What an exceptional night! Rooms were amazing! 3 couples travelled together and each of our rooms were special! Definitely recommend!!

Die Lage ist einmalig und reizt zum erneuten Besuch. Das Zimmer war ein wenig eng, aber originell. Der Service ist hervorragend; besser geht es nicht.

Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en het personeel heel vriendelijk. We overnachten in een torenkamertje met uitzicht over de Rijn. Het kasteel is voorzien van alle comfort en heeft zijn authenticiteit heel smaakvol behouden.

Such a beautiful historical location with sumptuous aesthetic details - a refreshing alternative to the usual grey and beige minimalism that’s taken over the world! The kind service, incredible bathtub in our room, and delicious breakfast buffet were highlights.

The CASTLE! The restaurants all had commanding views of the Rhine.. The staff in both hotel and restsurant were exemplary !

Our stay of 3 night was too short ! The wooden bridge to the parking lot was an adventure - in a good way.

Prachtig kasteel/hotel op rand van een berg met uitzicht over de Rijn en naastgelegen dorp. Mooie tuin, goed eten en ontbijt. Ruim parkeren ook voor grote auto's/busjes. De helling omhoog mag je niet tegenhouden, er is een golfkarretje om koffers en eventueel slecht ter been zijnde mensen omhoog te rijden. Wij waren op de terugweg naar Nederland.

Das Personal war sensationell, freundlich, zuvorkommend und gab einem das Gefühl, sehr willkommen zu sein. Die Burg ist wunderschön, lädt zu einer Erkundungstour ein und bietet einen wunderschönen Ausblick über die Rheinlandschaft. Auch am Essen gibt es nichts auszusetzen.

The location high on a hillside with beautiful views of the Rhine. Food and service was outstanding. Room was over the top.

The only thing I would recommend is to have some kind of valet service to help with luggage from the parking lot. Quite the steep climb.

Lovely property! Well restored and beautiful!

I fell in love. Everything aspect was better than the last. The staff was very kind and accommodating and even helped us get checked in earlier. The rooms are super clean and every amenity was thought of and taken care of. Breakfast and dinner were divine. It was truly a magical experience. Highly recommended.

Accueil froid à la réception nous n’avons pas été bien reçus.

Ik heb in mijn leven ongelooflijk veel gezien van de wereld en vooral van hotels. Dit overtrof ALLES. Je waant je terug in de tijd, in tijden van charme, klasse, degelijkheid, kleur, natuur, oudheid en vooral elegantie. De kamers zijn prachtig, het personeel uiterst netjes en verzorgend, de omgeving is magisch, maar bovenal......hoe is het mogelijk dat een kasteel als dit op deze wijze ingezet kan worden om je voor heel even je een echte prins of prinses te voelen? In èèn woord? Waanzinnig!

Niets. Werkelijk niets te bedenken. Het werd een droom die werkelijkheid werd. Prachtig.

Das Gelände und der Garten, der viel mehr ein Zauberwald ist, sind ein Traum für Alleinreisende, Paare und Familien. Es gibt so viel zu entdecken. Auch der Ausblick vom Balkon ist sehr schön.

Das Angebot für Veganer*innen und Vegetarier*innen im Hotelrestaurant ist sicher ausbaufähig. Leider gab es nur eine sehr kleine Auswahl.

Wow!!! What a wonderful stay, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They really made us feel welcome and wanted and not just a person to stay. Every day was a pleasure and very relaxing I highly recommend anyone who would like to visit the Rhine River valley should make this one of their stops All rooms are unique and add to the castle without disturbing the feel of the castle but keeping modern facilities available

暑い季節なのでエアコン無しが不安でしたがベランダの扉を開けると涼しい風が入って来て快適でした。虫が少なく気になりませんでした。

Standard rooms on the smaller side for two people, but it is centuries old. No A/C in rooms or restaurant, but only an issue when abnormally hot.

I loved everything about this place. It was magical staying here. On the side note, there is no AC. It didn’t affect us at all but it might if high temperatures are reached. I highly recommend staying here.

Die Hotelanlage in der Burg ist wirklich beeindruckend und das Ambiente ist wunderschön – man fühlt sich wie ein Fürst. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das perfekt geschulte und entgegenkommende Personal im Hotel sowie in den Restaurants. Die Aussicht auf den Rhein ist sehr schön. Auch der verwunschene Garten ist fantastisch. Obwohl der Aufenthalt nicht billig war, ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis völlig in Ordnung.

Ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis, in einer historischen Ritterburg zu wohnen. Die Burg bietet so viele Ambientes, dass man sie gar nicht verlassen möchte.

早餐很棒，但是6月底德国的气温太高了，这个酒店没有空调。我住的楼层比较高，晚上非常非常热，我一晚上都没有睡着，只能不停的洗澡和喝冰箱里的水。

Awesome experience and stay! Highly recommend. Restaurant was excellent. Gourmet breakfast! Even tapas late night were amazing! Perfect in every way.

Not specific to hotel: If you have a big appetite, make sure you plan on eating before 9pm anywhere in the area.

