Unprofessional Overbooked and unjustified charges I had a fully prepaid 3-night reservation and completed online check-in. Arriving late due to a flight delay, I was told they were overbooked. They relocated me for one night only and couldn't accommodate me for the rest of my stay. Booking.com canceled and refunded the booking. Shockingly, the hotel later demanded I pay for that single relocation night, completely ignoring standard industry policies for their own overbooking mistake. Highly unprofessional.

Check in schnell, Zimmer (Familienzimmer) sehr geräumig, ein drittes richtiges Bett! Sehr sauber, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Frühstück sehr gut. Wenn wir wieder nach Hannover kommen, würden wir wieder dort buchen. Zum Bahnhof 5 Min mit dem Bus.

Der Stadtteil war nicht so besonders, der umliegende Park lud nicht zum Verweilen ein.

Verlängerung im Hotel um 1 Nacht hat zum gleichen Preis nicht realisiert werden können.

Zimmer mit geringen Mängeln (Waschbeckenstöpsel verhindert Abfluss, Tresor reagiert nicht, Zimmergeruch), die aber schnell behoben wurden.

The location! Even though it is close to the old town the area seems a bit shady with a lot of homeless people hanging around and people smoking weed in the park just across the street. The room has a bare minimum- a kettle and some tea and instant coffee bags.

De ligging is prima, met parkeermogelijkheid. Wel aan de prijs, 25 euro per nacht. De kamers zijn (erg) klein, maar zeer schoon. De twee dames in het bargedeelte waren erg vriendelijk.

De ontvangst bij de receptie kan echt een stuk vriendelijker, er kon net een goededag vanaf, er werd niets uitgelegd (bv over het ontbijt), ook wanneer je langs de receptie liep, kon er nog geen lachje vanaf bij de dames. In de ontbijtzaal staat een plaat, waarop staat welkom bij het vriendelijke personeel of zoiets, dat vriendelijke mag je gerust weglaten…

We stayed at this hotel for three nights, from August 7 to August 10, 2026, and overall we had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent. The hotel is within walking distance of both the city centre and a train station, which made getting around very easy. We could go shopping in the city, return to the hotel to leave our bags, and then continue exploring without any difficulty. When we first entered our room, we noticed a noise coming from the ventilation system. Since we had not yet settled in, we immediately requested another room, and the staff kindly arranged this for us. We really appreciate their quick response. The hotel itself is located in a very quiet area, so there were absolutely no problems with outside noise. We had also requested a twin room away from the elevators and stairs, preferably in a quiet area, and the hotel was able to accommodate this request as well. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the breakfast. Turkish people particularly appreciate a good breakfast, and this hotel really did an excellent job. The breakfast was impressive both in terms of variety and taste. There were different types of olives and cheese, yoghurt, muesli, eggs, salads, fresh fruit, a wide selection of coffee and tea, jams, honey, and many other options. The croissants were especially delicious and had an authentic French-style taste. There was also freshly made waffles, and with such a wide selection, nobody could possibly leave breakfast hungry. Our room was cleaned regularly and the towels were changed. The staff were friendly, helpful and always welcoming. The blackout curtains were also very useful for getting a good night's sleep.there is a nice park front the hotel. The room had a tea and coffee-making machine as well as a refrigerator. The liquid soap and shower gel provided in the bathroom were good quality. The bed and pillows were comfortable, although of course this can vary depending on personal preference.

Many Turkish people travel throughout Germany and Europe, and there are television channels from many different countries available in the hotel. However, we could not find a single Turkish television channel in the room, despite looking for one. Adding at least one Turkish channel would be a nice touch, especially considering the large number of Turkish travellers in Germany and Europe. The in-room safe was also not working properly. A member of staff came to our room twice and tried to fix it, but unfortunately the problem could not be resolved. We did not consider this a major problem because we were able to leave our valuables safely in the hotel's main safe. The hotel also offered to change our room, which we appreciated, but by that point we had already settled in and preferred to stay in our room. Nevertheless, I would recommend that the in-room safes be checked before guests arrive and that each room be fully prepared and ready for use at check-in

Personeel was vriendelijk. Het hotel is 5 minuten lopen van het centrum.

Het ontbijt is behoorlijk prijzig, dat hebben wij dan ook niet genomen. Ook het parkeren is prijzig, maar dat is de prijs die je betaald als je de auto meeneemt op vakantie en je zit bijna in het centrum van Dresden. Hannover zelf viel tegen. Overal afval en niet een klein beetje, maar vele lege flessen, kapotte flessen, lege dozen, rotzooi. Daarnaast heel veel mensen in portieken, openlijke drugsgebruikers, we zijn een paar keer aangesproken door bedelaars en ook uitgescholden door mensen met onbegrepen gedrag.

