Very nice and enjoyable
Las Brisas is truly an unforgettable resort experience. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed into a beautiful property that feels like its own private paradise. The beaches are absolutely pristine, with soft sand and crystal clear water that makes relaxing by the ocean an absolute dream. The pools are just as inviting always clean, well maintained, and offering the perfect spot to either lounge under the sun or take a refreshing swim. The food exceeded expectations, with plenty of delicious options to choose from, and the best part is that it never feels repetitive. Every meal feels fresh and carefully prepared, showcasing both local flavors and international favorites. The unlimited drinks are just the cherry on top always served quickly and generously, whether you’re by the pool, at dinner, or relaxing at the bar. What really makes the experience stand out, though, is the service. The staff at Las Brisas go above and beyond to make you feel cared for. They’re attentive, professional, and genuinely kind, always ready to help with anything you need while making sure you feel at home. It’s this level of service that elevates the resort from being simply beautiful to being truly exceptional. Overall, Las Brisas is the kind of resort you want to return to again and again. It combines natural beauty, comfort, and outstanding hospitality in a way that makes your stay both relaxing and memorable. If you’re considering a trip to Oaxaca, I highly recommend it.
Great service all areas. Very clean
The location of the hotel is amazing! The view from our room was beautiful. The food was excellent and the customer service was great!
Very beautiful and safe
Beautiful place
My family of 7 had an amazing time. We loved having everything included. All the food and beverages were really good. The views and beaches were very beautiful. The transportation to get us around the resort were very useful as well.
Everything was good
Beaches are beautiful. Great service!!
Beautiful property, great staff and service specially the bartenders and servers. It was very busy at the pools, my only concern was that the adult pool was supposed to be for adults only and they had many kids in the pool and no one from the hotel staff came to address during our stay. Guests don’t respect the rules and no one addressed it. In result we couldn’t use the pool. Enjoyed our stay!
I liked the beach, the view!
This resort was beautiful, not walkable but transportation is on point! Food was okay, the activities are also fun. I would probably come back in the future.
Beach are beautiful
Room was nice and quiet. The food was good. We attended one show and it was amazing. Many activities at the pool. I would definitely stay there again
Property is excellent walkable if you like, but you could use internal transportation. Bellavista, main restaurant, could be better.
Great location with 4 beaches and plenty of activities to do throughout the day and night.
Great
We love this all-inclusive hotel. It was great for our family. We truly enjoyed the variety of pools accessible for children of all ages, including our toddler, and the access to beautiful beaches. We appreciate it that there was also a variety of places to eat within the complex. The only thing that I will say, is that during peak days it gets really busy and there are longer wait times for transportation and at the Restaurant. People should plan accordingly. We ensure to be at the buffet right at 9 AM or slightly before, so we wouldn’t have to wait for breakfast. And for transportation, while it is extremely efficient, during the weekend when there are more people at the hotel. It’s more crowded and you have to wait a few more minutes to get transportation from your room to the lobby or the pool or wherever within the complex. Overall, we highly recommend Las Brisas
Amazing staff. I do wish the AC unit was colder in the room.
Las Brisas Huatulco is the perfect place for an unforgettable vacation. There are activities for the family all day long, from hitting the gym in the morning, having breakfast in front of the beach, taking the kids to the “kids club” for a day of fun, to relaxing at the pool, getting your favorite drink and enjoying the night entertainment. This hotel has it all! I wish I could live here.
Property is big and beautiful. Beaches and pool area are clean and spacious. The staff are great. Can’t stress how great the staff were. Only 4 stars (Could even be 3 1/2) due to the food being underwhelming. Not a lot of variety and a lot of it overcooked, dry or tough
The service was great, very friendly staff. You move around the resort in golf type carts that you have to wait for, but the wait time was never excessive. The beach here is great for swimming!
Love the location
Excellent hotel!
Starting with the Pros, the property offers stunning views of the pacific, the night show is great considering there are only 7 dancers they execute wonderful
Amazing! Family vacation! Loved the accessible beaches, spa, gym and the VIP perks was granted via Expedia! Would stay again! Parking was free and the staff so friendly and helpful!
The resort and grounds are absolutely beautiful. The rooms sit on hills and they have done a phenomenal job keeping the vegetation intact in contrast to most all other resorts. There's at least three beaches you can accesss. This is truly a special resort!
