For myke senger. Og det var to enkeltsenger plassert ved siden av hverandre og overmadrassene skled ut hele tiden. Sluket i badekaret var ikke tett så vannet rant ut under bading. Litt mange korridorer og lang vei fra resepsjon til rommet vi fikk.

Lite svårt att navigera var man var, skyltningen kunde vara bättre var rummen finns. Första 10 min efter att vi kom upp från parkeringen i garaget gick vi runt för att försöka hitta till vårt rum.

Hard to get from the garage to the room. The room was a bit small but fine.

Rock festival not ideal for noise either but party next door to our room was worse - however dealt with quickly with staff and security at 2.30am. Thank you! Breakfast good but lack of staff disappointing. Bike hire was great for us - easy to sort and worked well. Rooms compact but nice and modern

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026We were really impressed with this hotel. The location is great with safe parking. We prebooked this and it was in a garage underneath the hotel. The room was in the new part of the building with a balcony. It wasn’t very spacious but was fine. Staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the Bishop’s Arms on the ground floor. There was a good selection of food. We had schnitzel and a burger. We loved the rooftop bar although we thought the drinks were more expensive there. The pool is warm but small, more like a big jacuzzi. We were staying midweek but we didn’t find the breakfast room crowded. The breakfast was amazing one of the best we have ever had. Food was regularly replenished and there were some special extras like homemade butter, smoothies, pancakes, cakes, meatballs etc. you could even make your own waffles!
The airconditioning is totally useless. We left our balcony window open and although we were above the road it kept us cool and the road wasn’t too noisy. You need to be able to open your window and it might be too hot in summer. The hotel do need to spend money to sort this problem out.

The hotel recommends buying parking in advance, but the advance price is triple what it costs to handle the parking on site. Large parking area near the library was perfect for our needs.
