Absolutely Dangerous to stay here cause in the night, if you parked the car over the neighbor space, you can find your car damaged and the structure tells you that it can happen!!! WHAT???
I've never experienced anything like this, a four-star hotel where you can't drink anything in the bar due to a lack of staff. Furthermore, some facilities are not working, also a.o. due to a lack of staff.
We stayed at this hotel, and our experience was extremely disappointing. * Our “Superior” room overlooked the pool, which was noisy from children from early morning, making it impossible to rest. * The rules requiring slippers to access the pool were unreasonable and unhygienic, and the pool was constantly overcrowded, so we never used it. * Hot water was unreliable, air conditioning turned on at night despite freezing temperatures outside, and the room was poorly cleaned with the bed badly made every day. * Breakfast was very limited, with few local or quality products. * On arrival, there was a hair in our drinking glass that was only removed on day three, with no apology or proper attention from management. The hotel had agreed to compensate us 30% of the booking price due to these issues. This refund was supposed to be processed via Booking.com, but despite multiple follow-ups over two months, I have still not received it. The hotel refused to assist with Booking, leaving me without any refund. An extremely disappointing stay, both in terms of service and how the refund was handled.
Lovely staff. Misleading advertisement regarding queen bed and single bed in the apartment. There are 2 single beds and a pull out couch.
We stayed in Hotel while we explored Tuscany. Excellent location as a base stay, close proximity to Siena, Volterra, Florence etc. It’s located in a heart of Chianti region. Excellent customer service, nice facilities, swimming pool, wellness club with dry and wet sauna, variety of food to choose from for the breakfast. Special thanks to Anna, Mattio, Victoria and Silvia for providing excellent service, helping with recommendations and information regarding sightseeing, dining, restaurants, wineries, etc. Would definitely recommend this hotel to families with kids and couples to stay in during visiting Tuscany.
I’m not sure if we had an out of the ordinary experience during our time here or if the hotel is in financial trouble but sadly our stay at the hotel was plagued with issues. Our initial room we stayed in had an issue with the plumbing and during the stay gas from the sewage system was coming up through the drain holes and caused the whole room to fill with harmful gas several times. This alongside the air conditioning which did not work. You are not able to control the AC from the room you have to request the temperature to be changed at reception. We asked them to put it as low as they can which is 17 degrees. Unfortunately our room was 30 degrees at all times we know because we checked (when you turn off the AC system it displays the current temperature in the room.) You step out into the corridor and it almost felt like an ice box in comparison. Due to these two issues we asked if maintenance could take a look and the hotel then informed us we should move rooms as they couldn’t fix the issue. (However we found out they gave that room to another customer that same day without fixing the issue which was interesting.) We moved to a different room where we were told the AC would work. After a few hours we found this to not be true. After asking reception to turn the temperature down again they informed me there was nothing they could do and to speak to management about the issue as apparently it is persistent in all the rooms. They offered me a fan which when we plugged it in found out it didn’t work. We were then handed another fan which did work but had no fan guard on it and definitely should not be allowed to be used by customers (but needs must.) We also had an issue at breakfast when we went to fill up our water bottle we were told no by the staff and that the water dispenser was for water to be drunk in the breakfast space only and not to be taken away. I asked why this was and again was told to take it up with management. The car park at the hotel itself is tiny and you will be directed to park your car in an unmonitored gravel car park opposite the hotel that is shared by other neighbouring properties and quickly also fills up, with many people having to park their cars on the road. There are noticeable signs of wear and tear around the hotel which are not massive eye sores but they are there. Our first room the hot water was give and take dependant on the time of the day but the second room it was always there. The breakfast choice is pretty good, the food goes out fresh at 7ish and isn’t refreshed so be sure to grab it early as once it’s gone it’s gone. We ate once at the restaurant and it was so so, overpriced and much better and more affordable options in the nearby town of Arbia. Housekeeping is very good and will clean your room every day without being asked. Although one day we came back and our room was filled with flys and mosquitos from where they had opened the window during cleaning. Do not open your windows from 7pm-7am unless you want to be swarmed by mosquitoes they are everywhere in the countryside which is what makes the AC issue so important. There are fridges in the room and you’re given 1 small bottle of still and sparkling water when you arrive. These are not refreshed so even if your stay is 1 night or 7 nights you get just the 2 bottles of water and aren’t allowed to refill them in the hotel apparently. Regarding the staff some are very friendly and happy to help others are very nasty and stand offish. I’ve not had a hotel experience like this before other than staying at low budget hotels where you get what you pay for. However as this hotel is not marketing itself within that space it’s very difficult to understand what’s fuelling these issues. The AC situation feels very much like a cost cutting situation. Centrally controlled by the hotel and doesn’t work properly and staff are very avoidant of talking about other customers complaining about the same issue. The same can be said about the water issue we had it’s very odd for a hotel to not let you use a tap.