It was amazing! The staff were so friendly! The property was amazing! The beach was amazing! The food was amazing! The whole vacation was amazing! I will say there’s a lot of walking involved but I love that ! There is shuttle buses that will take you to where you want to go at a moment’s notice
I like all the gardens and greenery surrounding the property but I didn’t like having to depend on golf car transportation to our room and back to lobby and restaurants due to how big the hotel is all the rooms are far from pools, beach and restaurants
The views are breathtaking
Our stay at Las Brisas Huatulco was a huge letdown. While the views and grounds are naturally beautiful, everything else about the experience was frustrating and disappointing. The most shocking issue: the roof in our room was leaking during rain—water actually dripped onto the floor and our belongings. When we reported it, there was little urgency or concern from staff, and no offer to move us to a dry room. On top of that, we were told we couldn’t eat at the buffet unless we were completely dry. We also went to our first dinner in the same buffet, and no one had advised of the dress code for the men, a red shirt was provided during our 30 min dinner. The rooms are severely outdated, the air conditioning barely works, and the bathrooms are dark and uncomfortable. Furniture was old, some pieces broken, and the overall feeling was more like a neglected motel than a resort. We had a lizard in our room and it stayed there our whole stay. The cart took forever to pick us up, and we had to call multiple times to remind them to pick us up. Food throughout the resort was subpar at best—bland, cold, and often repetitive. Service at the pools was disorganized with no food menus and very weak drinks. We really wanted to love this place, but there were too many issues, and the lack of proper maintenance and hospitality ruined what should have been a relaxing vacation. We won’t be returning and would not recommend Las Brisas to anyone
My husband and I recently were very pleased with our recent stay at Las Brisas. The service is amazing, food options are great, and overall stay was at a high level!
We had a fabulous vacation at this resort. The beaches are beautiful. The resort is older but very well cared for and the rooms are clean. The landscape is lush! Highly recommend the spa. We did not like breakfast buffet at Mexican restaurant, but indoor buffet was fresh and delicious. Moroccan restaurant and the Grill were our favorite meals. The staff at the hotel are 5 star! They are always smiling and ready to serve you. Please remember to tip these wonderful hard workers. A little goes a long way down there. Huatulco is nothing like Cabo or Yucatan. I hope it stays this way.
While I wish I could say we enjoyed our stay at Las Brisas, the experience fell short of expectations. The two positives worth mentioning are the stunning view and the exceptional staff—everyone was wonderful except for the maintenance technician. Unfortunately, there were several significant issues that significantly impacted our stay and made it less than enjoyable, and for that reason, we cannot recommend this property and will not be returning. The rooms and resort are extremely outdated. In our first room, the air conditioning barely worked, and most of the bedroom furniture was broken or in poor condition. The restrooms were dark and uninviting. I felt uncomfortable enough that I left the light on overnight in case we needed to use it during the night. The food was underwhelming. Whether at the buffet or the sit-down reservation restaurants, the quality was consistently poor—though we did come across a decent dish or two here and there. Poolside service was lacking. There was no menu available to order food, and the drinks were mediocre at best.
Easy don’t go stay here !! Let’s start with the food it was very bland no seasoning. I wished they would have had more food that showed the Oaxaca culture ! The rooms were old need to be renovated asap there were bugs everywhere had to check my sets before going to bed ! Not a fan of the golf carts to get around the resort made us wait 15 min at some time ! The workers were very nice I will say helpful people and very friendly. But the hotel it’s self I will not be going back . I will say this resort has a lot of things they need to work on
We enjoyed our stay as a family. Favorite part was the beach and views. Staff was very friendly and enjoyed our service. Room was clean we had a small water leak inside the room but was minimal. It rained buckets during the night so I am guessig it was from the room above patio. We would go back to this resort for sure. Thing to improve maybe more food options. Overall good
Me encanta por Que es muy tranquilo donde toda la familia disfruta al Maximo y por Que no ay musica fierce en las noches
Loved snorkeling right off the beach. Food was fantastic!
The staff were all so very kind and attentive. They made the stay even more welcoming.
Excellent service
All inclusive with nice beaches. Two issues to consider: getting across the hotel usually requires a trolley pick-up throughout. The trolleys are always full and waiting times can be up to 15 minutes. Second, all inclusive is anything you want, well not her. Dinners were often uncomfortable when ordering was limited ( e.g. only allowed to order one appetizer). This place, while nice, it not for me.
I did have a excellent stay , weather beach food drinks the staff all the workers were great nice people very friendly people made my vacation enjoyable…..
