La chsmbre: nous avons choisi la chambre privilège plus chère pour avoir une grande chambre,, malgré cela le lit petit et inconfortable était sur un côté quasiment collé au mur. La chambre est sans déco et terne, tout est marron de la moquette au canapé et aux rideaux, les murs et plafonds sont en crépi et le mobilier en bois de 1er prix. Tres mal éclairée, sombre, et pas de lumière côté canapé (impossible de lire). . Très mal insonorisee côté couloir et par rapport à l'étage du dessus. La salle de bain : accès à la baignoire très difficile car trop haute, et serviettes de bain minuscules.. Pas digne d'un Mercure 4* au prix facturé.

Very limited parking, u have to book otherwise it’s a car park a few metres away from the hotel. Nothing wrong with the quality of the dinner but not much choice.

The bathroom was dirty and not clean , the shower was horrible and could not use it ! The hotel gave us a 20euro discount, but I would have rather had a clean shower I could use !

We did not like the bar not being available, It was mostly closed during our visit and never open after 11pm. The hotel would have received at least a £1000 in bar sales had the staff bothered to open it. Also one of our group had no bed sheets on his bed on the first night. Our driver was told accommodation had not been booked, and had to book in to another hotel, when in fact his room had been booked for the 3 nights. Our trip was lessened due to these failings.

Een probleem met het water, geen douche of water voor bijv. de wc werd gemeld zonder excuus of ander gebaar. De tweede avond was er wel water maar alleen koud water. Het restaurant was middelmatig. In naam leuke gerechten werden saai en met weinig smaak geserveerd.

Pour le prix dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de piscine et salle de sport. Pas de petit frigo … et à part du gel douche il n’y a rien. La Clim ne marche pas bcp … Rien pour les chiens dans les chambres … Pas bcp de choix au petit déjeuner pour un hôtel de cette qualité …

Un unique ascenseur vétuste et lent pour théoriquement une centaine de chambres. Pas de réfrigérateur en chambre. Pas de prise de courant près des lits. Nourriture fade au restaurant.

Lock on the accessible toilet downstairs was broken, as was the toilet seat in our room. Requested an accessible room, but it was on first floor, via a very small lift which my son's wheelchair could only just fit into. The accessible room on the ground floor has a double bed - not suitable for my son and I. The hotel corridors also had a musty smell.

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026Op zich is het een goed hotel met een goed restaurant, de keuze van het menu is redelijk, maar wel lekker. Er is een parkeerkelder, maar helaas met maar 6 plaatsen, dus je moet geluk hebben.
De ligging in het centrum klopt wel, maar er is helemaal niets te beleven in het centrum, er is 1 restaurantje om de hoek, verder helemaal niets. Het hotel is erg gehorig, je hoort je bovenburen en alles wat er op de gang langskomt.

The reception was like a building site, no health and safety measures in place. Ladders and equipment left unattended and when the workers returned they clearly had no concept of safe working practices nor for the safety of the guests.

La climatisation était quasi inexistante - avec la chambre face sud, il faisait très chaud dans la chambre. Un manque de serviettes de toilettes, qui n’a pas pu être réglé!

Lack of amenities in the bathroom. Impossible de unscrew the liquid soap container, no shower cap nor shampoo or other lotions usually available in a four-star hotel. . Aperitif served with no nuts or biscuits. just a glass and that's all. I had to get the key/card of my room re-magnised four times although I kept it in a separate compartment in my handbag. All in all very disappointing.

La chambre est bien mais petite et mal isolée phonétiquement, la clim est à peine perceptible. Pas de petit frigo, pas de volet, la chambre dispose seulement d'un rideau. Il y a 6 places de garage mais à réserver à l'avance sinon places de parking en zone bleue...

There was quite a lot to see in Abbeville within easy walking distance of the hotel: river, canal, two interesting churches, one with stunning modern windows, the other with wonderful flamboyant Gothic exterior. a lovely free garden 100 metres away. Close by using car were a memorable bird reserve and an interesting Abbey and gardens. Good sized wardrobe, and we had an excellent dinner.