This 5 star review is for Victoria, the front desk, and the restaurant staff. My mom was a tourist from the US. I learned the tour guide has failed his/her job miserably because my mother and her friends have been eating cup noodles for dinner every night since they landed in Europe. I made a few international calls from San Diego, CA, USA to the hotel. Victoria and the front desk handled my concern very seriously. They took care of my mother. For that, I deeply appreciated them and for their Italian hospitality. They were very professional and attentive. Who knew I could order from a menu internationally? Victoria, the front desk, and the restaurant staff did. That’s for sure! The restaurant gave my mom a taste of Italy! I’m beyond convinced my mom’s stay at the room was just as good! Thank you once again Victoria and the team for the peace of mind.
We were given an alternative room on the second night because neither the fridge or aircon worked, as well as the shower being so small it was hard to wash properly in it. The alternative room was better, however the TV was much too small and too high up on the wall to be able to view it properly from the bed
Great hotel! Very clean with a lot of extras! Will be back!
Water pressure low in shower
During our recent visit to Siena, we were fortunate enough to discover Precise House Montaperti, a true hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, the staff, particularly the gentleman who checked us in, extended a warm welcome and demonstrated a genuine passion for hospitality. His invaluable local knowledge and the thoughtfully prepared map with suggested destinations enriched our exploration of the area. Our room exceeded expectations with its generous size and impeccable cleanliness. The bed was an absolute highlight, boasting luxurious comfort and ensuring a restful night's sleep after each day of sightseeing. The restaurant further impressed us with its consistently high-quality cuisine, showcasing local flavors and offering a diverse selection at breakfast. Precise House Montaperti provided a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and personalized service, making our stay in Siena truly memorable. We highly recommend this charming establishment to fellow travelers seeking a refined and welcoming haven for their Tuscan adventures.
Great pool, spa facilities. Food and wine first class. Special mention to Hatem- friendly, efficient service.
Clean and decent rooms, but (unfortunately) a (cold) business atmosphere. Seems the hotel is more related to business trips then couples or families on vacation. Breakfast however war very good and Elisa was very friendly. For dinner there was a limited choice in dishes and not very Italian. Kitchen was more oriented to European taste.
We stayed at the hotel for three nights and the room was comfortable and clean. We had a meal in the hotel but although the food was good it took a long time to arrive and we were asked our room number three times during the meal. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Fabulous hotel. All the staff at the hotel and in the restaurant were extremely welcoming and helpful. Made our stay very pleasant indeed. Clean room, comfy bed, fabulous breakfast and peaceful picturesque surroundings. Highly recommend.
