We always look forward to coming back to this hotel. The bedrooms and bathroom are Spacious as well as a large bed. Short walk to shops and restaurants. Good air con and wi fi. Friendly staff.

La primera nit no vam poder dormir Per la música de l’habitacio del costat. Vam trucar diverses vegades a recepció i finalment ho vam solucionar. Al dia seguent ens vam cambiar d’habitació, ens van deixar 4 hores sense habitació pel canvi, no ens van recompensar ni reparar Per les molesties. Per tant vam rebre menys serveis dels pagats. I aixo sumali que anavem amb una nena de 5 anys. El sopar bastant precari. Poca qualitat.

Stayed in Room 429 - a suite. Loud humming from the elevator electricity panel made it difficult to sleep. We raised it with hotel staff - they were sympathetic but nothing was done to resolve it. Hotel is dated with shower in particular being grubby. Good location and staff but we won’t be returning.

How anyone can give this place a bad review . It was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Breakfast had a violist playing in the background in the morning Lots of options for food and all well cooked and hot ,dinner also. Had such a chilled atmosphere. Pool just perfect and towels on request. Room clean and spacious we had a bottom floor room and never felt any worry about security. Cleaning staff amazing rooms spotless every day when we came back . Lovely entertainment in the evening. I will definitely be back .

Stayed for 3 nights with my grand daughter. Good reception staff and quick smooth check in, our room was fine but the fold away bunk beds on the facing wall did make it appear cramped and somehow not as chilled and nice, would have felt very claustrophobic if 4 people in there and the beds were down! Breakfast was fine with fresh fruit, bread and cereals etc however evening meal wasn't for us - there was lots of chopped up mixed dishes, the cooking station meat was tough what I tried and cakes were very artificial. The pool was ok, small but ok for children but the sunbeds that we used were dirty especially the white plastic, lots of hairs on them and even nails one day - they just need a good hose down. I ate at the poolside bar one day and that wasn't good either but the beach bar directly up from the hotel was lovely. Ive stayed at the melia in lloret and this one definitely not as good in my opinion but Cambrils is a gorgeous place and would definitely recommend it.

Disappointing experience: Bedbug & poor incident management I am very dissapointed to write this review: On the 12th of August, my friends and I stayed at this hotel. The stay was pleasant until around 2 AM, while getting ready for bed, I spotted a bed bug near the mirror. Having worked as a hotel receptionist for four years, I know firsthand that bed bugs are every hotel’s worst nightmare due to how quickly they spread and how difficult they are to eradicate. We immediately packed our belongings and reported it to the front desk. Unfortunately, the night receptionist’s handling of the situation was not professional: Dismissing the risk: After a staff member inspected and "only found one," the receptionist insisted the room was fine and encouraged us to go back, stating no other rooms were available due to full occupancy from the solar eclipse. Shifting blame: He also implied that we might have brought the pest in, or suggested it was merely "something from dogs." Denying basic hospitality facts: He repeatedly mentioned that the hotel had "never had bed bugs before." High guest turnover means every property is at risk, and a single sighting requires immediate room isolation. I have clear photo and video documentation proving it was a bed bug. Standard protocol dictates taking the room out of service instantly until treated by a specialized pest control team. Knowing the risks, I refused to go back into the room and was forced to sit in the lobby for 4 hours until the first train arrived. My friends, having to work the next day and desperate for sleep, felt they had no choice but to go back up to the room. During my 4 hour wait in the lobby, the staff offered zero compensation service; no hot drinks, no snacks, no effort to set up a temporary rest area in a conference room, and no offer to assist with taxi transport to the train station or back to Barcelona. Even after my friend followed up via email, management continues to deny the clear evidence in our photos. Even though the receptionist was overall friendly, As a fellow receptionist, I am deeply disappointed. Management needs to train their reception team on proper pest control protocols and basic guest care during a situation like this. I am sorry to leave this review, but it can't be accepted.

Perfect location. Very near to the sea Great breakfast, Spacious underground parking on site. Very friendly! Live instrumental music during the breakfast (piano and saxophone). Swimming pool with plenty sun loungers. Outstanding dinner buffet!!!

Balconies a bit small, but think that is due to the design with large gaps between balconies and room overlooked from the balcony above. Not the hotel's fault, but I could have had the same room cheaper or a better room for the same price as the standard room I booked by booking direct with with Melia. As the booking was non refundable I tried Booking.coms price match, but they would not honour it as it was a member rate, even though anyone can become a member of the Melia rewards programme immediately. First world problems I know but was a little annoying, especially as I was not able to get any Melia perks or hotel benefits because I had not booked direct,

Situado en muy buena zona, cerca de la playa. Se puede aparcar en un descampado que hay al lado. Todo el personal muy amable y atento.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the beach. It is well-equipped, the rooms are comfortable, and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, varied, and plentiful. The pool area was pleasant and modern.

Throughout our entire stay, road construction work was taking place in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Every day between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., concrete was being broken right next to our ground-floor room, which caused an extremely high level of noise. It was practically impossible to stay in the room during the day, even when using earplugs. Unfortunately, the reception staff were unable to provide any meaningful assistance. They were also rather dismissive of our concerns.

