Nous avons été surclassé et avons reçu une chambre plus spacieuse avec un balcon et la vue sur le Rhin ! Accueil très sympathique. Vue magnifique. Lits confortables. Royal !

Terribly small rooms, very noisy even in the mornings. Definitely not worth the money.

The location is exceptional. I don’t think I could have stayed anywhere better in the city. The exterior of the building good. The beds were very comfortable. Room and bathroom and linens very clean

Sooooo hot in my room but that could also be said of everywhere I visited in Basel these few days. The Swiss don’t seem to do aircon. I did request a fan for my room based on previous reviews and thankfully they had supplied 2 especially which were essential on the 29 and 30 degree days. The interior of the hotel has had a revamp but it’s ultra basic, rather sparsely furnished but the view from my balcony certainly made up for it.

The room was absolutely great, it had a separation to turn it into effectively two rooms which ended up being a great resource to sleep my 2yo.

It was too hot, we suffered peak heat and record temperatures which makes a non-controlled temperature room become uncomfortable

Nossa reserva foi para um quarto duplo simples e realmente não atendia as expectativas . Foram gentis e nos deram na outra noite um quarto melhor. A localização é ótima , perto de tudo .

A primeira foi muito pequena - os quartos não tem A.C. e estava bem calor.

Hatte eine erholsame Nacht - das Bett war bequem, das Zimmer für den Preis groß und hatte alles was man benötigt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Freundlichkeit der Angestellten, insbesondere an der Rezeption. Da ich das erste Mal in Basel war und erschöpft von einer langen Wanderung, wurde mir mit Information rund um das Hotel und der Stadt sehr geholfen. Wenn ich wieder in Basel übernachten sollte, wäre es mit sehr hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit wieder hier!

Die Lage des Hotels ist traumhaft. Nur wird es an warmen Sommerabenden an den Wochenende etwas laut, wenn man ein Zimmer zur Rheinseite hat. Die Leute freiern eben. Ansonsten ist der Blick auf den Rhein wunderschön und das Hotel prima, Frühstück gut und Personal nett. Alles ok

Dass ich nichtohne geschlossenes Fenster einschlafen konnte, weil es draussen durch Terasse und schönes Wetter etwas laut war. Aber das ist eben nicht zu ändern, dafür hat man den schönen Blick auf den Rhein

Super Service, reichhaltiges. Frühstücksbuffet mit lachs, Gemüse und frischen Früchten.

Das Zimmer war nicht klimatisiert. Mit guten Ventilatoren wäre wohl etwas Schlf möglich.

Das Hotel hat eine hervorragende Lage direkt am Rhein mit kurzen Wegen zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Altstadt das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat sich schnell um alle Belange gekümmert.

Für mich gab es nichts zu beanstanden.

The staff were welcoming, the room was so clean, lovely view of the river and had everything needed. Bed was comfortable and shower was good. When there was no body wash left staff replaced it quickly. Very happy and would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again!

Sehr gute Lage, ein sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, schöne Zimmer mit Minibar, im Preis inbegriffen. Badewanne mit Duschgelegenheit. Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit einem kleinen Balkon und Blick auf den Rhein. Abendliche Geräuschkulisse bei offenem Fenster, da es doch warm wurde in dem Zimmer, hat mich nicht gestört. Es hatte keine Klimaanlage, aber zwei Ventilatoren.

De ligging

1e nacht rampzalig. Kamer naast ons een technische installaties die continu pompte en heel veel lawaai maakte. Kamer ook niet zo netjes verzorgd. Geen andere Kamer vrij. Volgende dag andere Kamer gekregen. Deze zag er veel beter uit en rustig.

L’emplacement est clairement le principal point positif de l’établissement. La situation m’a bien convenu et c’est ce qui relève un peu l’expérience. Le personnel, le confort et les équipements étaient corrects, mais sans rien de particulièrement remarquable.

La propreté a été le principal problème de mon séjour et m’a vraiment déçu. Pour un hôtel, c’est pourtant un point essentiel. Le rapport qualité/prix est également très mauvais selon moi : au vu du prix payé, je m’attendais à une prestation nettement supérieure. Le confort, les équipements et le service étaient assez moyens et n’ont malheureusement pas permis de compenser ces points négatifs. Dans l’ensemble, l’expérience a été largement en dessous de mes attentes et je ne peux pas donner une meilleure note que 3/10.

