Welcoming friendly hotel staff and a very comfortable room, perfect for exploring the old city. A very good breakfast and exceedingly comfortable bed was what we needed after a problematic train journey from Innsbruck. They were happy to look after our bags whilst we explored the next morning before catching our Eurostar home

Nothing to do with the hotel but Brussels could do with sorting out the longstanding roadworks in the street from the station

Je recommande vivement! Le personnel est d'une extrême gentillesse! La chambre était vraiment très bien: spacieuse, propre, avec un lit très confortable. Le buffet de petit-déjeuner très bon, avec beaucoup de choix! Rien à redire!

La stanza molto spaziosa e pulita. Zona abbastanza tranquilla e silenziosa (quando non ci sono i lavori stradali) . Presente il frigo in camera. Staff cortese, reception aperta 24/24. L'hotel si trova a circa 10 min. da Gare Midi e 10 min dal centro. A 4 min. si può trovare il primo supermercato pulito e ben fornito della catena OK .

Purtroppo la nostra stanza non ha soddisfatto completamente le mie aspettative, essendo un hotel a 4 stelle. - Al posto della doccia c'è la vasca da bagno. Non sarebbe stato un problema se il tubo della doccia fosse stato almeno il doppio più lungo; - Avrei voluto avere la possibilità di spegnere il climatizzatore completamente, in quanto la stanza era fredda. Invece ogni 2/3 ore si riaccendeva in automatico, - Consiglio di aggiungere una piccola abat-jour nella scrivania e una tendina nella finestra del bagno.

The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from Brussels Midi station, and 5 minutes walk from the centre of the town. Friendly, helpful staff, and very clean rooms.

Very nice room , with big bathroom and a good view at the garden. The bed was awesome . At the start there was a misunderstanding between the staff but finally at the check in everything goes fine. Very kind stuff. 4 restaurants around the hotel and markets also.

I think that the breakfast is very pure for the price they ask in combination that this hotel is 4 star. If anyone has stayed at van der valk hotel he will understand what means breakfast for 4star hotel 😛. The hotel is about 800 metres from the centre, but you forget all about that when you see the hotel’s facilities and the room

Tout s’est très bien passé ! C’est un excellent hôtel à tous points de vue. Nous avons vraiment été très satisfaits de notre séjour. Avec mon enfant en situation de handicap, tout s’est très bien passé et nous avons trouvé l’accueil et les services parfaitement adaptés à nos besoins. Je souhaite toutefois préciser un point important concernant l’accessibilité : il y a des escaliers à l’entrée de l’hôtel. Pour une personne qui ne peut pas marcher du tout et qui se déplace exclusivement en fauteuil roulant, cela peut être vraiment compliqué. À part ce point, nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel !

El hotel es muy bonito, elegante y moderno, la habitación era enorme y muy luminosa, tal y como se ve en las fotos, la cama comodísima y el baño reluciente, además de zapatillas y café y té diario de cortesía en la habitación. La ubicación era perfecta, a 10 min. andando de la estación sur y a otros 10 min. de la Grand Place, en una zona muy tranquila y silenciosa por la noche. Desayuno correcto y personal muy amable, aunque ninguno hablaba español.

El aire acondicionado no se podía regular.

La chambre était spacieuse et silencieuse avec une bonne literie. La salle de bain avec une douche à l'italienne était grande et confortable. Le petit déjeuner était bon et copieux. L'hôtel est bien situé à égale distance de la gare du midi et de Grand-Place.

There is no control unit for AC inside the room, and the AC is turned off automatically, which is irritating

Hotel carino, pulito e confortevole. Colazione, ottima, variegata e abbondante. Posizione comoda, non lontana dalla stazione dei treni, utili per raggiungere, anche in giornata, vari luoghi d'interesse

Non mi sono piaciuti i gradini all"ingresso dell'hotel, proibitivi per persone con difficolta' di deambulazione o per un genitore con il passeggino. Spero fosse presente un ingresso alternativo al quale non ho fatto caso!

The location is not good, not a safe neighborhood

El hotel es muy bonito, limpio y la cama comoda, el personal es muy amable tienen un buen servicio al cliente, el desayuno muy rico estaba variado y suficiente, la ubicación es excelente porque al centro historico puedes llegar caminando, cerca hay gran variedad de restaurantes, panaderias y demas.

Nuestro baño presentaba una humedad en el cielo raso del baño, y teníamos una gotera sobre el lavamanos, nos genero incomodidad para utilizar el lavamanos, la situación fue informada al personal y segun entiendo lo reparaban al salir nosotros de la habitación.

The staff were incredible! They really went above and beyond to make my stay a great one. I can’t thank them enough. The rooms had just undergone a renovation and they were incredible. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in despite the fact that work was ongoing there.