En cuanto al buffet de la cena, esperábamos una mayor calidad y variedad en los platos. Especialmente los postres nos parecieron algo artificiales.

Fuimos a Cambrils para el eclipse, el hotel estaba muy lleno, muchas aglomeraciones en el bufet tanto del desayuno como de la cena, había mucha variedad pero muy justito de calidad.

Breakfast: consistently enjoyable. All the staff from reception through restaurant to chambermaids were all delightful - that's very unusual: well done! The suite was very comfortable (as it should be). Then there was a total eclipse, which was superb.

Live music at breakfast - not a good idea: I don't think I'm alone in that opinion. The choice os music on many days was pretty depressing too. There is apparently a rooftop bar in the hotel, or so you say in marketing information. It's not on the roof, which gave us some nervous moments since it is one of the reasons I chose the hotel for the solar eclipse. You should remove the phrase "rooftop" from its description.

Great hotel and location only 5 minutes from the beach but set in a quiet area so we got a great nights sleep’. Rooms were well thought out with a mini fridge, a nice walk in shower and hairdryer Staff were friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Lili and Moha at the pool bar their service was exceptional Well maintained pool with plenty of sunbeds . Nice seating area in the shade for a snack or drinks Great evening entertainment, Breakfast was fresh and plentiful the room was well thought out with space between tables and a lovely outdoor area shaded from the sun and we had a violinist playing whilst we ate which was lovely

My partner and I stayed at Sol Port Cambrils for six nights and had an enjoyable stay overall. The hotel’s location is excellent, with just a short walk to the beachfront and restaurants. We stayed in a Premium Double Room, which was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was large and provided a great night’s sleep, while the air conditioning kept the room cool throughout our stay. The room was also well equipped with an iron, hairdryer, and mini fridge, which were all useful additions. Our balcony even had a partial sea view. The only downside was that some of the furnishings are starting to look a little dated, the toilet door must keep getting wet as the bottom of the door looks to be damp. The bedside telephone could do with being updated. Breakfast was included with our stay and offered a reasonable selection to start the day, although it wasn’t anything particularly memorable. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Excellent customer service all staff were friendly and work very hard. The place is spotless. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Bathroom was lovely with big bottles of shower gel, shampoo/conditioner and soap. Breakfast choices were plentiful and the made to order omelettes a great addition. Location was great just a few minutes from beach and lovely restaurants and bars.

Only a slight thing the fridge in the room wasn’t very cold

Excellent location. Staff were very friendly, pleasant and helpful. Facilities were great, added bonus that it had a gym.

I wish the gym had more dumbbells as only have 1kg to 10kg.

La ubicación del hotel es buena. El desayuno buffet es muy variado, con estación de tortillas/huevos cocinados al momento. Hay opción de desayunar en la terraza con música en directo.

Las habitaciones están antiguas pero limpias. El servicio de limpieza empieza a hacer ruido a las 9 de la mañana con aspiradores. La piscina está muy bien pero no tiene baños, hay que ir dentro del hotel hasta la planta -1 o al baño de tu habitación. Las toallas de la piscina no te las cambian, tienes que quedarte con las mismas toda la estancia o pagar por toallas limpias. El parking es de pago, 16€/día aunque hay un descampado cerca que se puede aparcar gratuitamente.

El aire acondicionado de la habitación es un poco antiguo y le cuesta coger temperatura a la habitación.

Room was nice and airy, we had a double premium room with a sea view on the 4th floor, tea and coffee making facilities in the room, Coffee tea and milk were only replenished once and so we ended up buying a small carton of milk and some coffee, room very quiet, breakfast was nice enough, egg station where you could get an omelette or fried eggs. Pool area was a bit of a let down, on one side the sun loungers are jammed up together so you could be lying next to a stranger mere inches away, I didn't feel comfortable with this at all, on the other shadier side ( sun does come out in afternoon) there are cabanas which do offer a little bit more space but they were the first to go so never lucky enough to get one. The pool bar opened at 12.30 which I felt was a little odd as the actual pool was opened at 10, so couldn't get my morning coffee until later. The location of the hotel is excellent, a 5 minute stroll into town

Enjoyed it's location to the beach and town. Not too close not too far. Very friendly hotel staff, happy to assist with anything asked. Very good breakfast spread.

Lack of facilities outside near the pool, have to go through the hotel to get to the toilets, this is a problem when you are wet from being in the pool.

Breakfast was nice - it's not a massive selection but does the job and the fresh omelettes were delicious. Had nutella for the kids with the pancakes. Had a gluten free toasting section. Sunday morning there was a girl playing cello to some great tunes in the outdoor breakfast area - very nice ambience. Pool area not massive but very comfortable and no issues with getting a sunbed. Reasonable gym to keep my daughter happy. Pool view not anything to write home about but we are not sit on the balcony people, am guessing we could have paid more to have a better view on the other side. Room and bathroom size were good. Beds were decent as were pillows. Aircon did the job. All the staff are very friendly and very helpful. The bar / pool lunch menu was good. 5 minute ish walk down to sea and shops / restaurant 2 minute walk up to Aldi Quiet area Entertainment at night was nice too. All in all, very nice and I would go back
