入住時間沒有人在櫃檯，到隔壁酒吧拿key，酒吧人員他們的服務態度非常好

床鋪床單完全沒有換過，一打開整個是皺摺，還有莫名的黃色液體痕跡殘留，真的很噁心

The room was simple, lovely, clean and had a good view to the Main Street

Pretty happy all around

The location is really convenient, especially if you are using public transport. There is also grocery shopping within walking distance.

Some of the facilities were not very clean. There was moldy food in the fridges. Additionally, there were small bits of dirt and hair in the beds.

It was three doors down from where I was doing research.

The toilet in the bathroom ran constantly with a high whine sound.

very central location, very comfortable bed. although I booked a single room, but I was in a bunk room on my own.

The bed was rock hard and roll together, no tv for the price we paid , no fridge or jug for a cuppa , very noisy in hallway etc , there was a smell in the bedroom we didn't know where it was but when we were about to leave to go home we lifted up the sheets and found lots of wet stains and blood stains on the mattress and on the mattress cover I have emailed you guys back about it and requesting a full refund of $100 it was not acceptable the bed was absolutely filthy it should have been thrown away or clean professionally not just remade.

Very good location. The bus stop is literally in front of the entrance Double room comfortable, modern and with lot of light. Bathrooms and toilets very cleaned, as well as the kitchen tidy and well equipped. And 2 living room to stay too

Our room was between the lift, the door to the stairs and the door you give access to the others rooms, so a bit noisy especially on the morning Few improvements would be appreciated - coat hangers and/or shelves/drawers in the room - stickers and pen to label the food - another fridge would be ideal because 2 is not enough for the number of residents

Location, my bus stop was right outside th building, handy to dining places andlaundry facilities were perfect for me

電梯震動很大聲，在房間也都聽得到，最不能接受的是出了電梯的梯間及房間都有一股陳年老舊的霉味及體臭油垢味 訂房時僅餘一間雙人房，浴廁需共用，除了蓮蓬頭不甚清潔，其餘都滿乾淨的 另外房間臨馬路，週末汽車引擎呼嘯聲直至凌晨2點都還很吵 房間無附空調，僅在牆上有一個小型加熱器

Staff was really friendly to me during check-in and check-out.

Room did not meet my expectations at all. Room photos on the website differed a lot from reality. Very thin walls, everything seemed to be a bit run-down (except from the restaurant next door). Did not feel very comfortable to stay there. Please note the restaurant / café is not part of the hostel itself, it is separate place. Photos here on booking.com might be a bit misleading.

Great central location. Kitchen was large and well stoked.

Our sheets unfortunatley had lots of long hairs on them, and all through the bed and some stains. Understand it's a hostel, but not a great look, and wasn't super stoked about sleeping in the beds. We arrived later in the evening, so there was no one to speak to about it.

The window above my bed kept me up all night as it's in the roof and has no way of blocking the light at night - was also very anti social although not the worst thing as I was only passing through

Wonderful location, the dorms were spacious even though they were sparsely decorated. The kitchen was enormous. The location was excellent for people getting off the intercity bus or getting on as it was right outside the door.

Like many hostels in New Zealand there wasn’t really a lot of toilets and showers compared to the amount of people staying however it did seem to work.

Location was fantastic as it was in the centre of town across from a great mall and cinema. The building had a lift which was helpful when taking my suitcase upstairs. I booked a bedroom and ensuite which was really good, very clean, quiet and comfortable. There was a huge lounge and kitchen upstairs, plus a laundry. Excellent facilities.

Staff never greeted you even when they were in reception. I thought they could have done better. Even when they occasionally greeted me they didn't seem very friendly. Sometimes they hid behind the partially drawn screen in reception which i also thought was very unfriendly. Other backpackers I've stayed in have been much more welcoming. Also, i paid for breakfast in their bar next door and all of the electric plugs were taped over and the staff were not allowed to help me charge my phone. This is also not very welcoming to guests. Surely in the morning they could at least have a plug.

The hostel is close to the city center. Kitchen is huge and everything is generally clean. Strong WiFi connection.

There is no free parking nearby so it’s really challenging to find a space if you have a car. There is no curtain for the bunk bed. The whole hostel atmosphere is a bit odd which makes me not wanting to stay longer.

I've stayed at Tuatara Lodge several times now and I feel right at home there. The accommodation is basic but good, the shared version areas are clean and spacious, and having the restaurant downstairs is a great thing. Very good central location as well, and the bus stop right outside.

There's no outdoor area to enjoy but it didn't really bother us too much anyway.

Always good to stay here.
