Beautiful location just facing the sea

So happened that I had to check in on the day when some electricity rectification works were on and there was no light and water in the bathroom till way after 7 pm, causing inconvenience as I had to go to the lobby area to use the toilets.

The beachfront location is exceptional and one of the best in Langkawi. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets directly from the resort, especially around Pelangi Grill. The resort grounds are spacious, well maintained, and provide a relaxing tropical atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The location is excellent, with easy access to Pantai Cenang, restaurants, activities, and island tours. Overall, it was the perfect place to unwind and experience Langkawi.

Very little to dislike. Some areas could benefit from minor modernization, but nothing that affected our enjoyment of the stay.

Хорошее местоположение, красивый вид, вкусная еда в ресторанах, очень понравилось вечером ужинать у моря в ресторане Grill. Завтраки тоже хорошие. Номера большие и удобные, с терассами.

Во первых номера плохо убираются, когда мы заехали постельное белье было плохо постиранным с пятном. Во вторых, я просил ранний заезд, но они протянула и заставили ждать 5 часов до времени заезда и заселили только в 15.00 и это только одну комнату, вторую дали в 15.30 позже на пол часа времени заселения. Это было очень не красиво то что они заставили столько ждать мою семью с детьми, при этом заселяя других раньше нас. Такое отношение мне не понравилось.

Great location, right on the beach, close to shops, restaurants, bars, water sports etc. Great breakfast, comfortable and clean room with great friendly staff.

Only advice is to sort out the beach bar, make it better and add some charm!!

Tolle Lage, super Kids Club, 2 tolle Pools, 1 ruhigerer mit Pool Bar, Frühstück echt gut v.a. am Meer war es sehr schön zu frühstücken und gelegentlich Abend zu essen, gleich in der ansäge viele gute Restaurants. Für Familien top, wir hatten ein Beachfront Zimmer und waren Rückzug im Meer, auch dieses sehr flach für Kinder perfekt, Sandstrand

The Resort is one of the best, if not the best, I have been to due to it's location as it has a private beach. The staff were also very cooperative and fast in services and especially the buggy service made our lives a whole lot easier. The rooms were really neat and clean and so was the swimming pool. I really recommend this resort for anyone travelling to Langkawi.

Det var alldeles för mycket folk. Frukosten var kaos och vid middagarna (olika tider) var det fullt och stökigt med hög ljudvolym. Vid poolen likaså. Fullt av människor och all solstolar var ”reserverade” från tidig morgon. Flera dagar upptogs poolen av ett killar/män som var otroligt högljudda. Ingen i personalen bad dem att lugna sig trots att det var uppenbart att de störde väldigt många andra gäster. Boendet var bra, men vi valde till slut att äta på andra ställen än hotellet.

Hotel staff were amazing, especially our engagement with the buggy drivers. Hanif in particular was a gem.

Honestly nothing

My experience with the front desk was disappointing at first. I was given two rooms that were far apart, even though I repeatedly asked for them to be close together, especially since the second room was for my children. The next day, however, Mr. Hafi went out of his way to help and arranged for our rooms to be much closer. He was kind, professional, and genuinely cared about resolving the issue. Thank you, Hafi, for your excellent service. If anyone encounters a problem during their stay, I highly recommend speaking with him.

Beautiful Beachfront property with lovely character and friendly helpful staff. The rooms are huge and it’s lovely sitting on the balcony looking out at the gardens and sea. The breakfast is very good with plenty to choose from and Prosecco offered in the beachfront restaurant. We had dinner 3 times during our stay and was very good and lovely to sit out looking into the sea. The pools are beautiful and plenty of sunbeds to choose from.

The room was fully equipped with everything you would need - umbrellas in case of rain, hairdryer, kettle, fridge, slippers, bathrobe etc. It was very spacious and big, beds and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom was huge and had a bathtub and a separate section for the closet. The private beach is also fully equipped with beach chairs, and towels can be collected from the pools.

In the first night, there were a lot of fruit flies in the room. However the property sent me a mid-stay survey to collect feedback. After I submitted the survey, the staff called me to schedule a treatment for the room to help with the fruit fly issue. Service was fantastic, I have never stayed anywhere where they ask for feedback mid-stay and immediately act on the issue.

J’ai beaucoup apprécié la propreté de l’hôtel ainsi que sa localisation. Le personnel est adorable, attentionné et aux petits soins. Mon séjour a été exceptionnel et je reviendrai sans aucun doute ! Le petit-déjeuner est très copieux et offre beaucoup de choix.

