El hotel es muy viejo al igual que sus habitaciones

No funcionaba el baño tenias que meter la mano y estirar el flotador

Muy buena atención del personal, los empleados son amables, dan buena impresión y son la calidád mas destacable de este hotel.

La habitación no contaba con sillas ni mesa de recibidor lo cual es común en hoteles de mucho menos valor, el colchón de las camas en muy mal estado no sirven, una habitación de un hotel 3 estrellas en general. Colillas de cigarro dentro de la instalación a pesar de que hacen que firmes un documento de que no se permite fumar. Demasiadas colillas en su parte exclusiva de palapas, no me incluyeron el desayuno como decia en la publicación de booking, la comida del buffet del hotel es excesivamente costosa a pesar de ser común y nada excepcional, el ascensor de huéspedes se ve que no le han dado mantenimiento y tiene mas de 40 años. Había una persona fumando en el área exclusiva de albercas del hotel casi a un lado de un personal de seguridad del hotel y no le decia nada al respecto. Solo dan 2 botellas de agua de 250ml por dia en la habitación, lleven su propia agua.

La playa y las albercas, tiene una gran extensión de arena, las albercas tienen una temperatura bastante aceptable Desde mi punto de vista solo la variedad en los menús del restaurante son bastante limitados en cualquier comida del día

La diversidad en alimentos, guarniciones y postres Solo me toco unos cuatro guisados, poca variedad en postres y guarniciones para frutas igual de escasas

NADA... realmente las albercas estan en muy mala calidad el piso todo despegado, corta en los pies, el precio del restaurante es carisimo y todo el hotel esta en malas condiciones deteriorado antiguo y en malas condiciones el personal es pesimo se creen dueños y no te dejan meter nada del exterior No le jalan los climas esta pesimo

El hotel se quedó viejo, las instalaciones requieren mucho mantenimiento y remodelacion , el aire acondicionado tipo central mucho ruido y casi no da aire frío, baño sucio la alberca con veneciano ya caido da mala imagen de viejo y sin mantenimiento, mala atencion en recepcion

Me gusto mucho la ubicación general del hotel, las instalaciones en cuestión de las áreas comunes, como las albercas y las palapitas en la playa, la atención de todo el personal fue muy bueno. Contratamos solamente el desayuno y en general esta bien, lo típico de huevo, chilaquiles, fruta, etc.

No me agrado mucho las instalaciones de la habitación y de los pasillos, tienen todo parchado con diferentes pisos todo el pasillo y eso no se ve nada padre, a la habitación si la falta un mejor colchón, almohadas y en si una manita de gato en general, tambien se llegaba a percibir un olor a humedad.

Las instalaciones estan muy deterioradas ya. Por el.costo no lo vale. Muy poca variedad de comida, recepción no responden nunca el teléfono cuándo llamas de la habitación. Y no tienen actitud de servicio al cliente .

La ha utacion tenía deficiencias: no prendían las lamparaa, la regadera no tenía llave la tina lo que dificultaba usarla. Las toallas ya estaban muy desgastadas, el colchón de la cama también estaba ya con deformación

Lugar comodo para estar con niños. La alberca tiene el agua 💧 excelente para.los niños.

no compre todo incluido y no me dejaron meter mis propios alimentos a ningun area del hotel que no fuera la habitacion. ALgunos no podemos comprar Alimentos a tan alto precio el bufete por persona costaba 509 pesos por solo 1 comida. entonces decidimos comprar nuestros alimentos, pero no nos permitieron consumierlos en ningun area del hotel. Creo que no molestamos a nadie usando la terraza o alberca, pero dejamos de usar las instalaciones para poder consumir nuestros alimentos. En el area de la alberca templada, no hay baños cerca. malisimo

El punto más fuerte de Maeva es, sin duda, su gente. Quiero agradecer de manera especial al chef Arturo por la gran variedad de platillos y a su equipo (Dixie y otras personas). Tengo alergia a la carne de puerco y a sus derivados, pero tanto el chef como todo su equipo siempre me dieron recomendaciones claras; aun con mis limitaciones, comí muy bien y muy rico. También agradezco al chico de recepción, Esteban, por su buena actitud, y a la señora Claudia, responsable de la limpieza en las áreas de alberca, por estar siempre atenta a las necesidades de los huéspedes y por su linda sonrisa. Por último, aunque no recuerdo su nombre, quiero mencionar al chico de las bebidas que trabaja por las noches: usa lentes y es un verdadero artista.

