Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Kelowna Airport

I stayed at the Hampton Inn Kelowna in mid-December, before and after a trip to Mexico. I was able to leave my car in their fenced parking lot while I was away. I used to stay at another hotel further from the airport, but they have gone downhill, charging for the airport shuttle, reducing the quality of their included breakfast, and the property was getting quite run down. This year I decided to try somewhere else, and I’m so glad I did. The Hampton is much better and the price, after factoring in the cost of a cab or Uber to the airport, is almost the same. The hotel is quite new and is very bright and spacious. Check-in was quick and easy. I was provided with all pertinent information without having to ask. The room was clean and bright and the bed was very comfortable. One aspect I really enjoyed was the heating/cooling. I like the room to be quite cool at night, which is often hard to accomplish. The thermostat was easy to use and the room cooled down quickly. When I got up in the morning I turned up the heat and the room was toasty warm in no time. My flight out was early, so the breakfast buffet was not open, but they offered me a bagged breakfast to go. The included free shuttle arrived on time and the driver was very polite. The trip to the airport takes less than 5 minutes. On my return (at midnight), I just had to call the hotel to request the shuttle and it was there in minutes. I was able to enjoy the complimentary breakfast after my return. It was varied and delicious, with eggs, sausage, waffles, bread, pastries, cereal, fruit and more. Checkout was a breeze and I retrieved my car and was on my way. I will definitely stay at the Hampton Inn in the future.

Convenient to the airport and a grocery store.

This property is consistently great. Clean. Quiet. Convenient. Restaurant next door, lovely.

Every was excellent

Staff were really nice, room was very clean and business friendly with a nice dest and tv screen.

Clean rooms

All was first class

It was an unexpected stay due to the last minute flight cancellation. Booked this hotel at the airport just before midnight. Great shuttle service and simple decent breakfast. Rooms are great. Staff are very friendly.

Our stay was amazing, the staff were great. There was a good restaurant just across the parking lot if you didn’t wish to drive anywhere, the free breakfast was great. Parking was free and easy. Central location for our trip requirements. The only small comment I would have is I prefer a softer bed and perhaps a bit firmer pillows.

Love our stay. Thanks

Nice hotel for an overnight before flight.

Everything was very clean and comfortable

Got stuck on a lay over and they were perfect.

Nice stay good breakfast

Friendly staff and very nice rooms

clean and convenient as it's close to the airport

Good that it is close to the airport. Probably the district is still fairly new and the bus service may not be too convenient. I would say it takes time to further develop. Overall the hotel and the places nearby provide a comfortable environment.

Very convenient for airport

My stay was great , I willl give you guys 5 stars for sure just because of your staff service . My issue was my TV never turned on , called front desk and the kind young guy came up reset the breaker and had do do the Telus reboot . All good no issue , later on that night I used the micro wave and blew the breaker again and lost my TV again . Luckily. I saw what the young guy did to reset by removing the micro wave and reset it my self without having to call front desk. Other than that , the staff was amazing helpful and

Friendly staff, nice room, convenient location

I visited Kelowna for a funeral and recently stayed Hampton Inn Kelowna Airport. The lady that checked us (Dianne) in was absolutely fantastic! She was there the next day, extended our check out time and arranged for shuttle to take us to RF Aerospace for our funeral service. Signed me up for Hilton Honors and explained the benefits of the program. She told us about the amenities in the hotel and sister hotels. The room was perfect and the free breakfast was great also. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Kelowna. The employees are gems.

I did not like the noisy fan for A/V in the room. The eggs were dried out and somewhat hard, the food did not seem fresh. I did not enjoy the breakfast very much.

Great staff assistance upon checkin, clean and nice rooms.

In its class, the Hampton Inn brand/experience is the king; the standard to which all the others aspire. However, this particular property was aging and on the decline. Slow elevator, corridors a bit dark and dingy and parking lot cramped and claustrophobic. Nearly every day, the is a mass influx of Rocky Mountaineer train travellers that arrive and depart all at once, along with their 300-400 suitcases handled, albeit, with military efficiency by a 6-man moving crew. If you avoid that craziness, your stay will be just fine.

