Desafortunadamente no es amigable para personas de edad pues hay que subir muchas escaleras y la tina es muy incómoda para personas de edad!

Отель бы замечательный, старинное здание, все чисто и аккуратно. Милая девушка сразу дала нам всю необходимую информация о завтраке, о ресторанах в городе и даже пешеходный маршрут по центру города. Завтрак был превосходный в очень романтичном помещении. Отель прямо в центре.

Lovely location just beside the busier centre. Gorgeous period building with wood beams. Excellent, comfy bed, three windows for the deluxe canal view (inc in the bathroom). Full size bath and huge bathroom with two sinks. Coffee machine provided. Staff all polite, kind and helpful throughout. Liked having a traditional physical key rather than an entry code. Little biscuits on departure. I would have loved to see the other rooms as the building was so quirky and beautiful!

Nothing - though note your toilet might be in a separate room to your sink and bathroom due to the nature of the building and its architecture! Also our bathroom had full size clear glass windows and velvet curtains, so no daylight while bathing. Nothing about this was a problem. It just made the whole experience feel lovelier, but some travellers less used to being in a centuries-old building might be surprised!

Arrivée sans aucune information des lieux, nous avons chercher la chambre seul et ses commodités par déduction. Pour le petit déjeuner, nous avons du nous renseigner pour en connaître l'endroit.

Excellent location, next to the canal with a splendid view! Walking distance from all important sites in Bruges. Super breakfast in a great setting. Very helpful staff.

They can consider a hot vegetarian choice in the breakfast menu.

The location is good. The hotel doesn’t allow dogs - which is good for our allergy (but if you have dust allergy avoid at all means). They give a lot of sweets - but they’d better invest this money in cleaning.

The hotel is filthy and worn. And it’s not 16th century old, it’s 1980s worn. The towels are grey and torn - I won’t be surprised if they’re from the 80s too. The lights system is from the 80s and doesn’t work properly. The mattress is old too - I’m light, but I could feel springs. The dust is all over - see photos of the towel rack. The room smells old when you enter (the UK pub style carpets don’t help). The staff was not great, with an exception of the day receptionist wearing glasses (no badges sorry) - she was helpful. But the night receptionist barely spoke English, and was non-verbally rude (not smiling, not trying to help). Our windows overlooked a noisy hotel patio - and the night receptionist was not managing it well. It’s just a disaster - and nothing to do with the fact that it’s a historical building. And yes, the wooden buildings may be noisy, but oh, if it was the only problem!

Un peu tout Une chambre propre et spacieuse. Un personnel sympa. Dommage qu il ne parlais pas français. Mais bon on s arrange toujours. Un déjeuner complet. Et un emplacement assez proche du centre.

It was exactly what we had anticipated. We had a brief stay at the hotel, which we had booked at the last minute. They were expecting us and recommended a good parking lot nearby and a fantastic place to dine.

Great location a short walk from the centre. Lovely hotel and excellent staff. Susanna was so welcoming, knowledgeable and very helpful.

The weekly floorboards at night. Either people coming and going it did wake us up. There was some noise from outside at night too. Which can’t be helped but made sleeping tricky.

La vue sur le canal.... l'accueil.....la gentillesse du personnel..les petites douceurs a l'arrivée et au départ .. cafetière dans la chambre avec ce qu'il faut en café lait et sucre.. petit frigo et petit coffre fort dans l'armoire..

Le manque de parking...pas adapté aux personnes handicapées dont je fais partie..escaliers a monter et a descendre pour aller dans la chambre et surtout pas de douche mais une baignoire pas adaptée du tout..

Su ubicacion junto al canal,abrir las ventanas con esas vistas. Aconsejo coger habitaciones con vistas al canal. El personal muy atento en todo. La atencion de bienvenida con esos bombones tan ricos Las habitaciones limpias y confortables. El desayuno muy rico todo. El jardin para relajarte en la tarde. Sin duda hotel para repetir,nosotros estuvimos hace 15 años y hemos vuelto,en la reforma han conservado toda su esencia. Esta vez no pudimos ver los cisnes porque en septiembre se los llevan para tratar el agua de los canales.

Everything! The building was built around 1470’s as a store house, later turned into an inn around 1530’s. I loved staying in such a historical place. It has been well kept and very clean, quiet, upscale stay. The breakfast was great.

The bathroom is packed with furniture and hard to move around. The bathtub was slippery.

It's a traditional hotel in a great position which is close to the points of interest. The personnel is kind and helpful and it offers a rich breakfast.

There were some details which can be improved,such as some lights which didn't work or the old towels.

A fabulous stay! I would definitely come back because of how lovely the room was and the amazingly friendly and helpful staff

Excellent everything! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and treated warmly. Wonderful staff! Room was exactly as described, sunny and clean. The AC worked well and was quiet. Location of hotel is on quiet canal, just a minute from historic center.

Lovely hotel. Staff friendly and helpful and found a ground floor room for us as there is no lift. We had a superior room with terrace view and it was very spacious with a very big bed.

Great character hotel, a few mins to the centre, next to a canal but fortunately not where the boats travel to. Staff were fantastic. Underground parking is available in the centre about 5 mins walking away and at 16 euros per 24 hours Would stay again.

Nos ha encantado, un sitio con mucho encanto que se integra totalmente con la ciudad. El desayuno estuvo estupendo, no solo por la variedad (que es normal) sino por su gran calidad en los productos.

Recordar que al ser antiguo todo son escaleras y escalones, no hay ascensor. No hablaba nadie en Español pero no hubo ningún problema.

The location and the staff were superb

The stairs the beams and sloping ceilings. The box for parking was difficult . After our check in we heard noises from the bathroom and the waste pipe of the bath brought up a black matter which we couldn’t get off

Dirty rooms. Killed 10-15 spiders. Spiderweb all over the rooms. Fits more museum than hotel. Staff was horrible.

De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding van dit hotel is ver te zoeken. De kamers zijn veel te duur voor het geld dat je ervoor betaalt. Bovendien was het ontbijtbuffet erg matig en stelde het teleur.
