Personne ne nous a servi dans le salon du bar. Au restaurant, ni l'amuse bouche ni le vin ne nous ont été servis. Nous l'avons signalé mais le patron ne nous a même pas présenté ses excuses. La cuisine est moyenne mais les prix élevés. Les moustiques sont attrapés par une grille anti insectes à notre vue : on les entend et on les voit griller dans la machine pendant le repas...

The property was absolutely beautiful and a really good location to stop before Calais. The pool was lovely and open until late and the restaurant served wonderful food. Great stay!

Great convenient position near Calais with lovely grounds and easy parking. Good value for money. Pleasant and helpful staff. Impressive building and our room was good on the ground floor. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Nice bar and terrace area.

Shower in the bath that was awkward to get into and slippery. Would have preferred just a shower. End of season so some areas looking a bit shabby. No air con so room was very hot with only a tiny fan.

My room was perfectly adequate for an overnight stay... The Staff at the hotel were very friendly and the Restaurant was very nice with breakfast offering a really good selection... Oh and the 'Peacocks' were really entertaining, whilst having a beer outside in the garden the Peacocks come right up to me and just did there thing...

Our room was in the Pavillon and was enormous and had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Couldn't fault the layout and comfort. The accommodaition was definitely above the three stars. Excellent breakfast. So much choice.

The restaurant and the breakfast are taken in another pavilion. On entering the restaurant in the evening we had asked to be seated inside as it was extremely hot. The waitress said we would be more confortable outside on the terrace as it would be cooler. In retrospect I think it was more convenient for them. It was not cooler, and it was scruffy. No charm whatsoever, apart from the passing peacocks. The menu was also limited.

Brilliant place to stay before / after a Channel crossing - just 25 minutes (and a world away) from Calais. Will definitely return as this is the place for an immediate unwind. Amazing site and grounds.

Beautiful property, ideal to relax in nature. Fantastic staff, every single person we talked to was very friendly and helpful. We spent a lot of time in the pool. Would definitely visit again!

The ambiance, the area around the hotel was well kept and inviting. Breakfast was excellent.

The bathroom did not have a shelf to put your toilet bag on or keep your toothbrushes or hangers for your towels. Also very disappointed with the restaurant menu which was the same each day and contained a lot of fish dishes and as I dont eat fish when I ate the meat the first night I would have had to have the same the following night! Luckily we found a fabulous restaurant not too far away which met my needs admirably.

We stayed at the Hotel last year and again this year on our way back from Italy. It is in a great location for staying overnight en route to Le Shuttle at Calais before a long journey home. The building is fabulous and set in beautiful gardens. It has 4 EV chargers that are reasonably priced. We did not use the spa area on this occasion but previously found it to be very pleasant.

Our room was on the ground floor and quite small. It had two large windows in the room but due to the high temperatures, the heavy curtains needed drawing to provide shade. There was a floor fan but this was ineffective so it was an uncomfortable stay unfortunately.

De rust en de grote tuin zalig uitzicht

Kamers in het kasteel zijn aan opfrissing toe, is gekuist waar je veel gebruik van maakt maar kasten en onder bed niet proper. Zwembad niet verzorgd. Ontbijt mag iets uitgebreider. Konden ‘s avonds aan de bar geen thee drinken want koffiemachine was defect, zorg dan dat je back up heb… waren nochtans nog machines aanwezig in het restaurant😏

Leider wurden die Tesla-Ladestationen (mit CCS2-Kabel) durch andere ohne Kabel ersetzt. Es war auch kein Kabel ausleihbar.

Lovely atmosphere and surroundings, clean spacious, comfortable rooms.

The evening meal was mixed - some meals were good others not great. The service was quite slow.

Service in the restaurant was somewhat erratic. Ordered our meal and waited three quarters of an hour for it to be served. Other diners were comin in and being served within 15 minutrs or less.

Was emailed the day before I arrived to say the restaurant was fully booked but they could supply a charcuterie board in the bar. Great, I thought. Got to the hotel, had 2 pints of beer and then was told there was no one to make the board. Due to the location of the hotel I would've needed my vehicle to get to somewhere to sell food so I wish they'd told me sooner as I was over the limit. Had to order a McDonalds on Uber Eats.

Shower. WiFi. Location. Quiet.

Not suitable for elderly people. We knew there was no lift but the stairs has a flimsy and rickety hand rail. Anyone stumbling would fall through it. The shower was brilliant but there were no grab rails for the elderly fitted. The kettle had to be taken to the sink for water with all the cable and plug. The socket for the kettle is low down and difficult to reach. The cable was not long enough and only just reached the table. It is not long enough to pour into the cups. The selection of tea/coffee/milk was very poor. Slow service for the evening meal. It took from 7.15 pm to 8.45 pm to serve two courses.

Dinner was good and the restaurant was a pleasant setting. The bar was also good with live entertainment.