1. En mi opinión, en el área exclusiva para adultos la música debería ser más relajante, ambiental, chill y con un volumen bajo. Esperaba algo distinto a “Vamos a la playa”, que estuvo sonando todo el día. Lamentablemente, casi no hubo diferencia entre el estilo de música de las áreas con albercas para niños y el del área exclusiva para adultos. 2. Es muy caro.

Las horas de aseo de las habitaciones, estuve todo el día en la playa desde las 8 am hasta las 4 pm y justo cuando íbamos llegando a la habitación estaba sin asear, llamamos al servicio y nos dijeron que nos teníamos que salir de la habitación para asearla porque a las 4:30 pm es la hora de salida del personal, después de estar todo el día fuera y queríamos descansar un rato en la habitación resulta que no solo no hicieron el aseo cuando no estábamos sino que no podíamos descansar porque debíamos salirnos para que hicieran la limpieza. Eso si genero molestia.

La atención y disponibilidad del personal, excelente! Su cordialdad y amabilidad.

- El bufete: comida y cena, no varía, esperaba siendo Costa incluyeran variedad de mariscos; mejor el área de especialidades. En la cena al exterior, la carne asada muy dura. - La habitación muy austera y falta mucha luz. - El show muy bonito, pero falta actualizarlo, no ha cambiado en años. - En check out, el personal de limpieza reportó a recepcion faltaba toalla de manos y no tuvimos. Nuestro error fue no reportarlo.

El personal NO TIENE ACTITUD DE SERVICIO AL CLIENTE, todo era NO, ademas en la habitación se escuchaba todo el día cuando se prendía un hidroneumático muy ruidoso, las señoritas de la recepción muy groseras y en nuestra salida como el vuelo salía tarde no querían guardarnos las maletas en lo que íbamos a comer, muy decepcionante en relación al costo de la habitación y al mal servicio, no volvería nunca a ir

Good location

Facilities are outdated, feels like nothing apart TVs have been changed since opening. Not a great value for money. But the thing that disappointed me the most was the staff. Not the customer service one should the expect in 2025. While checking out I asked if I could stay in the pool area for a few more hours I was told ‘no, give me your hand I will cut the bracelet’. First time I experienced that but I can accept if that is the hotel’s policy. No problems. The more surprising thing in a negative way was the front desk employee asking me where is the TV remote is. When I told it was left in the room she got visibly frustrated and started calling housekeeping telling me to wait. Like what would I do with a stolen TV remote???

The only good thing is located next to the beach.

I was very disappointed to find that several of the amenities advertised on your website were not available, including, "Wi-Fi, Tv cable, a chair to sit, trash can, ironing board, iron, hair dryer, telephone cable broken and need to pay extra for a key to the safe box. We stay for 3 nights and the elevator it was out of service during my stay and l didn't receive no help. The front desk staff were so rude when l asked them if it was possible to cancel my reservation after l found out all these amenities were not available, but they said it wasn't possible. I chose this hotel specifically for these features, and their absence significantly impacted my stay because I was planning to work from my room while my family have fun in the beach. I brought this to the attention to the staff, but received no help.

I loved this location closely to the beach but I did not like conditions of the building, such as walls unpainted and old furniture.

The location

Being put in a bare room, no chairs, nothing but a bed. A room with a beautiful balcony, which was also bare, no chairs, no little table, just empty. I know, I booked using the Internet and this seemed to be frowned upon by the reception staff - therefore this room, I guess.

The AC did not function in the room they had a secured parking lot and I got keyed scratch on my truck our stay was very bad was overpriced the rooms are no fantastic

PROS: We only stayed for the night and booked this stay VERY last minute, but the location in Playa Miramar can't be beat. Check-in was a breeze, the check in area is beautiful and updated, and the check-in staff was very friendly, even though we only speak Spanglish. Yes, you get actual metal keys, handed the TV remote, and towel cards at check-in, but I knew this from reading the reviews so we were prepared. We were directed to park our personal car at an open parking spot by the attendant who was also very friendly. We had a room on the 2nd floor (3rd floor really, since the check-in floor was considered floor 0). The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the room was clean. The shower was clean and had hot water. We thought breakfast was delicious and varied. We paid about $30 US for breakfast since we didn't purchase the all-inclusive package. We thought this was an OK price since it was all you can eat and the service was friendly and exceptional. We wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the beach but it was a rainy day when we woke up in the morning.