Nice big room. They gave me a balcony room. Front desk staff was a little over the top and asked me a lot of personal questions. I had a friend come by for breakfast and they called an asked if he was staying. I was sleeping and he left hours ago so I thought it was weird. I also declined maid service one day and then someone had come into my room and left towels in the bed so that kinda creeped me out. They didn’t leave enough toilet paper. And why leave it on the bed and not make the bed? $5 euros for a big towel to use which is kinda chintzy to charge your guests for a towel when you’re a spa hotel. Pool was very nice and heated to about 90 degrees so like a warm bath. The pool area was noisy though so it ruined the atmosphere. They should install speaker system with relaxing music to help guests relax more. I didn’t use the spa area as there was no jacuzzi only steam room and sauna. Breakfast was pretty good. Blood orange juice which I loved and the coffee was delicious. Wait staff was friendly and fast serving for the coffee: thanks for my waiter for his cheerful attitude and smile during my stay.
Très bien pour deux jours. Personnel très sympathique, lieu agréable et confortable. Je recommande
Do yourself a favor and search for another place. The toilets, the shower, and even the towel rack were broken. The hotel is very far from the center and the view you see in the photos is only from the hotel balcony and not from the rooms. Worst hotel ever in Italy!
Just stayed one day, would have preferred two or three so we can enjoy the area.
we used it for the overnight sleep. nice warm water in the pool
Located very close to Siena..free parking at entrance of city.. good breakfast and peaceful surroundings
I can’t say enough about the amazing helpful, friendly staff. They made our special at so enjoyable. The hotel and surrounding hill sides are just beautiful. The only downside for us is we didn’t rent a car. So it is about a $25 cab ride from train station. There is a bus that goes right by, which we took on the day the drivers went on strike. That’s not the hotels fault at all, but it is difficult to do. The pool area was lovely and the food in the restaurant was delicious. This property is amazing. You will definitely enjoy your stay. We certainly did.
Clean modern room, helpful staff, excellent restaurant and breakfast
The bed was not very comfortable
Pro: Location (close to Siena) Con: Hard bed, Value (It wasn’t worth the price I paid. ex: €15 for 50 min of dry sauna, small pool and gym, mediocre breakfast in an underground ‘cafeteria’ without any character. It felt like being in a cafeteria instead of enjoying breakfast with the view of Tuscany)
We booked a suite for 4 persons. the suite was not in the main building and we needed to climb the stairs with all our luggage. there in no elevator in this building. The room has 2 floors - a parents bedroom above a leaving room and small kitchen.. The hotel opened a sofa bed for the kids, but the mattress was very thin, so they replaced it into 2 more comfortable single beds. Location is 15 minutes drive from Sienna, so a car is a must. Breakfast is OK. Plenty of free parking outside the hotel.
Great hotel and very kind staff
The hotel's lobby was not impressive, however the room was great. It was clean and modern. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The view from our room was a nice plus. The lighting was not perfect as the lights were all at the head of the bed, leaving the rest of the room a bit dim. The breakfast buffet had a large assortment of cold and warm foods. We'd stay there again. It was a good base for exploring the countryside.
If you have car, it is best choice for Siena visiting.
We weren’t there long enough to stay, just spent one night, had breakfast and got going. But we were impressed with cleanliness, very nice breakfast, and customer service of Monica at the front desk.
Staff was very hospitable and helpful. Room was great! Very spacious and clean.
Spa and piscina were absolutely perfect. Wish the hours could have been extended in the evening.
We stayed in the suite and it was very comfortable, quiet and well equip. Staff are very helpful and free parking is available. a 15min drive to Siena which is a wonderful town. No complaints from our side.
Excellent Hotel if you want visit Crete Senese, Val D'Orcia, Montalcino and so on.
Not very nice looking on the outside but the inside was quite nice and well maintained. Internet worked well when the hotel was quite empty but as soon as it filled up in the evening it was not useable. System needs upgrade in a big way. 1-2 hours away from any wineries so not great location for wine country visiting. The rooms weren't ready at 1:45pm when we arrived while check in is 2pm. They were only able to give us our 2 rooms at around 2:10pm and that's one of the worst things you can do to a guest is make them wait after their travels even beyond check in time. Those minutes start to feel like an eternity. Two thumbs up for Andrea at the front desk. He is friendly, professional and quite knowledgable about the area.