Neat

Nice rooms, comfortable beds, nice showers, but room quite dark during the day. Not much for view. Facing street view. Didn’t care for their choice of the cutlery in the breakfast buffets (disposable wooden) but the continental breakfasts were wonderful with lots of selection Front desk staff (Diane) very friendly and accommodating.

Great stay. Big clean rooms and lovely pool and breakfast area. Mostly staff were great.

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times and Ariana always seems to be working during our stay. She has gone out of her way repeatedly to ensure we always feel welcome and have everything we need. She is a definite asset to your establishment

The staff is very kind and room is clean. Also it is closed to the airport.

Wishing the breakfast included eggs with no cheese for those of us who can’t do cheese

airport shuttle, wi-fi, breakfast

When I pay for a suite, I would like some sort of separation of the bedroom from the generalized living area. Not just a door on the bathroom (eye roll).

Best thing about this property is the friendly welcoming staff.

Friendly staff and very clean. Brekfast could have more variaty, cofee is not good.

Family friendly

Rating says it all.

Great hotel for flights in and out of the airport. Comfy beds.

I saw that Kelowna did have some higher crime rates, so l wanted to stay in a place that appeared to be exceptionally respectable. This safe hotel got great ratings, and while it was expensive, I had an outstanding stay. There was plenty of free parking on this property. There was a shuttle for the adjacent airport, but it had no impact on me. This hotel had an elevator, there were six (6) stories, and I really enjoyed my usages of the heated pool and of the hot tub. This gym had some weight machines, some free weights, and some cardio machines, and I really enjoyed my usages of them. This hotel had an amazing breakfast, and it included: omelettes, potatoes, English muffins, waffles, bagels, breads, cereals, muffins, fruits, and an assortment of beverages. My room was very clean and it was well-decorated, and it had: a television set, a desk with a chair, a couch, a safe, a big bed, some night tables, a toilet, a hot-water shower, and a sink. This room had heat and air-conditioning, and the Wi-Fi worked very well. While this hotel appeared to be very busy, it was also quite quiet. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It probably took me about fifteen (15) minutes to get to downtown Kelowna and to the vineyards. Also, this hotel had many restaurants, gasoline stations, and stores right next to it, but I never used any of them.

Great place to stay. Close to everything we needed

Fantastic stay. Great breakfast buffet. Immaculately clean room. Nice gym and laundry areas. Convenient parking. Great location near university and hiking.

We recently stayed here as a family of four, and it was such a great experience from start to finish. The staff were so kind and welcoming, always taking the time to smile and interact with our kids, which made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed to keep everyone comfortable. The pool was definitely a highlight; perfect for the kids to burn off energy and for us to relax together. We also appreciated the little family-friendly touches, like high chairs available at breakfast. It’s s not always easy traveling with kids, but this stay reminded us how much smoother things go when a hotel is truly family oriented. We’ll definitely be back! We recently started a family IG page to share little glimpses of our life, parenting moments, and the adventures that come with raising kids. It’s been such a fun way to connect with other families and parents who can relate to this stage of life. As we continue to grow, we’d love to explore opportunities for collaborations down the road with brands that share our values and focus on family life. If you’re interested in connecting, we’d be so excited to chat!

Very good shape

Beautiful hotel, clean and friendly staff

Not good

One of the best hotel gyms I"ve been to. Clean, well stoked with heavy dumbbells and a few kettlebells, two quality benches, and a bunch of treadmills and pelotons.

Room was great, clean, comfortable, and convenient. Super close to the airport.

There is a $10 for a vehicle parking per night.

Close to airport

Things that stood out for Me: kind staff, good gym facilities, on-site laundry, comfy bed and close to airport.

Pet friendly, and lots of easy parking access.

Clean and comfortable with good service.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay left a lot to be desired. First off, housekeeping was not offered every day, which meant dirty floors, dirty toilets, and overflowing bins became the norm. Towels ran out halfway through our stay, and getting replacements felt like pulling teeth. The room itself wasn’t well-maintained floors were visibly unclean from the moment we arrived, and it didn’t improve over time. For the price we paid, I expected at least basic cleanliness and daily service. To top it off, the hotel charges extra for car parking. That might be acceptable in a downtown luxury hotel, but this place is far from that. Most hotels offer free parking as a courtesy, so this felt like an unnecessary cash grab. One thing was extra ordinary, the breakfast was awesome, excellent choices, with hot breakfast. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless they seriously rethink their standards and guest experience.