De kamer aan de achterkant aan een straat waar tot 05:00 ‘s morgens lawaai van een bar. Raam moest daardoor dicht blijven. Er was geen airco, en het was warm, dus de nachten waren niet door te komen.

Ich war schon zum zweiten Mal hier & wurde gratis in eine höhere Kategorie mit wunderschönem Ausblick upgraded. Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt :)

Tolle Lage direkt am Rhein, sehr zentral gelegen.

Trotz neuen Möbel sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Zimmer ohne Klima waren sehr muffig.

Great location

It (re-)opened in spring so I thought the hotel would be brand new - it was probably just refurbished. It gives it an old school charm, but mean it wasn't as full comfort as I'd have expected. The room didn't have aircon for instance, but an old metal fan was providing a bit of much needed cooler air.

Arrived and nobody was at reception, had to walk into the connecting restaurant to ask how to find someone on reception but they couldn’t help and didn’t know. Waited around 15 mins to then be told the car park is full and we cannot park at the hotel. Told to use a car park which was a 10 minute drive away since it was all one way. Room was roasting hot and provided with 2 fans which didn’t cool the room down, the next morning on check out when I informed who seemed to be the manager she was very dismissive and told me they aren’t allowed to have air conditioning in the listed building but then as we walked around the city most places in listed buildings do have ac! So I think this way a lie! Our room smelled of smoke which was unpleasant when travelling with kids. The staff were rude in my opinion. Apart from the location I think this hotel is very poor.

During very hot spells, blinds should be pulled down before guests arrive to keep some coolness. Our room was very hot. Air conditioning would be a plus in future heat waves

Emplacement idéal face au Rhin et central avec transports en commun accessibles. + la location du fameux Wickelfish pour faire la descente du Rhin que je recommande ! Personnel hyper agréable et prévenant !

Il faisait un peu chaud sans système de climatisation mais c'était la canicule.

Bazı çalışanlar suratsızdı ve otel çok eskiydi kahvaltıya gelirsek tam bir hayal kırıklığıydı kızım için omlet yapmalarını istedim onu bile yapmadılar zaten 3-5 kahvaltılık vardı onlarıda bittikçe tamamlayamadılar bile.

Przystanek tramwajowy,lidl,coop,apteka,kosciol- wszystko w zasiegu wzroku.Okolica bardzo glosna- imprezy nocne, remonty w ciagu dnia, samochody,tramwaje-niestety nie da sie funkcjonowac przy otwartych oknach,a przy zamknietych latem tez nie,bo nie ma klimatyzacji,a nawiew centralny tylko halasuje,bo nie czuc podmuchu.Na szczescie dali po wiatraku na pokoj. Barek w pokoju codziennie uzupelniany soft drinkami,w cenie pokoju. Zdarza sie,ze nie uzupelnia z gapiostwa. Niestety lodowka ledwo co chlodzi,ale dobrze,ze jest. Lozka wygodne,duze malzenskie.W lazience rowniez brak wywiewu. Obsluga bardzo pomocna,zawsze dostepna,wielojezyczna. Woda gazowana i niegazowana dostepna bez limitu w cenie wynajmu. Express do kawy dostepny w pokoju. Niektore okna sa tylko uchylne,bo nie dzialaja poprawie.Nie da sie ich otworzyc na oścież. Wymeldowanie o g.12,wiec to jest super. Jesli stawiasz na wyspanie sie i spokoj to odradzam,jesli na dobra lokalizacje i imprezowanie bez wiekszych wymagan to jest spoko.

The staff in the reception and the waiters serving at the breakfast situation, was all extremely friendly and helpful - so kindly and with an open-minded happy attitude, I not have seen very often, during my many stays on nice hotels around in the world 🙏

Absolutely nothing to complain about‼️

Check in was very smooth, breakfast was also nice. The position is very central and easy to find from the central station (~25 Min by foot, but there is also public transportation)

There is no air conditioning and on a hot day the room is a little too hot.

Heerlijke plek midden in het centrum, ik kreeg een upgrade naar een kamer met zicht op de Rijn. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding was prima in orde in een relatief dure stad als Basel.