A fairly standard room with a comfortable bed. I can thoroughly recommend walking the "Red thread" trail around the city, which has a number of very interesting sites..

Nel complesso, un soggiorno molto positivo al Mercure Hotel Hannover Mitte. La struttura è bella e ben tenuta e il personale si è dimostrato sempre molto gentile, disponibile e professionale. La prima sera abbiamo avuto un problema con la camera, ma è stato risolto immediatamente con un cambio di camera, nonostante fosse già tarda serata. Abbiamo apprezzato molto la disponibilità e la rapidità con cui hanno gestito la situazione. L’hotel non si trova proprio in pieno centro, ma in circa 10/15 minuti a piedi si raggiunge facilmente il centro di Hannover, quindi la posizione è comunque molto comoda. La camera era pulita e, dopo il cambio, dal secondo giorno è stata regolarmente pulita con cambio degli asciugamani. Il fatto che il primo giorno non sia stata effettuata la pulizia è comprensibile, considerando il cambio camera avvenuto durante la notte. L’unico vero punto a sfavore è il prezzo della colazione: è comprensibile che non sia inclusa nella tariffa, ma 24€ a persona per aggiungerla mi sembra un costo decisamente eccessivo. Nel complesso, comunque, una buona esperienza e un hotel che consiglierei, soprattutto per la qualità della struttura, la posizione e la gentilezza del personale.

Sehr sauber, tolle Hotel-Bar für abends auch zum Essen. Das Frühstück ist sehr vielseitig, reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Es wurde immer toll nachgefüllt.

Die Duschbrause wechselte oft die Temperatur, aber wenn man sie nicht voll aufdreht, hat sie die Temperatur gehalten.

Frukosten hade ett bra och varierat utbud. Läget är lagom avstånd till och från Staden och tågstationen 🙂 Mannen som jobbade i baren var mycket trevlig och kunnig

The hotel is well located, a short walk to the centre of the city (U Bahn, train station, old town, etc) and is in a quiet, leafy area and thus very peaceful. We check in late at night - which was straightforward - and were given a room on the second floor. The room was fine, and contrary to what some other reviews have said, I didn't find it particularly dated or shabby in any way. The bathroom was very small but adequate. We did discover the following day that the a/c was leaking water which had trickled down the inside of the wardrobe directly underneath and made some of my clothes wet. We reported it to reception who moved us to a different room on the fourth floor which didn't have this problem. We did discover some more items in this room that were missing from the first room we were given, including: conditioner in the shower, vanity kits and drinks in the mini-bar. Not sure why these items were missing from the first room. Having arrive after midnight, we were quite hungry and the bar at the hotel was still open, so we bought a drink and the friendly bar tender Dennis was able to whip some nachos for us though the kitchen was closed, which was very kind of him and greatly appreciated, so a shout out to him. Overall, for the price we'd paid as part of the package we'd booked, I found the room and the hotel nice, and liked the quietness of it. There were some things that could be improved - for example the pillows are quite small square ones with only one on each I( prefer to have two pillows to choose from), the curtains a little threadbare, and there was no complimentary water (I always think this should be standard), and no teabags (though there was a Nespresso machine).

Das Hotel befindet sich in fußläufiger Entfernung zur hannoveraner Innenstadt und dem Bahnhof. Ebenso sind Haltestellen der öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel (U-/ S-Bahn, Bus) in unmittelbarer Nähe. Trotz dieser urbanen Nähe ist das Hotel durch seine Lage an einem kleinem Park in einem Wohngebiet sehr ruhig gelegen. Kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten sind in der näheren Umgebung vorhanden. Wir hatten ohne Frühstück gebucht. Wir nutzen eines der Lokale in der näheren Umgebung, oder die Gastronomie am Leine Ufer, bevorzugt an der Welle. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet und gepflegt, leider ohne Minibar.