CONS: Rooms really need a modern technological update. We have to move the beds to the opposite side of the room in order to plug our CPAP machines in because the wall where the beds were situated didn't have outlets. Luckily the beds were movable. This is really our only complaint.

Location, I called the hotel to see if they would accept a little chihuahua, they said yes for a small fee , they did not say how much then after arrival they changed the accommodation to a old , smelly and not in shape villa they calll it, dirty water and charged over 60% additional for changing the room. The way I was treated by the front desk staff. Looked down on me like I had no money to pay. I've stayed in more expensive hotels than here. My brown a$$ got money to pay for your fake smiles. They had me waiting for an hour to get my room key. They had the audacity to tell me the price for everything I asked, looking at me like I couldn't afford it. Just bring me what I want and charge me. I do NOT recommend this hotel and will NEVER be staying here again!

The beach is far from the hotel, they have palapas by the beach but the chairs were very uncomfortable. One of the days we stayed there the showers by the beach weren’t working. And there is no ramp access to the beach.

first room smelled bad, then I received an upgrade but it took 1.5 hours to get bell boy taking me to new room. Front desk was really busy but still need to work on client’s service, since guys there lack of service skills (some of them).

I stay at the hotel 2 nights and then I have to reach another better option. I mean, my kids was looking to have fun at the pools but with special preference for the jacuzzi. The 2 jacuzzi's that the hotel have, are out of service both. The 3 pools completely dirty. It was not a good experience for me and for my family.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I feel like I have been trapped in 1992, no wifi, only at the lobby but has poor reception. FOOD IT'S TERRIBLE. The only good things are the pina coladas, so I'm basically surviving on pinas coladas. The bed smelled like someone peed on it. I call reception to let them know about the situation. they said they would send someone to check it out, I waited for over an hour and no one came. Keys to the room are literally lock keys like in 1992. Everything it's just antiquated, I'm a frequent traveler and I'm use to hotels, but this is by far one of the worst. I work from my computer, so I basically require wifi. and I can't get it anywhere in here. During the night the noise from outside the room didn't allow us to sleep until 3:00 am when I had to call front desk to let them know about the noise, they said it was because a graduation party, but tht's not acceptable, it was really late and couldn'r sleep well. I believe the administration needs to invest on remodeling the hotel and apply the new technology avaiable for the hotel industry, everything just looks OLD and I'm very dissapointed on this resort. Even thought my family are members of the "timeshare" I won't be returning back to this time capsule trapped hotel.

Located in an oil refinery area of Mexico, the resort has pools and a beach and tennis courts. We were there off-season, it seems, and got to use a pool on the last day only. Local attractions include city of Tampico, a good park with an envionmental museum, a local culture/history museum, and a pier with over 150 raccoons making their home in the rocks on either side. Off season meant not much going on at the resort. An all-inclusive resort meant our partial kitchen had nothing in it but a sink.

Areas are clean, pools are nice, there is security around the resort. There's a good variety of food at the buffets however I didn't think the food was very good. There is an overhead walkway next a different pool that also has beach access, which is nice, but please note there are no elevators so anyone with handicap accessibility needs will need help getting through all the stairs.

We stayed just for one day here, and the experience was not what we expected. At the lobby we had a great impression of the place, but the rest of it looks old. Food in the buffets tastes good, buy I expected more options specially at lunch time. The swimming pool areas have a lot of space around, but there are few chairs and campers.

This hotel is very good. I dont have problem with nothing. The instalations are very good. The restaurant its normal, but good. The beach club have 2 good pool. They dont have service in the pools, only in the bar near the pools. But when i stay there it was very good.

I love the beach, totally kid friendly and the pools here have been remodeled and it's a great spot to spend time with the family. Staff is really friendly and food is awesome. This time of year the weather is not awfully hot but still sunny and warm.
