Amazing snorkeling & lovely staff. We were lucky enough to spot sea turtles during our stay! Our Thakuru Mohamed Ziraaru took great care of us right from the day we checked in. Even on rainy days when buggy transfers were very busy, Ziraaru arranged all our activities on time. The housekeeping team came twice a day, morning and evening. They kept refilling our water and restocking all the supplies we needed. The food and beverage team was lovely as well. Mr. Ameel, the manager at Celsius Restaurant, always greeted us warmly. Miss Pujia from Nepal, Miss Claire from China and Mr. Jinaan worked hard every day to give us fantastic dining service.

The bedding in the overwater bungalow tends to feel damp on rainy days. It would be ideal if the hotel could find a solution to this problem.

Everything, the butler (yash), the food was amazing, everything was CLEAN, the service was beyond perfect everyone was kind, such a romantic island for couples, and most importantly they really took good care of me since Im pregnant.

The ultimate vacation destination - everything about the resort screams luxury. The scenes were spectacular and service was top notch. My husband and I had a wonderful early birthday celebration at Huvafen. Every meal we had was world class, the chefs truly are masters of their craft. The underwater spa was the highlight of our trip so I highly recommend booking this in advance! Thank you Ismail the property manager for extending a warm welcome and allowing us some extra time to spend before checking out. Shout out to Shamil, Jinan, Wint and Kumar for the wholesome hospitality. Lastly we’d like to thank our Thakuru, Saif for taking special care of us and attending to our every need! Our stay couldn’t have been more perfect!

My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Huvafen Fushi Resort to celebrate our anniversary, and I can confidently say it was one of the most unforgettable experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality of the entire team made us feel truly special. I would especially like to commend Nazeeh, who took exceptional care of us throughout our stay. His attention to detail, warmth, and sincere effort to ensure our comfort and happiness went far beyond expectations and made our anniversary celebration even more meaningful. Our bungalow was simply outstanding—spacious, modern, beautifully designed, and offering complete privacy with its own private pool. It was the perfect blend of luxury and tranquility, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment together. The activities were equally memorable, particularly the fishing trip, which added a unique and authentic Maldivian experience to our stay. Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Tolles Resort unbedingt zu empfehlen. Perfektes Service, wunderbare Umgebung, das Essen wie in der Spitzengastronomie. Unser Buttler Shahid war immer zur Stelle, Rameez für unser Zimmer verantwortlich perfekt, Saif und vor Allem Shantal Samargsekara im Restaurant extrem liebenswürdig und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen wieder.

Anlässlich eines runden Geburtstags und der Neugier auf ein altes neues Hobby (Tauchen) haben wir uns für das Ressort Huvafen Fushi entschieden. Es ist von Male mit dem Boot erreichbar. Nah einem langen Flug muss man nicht nochmal umsteigen, sondern kommt mit einem Schnellboot in 30 min zum Ziel der Träume. Der Empfang war bereits am Flughafen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Bereits in der welkom lounge am Flughafen fühlt man sich sofort gut aufgehoben. DIeses Gefühl hat die nächsten 10 Tage ununterbrochen angehalten. Jeder Wunsch wurde uns von den Lippen abgelesen. Unser Butler Sidu war allgegenwärtig ohne aufdringlich zu sein, organisierte alle Aktivitäten, seien es die spannenden Tauchausflüge, die wunderbaren Spa Behandlungen, das Geburtstagsessen "Rock dinner", garniert mit allerlei freundlichen Überraschungen. Alina und Steve, die guides vom Tauchclub waren sehr professionell, haben sofort Vertrauen hergestellt, gerade wenn man lange nicht mehr tauchen war. Aber auch das Riff direkt vor unserem Beach house war mit bunten Fischen inkl. RIffhaien bereits beim Schnorcheln leicht zu erkunden. Die 2 Pools des Beachhouse waren supe und sind von uns umfangreich genutzt worden. Der Zimmerservice Farough war spektakulär und individuell mit persönlichen und kreativen Grüßen. Das Restaurant Celsius bietet ein abwechslungsreiches à la carte Menü an, dort ebenfalls mit ausnahmslos freundlichem Personal. Alles geleitet von Ismail und Noel, den beiden Manager des Ressorts, mit denen wir viele interessante Gespräche über die Malediven, die Flora und Fauna führten. Es war ein Traumurlaub, in jeder Hinsicht

Die großartige Auswahl an Weinen und Champagner war zwar erstaunlich, inkl. riesigem Weinkeller, die Preise dafür waren aber unverhältnismäßig hoch (etwa 5-6 Fache verglichen mit den Weinpreisen in europäischen Restaurants). Das Angebot könnte etwas ausgewogener sein.