Great hotel room. We were upgraded to the suite as we were on our honeymoon and it was great. Very helpful staff on the front desk. Great stay - shame we were only there for one night.
The food was good (we had breakfast everyday and also had a nice dinner one evening). The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean. The pool was nice, but you have to pay extra to use the spa. There was not much gym equipment available.
Recived an upgrade without asking & customer service was very helpful with everything we ask for.
The hotel restaurant was amazing. Great food and price. Great hotel, free parking, modern and clean place. Staff was friendly and spoke good English. They certainly went out of their way to help us.
Good. The hotel is modern and value for money. One bad thing is that you need to have car since the location is quite far away from Siena
The hotel is not in Asciano, but in a place called Arbia, and added an extra 45 mins onto our drive. I booked a comfort room with a deep soaking bath, which after driving for 3 days would be wonderful, and was sent an email from there front desk saying, that because we had a dog we had been given a Junior Apartment with two entrances, one leading out to the garden, Bigger more comfortable room with Kitchenette. When we arrived, the room had a hard bed, no bath, no kitchenette, no cups, kettle, when we asked for these we were given just tea and no milk, so we had to complain again. The second door did not go into the garden, but a pathway that everyone walked past. We went for dinner, about 12 tables, 5 were taken, we sat down and was totally ignored by the staff for 30mins, when we asked why, the head waiter said it was because we just sat down and should have been seated by a member of staff, the food was okay, but very expensive! We went back to the room to go to bed, and the main wall light would not turn off, when we rang, they told us to go to the fuse box on the wall, and click a couple of switches till it went off! After refusing they came and sorted it and blamed it on the cleaners. I know you might think there was a language problem, but my husband is fluent in Italian. This was a poor hotel, and will not stay here again.
It is not at all where you think it is. It is very close to Siena, but in a random town which you can't figure out until you are lost 20 km away. Get directions!!!
Hotel wasn't easy to find when we first arrived due to Sat Nav not recognising Zipcode/Postcode however after a phone call to the hotel the staff member was very helpful and we arrived at the hotel within minutes. On our arrival we were greeted well, shame the bar was shut but it was 11.30 at night and a mini bar was available in our room fridge. The room was clean and had plenty of room and had a cleaner come in everyday who would change towels and bed linen if required. Breakfast was well presented and in good supply and of A+ quality.
Good experience, friendly personal at the frontdesk. Nice Bar-athmosphere. It was a lovely stay -)
The worst part is that in the official homepage of the hotel says G.P.S. Coordinates is N43°18.056’E011°25.375′, this is extremely wrong to take us 25km away from the hotel. The hotel water of the shower came out very slow (about 15 min). There was no electric kettle to make hot water. There was no wifi reception in the room. I couldn't believe this is four-star hotel. I won't be here again.
We spent one night here. The room was adequate, but the air conditioning was weak, to say the least. Breakfast was good.
Excellent staff, great food. The bed was not comfortable, hard mattress, woke up sore.
Nice hotel outside Siena . Need litlle bit renovation.
We stayed at the suit, and explored Siena from there. We had a comfortable stay.
Clean spacious room. Nice swimming pool plus sauna.
Good location easy to reach from the main road, and plenty of parking.
Mold in room, nice staff moved us, and gave us free pool towels and caps, otherwise you have to pay for them. A little pricey... But, a nice, quiet, Tuscan escape to rest and relax along our self-guided tour around Italy.
Has a little difficulty finding the hotel - possibly satnav. The breakfast was very good. The rooms were nice and there was no issues. The swimming pool was small but pleasant, but it was a hassle as you are required to wear a bathing cap! Our room was on the top floor and the roof terrace provided a great view. We ate in the restaurant one evening, as there isn't too many options, and it was really good and good value. There is a bus that stops outside to go into Siena, which was easier than driving and parking. We would be happy to visit again.
good value for the money. modern décor, hard(!) mattress. easy to reach pisa/Florence/siena/monteperti from there. lots of parking (free) restaurant nice, food good, price avg. for hotel restaurant.
