Les murs sont fins donc beaucoup de bruit même à 3h du matin, douche commune avec le même tapis de bain pour tout le monde , nous n’avons pas pu prendre le petit déjeuner car nous partions tôt nous avions réglé pourtant les 2 petits déjeuners les propriétaires ne nous ont pas proposé de panier à emporter ou remboursement dommage …

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026It was perfect. The room was cute and the beds comfortable. There were plenty of bathrooms and they were very clean and functional. The staff was incredibly nice and helpfull and the breakfast was incredible. Loved the stay, wish i stayed longer.

Personal otrevlig mot gäster. Klagade öppet och högt till et gammalt äktepar så alla hörde i frokostsalen att dom körde för fort in på gården kvällen innan. Man kan ju förstå det da personalen har små barn som bor i huset men man kunna ju ta dom till sida och sega på en bra sett . En uhyfsat grej till: Min pojke åt inte sin macka upp , jag ville ta den med , synd att kasta den , men han skämde mig ut att jag skulle ta med den halve mackan i en servett till pojken på 13 år.

Sängarna var lite för mjuka för vår del men det är ju så olika från person till person och kan inte passa alla.

Eftersom vi hade tre öl och en flaska bubbel med oss hade vi velat lagt dessa i ett kylskåp. Betänk, var där för att bara vara på Festvalveckan. Nåväl vi fick roa oss hos mina släktingar😉

He responded promptly to all my requests before arrival, showed us around. Very welcoming and cozy atmosphere. Tasty healthy breakfast with lots of local food. I wish we could have stayed there longer. Strongly advised!

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026Hemtrevligt och mysigt turisthotell. Bra läge i Särna nära huvudvägen, men ändå tyst och lugnt. Fantastisk frukost med lokala varor, underbar gröt och surdegsbröd. Rymligt rum med egen balkong!
Tyvärr var det strömavbrott i hela Särna under vår kväll. Delad toalett och dusch, fick lysa med telefonen på toan. Tunna väggar, man hör grannarna prata och snarka på natten.

Sehr schlichtes Badezimmer. Kein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Im Rahmen unserer Rundreise durch Schweden war es die teuerste Unterkunft und zugleich die mit dem geringsten Komfort.

Reviewed Jan 7, 2026Veldig god frokost, basert på lokale produkter, bl.a. fra husets eget bakeri. Vi nøst virkelig frokosten og koste oss i den store spisestuen. Det er ikke så ofte en opplever. Entusiastisk og hyggelig betjening, med gode mat- og kokkekunnskaper. I tillegg interessant å se hvordan vertskapet hadde klart å restaurere en stor, gammel bygning, til et overnattingssted. Her gjensto fortsatt en del arbeid, før prosjektet var fullført, men det var jo bare en interessant opplysning for oss.
Badet til formmet vi leide, var fortsatt av eldre standard, men ikke noe problem for oss. Alt fungerte. Huset var jo fortsatt ikke ferdig-restaurert, så det kommer sikkert moderne løsninger etter hvert. Så egentlig liten grunn til negativt smilefjes.

Att dela dusch och toalett med andra är lite bökigt men det får man ta.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2024The Turist Garden accommodation was absolutely amazing! Highly recommended! The rooms were beautifully decorated and the beds were super comfortable. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was exceptionally good. Where else do you get home-baked sourdough bread served every morning? Baked with the best ingredients. Everything on the breakfast buffet is either homemade or from very good local producers. The dinner was perfect! I ate reindeer for the first time - it was perfect. Also the salad was amazing. Turistgarden serves seasonal food with local products - for me the best what you can get in an accomodation. Better than a five stars hotel... The Nationalpark Fulufjället is only 15 minutes away by car. The nature is amazing and you will find wilderness. Thank you very much for this fantastic experience Mieke, Jacco, Olle, Noah and Linus;-) I will come again - hopefully in September!

Reviewed Jul 29, 2024My son and I embarked on the TET (Trans Euro Trail, that is an off road motorcyle trail event) braving unfavorable weather conditions. After riding 300 kilometers in downpour, we were soaked, cold, and exhausted. Fortunately, we stumbled upon B&B Turistgarden in Sarnä. They welcomed us with open arms, attending to our every need. Our motorcycles found shelter inside the shed, and a shoe dryer revived our soaked boots. Jacco even called a friend in town to open his shop so we could buy gas for our stove. As the rain continued outside, we sat down to an extraordinary meal: a fantastic reindeer dish paired with a cheese platter, all thoughtfully sourced and complemented by homemade sourdough. Our cozy room, complete with a refreshing shower, was a welcome respite after a chilly day on the bike. The next morning, Jacco & Mieke treated us to a delightful breakfast and packed a delicious lunch for our journey. I wholeheartedly recommend B&B Turistgarden—their warm, family-oriented approach combined with Dutch and Swedish hospitality made our stay truly memorable.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2023Very nice and welcoming hosts. The house is a very beautiful old Swedish wooden house and they have a nice garden. If you have children (not my case), I'm sure they will love it. The included breakfast consists mostly of local or self-made/grown products. The room was comfy and clean and I had a good sleep and a nice breakfast in the garden. I would choose to stay there again.

Reviewed Jun 22, 2023First of all the hosts! And I can’t stress this enough. I must say that we arrived cold and wet and Jacob received us and prepared us this lovely meal. And some homemade sourdough bread. At this point is probably worth mention that he is a chef? Also promptly helped us with some bike mechanical issues. The place is an amazing and renovated building.

We knew there were no en-suite facilities and as there were not many guests this was ok. However, I imagine when the hotel is full that could be quite difficult. The wifi didn’t work in our room so we had to go to the public areas to access it.
