Es gibt nicht viele Parkplätze vor dem Hotel die umsonst sind und dann sind manche so unverschämt und zwei Plätze einnehmen. Im Untergeschoss gibt es einen Parking der aber 20 Euro pro Tag kostet.

Sertes il y avait un gros souci avec le personnel de restaurant. Faire tomber des verres sur les clients, faire tomber des plats par terre.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is convenient, and the staff provided good service throughout our stay. Very good breakfast was offered.
Unfortunately, there were several aspects that did not meet our expectations. The food was acceptable, but considering the Van der Valk reputation, I expected a higher quality dining experience. We had also booked a meal arrangement that was promoted via email with a discount, but this offer was not honored during our stay. The financial aspect is not the issue for us, but it is disappointing when advertised offers are not respected. If an arrangement is promoted, guests should be able to rely on it being available. The biggest disappointment was the wellness offering. The Booking.com presentation create the impression that the hotel has its own spa and wellness facilities. In reality, the well-known Thermes de Spa wellness center is a separate facility, requires an additional fee, and is located nearby. This was not clearly communicated on the Booking.com page. The hotel itself only has a small sauna in the gym area, where swimwear is required, which is very different from what most people would consider a true wellness experience. Had this been communicated more clearly before booking, we would likely have chosen a different hotel. While the room, location, and service were good, the misleading wellness expectations and the issue with the meal arrangement left us disappointed overall.

Koffie op de kamer was niet lekker. Meerdere geprobeerd. Personeel bij ontbijt vroeg 2x wie we waren en stonden hele tijd met elkaar te praten i.p.v. op te letten.

Personnel de l'accueil pas très aimable. climatisation de la chambre horriblement bruyante, on a dû l'éteindre pour pouvoir dormir. la nomination "Hôte SPA" n'est pas très correcte car pour bénéficier du SPA il faut se déplacer aux thermes et payer l'entrée !

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Aangenaam hotel met goede faciliteiten en een zeer uitgebreid en verzorgd ontbijt. Goed airco. Verzorgde kamers. Parking op plein voor het gebouw of in de buurt.
Kamer aan de achterkant hebben deels geblindeerde ruiten tegen inkijk. Badkamer heeft opfrissing nodig, gebarsten lavabo en gebarsten toilet, lekken de douchscherm. Bed is versleten en is klaar voor vernieuwing.

- Opklapbed van slechte kwaliteit en zonder topper. Gevraagd naar een oplossing, moesten hier 3 x op terug komen voordat er een topper gebracht werd. - Hygiëne kamer; plukken haar op de grond.

Not so much the property but getting to it. We went around the loop 4 times before we worked out how to get into the inner ring road. We thought it was the IKEA service yard! Signage is very small and said Holiday Inn, I understand this is the local authorities and not yourselves but some more signage on the approach would be helpful

De airco werkte niet op onze kamer waardoor we het raam open moesten zetten. Onze kamer zat aan de voorkant van het hotel en dan heb je tot 4:00 mega veel lawaai van racende auto’s en dronken mensen buiten. Om 7:00 begint de bevoorrading weer dus weinig nachtrust… Tip neem een kamer aan de achterkant van het hotel. Personeel reageerde wel netjes door de parkeerplaats gratis te geven. Dus prima hotel maar kies je kamer goed.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026Great location in the middle of Spa, we had a lovely view from the window over the fountain and funicular. It was very easy to get to the thermal spa using the funicular.
The room was very warm and I couldn't work out if there was a way to turn on A/C, it affected my sleep. Due to the proximity and link to the thermal spa, a small discount on spa prices (or maybe an evening opening or something) would be excellent.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Op de site staat dat er zwembad is en op de foto's zijn dat ook te zien. En ook spa en welness was zogezegd inbegrepen. Maar toen wij daar aankwamen zeiden zij dat spa, welness en zwembad tegen betaling (35eur/3u) naast hun hotel is. Dus daarvoor moet je extra betalen. En daar mogen geen kinderen onder 15j. Wij hebben dat hotel speciaal voor de zwembad gekozen voor ons kindje maar hadden teleurstelling. Wij zijn daar natuurlijk niet gebleven en ergens anders gegaan waar zwembad is. Dat is oneerlijk wat zij op de site aanbieden!

Maar we hebben wel in de avond met 4 pers wel in het restaurant gegeten, de service was slecht het eten matig prijs kwaliteit niet goed. We kregen maar liefst 4 x iets geserveerd wat we niet besteld hadden.