It was like they were doing us a service to be there. did not feel like a guest
Good placement for what we wanted to see. Helpful staff in pointing us in right direction. Passage floors very noisy especially at night.
Hotel was very good, only down side was no shower only a bath and the air conditioning didn't work for the first night or so. Some of the guests were a bit rude and took over the pool, but that wasn't the hotel's fault. Restaurant was ok, but there is a cheaper more rustic option not far up the road. But would definitely stay there again if we needed an option near Siena. The pool was great after a long hot day.
Lovely hotel stayed 3 nights for a family wedding in Castle near by
Great hotel for price, location is a bit out of the way but if you have a car it's well worth staying here. Rooms are big and clean, very comfortable and no complaints about the facilities. Would definitely recommend staying here to see Sienna and its surroundings.
Nice hotel, with standard breakfast. I get a very good price in expedia.com, if not I would preferred a hotel closer to Siena. Ididn´t like the toilet door made of glass!!!!! Change them.
Sitting on your balcony over looking the surrounding hills was terrific. The hotel was everything we wanted it to be, quite with great service and amenities, plus a great little local cafe down the Street - I would recommend this hotel all day long - great stay.
Very nice european style hotel. Nice pool. Free breakfast was EXCELLENT!
Great hotel, clean and well maintained, conveniently located close to the autostrada/highway and a 10 minute drive to Siena. Great base for exploring Tuscany.
We were staying on this hotel for 3 nights. Very nice hotel with good rooms ( superior room). The location is good , near chianti road. Very close to Firenze and Siena. The breakfast was disappointed. The staff was nice ( most of them). The price is good ( 78 euro for a night for 2 persons). I will recommended to stay at this hotel.
Driving distance to Siena city center. Clean modern furniture. Quiet neighborhood but no fastfood no supermarket. Aciano is the closest town with facilities. Perfect tuscany country scenics drive, beautiful landscape farm fields. The correct city address is Arbia at border of Casetta off hwy E78 east of Siena.
An excellent hotel with every comfort. Very close to Siena but in a quiet location. Very good breakfast and helpful staff. The hotel is very hard to find if you follow the address given which is Asciano, actually quite far away. The real address is Arbia and you need to use the exit Arbia which is just a couple of km from the hotel.
The front desk staff was very efficient and friendly. The room and bed were comfortable. The hotel is run down with wall paper in the bathroom peeling, bird droppings on the patio, breakfast room a mess, even though the staff was working hard. For all but the summer months there are handicapped children using the pool for one week out of each month. They have the main hours of use of the pool. The pool is extremely warm for them, and is too hot to exercise or swim. The pool area is in bad shape.
Stylish Hotel but not for everyone visiting Siena. It is outside the city by quite a way. We had a car so it was fine. Lovely countryside setting but not much in the area. A good base for touring Tuscany and seemed popular with cyclists for that reason. The hotel has been styled nicely and we had a good room with a mezzanine bedroom, but it could use a coat of paint to freshen it up. It is not the prettiest hotel on the outside. Breakfast was good and staff generally pleasant. However, we found one or two of the reception staff unhelpful when we asked for advice. I am sorry that we don't speak Italian and this might have made things difficult, but the hotel had lots of guests from various non-italian speaking countries and surely reception staff should cope with that? Also, they had run out of bus tickets for sale which seems poor planning given their location. We were told you couldn't pay on the bus. We would have had to drive to the local town to buy a bus ticket so ended up just using the car after all. We had hoped to take a bus to Siena to avoid the worry of parking, but that actually turned out OK anyway. Overall we had a very nice holiday and are maybe being a bit picky about little things, but these might be important to others. The maid service was very good and they were very nice but did not re-stock the mini-bar....perhaps a good thing from our point of view! The facilities of the hotel are ok for a quiet relaxing retreat but hire a car or a bike to get out.
