A group of us went 29th August for two weeks and will definitely be going back. I can’t comment on food as I’m a fussy eater but nobody complained and my 11 year old loved trying new things I stuck to salad chips and watermelon. The staff were brilliant locked myself out a few times but the lady at the desk helped every time in a friendly manner I was worried about annoying her. On site they have a tattoo place he’s brilliant a few of us got one as a memory and henna for kids which my daughter loved. I highly recommend the spa they are brilliant a few of us went in more than once. The animation team were great always trying to include everyone we had an amazing time with them and the pool foam party loved it. There’s a photographer he’s lovely and good at what he does he even sent me some I didn’t pay for when I got home thank you so much. Saleem was a great help with day trips he became a friend he won’t let anyone rip you off either lovely man. All in all we had the best holiday at this hotel thank you so much we will be back soon
I would like to write a few lines about our stay at your hotel. We really liked the rooms, the food was also very good, the pool was pleasant, and the garden around the hotel was beautifully maintained. However, I would also like to mention some negative aspects that made our vacation less enjoyable. The staff at the lobby bar were very unpleasant and unhelpful. We also witnessed what seemed to be the hotel manager speaking to the hotel employees or the animation team. I speak a little Arabic, and his behavior was very rude and unprofessional. When he walked past us, he didn’t even greet us — something we truly did not expect from the hotel management. I would like to say that we had a pleasant stay mainly thanks to the animation team, who took care of us and entertained us — especially Luca and Rayen a very kind and helpful persons. We would also like to sincerely thank Helmi, an excellent bartender and a cheerful person, and Sonya at the reception, who was very kind and accommodating! All the more, we are sorry that we witnessed such behavior towards the staff from the hotel management. Best regards
Female travellers of ANY age - Please beware of the Animation team at this hotel. They are so friendly and lure you in. They ask to exchange details and keep in touch. They say they want relationships with you but they are scamming multiple girls who end up sending them money after their holiday. I have uncovered this in the last 3 months. Note I have not sent money to anyone but have evidence of this happening. They are all doing this and they all know each other are doing it. I had a lovely holiday in Tunisia it is a beautiful country with lots of beautiful people but this is what is going on in this hotel with Animation!
* Beware of positive reviews staff take photos with you and then ask to post a positive review so they can get a pay rise. * The hotel doesn't deserve a 4-star rating. * Love Holidays doesn't have a representative, despite claims from MTS transfers. A guy came to the hotel saying he was from love holidays pushing trips and excursions. * Management was unhelpful and walked away from complaints, when showed photograph evidence then asked for the pictures to be deleted. * It took 5 hours to check in, when we requested via email prior for early check in. * The rooms were not like the pictures when the holiday was booked. * WiFi is only available in the lobby or bar area. People was sat outside rooms on chairs using phones. * The hotel was emailed prior to arrival to request a cot, connecting room, and early check-in, which was agreed and confirmed and was not received when we arrived. * Upon arrival at 11:30 am, four different rooms were shown, all of which had not been cleaned. * The top floor was unsuitable for a 2-year-old due to a low balcony, was not a connecting room, and was filthy. * The ground floor room was appalling and filthy and clearly had not been cleaned for a long time. * The rooms first offered were split between the top floor and the ground floor and the floors was soaking wet. * There was rust all over the shower and mirror. * The fridge was dirty and broken. * There was black mold in the bathroom and a black, dirty shower curtain. * Complaints to the hotel management were ignored it was difficult to see the actual manager of the hotel. * We was shown several unacceptable and filthy rooms were shown upon arrival. * The ground floor room was filthy and hadn't been cleaned in a long time. * Only 2 rooms were provided to our party of 10 after 5 hours, despite booking 3. * The first cot arrived on the 3rd night and was not safe. The next day at 10pm we received another cot which was also unsafe and not a suitable height for the age of the child. * The baby fell out of the cot and had to be taken to the medical center bust her lip and nose. * Male entertainment team members made sexual advances to young teenage girls. We made complaints and the staff are still working. * Staff from fruit stand constantly trying to kiss young baby and pull her out of her pram while she was strapped in after being told multiple times no and took pictures of her. * Staff members drink on the job. * One animation team member was sacked for being drunk and face planted to floor infront of my teenage children. * There's a high turnover of animation team members, 1st week was full of activities 2nd week went downhill due to lack of animation staff. * Cockroaches were found dead in the swimming pool. * Our party experienced stomach upsets. * The swimming pools are not cleaned properly and were cloudy. * There was poo in the pool on the first day. * The rooms were still not up to standard we just had to make do with no help from love holidays. * The dining room is chaotic, with pushing and shoving for unappealing food. * There were incidents of Algerian men fighting with waiter staff in front of children in the middle of dining hall. Staff let them stay and finish the meal. * Algerians receive preferential treatment over English guests. * The hotel is full of young Algerian men preying on young females and starting fights with young lads. * Children were targeted in the pool, pushing and shoving young children under water, lifeguard on duty didn't care to get involved after complaining to them. * Toilets downstairs are unsafe, with children getting locked inside staff took ages to help them get out of the toilets. * The toilets are disgusting, filthy, and have cockroaches falling from the ceiling. * The hotel does not accept cards and directs guests to take a taxi to a cash machine. Exchange in the hotel never had any money to change and told to come back later. * Only a handful of staff members are helpful. *Beach is not as advertised and the shuttle hardly works the walk to the beach is derelict and stinks of sewers. Still awaiting a response from complaints to love holidays.