The dining experiences in Celcius and Salt, the attention to detail and the atmosphere created on the Island are really extraordinary. Everything was done to perfection! The level of service and food, meant we could enjoy the best cuisine from all corners of the world at every mealtime. We found every member of staff so friendly, professional and dedicated to making our stay exceptional. Our Thaakuru, Nihan; the restaurant team Sadhin, Alim & Chantal and Rameez from housekeeping all made our time on the Island unforgettable. Thank you to the incredible team at Hufaven Fushi and we really hope to come back one day!

The service stuff can do with some training. EG my bathtub was not washed for two days after i used it. At the resurant the menu is not vast. They need to add more meat options.

Exceptional resort, wonderful reef and snorkeling, delicious food and stunning views. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially our butler Nihan. We also met wonderful servers in both restaurants. I wish I could remember their names to give them a proper shout out. The resort was not too crowded because it is smaller than some of the other major chains, which gave it a very peaceful and romantic vibe. We will definitely come back!

Because the resort is smaller, there was not much nightlife. My husband and I like to dance to a good band or DJ, but they only had entertainment twice a week. I think if you want a big social scene, one of the larger resorts would be more your style. But for three nights at this amazing resort, we didn’t miss this aspect at all.

We had an incredible 10 day stay here for our honeymoon, the staff went above and beyond to enhance our honeymoon experience with several complimentary offerings. The service is comparable to some of the best in the world whilst not obtuse. Our water bungalow accommodation was even better than expected with the room being larger than anticipated. The food was also outstanding throughout our stay at every occasion. 5*

We had a wonderful 8 night stay in this luxury resort. The ocean villa was huge and had wonderful sunset views. We loved the large infinity pool on the main island, the snorkelling on the house reef where we saw stingrays and reef sharks, the variety of restaurants and the overall luxury feel of the resort.

This place is truly magical. From the moment you arrive you are swept off your feet with the luxury and attention to detail of the property and the staff. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. EVERYTHING is absolute perfection. The room was stunning. The food was absolutely sensational. The snorkelling was incredible. All of the staff around the island were friendly and professional. I could go on and on! Our butler Nellie was truly fabulous and made our stay extra special. This place is true paradise - we are counting the days until we can return.

After more than a month of honeymoon and many accommodations visited, we can say, that this was the worst in some details for its category. The room included filtered drinking water and milk, coffee and tea. After the first night we used up the first brick of milk for coffee and it was not replaced. The second day we used the second one. We said we needed more and were told that the hotel was out of stock, they could bring us a glass but it was a charge. how can this happen in a hotel where you pay over $2000 a night? I received several emails asking me about my arrival time, when this had already been arranged with our previous accommodation in the Maldives. It is a large hotel compared to others of similar price, 46 villas in total, which makes it not feel too exclusive. At meals the dining room is often full and even if you have booked, you may have to wait. The first and last overwater bungalows, both ocean and lagoon, are very exposed to passing buggies. In particular, in the latter you can be seen by both guests going to the pavilions and staff while you are in your villa, so privacy is minimal. You also hear buggies every five minutes. Most of the beach villas are in the water sports area and the main jetty. They also had no honeymoon detail, which we had had at all our previous accommodations, including the previous one in the Maldives.

Excellent choice of breakfast and evening meals in the Celcius Restaurant. Beautiful, peaceful resort, a slice of paradise. Fabulous spa and spa treatments. Despite not diving/snorkelling we saw lots of fish, sharks and stingrays. We loved that it was so warm all through our stay. ( high twenties) Helpful and knowledge staff. Bonus having tea/coffee making facilities in the apartment.

Neither the Raw or Salt restaurant's had food that appealed to us. Weather is changeable, we had rain for several hours on two afternoons and it can be quite breezy at times. I expected it to be more consistent in January. However, this didn't spoil our trip in any way.

Breakfast was just right. Room looked freshly done . Dinner despite my half board was amazingly good with ala carte menu. The best of all was my Butler Saif who organised everything we needed from Check in at the room to our snorkelling, to the special dish Reef fish ceviche we wanted to reorder.

