Odyssee Resort and Thalasso

We stayed at the hotel with a group of people with disabilities from Germany. We really appreciated the kindness and warmth shown at the hotel. Everyone was very respectful, friendly, and always tried to make everything possible. Our biggest thanks go to the animation team. We would love to come back next year and hope to see them all again.

First time in this hotel i and my wife like it so much , good rooms, good shows, The animators are so kind and funny and always take care of us and we want to come back again in the future

I really like the animators and the nice show at night and very nice activities like voleyball and archery and dancing they do a very nice work

Cool 4-star hotel in Moorish style. Good food, lots of animation, perfect place to relax. The hotel is dominated by tourists from France, Germany and Poland. There are a lot of algae on the beach, but they cleaned regularly. Rooms are cleaned daily. I recommend the hotel!

I recently stayed at this hotel during my vacation and unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. While the location and general facilities were acceptable, the behavior of the restaurant staff significantly impacted my overall impression. The waiters were consistently impolite and inattentive. On several occasions, we were ignored, had to wait a long time for service, and were met with dismissive or unfriendly attitudes. Basic courtesy seemed to be lacking, and it felt like guests were an inconvenience rather than a priority. A vacation should be a time to relax and feel welcomed, but the lack of professionalism from the restaurant staff made our stay uncomfortable. I sincerely hope the hotel management takes feedback like this seriously and provides proper training to ensure a better guest experience in the future.

I visited Tunisia, Djerba for the first time and I was very pleased. My family and I were on vacation from 24.06 to 01.07. Hotel Odyssee turned out to be a great choice for our vacation and we would come back again next year. We had a great time - the rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was varied and very tasty, the staff was professional, and I'm speechless about the animators. Special thanks to the entire animation team - Zizou, Nino, Rio, Mustik, Mimi and all the others I didn't list! Thank you for your energy, mood, smiles! You are great! ❤️ I work in a travel agency and would be happy to recommend the hotel to my clients. It is true that from June-July there are already a lot of tourists and the places on the beach and around the pool are filling up, but it's not impossible to find a place. We had no problem. There are signs that say that leaving a towel is not a reservation and guests must be responsible - if you are not going to return to the beach within an hour, you can take your towel. I read comments about camels on the beach and that there was a scam - each person can choose whether to accept a given service or not. No one is obligated to anything. The hotel is not responsible for camels on the beach. 🙂 Regarding tips - I haven't noticed anyone demanding that you give them a tip. This is optional, and is already accepted in many tourist destinations, even European ones (like Portugal and others). I saw comments on this occasion and that's why I'm giving my opinion. Be careful! Fraud and cheating is possible in this hotel. But only, pure all- inclusive is ok. The see is hot. Food and drinks not bed.

Sehr gute Service

Lovely hotel , room was clean I just wish we had separate rooms from the kids. Staff at the hotel were super friendly and great with the kids. Beach was really nice and the sea was so warm and clear. We really enjoyed this holiday as a family of 4 and it was our first time in Tunisia and we were impressed. We would come back to this hotel however we like to try different areas but I won’t say never to coming back as we did enjoy our time here. Food was ok but I think with most all inclusive it can get a little monotonous after a week however there was an amazing cafe just outside the hotel that served amazing food and shakes so I’d recommend there if you wanted to break it up a little.

Stayed for two very relaxing days. A lot of options for fun

Wasted vacation, health and money. The staff ignores the problem of bedbugs in hotel rooms (an old nest of bedbugs in the hotel bed). After our requests to change rooms we were given another four numbers next door on the same floor! New bites appeared every day until the end of the "holidays"… On the beach I looked like I had advanced chickenpox. The stay at this hotel was a nightmare. Very rude staff at the reception. They used to sent me back to my room without providing the things I asked for: a steamer, bedbug spray, plastic bags. On the last day, I managed to request our clothes to be washed, but I was still afraid of bringing bed bugs home and had to have my luggage professionally disinfected immediately after returning from the airport. A holiday from a nightmare. Oh. And on the last day I heard from the man at the reception: ‘yes, yes, go home, no holidays for you, go back to work and collect money’. They barely speak English. Absolutely the worst hotel experience ever, and I travel several times a year. This is my first negative review ever.