If your looking to stay here… DONT. It will ruin your experience of Tunisia. My family save up all year for a nice holiday for us all and it’s appalling for what we’ve had to spend a week of. The foods ok until it isnt and it’s the same horrible stuff only so much you can live off. The drinks round the bar out of the machine are never working ( that’s after you’ve waited 20 mins to get served because the bar tender has decided to take a break whenever they like ) , and when they do have drinks it’s out of a bottle which has been open all day and flat. There is absolutely no entertainment whatsoever and when they try rob you into booking there excursions do not do them. Half of the things you’ve paid for don’t actually happen. The hotel is rotten dirty, none of the towels are clean with stains all over them; the pool area looks like it’s never seen a clean in its life let alone the rest of the hotel. Any time you had a shower it flooded our hotel room due to holes in the bath. The place is infested with flies. If you was to stay in a genuine 5 star I think your experience of Tunisia would genuinely be a lot more better. The last couple days we ate out and experience Tunisia which made us enjoy our holiday a little bit more. But when you go into the shops the men try scam you so bad so just be aware everyone’s in on it. I will never be visiting Tunisia again let alone come back to this hotel. I’ve been I’ll ever since I got here and I genuinely think that’s down to the cleanliness of this hell hole. Hotel horror. So if you have this booked and think oh she’s just being a ‘karen’ I am certainly not I’ve been to a few places that need to be run a bit better need a little improving but, I’ve never been to such a poorly run hotel in my entire life. Oh and by the way if you want a cushion to lie down on your cracked dirty Sunbed you have to go get it yourself even though there’s pool men there to do that job for you they sit and watch you struggle. This hotel was a complete waste of money and I am so so disappointed. Oh and how could I forget do not book the spa!!! It is absolutely filthy and one thing they love doing here is time wasting you pay all that money for a quick in and out massage but they leave you waiting for hour and make that part of your time. An absolute state of a hotel I will never be returning. The only positive thing is your animation team.
We had read the bad reviews , but we decided to go with it. As some people write unfair reviews. We arrived at 4 am after a long delay. There was no water or a snack. Wasn’t even showed to our room. Charged £85 in room tax. Which was the first time of many we were scammed. The room was large and pleasant enough. Until we wanted a shower. Then the whole room flooded. I blamed my daughter. But then realised it was coming up from the floor. No one seems to care less. The inside areas are clean enough. And the food is ok. We didn’t starve. But repetitive. Bar service was shocking. Sometimes waiting 20 mins for someone to show up. I get it is late in the season. But we still are paying guests !! The pool area is just filthy. As are the toilets. And we never actually worked out how to get to the beach. The bar was shut there. We walked down but it was empty and we felt very uncomfortable. We were sold a spa day. £65 , 250 dinar. It was disgustingly dirty. Felt very awkward. Just left for large amounts of time. Ended up with a 20 min massage. Not even offered the pool. At the Médina men are there waiting to say they are the cook from your hotel. And they will offer to take you to their family shop. Where they will try to sell you things for 400 times more than they are. Apparently it’s Black Friday !! When you refuse they say you are rude. Dare not even look at an item in a shop without being seriously harrassed. I think there are a lot nicer hotels for the same money. Definitely if you can , go for 5 stars. It was a good price holiday for me and my children. I am a single mum who works 3 jobs for us to afford to go on holiday. But I can honestly say I would not return to this hotel.
Good looking hotel. No enterteinment in September, which was dissapointing, but the spa session was great. I recommend that. A lot of extra amazing activities. Had some small issues with the room, but sorted after talking at the reception. Food not so great.
The hotel is dirty , our bathroom had a hole in the floor so whenever we showered water came up through the hole and flooded our bathroom and we couldn’t even take a bath since there was a hole in it . There was no proper entertainment as we were told there was going to be , the sun loungers were dirty and had cracks in them. I was took up to the slides and the slides weren’t even running and I was told to wait up there , I was waiting for ages and they tried splitting up me and my family im unsure of why but it gave me a very uneasy feeling and I was very uncomfortable. We payed quite a bit of money for 4 of us to have a spa day here and it was very dirty with peoples dead skin on the bed they expected us to lay on and they was time waisting a lot. There was also supposed to be a night club in the hotel but was closed the whole time we were here and my mum was given a glass of wine and there was chunk missing out of the glass and she then cut her lip on it, overall the experience we had at this hotel was disgusting and it is not worth coming here.
Our review has been based on our entire stay. Firstly start with the good the entertainment boys WOW you all work so hard and made sure you had the whole crowd involved and everyday worked long days. Secondly the amazing 3 day spa treatments we booked they couldn’t have done a better job for the price. The cleaners and staff work so hard but sadly for us the one thing that has let the place down is the food area the tables were filthy and thankfully I took antibacterial wipes to clean our area each time. Flies everywhere due to the hygiene of the food area in doors and out. Food was all inclusive and I’ve had worse so can’t complain. And the alcohol did the job.