It is unusual for me to be disappointed in a hotel I book, but I was with this. We paid for a 'luxe' chateau room. It was very expensive for what it was. Very little space at the side of the bed - there might be a power socket but the chest of drawers (with missing handles) was in front of it. As there was no air-conditioning, we opened the window to be greeted by an ant trap on the sill. There seemed to be something heating the bedroom and more so the bathroom, which in the height of summer is not appreciated. The shower was over the bath and was not very powerful. And if I'm paying this sort of money, I don't expect 'instant' coffee in the bedroom. I had to ask for cups for the coffee machine at breakfast. Then I had to ask for plates. The croissants tray was empty. Overall very disappointing and not worth the money.

We were traveling from Ireland through the Eurotunnel and chose this hotel as a quick one-night stopover. What a lovely hotel! Not too far from the main road, situated in beautiful and tranquil surroundings. Our room was in the newly built annex beside the main chateau. The room was clean and spacious with a balcony and mezzanine bedroom. Staff were very accommodating and very polite. Breakfast was served in a separate building with a courtyard. EV charging was availble beside the annex building.

No air conditioning in rooms within the chateau itself, only in the more modern buildings next to it. Fans were provided, though in the middle of a heatwave, those only offered limited improvement. Various menu items were unavailable, some only advised after ordering. Evening meal was OK, though not fabulous. Breakfast was good.

Fabulous hotel, everything was superb. Great location, very clean, staff were very helpful.

Pool was a little chilly. Was a shame we couldnt eat in the restaurant. We were told a week before that it was full and couldnt cater for us. You would think the hotel restaurant would be able to do enough covers as the hotel holds guests?

We loved the gardens and pool and exceptional dining. Staff were really helpful and did everything to make us feel welcome.

Room was a funny shape so needed to reorganise the furniture. Could have done with another bedside table and housekeeping was a little flaky. Could do with an earlier check-in.

Food served in the restaurant building is good and the external building and associated facilities look good. Parking is free and the reception staff are OK. Location to 'le shuttle' is perfect.

Room provided didn't look anything like the ones used when selecting this Hotel/Chateau. Waiters in the restaurant and during breakfast are a little surly and you don't get to pick your table. Even though they sell you a B&B with Dinner package, you can't deviate and buy any extras other than wine or water. Room looks dirty and not suited to fitting in a double bed as you hardly got any room at the end and side nearest the window. Bath only with shower over and screen that has a gap under the side so water leaks al over the floor. Carpet looks to have been down years and bedside tables are dirty and well worn. They did give us a discount, but it doesn't replace the bad feeling of being shoved in an old room not used you years.

Top tip would be book early and try and get one of the two bigger rooms in the main building and the standard doubles are not a big room. There are other rooms in the block by the pool, these may be more suitable for families. Overall, a very pleasant stay. The location is good for a quick dash to the channel ports the next morning, while being in the countryside away from any traffic. Not too far from Saint-Omer which is worth a stroll around. At dinner, the standout dish was the scallops, but the other dishes were not far behind. Breakfast, which was included in the price was quite acceptable.

Le petit déjeuner mériterait de monter en gamme, pas au niveau de ce type d'établissement / à ce prix.

Le cadre est magnifique, très paisible et reposant. L'ensemble de la propriété est soigné et l'atmosphère est particulièrement agréable.

Notre chambre dans le Château ne disposait pas de climatisation. Je comprends que la canicule est exceptionnelle, mais ce type d'épisode n'est plus rare et, au vu du prix des chambres, des ventilateurs me sembleraient être un minimum. Sans climatisation, la seule solution était d'ouvrir les fenêtres, mais notre chambre donnait juste au-dessus de l'entrée du château. Résultat : il fallait choisir entre la chaleur et le bruit des conversations à l'extérieur, ce qui a empêché ma fille de 3 ans de s'endormir avant que tout le monde soit couché. Enfin, le restaurant était correct, mais j'attendais une cuisine et des boissons d'un niveau supérieur compte tenu des tarifs pratiqués.

Een deel van het personeel was ok, maar er werden veel fouten gemaakt en sommigen hielpen tegen hun goesting.

Een hotel voor die prijs zonder airco dat begrijp ik niet goed. Wij hadden geboekt met diner inbegrepen. Volgens de kaart was dat een driegangenmenu menu, maar we kregen slechts 2 gangen. Bovendien moest je voor veel dingen een supplement betalen, was de keuze beperkt en brasserieniveau. Wij rijden met een elektrisch voertuig. 2 laadpalen werkten blijkbaar niet. Volgens de ene receptionist lag het aan mij en de andere dame zei dat ze met die 2 laadpalen veel problemen hadden.

A beautiful hotel set in fabulous grounds . Our bedroom was in the annex which was beautifully decorated with doors opening into the lawn. The bathroom was recently refurbished to a very high standard. The staff were very welcoming & the restaurant food was excellent although the service was a little slow . We ate in the garden which was lovely.