My fiancé and I stayed for a weekend getaway and had a mixed experience. A five-star hotel this is not; it is a decent 3-star budget resort. Our main travel goals are relaxation and great food. The pools did not look like the photos and were filled with people as they are very small. The ocean was dirty due to the rain, but the staff did a great job keeping the property clean. There is no food service at the beach and limited drink service. There wasn’t much to do from there. The gym looked nice and i actually had fun getting toted around in the carts. Food was average- not bad, not great. The buffet is small and there was only one restaurant available for dinner for our two-night stay. That’s a policy- no restaurant experience for one night stay, 1 restaurant meal for a two night stay, etc. That’s become standard across budget resorts, which is disappointing. Room service is not included. On the plus side, we recommend El Mexicano for breakfast buffet- the omelette station also includes hand-made tortillas and tacos.
Didn’t like the resort. There wasn't good entertainment and some staff members were rude. The resort is humongous and it’s not walkable anywhere. You have to ride in carts to go everywhere. The food wasn’t great in every restaurant and the variety was extremely limited. I regret not booking elsewhere.
Vegetarian food was on point. The Chef's catered to our lacto vegetarian diet. The shuttle drivers were eager to always help. Everyone seemed happy. We loved our time!
We had a great time and would love to return! We played pickleball every day (for three weeks) and loved snorkelling at the hotel beach. Breakfast at the Mexican Restaurant was fabulous with made to order omelettes made daily, scenic ocean views, and an incredible spread of food to satisfy every appetite. The food was very good at every restaurant (for an all inclusive) - we wished the main buffet restaurant offered some outdoor seating as we would have greatly enjoyed that. Our room was a bit dark and dingy and could definitely use renovations but our bed was comfy and the shower was hot with great water pressure - we only went to the room to sleep so we don’t put much emphasis on it, but if it’s important to you, it might disappoint. Service was great - we love Huatulco!
We really enjoyed our stay at Las Brisas. We stayed in the Mar section. We had asked for a king suite and a two queen suite side by side on the top floor, and they gave us our exact request. The rooms were large with nice patios and a beautiful view of the ocean which was great for watching the sunrise. We upgraded and had access to the Las Brisas beach club, which I highly recommend. The ladies that served us in the beach club were so lovely! This resort was really beautiful, with lots of amenities.
Just returned from a short 7 day stay and loved the service and the beauty of the area. The beach area is beautiful and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the room was large and clean. The staff were helpful and very friendly and kind. Unfortunately we were not aware it is almost completely unwalkable. The shuttle service was wonderful and we were picked up quickly with just a call from our rooms or a mention to staff. The food was poor. The buffet catered to the Mexican cuisine and very little else. We only were able to access 3 restaurants while there and we only ate half of our meals as they were very bland. Extremely disappointing as resort life is a lot about the food! I will not be returning but it is a budget friendly, beautiful spot.
As much as I don't want to post a good review, as I would like to not have more tourists come to this location. Had the chance to go off season and experience true Mexican culture without the flood of ignorant north american tourists(US). And what an amazing experience and culture, truly wonderful. Resort and staff were always hospitable and respectful to the English speakers. Hot. It was hot and day time activities need to be properly planned due to the heat.
The room was spacious, very clean and with a great ocean view. All personnel was very helpful, attentive and always with a smile. Transportation to different areas of the resort was easy and fast. We never had to wait more than 5 min. The only thing that we didn't like was the dinner service at El Mexicano and Solarium restaurants. There were enough waiters, but they were extremely slow, disorganized and inefficient, forgot to bring the food, drinks, and our requests. We had to remind them many times. They need better training. We found the opposite at the Kasbah, Bellavista (buffet) and Pergola restaurants. The waiters there were very good, and it was a pleasure to eat there. Check in and out was a breeze. Overall experience was very good and not expensive.
.
The property is amazing. Lots to do. Multiple beautiful beaches and pools in the resort. Plenty of restaurant options that serve great food and the staff is second to none. Too much to list. Definitely coming back.
Not bad beaches for swimming and snorkeling. However, during my stay (end of April) the water was mainly murky which spoiled snorkeling. They say you have to chose the right season for good water. Hills everywhere. Although the cars going up and down constantly, it would be better to have elevators in some areas. For example: from the Lobby to the main bar (stairs only). The generic rooms are very basic and the AC isn't capable to catch up, so sleeping at night may be challenging in high temps.
Beautiful property. Great service. Housekeeping excellent. The only negative was aspect was the good. Not great.