The hotel was nice and comfortable but the rooftop restaurant was more than superb. The meal was amazing and the views were more than memorable. We enjoyed our stay and after a long hot day touring on the motorbike the pool was a nice way to end the day! The staff was very helpful.
The place was tacky, super dirty and completely disorganised. I regret I went there. In ANY case is a 4 stars hotel.
A nice modern hotel in a rural part of Tuscany. A very nice breakfast was included. In general the hotel service was very good, only thing I didn't like was that they wouldn't register us immediately, they held our passports and had us return 10 minutes later - uncomfortable in a foreign country. Our room was very modern, I felt the bathroom was a little dusty and not super clean. Would stay here again.
Overall the hotel was ok, but the bathroom needed some maintenance, the cleaning of the room prior to our arrival was poor, the aircon was ineffective and my partner had problems using her hair appliances as the location of sockets and mirrors had not been well planned.
I will definitely return one day.Great staff and lovely hotel
Neat hotel in tiny village- a great place for us to land for our first nite in country. The only challenge was having 4 of us squished in a room for 3.
The room was very modern. Hard mattresses. Easy to Siena for a visit. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding.
We only stayed here one night on our way south. We arrived late and asked for a late checkout so that we could relax by the pool in the morning before heading out and they were very easy going about it and had no problem with us staying and resting a bit longer. We had dinner at the restaurant when we arrived and were incredibly surprised at how great the food was. We had an asparagus risotto and beef fillet that was cooked perfectly. We saw a table near us who had a special meal, that I think you can order in advance, that looked incredible and they also left very happy. The pool is beautiful and relaxing and is a great spot to unwind. We didn't stay in the neighborhood but it was easy to find and the parking was easy. We were also very surprised at the amount of food at the buffet breakfast. We were late getting there but they let us sit and eat before they put it away and it was much more than what we had at other hotels in Italy. They still have the traditional breads, meats, cheese, yogurt but also had a great scrambled eggs with zucchini and probably other great stuff that we missed since we got there when it was closing. Our only negative comment would be that the hotel seemed rundown, as if it had been updated years ago and nothing had been done since then. But it was very clean and with the staff, food and amount of space, we would definitely stay here again (and spend more time at the pool).
Very nice hotel, very good breakfast. Mini-fridge and pool were nice perks. The staff was very helpful, informative and friendly. The hotel is overall well decorated and modern. The only drawbacks were a very hard bed, thin pillows and a malfunction in the kitchen which caused a smell of smoke coming into our room through the AC (The staff offered to change our room, but when the problem was fixed an hour later the smell subsided and we stayed with the same room).
we loved our stay. this was a real gem in the middle of tuscany. it was centrally located. the rooms were great. there is a beautiful view of the hills from the outside pool deck. the food at the restaurant was delicious and the breakfast was as good as any 5 star hotel we have been to. they even had squeeze your own orange juice and hot breackfast. all included. we will definitely stay again on our next visit to this area.
This hotel was literally a breath of fresh air. Located about 20 minutes by car or bus (runs in front of hotel) outside Sienna, it was a gem. There is a pool and weight room, good breakfast, ample free parking, nice rooms with great views of the countryside. If you want to stay away from the crowds, this is perfect.
A lovely, modern hotel, with excellent quality rooms. A superb breakfast.
A good hotel to high standard but nearly impossible to find (and I speak Italian!). As other reviewers have said, it is a wonderful central place from which to explore Siena, the Chianti etc. but they really must do something about supplying prospective clients with directions.
Beatiful location far from city center but confi very nice.
if you want to sit all day in your room, this is the place for you. the hotel is very nice, the rooms are clean, the food is good, but if you want to travel you will find that the place is quite far from the nearest city (siena).you will have to drive half an hour back and forth.to enjoy the most this location, you must have a car with you. another small tip: if you want to drink coffee in your room, you better bring with you mugs, because there are non of them in the room. there are only one-time- use cups.