Excellent

A very convenient location for access to airport.

Close to airport

Polite and welcoming, provided free parking.

It’s clean the pillow is comfy .They have variety breakfast and delicious with a good service.

Great experience

Beds were comfortable, walking distance to many food options. 5 minute drive to kangaroo farm.

The hotel maintains excellent cleanliness standards and offers well-equipped facilities. Staff are courteous and attentive, and the complimentary breakfast is of good quality with a nice selection.

Super close to the airport and therefor very convenient. Staff were helpful, polite, etc. Room was a great size and very clean. Airport shuttle service was easy and convenient. Breakfast was about what could be expected, nothing spectacular but easy and convenient.

Overall good

Nice big room for 5

Good

We really enjoy our room, it was very clean and quiet. Breakfast could be improved by having the portions warmer and enough for everyone since they run out of orange juice not a big deal but just a little bit of improvement doesn't hurt.

The pool and breakfast were great! Very friendly staff. We stay here every time we visit

Property really clean, rooms clean, beds really comfortable, nice Testurant. Amazing Staff.

Love the experience. Kids love the pool and breakfast

Front desk cannot provide invoice or how much I paid for the room due to booking through Expedia but the next hotel we stayed manage to provide when ask. Fdesk was alone during peak time of checking out - feel sorry for her. I work with hskp for 28yrs. Our room was spotless n ‘no hair’.

Close proximity to the airport

Comfortable stay

Food was good room very good bed was great Easy for the airport

Great room to rest like air conditioning works so well with bed comforts to snooze after a day of going outside exploring

Very friendly and accommodating welcome. Shuttle from airport was a huge bonus.

Good experience

A great hotel for an overnight stay to catch a flight the next morning. Great shuttle service and walking distance to the airport. Good restaurant choices close to the hotel as well.

Convenient location but pay parking should be free as we're already paying for our stay.

Checkin was amazing and the room was so clean and comfortable.

Good property

Great experience, nice hotel

Easy in and out

Easy to get to airport.

Let’s talk first about the room . The bed comfortable but unfortunately the sheet smells like a runner man sweat lol, the bed skirt had a snot I took a photo , the snot was over the billow . Let’s talk about the customer services , the evening shift lead by the manager ( Natalia ) was top of the top her members team were so helpful and kinds ❤️. But unfortunately the morning shift lead by the Manager (Ryan) was unhelpful especially the manager (Ryan) who is unhelpful , racist , so if you are brown with a Middle Eastern name be advice to avoid this man , he will let your experience horrible !!! . Let’s talk about the food , the breakfast amazing from hot selection to cold juices amazing really !!!! I will recommend this hotel if I don’t have a bad experience and bad conflict with the morning manage (Ryan ) 👎👎👎

Quiet and great staff, easy check in and out. Had to leave early for the airport, they had a breakfast to go bag made up for us.

Our stay was pleasant, the room was very large and clean.

Very nice hotel

Clean and spacious. I would come back.

I loved this hotel, it had several food options nearby. The staff went above and beyond, fastest and easiest check-in ever. What I really loved was how great it was having a dog. They had a quick access right off the elevator, no lobby trekking. There were dog poop bags stands, quiet, lots of grass to do their business.

Beautiful property. We had such a great stay. Thank you to all the staff, we will be back.

This is a great place to stay. Nice and clean. Excellent services and amenities.

Wonderful and convenient stay!

Ok

Very nice hotel one complaint, the “hot breakfast” was not celiac friendly. The eggs were the only thing I could have. Neither the sausage or hashbrowns were safe. ( Kudos to the lady that knew)

Nice Hotel

Great hotel in Lake Country. Clean and modern. Close to wineries and good restaurants.

Nice place

Close to airport …. Good bed , quiet

Clean and close to airport