Die Lage fantastisch. Das Zimmer mit Balkon und dem traumhaften Blick auf den Rhein, die Altstadt mit Münster und den Rheinuferweg sind einfach umwerfend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders schön: Ich durfte früher einchecken und erhielt sogar ein Zimmer-Upgrade.

Lage war gut.

Das Zimmer war viel zu heiss - nur ein kleiner Van, keine Klimaanlage. Viel zu laut - neben dem Hotel war eine Bar. Die Gäste waren sehr laut bis 03.00 Uhr.

Badkamer met totaal onvoldoende verlichting. ( kamer 503) Toezegging om factuur per mail na te sturen werd niet ingelost.

L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Bâle. Il semblerait que l'hôtel ait été rénové il y a peu donc tout est propre malgré l'ancienneté du batiment. Très bon petit déjeuner avec terrasse s'il fait beau. Nous avons eu le privilège d'avoir une chambre plus grande avec vue rivière alors que nous avions réservé une chambre sur la rue, merci beaucoup c'est très appréciable. La chambre n'était pas très grande mais la vue magnifique avec un petit balcon!

The central location right on the river was ideal. The view from the small balcony was lovely. The breakfast had enough options and was of decent quality, and the breakfast room was spacious and quiet with plenty of tables for everyone.

The lack of air conditioning is a big negative. There were 2 fans in the room to circulate the air, but the room was still too warm for a comfortable sleep. The room, a standard twin, was compact. The TV had only 3 available channels.

Die Du Pont oder Mittlere Brücke liegt direkt vor dem Hotel. Man kann zu Fuß in die Innenstadt. Ansonsten sind Busse und Bahne vor der Tür. Das Hotel vergibt die kostenlose Basel-Card für die Nutzung der Öffis. Die Betten sind groß und bequem.

Wir waren 1 Nacht im Familienzimmer im zweite Stock, leider auf die Straßenseite. Mit Fenstern auf die Bahn- und Taxistelle. Das Zimmer hat Klimaanlage. Die Ventilatoren wurden bereit gestellt, aber sie konnten nicht für die Abkühlung sorgen. Durch die geöffneten Fenster kam zwar ein bisschen kühlere Luft rein, aber auch extrem viel Lärm von der Straße. So dass wir bis 3 Uhr Nachts nicht einschlafen konnten. Also, im Sommer würden wir nicht empfehlen ein Zimmer auf die Straßenseite anzunehmen.

Es war ein rundum schöner Aufenthalt! Die Lage des Hotels direkt am Rhein ist nicht zu toppen und alles ist schnell zu erreichen zu Fuß oder mit der Tram - sogar kostenlos mit der BaselCard, die man vom Hotel erhält. Das Bett war sehr bequem, ich habe wunderbar geschlafen. Auch das Frühstück war lecker und bot eine gute Auswahl. Freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service. Habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt und komme gerne wieder. Absolut empfehlenswert! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Pas de possibilité de venir à l'hôtel en voiture. Toutes les rues sont piétonnes, pourtant il indiqué qu'il y a un parking. Pas de clim dans les chambres, pour un établissement à ce prix c'est plutôt moyen.

Der ausgezeichnete Service und das sehr freundliche Personal und die sehr zentrale Lage.

Teilweise die Lautstärke unterhalb des Zimmers, da es direkt am Rhein liegt mit vielen Leuten, die bis tief in die Nacht Party machen. Keine Klimaanlage.

Sehr schönes Hotel in top Lage direkt am Rhein mit Blick auf die Altstadt. Sehr freundliches Personal und tolles Frühstücksbuffet, bei schönem Wetter auf der Terasse direkt am Wasser. Bequeme Betten und Nespressomaschine auf dem Zimmer für den Kaffee zwischendurch.

Sehr schönes, sauberes und komfortables Zimmer mit einem wirklich bequemen Bett, Nespresso Maschine, dem schönsten Ausblick in ganz Basel und mit super Frühstück direkt am Rhein. Ich habe hervorragend geschlafen..Alles wirkte gepflegt, heimelig und angenehm. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Lage direkt am Rhein: zentral, wunderschön und für mich einfach unschlagbar. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt und komme sehr gerne wieder!