Nice hotel and good value for money if you have a car to get to Siena.
Very remote location to Sienna, Italy. Nice property with pool and gym and great breakfast. Long way to train and expensive cab ride.
This hotel is essentially in the middle of nowhere, but is great for the price. We stayed one night. You definitely need a car. We were three adults, and the third "bed" was a pullout armchair that was horribly uncomfortable. Other than that, no complaints. Breakfast was good, parking easy, internet free and functional, staff friendly. If you don't need to stay in an interesting area and want to explore Tuscany by car, this would be a great option.
The hotel is fine, but nothing is around, it is ok if you have a car.
Really nice hotel, enjoyed the pool, sauna, jacuzzi a lot after a long day walking around. There is an excellent restaurant 10 km away towards azerro, best steak ever, ask hotel staff where it is
A strange Hotel but had a comfortable bed and reasonable facilities. No iron available and very strange decor but comfortable for one night
We had a good room and everything looked well maintained but we took some time to find the place as the address was not recognized by the navigation software. Breakfast was ok but staff were too snooty and impolite. I would not go back.
Centrally located in Tuscany near Siena right off the freeway. Excellent staff and service; greeted us with a smile and very helpful with telling us about places to visit in the area. Breakfast was absolutely the best we had among many hotels we stayed in Italy, in addition to standard breakfast items they have freshly squeezed orange juice, ham and cheese and eggs etc. Free wifi, parking, pool and spa are great too. Must have a car if you stay in this hotel as it is not walking distance to anything; which was perfect for us since we wanted to stay in a quit place away from touristy areas with traffic and parking problems but still be able to take day trips to all the best sightseeing spots in Tuscany. The hotel has a very modern design and cool style but unfortunately is showing signs of neglect on maintenance (mostly cosmetic around showers and pool areas) not a big deal considering the price range but just an observation. We would absolutely stay there again.
The hotel staff were very helpful and the location was perfect for us. We were just a few minutes from Siena. the breakfast was great and the capuchino was the best. The room was quiet, neat and clean.
It is not easy to get to this hotel. Our GPS could not find it and we had to call them for assistance. Before going take a look at the directions on their website and if you want to use your GPS find the hotel latitude/longitude. When we were there the hotel was under renovations so the hall and common areas were a little dusty. The staff is very friendly and they speak good English. The breakfast is good. The dining area is large and well lit. The room is large but the furniture quality is not the best. It looks better in the pictures.
We loved this hotel!!! Came over from the US and did not know what to expect. We had a blast and loved the hotel! The staff, and especially Erny the bartender, were great! Would stay here again...no question!
Located 15 min driving from the city walls of Siena, but easy to find. Must have a car. There's a excellent coffee break, the best I saw during my trip in Italy. From the balcony you can enjoy the tuscan landscapes. Overall the price is very reasonable. Recomended.
This is a great hotel at a great bargain - don't think twice about staying there. Tip: make sure you get the address from the hotel website: Alternative address for GPS: Via dei Guelfi 3 - Castelnuovo Berardenga - Siena
staff was great. we had 3 in a room and it was not worth the extra money we paid. they just had a very small uncomfortable fold out for the 3rd person to sleep on and there was very little room for 3 people plus luggage to fit in that room and still move around.
Christiana and Nico (hotel staff) went above and beyond to help us in our travels. The entire staff was courteous and very helpfull. The stay at the hotel was amazing and the views of the countryside outside the hotel were breath taking. All A + ratings for the entire experience.
The location was hard to find and you could not find any restaurants in the near. The hotel restaurant was indoor and not very exciting and also expensive. The closest little village had no restaurants, pizza bars, trattories. There was a supermarket 10 min. drive from the hotel.
We enjoyed our stay at the Montaperti Hotel. Very close to Siena about 10-15 min drive. Located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Especially enjoyed the pool during the hot afternoons in Siena.