Struttura accogliente. Secondo me da migliore nel parcheggio auto. Ci sono state troppe richieste e i parcheggi auto molto pochi.
This has probably been one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The toilets by the pool are disgusting - bar staff are quite rude unless you tip them. The food is horrific. The fridge in the room was leaking, ants on the floor. People serving the food are so rude. Overall I don’t think I have ever seen such a state of a hotel in all honesty. The star rating is definitely not a 3 star, a 2 star at a push. The pool was dirty, all in all everything was disgusting and I would not recommend at all.
Just back from 1 week all inclusive with friends. My first impression from check in was very disappointed as they didn't have rooms and had to wait 5 hours. Staff very rude and no one wanted to help us. Kept sending us to bar for drinks to keep us happy. As we were going around the hotel we had noticed it was very dirty & unkept looking. Cleaning standards not as high as should expect from a 4 star. Corridors had no lighting and very bad smell coming from the carpets. Staircases was dirty and spillages on them. (Health & safety) no wet floor signs to be seen. Finally got rooms which were very dated & no air conditioning, broken hair dryer etc. 😬 was just glad to have had got out of clothes & unpacked. At meal times the place was like a zoo 🫣 people just pushing past to get to the food. Not enough plates or cutlery for everyone. (Total shambles) rude people & staff didn't understand our language. Public toilets only 6 for full hotel was a absolute joke. Toilets were disgusting 🫣 poo & urine everywhere 😑 had to use my room Toilet most of the week. Pool area had never been cleaned as was all fag's end & dirty nappies etc all round floor. Sun loungers not cleaned had to do it myself. Not a cleaner in sight. Shocking standards. Drinks weren't poured from a bottle not even cold. Water either. In tat heat 🥵 no ice etc. Had to pay from shop for cold water & drinks. Unacceptable!! My friend had a accident on the slides and no one had a first aid kit 😐 waited 24 hrs for a bandage. Total shambles 😫 Animation team were excellent 👌 Adam, Wullie,Luka. Made our holiday. Very friendly & made us feel better so we had a great time, Some good laughs with the team. Thank you guys 😊 🫶😉 Please boycot this hotel. I will never return.
Just back from one week stay in this hostel !! This hotel was very disappointing from the start. Our booking wasn’t on their system, and it took over 4 hours before we were finally given a room. The hotel itself feels extremely dated – the hallways are dark and unwelcoming, almost like something out of a horror film. One of my group had a bad accident on the slides not one staff member offered 1st aid. Had to wait 24 hours for a 1st aid kit. And had to wait till we were home to be seen at the hospital total joke. The restaurant was overcrowded and poorly managed, with not enough tables, plates, or staff. We often felt ignored when trying to get food or help, almost as if we weren’t there. If you’re not dressed in the way many other guests are, you may find yourself treated differently, which made the stay very uncomfortable. The pool area is never cleaned all week never seen one cleaner. The fag ends left around the pool no bins either sun loungers where never cleaned had to do them your self . Was that bad I binned my towels The toilets were also very unkept and not cleaned to a standard you’d expect from any hotel. The only positive part of the stay was the entertainment especially Luca, Willy, Adam and bar team, who were genuinely friendly and welcoming.one barman can be a little creepy goes by the name of Mo seems to thinks he’s god gift to young girls !! If it wasn’t for the animation team I would have cut my holiday short and returned home Unfortunately, everything else was a let-down. I would not recommend this hotel at all – in my opinion, it’s more like a -1 star experience. This hotel has put me off to ever return to Tunisia!!! Managers should be a shamed of them self
Entertainment team are absolutely brilliant on all levels the kids love them the adults love them but Adam my curly haired brown eyed boy I love ❤️
only good staff that was there will be down below, the one who’s not on there will know exactly know why he’s not on there..
The entertainment team were amazing specially Adam and mino, very caring chatty and entertaining and also very encouraging to join in with activities, truly are the best.
Good cocktail guy called mo (Muhammad). Very friendly always smiling, always go above and beyond we stayed here 5th September 2025 and still here till 15th September.
Definitely not 4 star. Run down, very dirty, poo in the pool which they picked out by a net but did not clean the pool. The dining room was disgusting, dirty tables, chairs,no clean cutlery, dirty plates, cockcroach crawled up my daughters leg in the dining room. All inclusive was very limited and the hotel ran out of beer on draught, paper cups, broken rimmed glasses no ice and bottled water was warm. Entertai ment staff were taking people's phones take there picture and then writing their own 5 star reviews which is fraud. Advertised with a swim up bar but it is not. We were a party of 11 and everyone in the hotel complained about the cleanliness, staff, food etc. In its day it would have been a lovely hotel as the decor is nice but very run down, neglected and extremely dirty. We went out to eat due to the unclean conditions. Booked through love holidays who basically refunded everyone who complained including the other people in our party of 11. When we complained they did not want to know and the hotel told them we had been upgraded to a sea view no no no. Front of hotel view looking out onto the drive way.
