de matras was hard. De kamer zou om 14.00 uur beschikbaar zijn, maar als gevolg van een internetstoring kon men niet in het systeem en heb ik tot 14.30 moeten wachten. Nu is dit zeker ook een kwestie van overmacht, maar je zou dit ook kunnen voorkomen door in geval van dit soort kwesties een document bij te houden waarop de bij boeking toegewezen kamernummers vastgelegd worden. De kamers waren al schoon, zodat de gasten dan eerder over hun kamer hadden kunnen beschikken. Er was zelfs één dame die nog veel langer heeft moeten wachten en haar ervaring betitelde als "the worst hotel experience ever"! Wat op zijn minst had kunnen gebeuren dat in dit soort gevallen de gasten bijvoorbeeld iets aangeboden had kunnen worden, zoals bijvoorbeeld een lunch. Dit zou gewoon in het protocol opgenomen moeten worden voor het personeel. Dit is geen reclame voor het hotel en voor de professionaliteit van het personeel.

Dusche und WC war sehr schmutzig. Die Handtücher haben Flächen Boden war dreckig den Bettwäsche war schlecht für Bett das hat so ausgeschaut, ob das jemand vor uns drinnen geschlafen war.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026El hotel está muy bien ubicado próximo a la estación de Leuven, desde donde puedes coger un bus para ir a cualquier punto de la ciudad o moverte en tren por el país. El personal es muy amable, llegamos mucho antes de la hora y nos dejaron pasar a la habitación permitiendo aprovechar nuestro tiempo allí.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026After many years at Park Inn, we ended up using Novotel this year, and although being a little bit reluctant before our stay, it turned out great. They absolutely know how to cater for their festival guests. Pros: - Superior room was quite spacious and clean. Nice with fridge in room. - Breakfast times extended to 11 during the festival. That's how we like it. - Kept their bar open with pizza options until 3.A.M. Also a very good initiative and they also showed all world cup matches. Neutral: - Even though it's not as close at Park Inn, it's still quite close to the central station and shuttle buses - Breakfast was nice with a good bread selection, however after the first night, they stopped knowing how to cook bacon, so it was more of a raw damed mess, rather than crispy. Also split between soft and hard boiled eggs. One never knew what to expect. Cons: - Slow elevators - Price is very high, but unfortunately to be expected

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026Novotel is een modern en goed onderhouden hotel aan de rand van het centrum, eigen parkeergarage. Het is mogelijk een hond mee te nemen. Redelijk ruime kamers en een goed voorzien ontbijtbuffet (dat om 9:30 u sluit).
De badkamer had een badkuip die o.i. onvoldoende beveiligd was tegen slippen bij het in- en uitstappen voor de douche. We moesten extra betalen voor het meenemen van de hond, maar kregen daar (in tegenstelling tot de belofte) geen enkele voorziening (mand, drinkbakje o.i.d.) voor terug. We verbleven er tijdens de hittegolf en de airco was er niet op berekend de kamer in die omstandigheid voldoende te koelen. De hele ervaring viel ons wat tegen in het licht van de prijs die we ervoor betaalden.

Het hotel is erg verouderd. Bed en meubilair is gescheurd of zit vol plekken. Idem voor de gordijnen. Wat het prijs kwaliteit te duur maakt.

Reviewed Jun 15, 2026The staff were friendly and helpful, and the fact that they all speak such good English is great. Domenico especially made the stay as good as it was - he was unfailingly polite and friendly, and delivered delicious food and cocktails. I was surprised that the hotel had only one member of staff looking after the restaurant and the bar, especially as it was quite busy.
The bedding was shocking - the duvet was thin and the material in clumps, like cotton wool inside a pillow case, and the pillows themselves lumpy and uncomfortable. The traffic outside was noisy, and the air conditioning so loud I had to turn it off. Of course you can't do anything about the location, but it was difficult to get to from the station on foot.

Reviewed May 28, 2026het ontbijt was uitgebreid en vers, vers croissant volkoren brood rustige plek en het personeel zorgen dat gelijk opgeruimd word. Dus zeer tevreden over het ontbijt misschien vers jus d'orange.
Het probleem bij Novetel is parkeren. ze zeiden dat je voor de deur gratis parkeren ,maar ze zijn weinig plekken. Dus we hebben daarnaast bij een parkeergarage voor 24 EURO voor 24 uur geparkeerd maar als je naar buiten gaat dan moet je weer betalen als nog daar wil parkeren. Dus parkeren is een probleem.