The hotel, located in a nice garden, by the beach, could be attractive if it were not for the quality of the rooms offered. The rooms are rather slums: battered walls, stained floors, mirrors in the wardrobes with black stains, all tarnished, lighting on hanging wires, and the bathroom is more like a basement room with battered and cracked tiles.

Amazing Hotel, very clean and beautiful. The food is delicious and there is a lot of choice, with local food even. The biggest plus : The animation team was extremely good. They made our stay unforgettable. Especially Simon - he was always helpful and felt like a brother during our stay. He checked on us to see if we need something and all activities with him were super fun! Also Nermine was exceptionally lovely! Simon, Nermine, Mimi, Tisa and Zizou became true friends. We will be coming back in October 2024 for sure as we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

It was my second time visiting this beautiful hotel. I highly recommend it.😌 Beautiful gardens, quite big pool and wide and sandy beach. This place is really pleasant and magical. All of these palm trees and other plants are amazing there.🌴 There was a large variety of food. Delicious desserts, ice cream, and fruits. Tasty drinks, and the best beer!🍻 This hotel has a really experienced, kind and helpful staff (especially at the Ulysses bar from 9 am to 4 pm, these guys are doing a great job, really).❤️ Thank you, Odyssee Resort for having me. As I said, it was my 2nd time, and for sure not the last. Big thank you.😊

Séjour agréable. Le personnel est très serviable et à l’écoute et l’hôtel dispose un centre de thalassothérapie avec de très belles prestations qui sont au top.

Personnel chaleureux, hôtel agréable, nourriture très bonne (aussi difficile soit-on on trouve toujours de quoi se régaler le palais). Equipe d'animation discrète (je préfère). Le top du top à Zarzis et, pour ce que je connais de Djerba, il talonne les meilleurs de l'île aussi. J'y retournerai, malgré le prix un peu plus élevé que les autres du coin, mais il vaut vraiment la peine.

Super propre et tres bien entretenu . Personnel agreable . Une decoration bien pensee , un buffet tres varie et de qualite .Un hotel tres bien equipe. Seul bemol des travaux sous la chambre toute la journée a partir de 9h du matin.

Great views, great atmosphere

Bei Ankuft wurde ich nicht so freundlich von dem Rezeptionist empfangen. Auch im Restaurant wurde ich von dem Kellner unfreundlich angesprochen, dass ich in einen anderen Tisch umgezogen bin. Das Personal sind nur gegenüber Europäer oder Amerikaner freundlich.

Un magnifique cadre berbère au bord de la mer, restauration de qualité avec un personnel chaleureux et aux petits soins dans une ville qui a su conserver son charme. Belle expérience.

Point très positif : les animateurs de l'hôtel et la nourriture excellente

Arrivée dans une chambre sans électricité, impossible de trouver le numéro de la réception dans la chambre, je tente alors de faire des numéros au hasard mais le téléphone est également défectueux car le correspondant n'arrive pas a m'entendre. Une fois l'électricité rétablie, déjeuner dans un restaurant ou un serveur nous demande sur un ton pas très professionnel de mettre un T-Shirt pour déjeuner et quelques minutes plus tard un groupe de personnes s'installe au même resto sans qu'on leur fasse de réflexion bref c'est à la tête du client apparemment sinon déjeuner dégueulasse et le termes est faible (spaghetti fruit de mer que je ne donnerais même pas a mon chien). N’étant de passage que pour une nuit, je ne bénéficiais pas du All inclusive. Cependant si je voulais consommer des boissons je devais me rendre obligatoirement dans un bar à l'intérieur de l’hôtel ou l'accès est interdit quand on est mouillé contrairement au bar all inclusive bref si tu as soif prévois le temps de te sécher pour pouvoir commandé c'est complètement ridicule. De retour dans la chambre le téléviseur ne fonctionne pas (et on recommence la même galère pour appeler la réception pour au final avoir un remplacement du téléviseur au bout d'une bonne heure). Animateurs fantômes, le seul personnel agréable, à l'écoute et qui à tout fait pour rendre ce calvaire plus agréable, est un employé de la réception prénommé Ali (Bravo à lui pour son professionnalisme)