If I could award minus stars I would!! Avoid with British children at all costs! my 5 year old was pushed and shoved daily, not welcome if your British/do not wear a hijab or niqab your child will be physically pushed and moved daily (at the restaurant! It’s like feeding time at the zoo for extremely dire food. We had gastric issues twice during a 10 day stay, the only 2 times we ate in at teatime The hotel is in a complete state, extremely unclean, one downstairs indoor toilet ( the only one available) that is constantly flooded with human excrement and urine, mould covers most of the vents in the rooms and during our 10 day stay (we’re on day 10) the pool side & sunbeds have not been cleaned once, despite multiple complaints. Bar staff and reception staff are extremely rude, Sonia the manager is polite however will not adress major concerns and disappeared everyday I reported assault. Lifeguards daily attempt to kiss my 5 year old daughter on the lips despite being told no multiple times a day. One was seen to be taking selfies with my children, after being told no to kissing them and no to pictures. The restaurant is unsanitary and you’ll physically need to battle for cuttlery, however this is bought to your table if your not the minority; same goes for drink ware, all British/white people here drink from either their own containers or cardboard shot glasses (no larger options) and all other cultures get glassware and table service Discarded cigarettes all over the hotel and in the lobby/bar where smoking is permitted inside (permitted inside throughout) but nobody bothers with ashtrays. Dirty earbuds, sanitary products and used toilet roll can be found strewn around the hotel. You cannot use the indoor pool, All entertainment in the games room is broken. Daytime entertainment is none existent apart from the foam party (again Barged so much with my 5 year old we had to leave) even when reported to the life guards that it was unsafe. Lifeguards regularly disappear for 20 mins to smoke with no replacement meaning I myself pulled 3 non swimmers out of the deep end whilst fully clothed. I’m not naive to Tunisian culture or the country and returned because we have loved all the other visits to different cities but we have been left with a terrified 5 year old that doesn’t want to leave the room. A 9 year old that doesn’t want to return to the country and a 15 year old that has stayed in the room for 6 out of the day days. Especially avoid booking with L*** holidays as they told me to enjoy my day and to send an email to report the assaults of my child and refused to relocate me. All in all I paid thousands to be stuck in hell with 3 extremely scared children. With 0 help, if you do come with young children please do NOT let them out of your sight and be aware that the hotel is open to the public for a minimal day rate so you cannot report any of these guests. Hammamet it’s self is a beautiful place but I personally would advise against leaving your complex if you have a young child, especially female with blonde hair as you gain constant unwanted physical contact and the language barrier means it can become extremely difficult to maintain boundaries. Wouldn’t return to this hotel if it was free and I was paid millions to come, most horrific experience.
I visited this hotel last year for my 30th birthday and it was absolutely horrendous. It’s taken me this long to want to leave a review because I didn’t even want to think about it. Food was awful. Hotel itself was an absolute mess. A desolate hole not worth visiting. Live wires in the pool. Vomit left on the corridors of the hotel. No carpets in the hallways. I could go on and on. Please DON’T BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!! I cried every night wanting to leave and ran back to the coach when it was time to go back to the airport.
The hotel is very pretty and looks fancy. The entertainment is very good for children and adults. The rooms are welcoming. Saleem Waila and Mo on cocktail bar. There are also 2 water slides around the back.
Most of the staff are lovely, professional and hard working, they always welcome you with a smile and make sure you have everything you need. The only two members of staff I had an issue with was the man on reception, he is extremely rude, unprofessional and very dismissive. Just avoid him if you can! The other member of staff was a lifeguard who I had to shout at as I witnessed him pulling a female member of staff by the arm and pushing her around. He laughed in my face and other male members of staff said he was just joking around. I had to tell him that this is not how you treat women and to leave her alone. All the children stood around me were very scared of him. The room is very dated and everything seems to be falling apart but it is kept clean. The cleaners work hard and change your room every day which I think was over the top. We just asked for fresh towels and water. The bed was rock hard so I didn't have a single full night sleep, my ribs still hurt, however the two single beds were fine for the children. there was mould around the bath and we just used the shower as the jets on the bath didn't look like they had been cleaned for a few years. Everything was rusty and old in the bathroom. Paintwork is done to low standard and it just looks old. I didnt mind the decor, it just looked badly kept. We always avoided the downstairs toilets by the dining hall as it always stunk of faeces. People weren't using tissue, and just cleaning with the sprayer, which just soaked all the floors all the time. On the final day we had to use the loo to change as it was a late flight, and I had to hold my breath it was so so bad. Around the pool always stunk of the same foul smell. There are 4 pools, the main pool is a nice size but often overcrowded, the pool with the flumes is quite dangerous but it's ok if you want to go for a swim in the shade. there is a baby pool that is clearly never cleaned, and an indoor pool that looked like it was permanently closed. Didn't struggle getting a sunbed most afternoons but people did put towels down and then leave for the day. The food and dining experience was the worst part of the holiday. All 4 of us have had the trotters all week. The food is so so bad, I ended up just having fried eggs for breakfast with a roll and a chip butty for tea as that is the only edible food that was there. They serve the meat with all the bones still in there, i'm surprised noone choked on a bone. It is the same food EVERY SINGLE DAY and it is always overcooked, dry, and no meat!! Everything is served on the bone with couscous or some form of pasta. The only thing my children actually liked was the chips and ice cream. They tried everything, they always do wherever we go, but it was all just