Le seul petit point à améliorer serait de rénover un peu les chambres, notamment la peinture et certains meubles qui commencent à vieillir. La climatisation mériterait également d’être modernisée.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. They make small exercise to grants connected room for my family which is appreciated.The hotel was very clean, and the housekeeping service was excellent. The location was perfect, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding area as u need to walk like 5 minutes to reach the tourist street in cenang . I especially loved having access to the hotel’s private beach, which was beautiful and very relaxing. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nothing just a recommendation to allow the room to accept 4 persons instead of three as most of the families are 4 persons including the children.

Personally , for me and my husband we loved the beach villas bed and bathroom was very clean , spotless . The breakfast area was very clean as well. Overall the resort was peaceful I’d definitely come back and stay for a whole week!

Das Zimmer war gross, gut ausgestattet. Mir gefiel es sehr.

Was fehlte war eine Waschmaschine. Zu diesen Preis hätte ich es erwartet. Zudem war unser Suite hinterst hinten, jedesmal hin und her zu laufen war sehr anstrengend. Und die grösste Enttäuschung war glutenfreier Angebote. Der Koch schrieb mer per WhatsApp und fragte was ich wollte. Ich sagte ihn, Brote, sowie Muffins hätte ich am liebsten was ich auch bekam. Die Muffins waren nicht durch gebacken, man merkt kurz hineingestellt und gebacken und serviert. Es fühlte sich an als würde ich leeres Mehl essen. Auf Rückmeldung an Koch meinte er, ich gehe der Sache nach, danach nichts mehr gehört. Nochmals würde ich hier nur wegen das nicht mehr kommen.

1- عدم توفر مساحة أو مكان صغير كمصلي في الفندق. 2- بوفية الافطار جيد ولكن لا يلبي تنوع الأطعمة العربية مثل الفول والحمص والأجبان والشابورة والاهتمام بالسلطات الخضراء. 3-عدم وجود خزانة للاوراق والمستندات في الغرفة 4- الدور العلوي في الشالية يفضل تغطية السقف پأسقف مستعارة كجمال والحفاظ على تبريد الغرفة. 5- غالبا المسابح يضاف لها الكلور للتعقيم ولم أجد أثار الكلور أو رائحته في المسبح للفندق.

I missed a day despite advance booking due to Batik Airline delay. I understand they didn’t compensate but i emailed them a day before on booking.com and they didn’t reply at all. I also messaged them on booking.com but they didn’t reply. Absolutely bad in terms of responding online. I wouldn’t recommend you book them through booking.com, they don’t take you seriously

Le check in prévu à 15h qui malgré le fait que l’hôtel ne soit pas complet n’est pas été avancé (proposition de surclassement ou d’une autre chambre disponible) nous avons du nous promener après avoir fait un long trajet pour attendre notre chambre.

I like the cycling, it was fun. The walking distance to the beach is near. There was also a cascade and horizon pool that was thrilling and the yoga was very relaxing.

I was celebrating my birthday during our stay, the team prepared the room and left cakes and sweets for me.. It was such a thoughtful touch and honestly made my day even more special. Thank you❤️! What impressed us the most was the attention to detail. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always happy to help. You can really feel that they care about their guests and want them to have the best experience possible. A big thank you to the entire Pelangi team for making my birthday so memorable. We felt genuinely welcomed and looked after throughout our stay. We would happily come back again and highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Langkawi.

the beach is clean and calm at the Pelangi are. The breakfast options are also variety and good enough for local food and American breakfast. The room is spacious, clean and the amenities are enough for both of us. The buggy service is also fast and room service also fast. Swimming pool also spacious does not feel crowded.

I wish they explain more about the activities there. Like how to confirm I want to join the yoga session, or any activity available. Anyway I can always ask the reception about it but I did not hehe. Anyway, I think what I did not like the most is when I have to end my stay there.

Could hear the upstairs family through the floorboards. Was a lot of shouting. Bathroom had bad sewage smell for three days. Complained numerous times but nothing was done about it expect the use of air freshener. Check in took an hour. Without our passports for this long. Breakfast was mid. Not many options.

We had bad experience while checking in, staff on front desk are not so responsive. They dont make you feel welcomed and that is an issue if they consider themselves 5 star resort. We asked to change the bed sheets twice because they were dirty and both times they were still dirty which is also surprising for such value of money and such a resort. Breakfast was decent, staff working in housekeeping and in the restaurants are nice and always smiling. Felt so overrated. But ok in general

Great room - spacious and comfortable. Ideal for families. Spectacular sunset views. Great facilities and amenities. The pools are fantastic. F&B is great too. Location is great - very close to nightlife if you are looking for restaurants and bars.

The beach is not so private - so might not be so appealing for those looking for a quiet escape.

Loved the kids pool, location was good.. but a little tucked in corner ..

Breakfast left more to be desired, especially Indian dishes.. the taste was also not good for indian dishes.. eggs counter had a lot of waiting time and understaffed.. For a resort of this scale.. i feel breakfast needs to be a little more elaborate