Overall pretty good
The premier property in the area.....it's a 5-star for the price of a 3-star!! We've been coming since 2018......and we may retire in the area based on our stats at Las Brisas!!!!
Great swimmable beach in the area. Great authentic mexican food for breakfast, lunch and dinner
Pros: beds are comfortable, efficient check-in/out, clean(ish), nice beach, good service, pool/beach chair availability was fair, grounds were well kept. Cons: lacking adequate ac in rooms and common areas, size of resort in comparison to shuttle availability to get from a to b is unreasonable - not very accessible (ton of walking), food was AWFUL at both the buffet and a la carte restaurants (got sick halfway through and it lasted the remainder of the trip), no amenities/entertainment, phone in room didn’t work, gets overcrowded with locals due to day passes, few English speaking travellers, high tide (could only go in the ocean 2 days during our stay).
The area was really clean , staff very nice
It was great. Beautiful beaches, good food.
I loved how everyone was so attentive and friendly.
In general, a time at the resort Las Brisas Huatulco was enjoyable. The primary reason for this is ocean access. All surrounding resort do not has this feature., Perfect place to stay, perfectly matched with the price. Very well-maintained old resort. Food freshly prepared, dining area clean all personnel very friendly. I have only one note for drink - looks like only one espresso coffee machine exists. Expresso coffee can be ordered only in the lobby bar, and getting it mostly takes quite a long time. I did not find any specific benefit from VIP ACCESS, the same as for regular. The room is big, and every day we'll be cleaned. But no spot for hanging your wet stuff. A big note related to the room cooling system - exceptionally noisy and ineffective.
Staff at the front desk were not nice at time of booking. Long wait times for buses to transport around hotel. Very small beach area.
Everything about this place is lovable. From food, to activities, to drinks, to the hospitality, to the courteous bell boys and front desk, the massages, pretty much Everything is as we would've expected. Couple of things that we would want them to work on: 1. The hotel should have some viewpoint spots for photographers coz it has an immense potential 2. The room cleaning staff could be a little more prudent in their job as we sometimes found sections of the room not being touched All said, it was a superb experience and we'd love to be back next year... or may be earlier... who knows 😎😉
Botanic gardens are lively, but need some care.
Excellent service! Gorgeous beach and ocean perfect for swimming! Spacious and quiet room! Super comfortable bed! Beautiful grounds!
Loved the place, beaches, rooms, food and pickleball courts and had a great time even though we both got sick and so did many others that we met who were staying there.
Las Brisas is a beautiful setting with nice beaches and pools. Staff and food were outstanding. The resort is on a hill so not very walkable but they have frequent shuttles to get you around. On a whole, would highly recommend this resort.
Verygood
Great!
Lovely beach the resort had a lovely beach and was well arranged. Staff were very helpful. There was an abundant of food but the quality was average beautiful tennis courts but unfortunately not well organized. The tennis pro catered to the lowest common denominator. However I really enjoyed swimming in the ocean. Picketball was available. Overall a very relaxing few days but the food could be improved.
Paco, the tennis pro, was wonderful. He is the main reason we keep coming back.
Very hilly and sometimes tough to walk
Our check in was nice and easy and the checkout the same. I was impressed how big the room is. They could use a little update but it's ok. The transportation to take you to different places in the resort was very quick too. Overall we had a great experience. Thank you Las Brisas.
I would like recommend to everyone to visit this hotel. We really enjoyed that time. Service in each area just amazing !!!! We would like to came one or more times for vacation and spend more than 7 days. The staff is very experienced and polite!!! Very clean room and bed, food is so delicious, very clean beach, so everything is perfect !! The bottom line is that this place is Paradise !!!
It was very nice. Even when we went in a high season, the hotel did not feel crouded. I would only adjust a bit the options in the all inclusive meals food options in the restaurants. Other than that it was a very good option.
This was my first time at Las Brisas. The resort is beautiful, the ocean is warm, there are 3 bays that you can swim in without too strong of currents, the food was amazing and the staff was beyond friendly, helpful and accommodating. I absolutely will be back again
We loved the beaches and overall area.
Fantastic resort. Great service, food is great, very clean. Very spread out but easy to get around (shuttles running all the time)
Lovely resort with beautiful beaches. Good choice of restaurants and very friendly staff. A short taxi ride into town.
Friendly and excellent service throughout the resort. Good beaches, nice pool and good dining options. This older property shows her age in a few areas but is clean, comfortable and very family friendly.
Property is very clean, room very clean, quiet. Great selection of food.