nasty. One woman said she went to a restaurant and the food was just as bad. Another woman went somewhere else and spent over 400 dinar for a meal. After an intimidating walk around the old medina with my son, we decided to stay in the hotel, bear it, and look forward to a nice steak when we get back from somewhere we know will cook your food. There is no thought to health and safety In Tunisia, their standards of living are very very poor, so this 4* rating is more like a 1* in the UK, although they probably wouldn't pass food hygiene or safety checks. There were broken tiles everywhere, the decking area to the outdoor pool buckled and for 2 days I saw over 20 people trip and fall over it with handfuls of drinks before they 'fixed' it. Everything is shoddily fixed, never replaced or made better. Locals are left to ruin furniture and they are very rude and disrespectful. They barge into you or if you're speaking with staff, they will push in front to be seen to, but they are not told to wait. The dining room is like feeding time at a zoo, they don't wait their turn and think they should be served first. You look around and just see them chowing on chicken carcasses and it puts you off eating Be careful when going out and about, especially the old medina as you will be lured into buying things from shops. Always agree a price with taxi drivers as they will try and overcharge! It should cost 10 dinar to carthageland/old medina and we paid 120 dinar to and from the airport for 4 of us. You are lucky if you have seatbelts or window winders in the taxi. The taxi we used yesterday had 998,000 km on the clock!! All lights lit up on the dash There was a man that fooled me into thinking he was a chef at the Hammamet garden, but he had recognised the wrist band I was wearing and I was lured into the back of his brother's shop in the old medina. We ended up not going to the places we had intended for the day and just wanted to go back to the hotel. It was awful, he was very forceful for me to buy, he haggled me from 240 dinar down to 100 for a gold plated necklace, which I didn't even want, and got very agressive when I didn't part with my money. Do not pay by card in these shops as a man in the hotel had 580 pounds taken from his credit card. The beach was quite nice, it is just sea and sand, didn't see any watersports etc on. The walk there was awful though as you have to walk through a building site, then through what I can only describe as really bad sewerage smell. It's all the way to the beach. The sand is very soft and we had a lovely swim All in all, we had the worst family holiday we have ever had, we are all ill, and very happy to be back in our beds this morning. I will never go back to Tunisia. Thank you to all the lovely staff for being so welcoming, it is just a shame that so many guests treat the hotel so badly it is in dis-repair. I am so pleased we only went for a week!
We only lasted two hours at this hotel before deciding to pay out of pocket to move elsewhere — that’s how unacceptable the conditions were. Unfortunately, Love Holidays were no help whatsoever during this process, which added to the overall frustration. Check-in was a complete mess. The staff were dealing with multiple guests at once, constantly starting and stopping, with no structure or sense of order. We arrived just after midday and were told to have lunch while the room was being prepared — fair enough, we thought, especially after travelling since 4:30am. However, lunch was appalling. The buffet area was swarming with flies, and basic hygiene was non-existent. The same serving utensils were being used across meat, fish, and vegetables, which is completely unacceptable — especially for vegetarians like myself. Even worse, due to a lack of clean cutlery, plates, and glasses, guests were using their hands to serve themselves. While I understand the hotel can’t control every guest’s behavior, they can ensure there are enough clean serving tools to avoid this. We managed to find a table outside, but it was filthy, and we never saw a single staff member clearing tables — which explains the fly infestation. At this point, we were already uncomfortable, but still hopeful the room would be decent. Reception told us to “come back in 30 minutes,” multiple times. Why not just be honest and say the room won’t be ready until 2pm? We would have gladly waited with our pool gear instead of being sent back and forth unnecessarily — only to find there were no sun loungers available anyway. Finally, at 1:30pm, we were told our room was ready. What we were taken to was not acceptable by any standard. The bed was unmade, the room was unclean, and the mattress had visible stains that turned my stomach. The overall state of the room was shocking, and the lack of basic cleanliness and maintenance made it clear we could not stay there. Without hesitation, my husband got online (when the unreliable Wi-Fi allowed it) and booked an alternative hotel. This was a terrible start to our holiday and a complete waste of money. I expect better — from both the hotel and from Love Holidays, who offered no assistance when we needed it most.
Not a four star hotel, the dining staff were the best people who worked there and the one of the only positives. Pools good fun when grown local men aren’t attacking young British boys (like 15 year old) or fight beside the pool which the lifeguards just watch and do nothing. Human waste blocking the toilets especially the ones next to dining room and pool area plus watered down drinks. Staff falling you around everywhere to book extra activities, some of the hotel area is pretty like the entrance and the reception. The shop and the man who runs it was amazing. The food was nice if you picked the right stuff for tourists but of course that’s to be expected. Just got to find the funny moments which the entertainment was funny but most was just karaoke and staff running around dancing with a can of deodorant and a light but tbf that was funny. Staff at the entertainment at night are great and will bring you the drinks you pay for and want brought over. The architecture of the outside building and sitting on the balcony at night is stunning as well but the rooms seem more like a motel room with mould and old showers. You get what you pay for but I feel the the advertising for the hotel was off by saying it’s a four star when it’s more of a three star which faulty plumbing so that alone is a health issue.
good hotel we like the weather.beautiful pool and entertainment team they are amazing specially (adam, willy) thanks we will come back ❤️
Adam and willy from the entertainment team. Where very energetic and fun to be around. Always getting the crowd involved and up dancing. And very very good syncronised choreography and dancing!!