Stanza ampia e spaziosa, tende adeguate e coprenti (non passava luce, le ho adorate), personale molto cordiale e disponibile, colazione abbondante e di qualità. Struttura vicina al centro e alle stazioni.

La pulizia poteva essere migliore. Nel bagno ho trovato dei capelli lunghi rossi dietro al wc e sono rimasti lì anche se ogni giorno richiedevamo la pulizia della camera. Inoltre la luce nel bagno era scarsa. Lo specchio era dotato di un sistema con luce a led integrata che però non funzionava. Dal frigo proveniva un cattivo odore.

Stanza pulita anche se con qualche dettaglio da sistemare. In generale, un bellissimo hotel, curato e pulito con uno staff gentilissimo. Posizione ottima, si può raggiungere a piedi sia la stazione che la grand place.

La stanza è risultata un pò impolverata con macchie sul tappeto e sulle lenzuola. Fortunatamente il servizio di pulizia è ottimo e almeno per quanto riguarda le lenzuola c'è sempre il ricambio. Comunque nulla di grave.

Nothing at all

Staff generalmente cordiale (cambiava spesso, chi più chi meno), hotel confortevole e pulito, situato in una zona super comoda sia per raggiungere la stazione che il centro città. La camera è come descritta su booking, anzi ha superato le aspettative.

Sicuramente avere la parete confinante con l'ascensore non è stato piacevole perchè si sentiva forte il rumore. E l'odore dei prodotti usati per pulire non era gradevole, nonostante la camera si presentasse ben pulita ed ordinata. L'unica pecca, la camera presentava un piccolo spazio separato per il wc senza finestra e senza aspiratore.

La chambre était grande et confortable, très calme ne donnant pas sur l'avenue. L'ascenseur descendant directement à la salle du petit-déjeuner est appréciable. Plusieurs viennoiseries au petit-déjeuner. La proximité de la station de métro Annessens qui est à deux stations de la gare du Midi et l'hôtel à 10mn du centre historique où le choix des restaurants est plus important et de qualité qu'à proximité de l'hôtel. La bagagerie a permis de profiter des visites pour la dernière journée.

Une petite rampe pour monter les valises jusqu'au hall de l'hôtel serait bien venue. Une bouteille d'eau pourrait être proposée dans les chambres standard. Deux percolateurs plutôt qu'un seul au petit déjeuner est nécessaire quand le nombre de touristes est plus important à la même heure.

Posizione, a dieci minuti a piedi dal centro e dalla stazione centrale. Staff molto cortese e disponibile. Stanza pulita e ben arredata. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

El personal nos proporcionó un excelente trato. La habitación era amplia, luminosa y cómoda, con aire acondicionado. El bufé del desayuno era completo.

Aunque nos hicieron las camas, no estamos seguros si nos cambiaron sábanas/toallas y desde luego no nos limpiaron los suelos de la habitación ni del baño en el transcurso de los 4 días que estuvimos.

La camera era spaziosa e pulita. La posizione era centrale. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

The location was the deciding factor in choosing this hotel as we were arriving very late at night on the Eurostar and wanted to be able to walk from the station and also be convenient for the Grand Place and this ticked the boxes. The staff were helpful and polite and the breakfast was good.

We thought the room could have been better as it had sloping eaves with it being on the top floor so we always had to watch our to not bang our heads. We weren't expecting that type of room because it didn't appear like that in the photos.

Sehr schönes, großes und komfortabeles Zimmer in guter Lage. Fitnessraum.

Zentral gesteuerte AC (mal zu kalt, dann zu warm). Ausschalten ging nur durch Anruf an der Rezeption (soll demnächst verbessert werden).

La stanza molto grande e confortevole. I prodotti da bagno di ottima qualità.

L'aria condizionata è centralizzata e per regolarla o semplicemente spegnerla bisogna chiamare la reception.

La señora de la limpieza llegó tarde pero habíamos puesto el cartel de no molestar porque estábamos descansando un poco después del almuerzo. Luego cuando salimos a pasear, colgamos el cartel de disponible para limpiar y cuando volvimos ya de noche, aún seguía sin limpiar. Nos dijeron en recepción que la señora de limpieza no habla nada más que árabe y no entiende el cartel. Nadie se lo explica?

La grandezza della camera e bagno

Migliorerei la colazione con omelette fatte al momento, più frutta (kiwi,fragole) e prodotti più ricercati (per yogurt, salumi e succhi). Le uova strapazzate preferibile averle calde. Risolvere il problema dell'aria condizionata che si riaccende automaticamente ogni paio di ore anche durante la notte.

Very comfortable and clean and they let me leave my bag during the day. There was AC which was very quiet. A great place to stay and very reasonable.

La gestione centralizzata del climatizzatore. Non permettere di regolare la temperatura della stanza autonomamente, per cui è necessario chiedere alla reception di impostare la temperatura.