Have nothing to complain.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Huvafen Fushi Resort, and it was nothing short of exceptional. A big thank you to Naadi who went above and beyond to make my birthday unforgettable. The personal touches and attention to detail truly made me feel special throughout our stay. We would also like to thank Noel and the team for their hospitality, their commitment to excellence was clearly demonstrated and visible which added to the overall wonderful experience. Great Island, Sensational Spa, Amazing Food, Exceptional Service! A big thank you to everyone.

1) friendly and understanding staff; not only did they acknowledge some of their mistakes, they compensated for them. 2) the resort is very small, thus very quiet. If you’re looking for quietness. Not a lot going on. 3) the Villa itself was gorgeous with 2 pools which was an added bonus! 4) the underwater spa is a unique experience!

1) the most thing that I did not like was the lack of variety in food. Only 3 restaurants with limited menus. Not expected from a supposed 5 star resort nor the price we paid. 2) it could get quite boring in the evenings and especially after 1-2 days. No music no activities no variety in events done by the resort. 3) not an ideal resort for children. No kids club. Limited menu option. 4)no gift shop or store on the island for any extra necessities we needed. 5) the beach villa wasn’t very private. Anyone on the beach or swimming in the sea could see right into the room.

It was incredible ... the island, experience, people, room ... everything.

Everything! Slightly further away from male which was good for us away from the airport. . Perfect for our honeymoon. Prices of activities and food very high but similar to the competition. We loved our beach bungalow with private pool in lieu of upgrade to sea bungalows. We loved the bang and olfsen sound system to play our music, our butler didi, the friendly staff, the beach the sea life sharks and turtles. The food was all amazing too. Gym on prominade. The underwater spa. Thank you.

Celsius restaurant lovely, but in evening à little dark to see our food clearly. Minor maintenance snags. Some decor a little dated imo. All these are very minor though!

the Island is quite close to the airport, clean, many many activities to try. the staff were super friendly, professional and at your demand. our butler Younus was the best, he made sure our stay was smooth and up to the par. he met our every need and proactively supported us with activities and the spa. the team at Celsius ( Sujeewa, kessi, suaid, Ramiz) were absolutely gracious and professional and very friendly!

I would say and I have suggested that to the management and they have agreed to look in to it was the variety of food options. I was very impressed that they have asked me the same question and took my feedback and asked questions to understand more. Bravo!!!

We had an absolutely incredible honeymoon vacation here! The staff was top notch (special shout out to our butler Shuzaan.) We would absolutely come back again. It is truly a magical place.

Even with full occupancy there was only 100 people in the hotel. It made for a very quiet and peaceful stay. The property was truly 5 star. Our Thakaru Vicky was fabulous. He made everything so easy and enjoyable. Food was spectacular. Service was off the charts. Such nice people.

Everything was amazing!!

Not worth the price tag. Save your money for the four seasons. Service was almost nonexistent. You’re going to have to ask atleast 4 times to get anything done. Food was subpar, resort needs renovation. The island is pretty. That’s about it.

The island is amazing. It is small but beautiful. Also very convenient boat ride from the airport. The villas are spacious and elegantly decorated. The food in the main restaurant is excellent with a variaty of choices. Snorkeling of the beach is beautiful with many fish and sea life to see. Don't miss the friendly sharks underneath the Japanese restaurant. We had a great msaagae in the underwater spa. They let you stay after the massage for some hot or cold drinks to enjoy the view.

Great Resort with truly great service

I liked the fact that the resort was the only facility on this island, so it made for a more private stay. The staff was excellent and very hospitable. We got to know them like family because we saw them every day. It was an excellent stay and we highly recommend it.

This is one of the best places we’ve ever been, in all the world. Everything about the resort and the island is absolutely perfect. Snorkeling is surreal. The on site Marine Biologist, Hamid, is a really great and so informative - don’t miss his sting ray feedings every evening at 5:30! Food is amazing and water villas are extraordinary. Best experience ever.

I had stayed in Huvafen Fushi and it was simply magical and wonderful. We loved the Water villa and the ambiance but felt it might need some refurbishment. Food, spa and service are superb and as expected.

The place is very beautiful! It is one of the best tropical beach resorts we have gone to. The water villa is great. You get to dip in a small pool privately while watching the awesome scenery. The staff are very accommodating and helpful.