Entertainment team are fantastic! The whole place is lovely and already booked to come back. Pool is lovely and cold and the beer doesn't stop
Absolutely amazing place. Staff are so lovely and helpful. Entertainment is amazing and they look after you very well. Will definitely be coming back!!
I like tunisia it's my favorite holiday everyone her it's friendly and working hard especially the bar staff is friendly and my favorite is mouhamed working in the bar cocktail it's amazing he making her job special is the bar man if we have chance I will back her
Entertainment was fantastic Adam is very friendly the shows were different every night and included the guests as much as possible. the entertainment staff were exceptional, even during the day they talked to guests and encouraged us to join in on fun events.
i had a very bad experience here, the hotel room showers are shocking and the cleanliness is poor. there was black mould in the shower and the towels never got cleaned when they gave us new ones they had stains on them as well as the bed sheets. the coctails never had alcohol in them and we saw the bartender pouring water into the vodka every once and a while making us pay for drinks with little to no alcohol in them. the bartender with his hair swept to the side asked my friend to go back to his house with her to sleep with her and wouldn’t leave her alone for the entire holiday, we spoke to another group of girls and they said the same bartender was harassing them at the bar asking for their phone numbers and asking to meet them outside of the hotel.
I enjoyed the trip it was a nice refreshment from being in England and the servers are wonderful people and it was lovely to meet everyone and to enjoy the experience and the man at the cocktail bar is lovely to talk to
Spent 1 week here and before going i was very apprehensive because of the negative reviews. Yes areas of the hotel are a bit dated but we had a lovely 2 bedroom pool view room with 2 patios, rooms were cleaned daily and air-conditioning did its job. Loved the pool area, plenty of sunbeds and always had a man cleaning pool each morning and people generally tidying all around the hotel. Slides were great fun too! Food there was a large variety and I understand comments regarding not much for children but my 2 managed fine, just need to try different things. All in all we had a lovely time here and staff were all extremely helpful and friendly.
We've just returned from a week at the Hammamet Garden Resort and Spa. Here is our honest review starting with the positives: 1. The pool is clean 2. A barman that serves at the inside bar (an older gentlemen) is friendly and helpful. 3. The reception area is clean and spacious 4. The entertainment staff are friendly and we enjoyed the evening shows Now the negatives: 1. On the day of arrival, my husband was electrocuted by the fridge in our room. We informed staff and they seemed completely nonchalant about it. It took 2 further complaints for us to get someone to come and look at the fridge and they simply plugged it back in. We complained again and someone came and removed it. No apology offered. 2. We kept getting power cuts in our room which we later realised was due to a faulty plug. Staff were not interested at reception and no one came to look/fix the plug. 3. The room was dirty and moldy. The taps, bath, shower curtain and shower were FILTHY. 4. The toliet was leaking continuously onto the floor. We complained multiple times and no one came to look at it. On the last occasion that I went to the reception area I said that this was the 4th time I had mentioned it to them in 1 day and the receptionist simply stated "ok, what's the problem". 5. The downstairs hallway leading to the restaurant is extremely smelly. We later discovered that this was because the downstairs toilets were filthy. Pee and excrement were regularly splattered over the toliet seats and floor. Toliet paper was also all over the floor. 6. The food was repetitive. Staff serving the food were generally rude and unfriendly. 7. We were inclusive and were very disappointed with the drinks. They are served in small paper cups (including beer, soft drinks and some cocktails). They only give you 1 drink at a time so, my husband would have to visit the bar at least 5 times before he had consumed a pint of beer. 8. The coctails were disgusting and, the barman at the cocktail bar generally only serves 1 person at a time before disappearing for ages and leaving a large queue for over 20 mins before returning and the cycle starts again. 9. The majority of the barman are unfriendly and rude, especially to women and children. The only exception is the older gentleman that works at the inside bar (the other man that works at the same bar is really rude and 1 arabic customer actually threatened to punch him in the face due to his attitude). 10. The drains situated within the outside restaurant area are full of rubbish and hair. It is really unpleasant trying to eat your meal when this is clearly visible. 11. The plates within the restaurant are often dirty. The tables are generally sticky and covered with food. 12. The snacks provided between lunch and dinner are poor. Pizza, donuts or crepes thats it. The queues are large and they refuse to give you more than 4 of each thing ie 4 small donuts (we were a family a five). The solution to this would be for both my husband and I to queue but 1 of us needed to watch the children in the pool. Also the queues are huge (i waited 45 mins one day). The staff at these huts are also extremely rude. 13. The outside toliets are dirty and often flooded 14. Although the restaurant is buffet style, some of the items, such as chicken nuggets and ice cream, are handed out by staff. They only want to provide 2 nuggets or 1 tub of.ice cream at a time, and it becomes an argument if you want more. 15. The water coming out if the shower is very smelly. The hot water is also intermittent 16. The cleaners are useless. They dont change towels/ give toliet paper unless requested. So if your out when they come you dont get either! 17. They dont provide sheets on all the beds. I continually asked for a sheet for my bed and never received it. By day 5 I gave up asking. Of the 4 other English families staying at the hotel that we spoke too, all were disgusted with the hotels cleanliness and all said they were looking forward to going home! In general, I would say this is a 2 star hotel at best. The staff are rude, take no notice of complaints and have no regard for basic health and safety. The hotel is dirty, smelly and disgusting. Please dont book this hotel.
