 plus years old. Unbelievable this was an Executive room. The price point & the claim " it a four star hotel" is totally misleading. We refused to stay, left & went home. Sadly, as they already had our money, they refused to give a partial refund. No telephone call, as promised, but a badly written email with total lack of empathy.
Well located hotel in the middle of Wicklow mountains, lovely sorrunding area, and ample parking, reasonable price, but older property that needs refurbishing
Very old rooms and decoration, linens were rough, and pillows very low quality, equivalent to a 3 star hotel, not 4 stars.
A lovely hiotel with amazing views
If you go to Wicklow then this is truly the place to stay☘️ It’s art deco feel, makes it so special. You can picture Elizabeth Taylor pulling up in her white Rolls Royce at the entrance or The Kennedy Family on a Presidential visit. The warm and homely feeling throughout from decor to staff is fabulous. Mist on the mountains to beautiful gardens and lambs in the field. Views from the bedrooms are picture perfect. Pay that little bit extra for a Magical experience. The bar food is out of this world and so fresh. Staff are so attentive throughout. If you like an early morning swim, sauna or steam room then head over to the leisure centre too. Could not fault this hotel one bit☘️