针对取消订单扣费的事我联系了酒店3天，平台里一直当僵尸。去了check in desk 3次，第一次一个女服务员告知我酒店没有因为取消订单而扣费，让我联系平台。中间一直跟平台交涉，最后还是酒店没同意申请退款。第二天上午又去了check in desk ，前一天的女的很不耐烦，让我找平台，我跟她说清过程以后，让我留下信息，2小时以后来。但是，我因公务又着急离开，她就让我当天傍晚再来。这时我因行程问题，已经准备换酒店，所以当天傍晚工作结束，我又专门为此时回酒店。第三次，换了新的服务员，告知我没有办法为我办理，需要等到下周一，也找不到那个女服务员。所以我顶着德国最热的天，白跑了一趟。 其实，从始至终我需求一直很简单，给我一个明确答复可以退款or不可以。不可以就帮我出份发票。但是酒店方当僵尸，踢皮球，而且让我反复来回跑，体验十分差劲。

Die mitarbeiter beim empfang waren völlig unangemessen im verhalten! Das hotel ist offenbar auf einem absteigenden "ast". Völlig verschmutzter bodenbelag neben dem empfang überhebliche Mitarbeiter sind k.o.-kriterien die sie sich anrechnen lassen müssen.

Śniadanie znakomite, różnorodne, wszystkie produkty świeże, dania świetnie przyrządzone. Pokój był bardzo czysty, wygodny, bardzo cichy. Hotel jest świetnie położony, blisko centrum miasta, a jednocześnie w cichej okolicy, w pobliżu parku. Może drobnostka, ale bardzo mnie ujęło, że w halu przy recepcji była duża butla ze schłodzoną wodą z miętą, limonką i cytryną. Cudownie! Doskonała lokalizacja, doskonały hotel. Gorąco polecam:)

Saubere Zimmer und nettes Team am Empfang und im Restaurant. Frühstück war super und die Lage war zentrumsnah, aber das Viertel ist nicht doll.

Freundlicher Empfang, ausreichend PKW Stellplätze. Die Lage des Hotels war für mein Vorhaben perfekt. Ich bin schon mehrmals hier Gast gewesen und werde es sicherlich auch zukünftig sein.

Zimmer roch bei Übernahme sehr anstrengend und musste gelüftet werden. Auf die Verbrühung beim Duschen hätte ich gerne verzichtet. Ich dusche gerne warm, aber das war zeitweise sehr schmerzhaft. Ich hatte beim Check-In darum gebeten, Frühstück mit aufzunehmen und wurde am nächsten Morgen von Angestellten im Frühstücksraum sehr nachdrücklich darauf hingewiesen, dass ich kein Frühstück gebucht hätte; hier musste ich mehrfach betonen, dies bitte noch einmal zu prüfen.

The bedding was not the best and definitively not of a 4 star quality bedding.

My stay was not good. There was no air conditioning in my room at all. I informed the guy at the front desk who basically brushed me off and told me – without even getting up from his chair – that I was supposed to slowly decrease the temperature from 24° to 23°, wait several minutes, then decrease to 22°, wait again, etc. until I reach 18°. As ridiculous as that sounded, I gave it a try, and of course it did not work. So I went back to the front desk after an hour. The guy had been replaced by a woman who was much more sympathetic. She came up to my room and saw for herself that it was almost 30°. She fiddled with the control, could not get it work, so offered to look for a different room for me. She came back a few minutes later and said she checked at least four other rooms and none of them had air conditioning. Her only advice was that I sleep with the window open, which I did. But on the second night, a group of kids in the park across from the hotel were shouting and laughing till well past 3:00 AM. Between that and the temperature, it was impossible to sleep. I see now some comments from other guests about a lack of air conditioning so this seems to have been a longstanding problem. Apart from the air conditioning, the safe in my room also did not work. I told the staff but they were unable to fix this either. And then one of the elevators in the hotel was broken one evening. So on the whole, the hotel looks nice on the outside but seems to be falling apart inside.

Zimmer recht klein für 3 Personen, Frühstück war okay. Betten sehr hart, aber das ist halt Geschmacksache. Bei uns ging die Klimaanlage nicht, bei 30 Grad draußen etwas unangenehm, aber Fenster gingen immerhin zu öffnen.

Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet, nur etwas klein. Das Frühstück war gut. Das Zentrum von Hannover erreicht man in 10 bis 15 Minuten. Genügend Parkplätze hinter dem Hotel.Ruhig gelegen etwas abseits vom Zentrum

Das Dreierzimmer mit einem Doppelbett (unbequeme Matratze) und einem Klappbett kann ich nicht empfehlen. Ich habe heute noch Rückenschmerzen deswegen und es ist eine gute Woche her. Schade, ich hatte mir das Zimmer für uns drei Erwachsene etwas anders vorgestellt. Frühstück war dahingegen sehr gut und das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Ich habe eine Entschädigung von 26% des Preises bekommen, aber die schlechte Nacht kann man ehrlich gesagt nicht mit Geld ersetzen. Die Dreierzimmer sollten einfach überholt werden und bequemer ausgestattet sein.