Hotel requires updating however clean enough our room was clean thanks to the daily housekeepers, toilet doesn’t flush well and hairdryer is awful falls to bits in your hands Reception staff excellent very helpful Shop owner lovely, however no prices on any products so can vary from day to day Waiters average apart from Ahmed and an elderly man who were very attentive to us and took pride in their work , very well mannered. Food well soup was lovely , daily, choice for everyone , however other guests push you out the way, like vulchers loading up their plates Sunbeds you need to be up at 6 am to get a good spot, always got a bed though just not in good condition Entertainment well during the day not alot tbh, bowls or darts really! At night the kids disco was the same routine and songs every night Entertainers go around the guests and ask them to get them drinks, one got sacked for being so badly drunk The entertainers like to sit and drink and smoke with guests even the boss, not really role models for kids. If you’re plying them with drink they are your best friends. New entertainer Adam extremely poor attitude, full of himself but absolutely awful with the kids prefers the adults . He picks what kids he allows to join activities, and doesn’t stop blowing his whistle. If you wish your kids to be entertained by drunks then this us the place Mouse was battered to death by a brush in the hallway by maintenance staff, in front of guests Other than that weather was perfect Exchange of money was terrible as the exchanger never had any to exchange always come back 2 hours or tmw not great
I like the hotel becuse stuff is friendly and working hard, especially Mohamed working in bar cocktail. If I have a chance ill be back again
I really liked the hotel, the staff was great and very good organized and ensured I was welcomed.Especially Mohammed from Cocktail bar.Cleaning was very good.
The hotel rooms are pretty basic and we had concerns before arriving after reading other reviews but the hotel was ok. There was always a wide variety of fresh foods and some cooked to order. The staff around the hotel are so friendly and will help with all your needs. The best part of this holiday was the animation team, there are a variety of activities running each day and the team go out their way to make sure you make the most of your holiday 💃🏼
Cocktail bar is very nice, Mo (one of the bar staffs) was especially good at making cocktails and presentation was very amazing
its a really nice hotel, its really fun the pool ,food and animation is good and all the animation team are so lovely especially willy
Team absolutely amazing Each and everyone off them wily especially absolutely fabulous great holiday sad to be leaving
This hotel are terrible, rooms really dirty, bed sheets not clean, all the toilets dirty, I did a check to my room yesterday with my family all the bed sheets dirty, some beds even with sand on it. I had to ask them to clean and change, toilets are horrible. Food not good, not proper food for kids. Do not come to this hotel, very disappointed.
Very happy with our 1 week stay at this hotel, lovely size room joined with another room so our family of 5 had 2 balcony’s with pool view, towels and bedding changed frequently. Staff always helpful and friendly. Plenty of choice of food and restaurant kept clean and tables reset quickly after use. Have booked to go back next year for 2 weeks. Can’t fault the hotel for its price.
Terrible, outdated rooms with separate mouldy toilets that doesn’t flush properly. Cannot rate this hotel as 4 star, definitely 1 star. We were shocked first we show the rooms to see how horrible it looked. We arrived at the hotel around 11pm after a long journey we were given cold dinner to eat in our rooms. The mattress was hard and had filthy bedding and towels. We had to pay for safety deposit box and the key didn’t match the box either. The fridge has cracks and holes inside, there was no kettle in the rooms and I have to go downstairs for hot water.
Absolutely disgusting filthy unhygienic hotel i have ever stayed at .The communal toilets were filthy hardly cleaned the whole week. The pool side toilets were flooded dirty no toilet rolls ,beyond words. All five of us came back home with bacterial infections ,stomach cramps ,my son ended up at accident and emergency .The restaurants was like feeding times at the zoo,the staff were rude ,we had to get our own cutlery every meal time ,thats if a plate was available . The restaurant was rammed with people of all nationalities pushing and shoving.. Coffee machines turned off at lunch , beyond words ..The entertainment team ,life gaurds were amazing .The pool areas were never cleaned ,we even saw a staff member fish bowel movements out the pool and just carry on as nothing had happened, The staff in general were not happy in there work and this clearly came over to the customers..The restaurant and general hygiene is below basic standards.Do not stay here ,I can assure you its not worth any of your hard earnt money ,dont spend it on a hotel that has complete disregard of your health and wellbeing.Five people went out healthy ,five people had diarrohea whilst there .