Es war fantastisch und ich werde definitiv noch einmal wiederkommen. Sehr freundliches Personal, schönes Zimmer und eine tolle Aussicht. Man kommt sich vor als hätte man eine kleine Zeitreise unternommen, einfach nur herrlich. Ein wunderschöner großer Garten der zum Entspannen und Träumen einlädt. Beide Restaurants haben eine sehr gute Küche. Ich habe abends im Bistro gegessen und war sehr zufrieden. Morgens konnte ich das Frühstück bei herrlichem Wetter auf der Terrasse genießen und so ein Morgenanfang ist einfach unbezahlbar. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und sehr gut, der Blick auf das Rheintal dabei fantastisch und das Personal so unglaublich nett. Ich habe geschlafen wie ein kleines Burgfräulein und auch wenn ich nur das Kleine Einzelzimmer hatte, es war alles mit soviel Liebe hergerichtet, die Minibar war kostenlos und voll und es gab auch noch eine Karaffe Sherry auf Kosten des Hauses. Parken konnte man natürlich auch kostenlos. Das Museum hatte leider geschlossen, aber das tat der Sache keinen Abbruch. Ein absolutes Wohlfühlhotel und immer einen Besuch wert. Ich plane schon meinen nächsten Besuch und dann gemeinsam mit meinem Schatz in einer der Suiten.

Wer hier etwas zu meckern hat, dem ist nicht mehr zu helfen - alles Bestens

It's hard to fault this place given it is a real castle. Facilities were fantastic, the staff treated you with respect and thoughtfulness. Sure, the stairs squeaked and the room door locks were quirky... but that is the whole point of this place... it's a castle and it is amazing with views over the river or over the castle grounds, all were beautiful. The rooms were thoughtfully appropriate.

라인강변 여행에서는 꼭 한번은 묵어봐야한다고 생각이 드는 호텔입니다 모든것이 앤틱한 분위기이라서 특별한 기분을 느끼게 해주는 기분좋은 호텔입니다 아침식사도 꽤 괜찮고 호텔 직원들의 태도는 5성급 호텔에 묵는 느낌이 들게 해주는 복장과 태도에 아주 기분이 좋았습니다. 포터 서비스도 매우 좋았고 웰컴푸드로 과일과 쉐리와인, 그리고 미니바의 다양한 음료들을 준비해 두시는 섬세함도 좋았습니다 불만이 전혀 생기지 않는 곳이예요.

아쉬웠던 것은 없었어요.

This is such an enchanting place to stay! Facilities are lovely, staff is helpful and friendly, food is fantastic.

It is a little hard to get up to with your suitcase, but if you need to, they will go to the parking lot and bring your bags up. We just prepared so that we only brought the essentials up to the room.

Geweldige lokatie, hotel is een droomkasteel.

Niet echt commentaar maar een tweetal tips. 1) neem een goede koffiemachine, deze koffie is echt niet ok, volgens mij gevriesdroogde poederkoffie 2) de wijnkaart in het gewone restaurant is erg summier, terwijl er een grote wijnkaart is van het andere restaurant Dit moet toch simpel op te lossen zijn voor diegenen die wat meer keuze willen hebben.

ライン川沿いにあって、朝食夕食会場からもライン川と葡萄畑、列車の景色が綺麗 夕食のお値段が意外と高くなくドイツにしては珍しく美味しくおしゃれ

Just unbelievable. Spend the few extra dollars for a special room. It is SO worth it. Also, make sure to eat your meal at the castle. You do not need to go into the village.it was incredible!!

部屋の小さなベランダからのライン川の眺めが最高でした。中世の古城の雰囲気をたっぷり味わえました。 スタッフ、特にレセプションの女性はとても親切でした。

ホテルは丘の上にあるので、歩いて行くのは難しいですが、事前にホテルにタクシーの予約を頼んでおいたので、行きも帰りもホテルスムーズでした。必ず予約することをお勧めします。

建物が昔のまま保存されていて素晴らしかったです。眺めも美しく、特にミュージアムの展望台からの景色は必見です。館内のあちこちに素晴らしい家具があり、庭も素晴らしかったです。 ルーム16に泊まりました。小さなバルコニーと大きなバスルームがあり、部屋は青い色調でとても素敵でした。

車でないと行くのが非常に困難な事です。駅からGoogleの地図を辿ると登山コースになり、すべりやすく細くて横は高い崖の道を歩くので荷物を持っていると危険です。帰りは駅まで車を手配してもらいましたが19.5ユーロでした。リュックのみで行くか荷物があるなら車で行く必要があると感じました。登る価値は十分にありました。

Loved the authenticity of the castle rooms and the services provided. Dinner was phenomenal and our sauna and hottub room was perfekt.

Das Frühstück war hervorragend habe sogar eine Kanne Kaffee vor dem Frühstück bekommen dank ihrer lieben Bedienung fand ich sehr lieb weil mir als Frühaufsteher 8 Uhr bisschen spät ist...würde sofort zehn Punkte geben war alles sehr schön aber bitte die Fernsehverbindung verbessern kann man gar nicht schauen ohne Störung oder verzehrte Sprache

Das Personal war hervorragend immer nett und hilfsbereit sehr schöne Burg und sehr schönes sauberes Zimmer haben außer dem Fernseher und dem bisschen späten Frühstück gar nichts zu meckern

From the first moment we were greeted by a staff member, a very tall, friendly, well-dressed older German man, we were treated warmly and kindly. And our spoken German is very rudimentary but any of the staff that helped us were very patient and generally fully understood English. The grounds were enchanting, we explored every inch of the castle hotel and grounds. The room was magnificent and very clean, cozy, and well-appointed. we were even welcomed with a complimentary glass of delicious sherry! And we had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel which was elegant but very cozy and the views were perfect of the surrounding small town and of course the gorgeous Rhine River and valley.

The history, the grounds, the hotel room, the service, the staff - all amazing! We had a unique and wonderful experience. Breakfast was very good and service within the hotel was very good as well. The best part, though, would be the grounds and the room, especially the secret door to the bathroom!

Dinner was good but not amazing, though it was perfectly fine and the ambience and location were very great. I would just caution people with physical limitations to consider their needs before booking, as many parts of the hotel are not wheelchair accessible (thought his is common in Europe and a medieval castle, of course).