First time at Las Brisas, Huatulco and it was amazing. The food, entertainment, DJ, Customer Service, bartender Roberto, drinks, and the rooms are incredibly big. The tropical birds are beautiful and wait till you swim with the fish. I will definitely return.
We were there at the property for a week and had an amazing time. The resort itself was large so be comfortable with walking or just wait one to three minutes for a shuttle to pick you up and take you where you wanna go. We had a great time and looking to return in the future.
We found our room to be dusty when we checked in. There was also some garbage left in the bathroom. Overall, the staff cleaned well each time we requested our room cleaned. The facilities themselves are dated, but do the trick. They have a great gym, and the pools are very well maintained. Obviously, the best part of this resort is the fact there are 3 beaches to choose from. All have wonderful swimming. The property is massive. There are many stairs and hills, but there are shuttles readily available. The buffet was great and had many options everyday. I thought the restaurants were just average. Town is just a 10 minute drive away and the hotel does a great job at making sure there are shutters and/or taxis avaliable. Overall I'd recommend this resort, but would probably not pay above a certain amount.
This was a large resort and probably not a great option for Those with mobility issues, although the staff were more than happy to help with anything you need and there were always carts to get around in. It was very clean and well maintained. Staff were very attentive, polite and genuine. The beaches were also great and swimmable. I would for sure return in the future.
It was very well kept. The staff were amazing.. shout out to Joel for always knowing what room I was staying in so he could drop me off when i didn't know.
Beautiful beaches, excellent staff, well organized resort. Wonderful Pickleball courts
This resort is beautiful and well layed out, with an amazing staff, lots of stairs but the shuttle service is really good. Air conditioning in the junior deluxe room could have been better! Also the toilet plumbing was in need of plunging at times, we could have done with our own plunger. A la carte restaurants and the buffet was good. Nice and close to La Crucecita and Santa Cruz for shopping and epic meals!!
Beautiful resort, very clean, kind staff, the food was great, the weather was extremely hot, the beaches and a snorkelling was amazing!
Beaches were swimmable
The property and facilities are beautiful and very well maintained. However, several of our group had issues with the toilets backing up, and one said their room had a smell. Staff were mostly fantastic and friendly. Beaches were beautiful and the staff friendly and attentive. Fantastic snorkeling on site and the pools were great. Food is very, very average. Even the al a cartes were just okay, and sometimes even worse than the buffet. Expected way better food for what we paid. Best meals we had were in the town. All in all, because of the plumbing issues and the food, we would come back to the area but probably not stay here again.
The beaches and landscapes we liked Dislike was one small pool
We liked the natural beauty of the property and the beaches. Pool was nice but limited seating. Pool and beach service were good however a swim up pool bar would have been nice. Lounge area was nice. Room was nice but anticipated better views (our room had an obstructed view of the ocean). Food was just Ok - both buffet and a la carte. Transportation into town was convenient and friendly. Overall an enjoyable vacation.
I went to Las Brisas last year and had a really good time. The on site amenities are incredible. Amazing beaches with snorkelling at the resort, an adult only pool, lots of options for dining, kayaking, and yoga classes. And of course, if you’re into tennis, you’re in the right place. It’s a pretty sleepy resort so don’t expect a party, it’s quiet by 10pm and the pools close really early. Last year I would rank my stay a 10/10 but unfortunately this year i ran into some trouble. I stayed in the ocean view suites in Mar this time. My room was dank and had a bad smell. The walls were sticky, the room was dirty, hair everywhere, the couch was stained all over and the vent in the shower was covered in thick dust. I talked to the front desk about my concerns and they weren’t very empathetic or helpful but offered me a deep clean. I ended up having to sleep with the patio doors open every night and the fan going otherwise I would wake up and the room would be dank again. They emailed me to check in how my stay was going a couple days. When I listed my issues there a couple days later a new couch and a dehumidifier turned up but I was leaving the next day. I appreciated the response, but it was too little too late. Had the girl at the front desk taken my concerns seriously they could’ve solved these problems on day one. In the end, I will definitely go back to Las Brisas because you’re not really spending much time in the rooms anyway but for the price, I expected better.
The property has access to very nice beaches and has good pool areas. The food at the resort was terrible. 10 out of 12 of our group got sick with diarrhea and/or vomiting. At the specialty restaurants the food was mediocre at best, at the buffet it was iffy.
Great family place. Food was great and water safe to drink. Swimming in both pool and ocean very good. Would definitely go back!
