Super 8 by Wyndham Fort Nelson BC

Excellent value for money Clean and comfortable Pool and hot tub was nice

Location and pool

Nothing!

That shampoo and conditioner lasted all day long smelled soooo nice!

I couldn’t stay longer

Staff was wonderful. Rooms where clean and comfortable. Breakfast was decent. Kids enjoyed the pool. Lots of grass area to walk your pets when they need the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay.

Clean. Easy to access from the highway

The room was big enough for 5 of us.

Kitchen sink water leaking

Conveniently right by the main thoroughfare, but quiet.

The pool was great! Love the outside access from our room and was clean and comfortable

only thing that was not great was the quality of the breakfast food was not great, potatoes were super dry n flavourless, eggs were kinda rubbery, and there should have been bacon and non dairy creamer available too.

Location and breakfast.

The rooms are run-down as is the parking lot and hotel entrance areas. The entrance had a yellow plastic box to the side of it, serving no purpose, and there were other junk like items visible that took away from the hotel appearance. It would benefit from a daily maintenance person to keep the grounds and entrance free of debris and looking maintained.

It is what you expect in Fort Nelson. It was nothing special.

Fairly run down. The pool was not open.

Friendly staff. Great breakfast rooms were clean and a decent size kids enjoy the pool

Nothing

Option to Park outside your door

It ended up being $200

Staff very friendly and helpful. Shower had good pressure.

The beds were on the hard side but not bad.

Close to highway and plenty of parking.

It was not clean

Great breakfast cleaning for quiet rooms. Friendly staff. My kids love the pool which is the main reason we stay but the hotel itself is always clean, quiet and super friendly

Great staff great place

Location and beds

Air conditioner loud and bath tub drain gross

It was clean, easy to find and a good price. Staff were very accommodating

The pillows were to stiff

It was at a good location and it has a swimming pool!

That it was not very clean and the it could use some updating, like at least new carpet! The pool area was the cleanest either and the slide steps definitely were grimy .

Love this hotel. The staff is pleasant and meets my needs every time I stay there. Rooms are clean and not over priced.

Great pool and water slide. Great breakfast

Staff specially , we meet her ,when our check in time, it was after midnight “night “ worker I forgot her name, front desk,WoW 😀Happy to help she has a lot experience,She is welcoming 😀my family was happy to see after long drives. thank you all to say Super8

Non

I always stay at the Super 8. They accept my Labrador to stay with me.

Spaciousness, clean, functional, nice location!

Right along the highway

Had to pay extra for ground level

Great

The staff was outstanding and very helpful, especially the woman at the front desk at night. She helped me connect to the wifi and shared some local information. She was very kind. The hotel was nice and clean.

Hot tub was plenty hot and pool great.

A very nice property. Nice to have such a clean and comfortable stay after a long drive on the Alcan. Close to lots of eating establishments.

Good location

Over priced. Extra charge to be on the ground floor

Clean facility in a good location

The breakfast was not good; eggs were cold and rubbery, sausage was bland and they were out of yogurt, milk, hard boiled eggs and muffins

Old inside

Breakfast was a pleasant surprise! Lots of options and even healthy ones.

It took forever to check in.

The lobby looks very worn, the free breakfast wasn’t that great. Lots of miss match furniture and the hallways stunk and looked old

I think the dusty dirty parking area could really be improved with some landscaping. Just planting a few groves of white birches would really clean up the front of the building so its nit so desolate looking.

Cookies!

Surprisingly good stay. Breakfast was good, beds were comfortable, and room was quiet

Nice

Have not been here long enough to view enough to form a comprehensive opinion but what I have experienced so far has been positive and I have no complaints.

Staff went above and beyond to help me when the laundry machine was not working. Really appreciated the kindness of both the evening and morning front desk staff.

Comfortable room but a disappointing breakfast. Eggs were those prepackaged, Luke warm cheese omelettes and the ham looked like they took a package of no-name sliced sandwich ham and heated it in a chafing dish. The only good thing is there are decent breakfasts available in Fort Nelson which are closeby

Super convenient for our travels

Super convenient for our travels

The room needs renovation

Nice breakfast and pool

Typical super 8. Very clean and convenient hotel. Has a pool and hot tub but hot tub went down the day we arrived. Usually sleep great at super 8 but the beds were very hard which is unusual. I’d stay again though.

Bed was comfy

Prima grote kamer met bankstel. Kingsize bed. Uitstekende badkamer met bad. Heel goed uitgebreid ontbijt. Bijzonder aardig personeel

Niets

The room was clean and had the refrigerator that we needed!

Nothing!

Clean

Late check in and the reservation was wrong by the third party. Night staff was very accommodating and fixed it for us!! This is a must stay if your traveling the Alcan highway to or from!!!

Decent room, outdated but clean

Staff could have been friendlier

Had a great stay with my family probably one of the best hotels I stayed in for awhile the pool is a huge plus for my family and Boston pizza is next door

The bed was comfortable and the room was large. There was a 10% discount at Boston Pizza across the parking lot.

Our room was very smelly. The staff had obviously tried to cover up a smoker’s presence with Fabreeze, the combination being nauseous. The room was large and the bed comfortable, but definitely showing wear and tear. The halls and entrance areas were not inviting.

we arrived late from a long drive but we were still accomodated with ease, the reception lady was really accomodating and really nice customer service. The breakfast was great, i was able to make my own waffles! 😉

Room is too hot, air conditioning is not cool enough and has a timer on and off. Breakfast is not that great. Its only 7:30am when we went for breakfast but its already empty. Nobody refills it.

Good

Good

The pool & hot tub were great. Room was a good size & clean. Staff was friendly.

No complaints!