I feel it’s my duty to warn anyone considering Hammamet Gardens – AKA HAMMA'MERDE' GARDENS do not book this hotel and definitely avoid booking through Loveholidays. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this hotel does not deserve its advertised rating. The rooms were dirty, dated, and poorly maintained – mold on the walls, rust in the bathrooms, broken fixtures, and air conditioning that either didn’t work or barely cooled the room. Towels were stained, and housekeeping was inconsistent at best. The food situation was appalling. The so-called “all-inclusive” buffet was repetitive, bland, and often inedible. Plates and cutlery were dirty, food was undercooked or left sitting out for hours, and hygiene standards were nowhere near acceptable. Drinks were warm with no ice available, and the queues were endless. Forget about ordering a cocktail before 6.30pm! The pool and shared facilities were no better. The water was murky and dirty, loungers were broken or reserved with no system in place, and pool towels were either not available or only handed out after repeated requests. We witnessed both poo and wee in the pool and only after screaming at the General Manager, he then cleared all yhe people out the pool. Entertainment was poor, noisy, and felt more like an afterthought than something for guests to enjoy. The staff and management team were equally disappointing. Most were uninterested, unhelpful, and unmotivated. Any complaints were brushed aside. The GM team showed no accountability, and it was made very clear that guest satisfaction is not a priority here. To make matters worse, Loveholidays completely washed their hands of responsibility. Once you’ve paid, you’re on your own. They act only as a middleman, and when problems arise, they do not care and will not step in to help. This was not just a bad holiday – it was a stressful, frustrating, and upsetting experience. We moved rooms 4 times due to maintenance and cleanliness issues! What was supposed to be a relaxing break turned into a battle to get even the most basic standards of cleanliness, service, and respect. 🚨 Final Warning: Do not book Hammamet Gardens. It is not a 4-star resort by any stretch of the imagination. Do not book with Loveholidays. They take your money but won’t support you when things go wrong. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, choose another hotel and book with a more reliable provider. I would never return here and would never recommend it to anyone. What was supposed to be a relaxing holiday turned into a nightmare. Dirty rooms, unsafe pools, false advertising, appalling food, and staff who clearly don’t care. This hotel is not even close to a 4-star standard – in reality, it would struggle to qualify for a 1 star!
We came back a week ago and I left some time before writing this, but I felt it’s important to share our experience. Yes, the reviews are true – the hotel is outdated. They run out of plates and cups, and when you do get a cup, it’s tiny. If you go later to eat, you’re left with no clean table. Locals push in front without any order. The pool itself is ok, but the sunbeds are dirty and many are broken. Coffee? Honestly, terrible. Some of the food was lovelly but tired of queuing and waiting for the food to be cooked on the spot. As for entertainment, whoever says it’s good clearly hasn’t seen proper entertainment before. Apart from Saturday night, when an outside group comes in to perform, the rest of the week has no energy at all. The entertainers look like they’re forced to be there. Adam and Leo show some enthusiasm, but they seem interested only in the English guests. The music is too loud and majority of the songs are from 1980 . We played bingo once ( just over 10 pounds ticket that I thought is too expensive ). The hotel has a store . Prices are made if you speak or not arabic. My husband paied less than I paied for an item just because he speaks arabic. We stayed in room 229, and I must say the ladies who cleaned our room were amazing – friendly, hardworking, and always smiling. Ali, who cooked the small round bread every night, was also a highlight – really nice and always smiling ( No harissa 😀 ) Snacks, however, were the same three options every single day. It’s hard to eat the same things 13 days in a row. I also injured my arm in the pool due to a metal part left exposed after the bar came off. We raised it with reception, and while the manager was eventually helpful with the pool issue, the attitude was poor. The receptionist didn’t care at all, even when we told her about a kids’ machine that wasn’t working but still took money. The manager’s office, by the way, smelled bad ( cigaretts) and looked just like the rest of the hotel – neglected. Not once did he apologise . He offered to call a doctor but was no need (luckily, I only had a scratch, but I was more concerned a child could have been hurt the next day). The beach is within walking distance, but it’s dirty. The sea is clear, but full of jellyfish. We visited Tunisia back in 2012 in another resort, and the difference compared to then is huge – and not in a good way. Sadly, we will never return to Tunisia. So, if you’re looking for a true 4-star experience, stay away. If you’re fine with something that feels more like 2.5 stars, then this is the place.
Hotel was good, entertainment was a highlight. I proposed to my girlfriend and the hotel staff did everything to make it as special as possible. Leo from the entertainment was brilliant all week and very friendly
hotel was nice. food could have been better but the entertainment was incredible and the staff were very helpful throughout the week leo and adam were very friendly and made the trip more enjoyable
Entertainment team were amazing especially Adam and Leo they’re so kind and friendly encouraging you to participate in the activities.
it was very lovely but food wasnt too good. entertainment was lovely especially leo. helped us alot and was very helpful!!
Leo, Adam and miro were incredible, hotel was ok room was clean, food was not the best but the place couldn’t have done enough for us as we got engaged here.
The entertainment team were amazing especially Adam and Leo They're both so kind and caring and encourage participation in the activities they are doing. The bar lovely and food it's good
Hotel is so outdated the first room we were given was so bad but as it was 2am we had no choice but to accept it , the next day we was given a better room with a pool view the fridge wouldn’t open and everything seems like it’s about to break. House keepers were so lovely always had a smile on the face. The railings from all the floors are so low and unsafe especially for me as I have an autistic child so my eyes were always open. Animation team were absolutely lovely and amazing my children loved it so much. The pool was nice but it wasn’t regularly cleaned you can feel the sand in it. Restaurant food needs to improve nearly every day same items thank god I was there only 5 nights and the plates use to run out too as well as glasses. The one thing I loved about this hotel was there was no cats and for me that was the main thing I have a massive phobia of cats and not one day did I see any inside the hotel. Snack bar was good pizza crepes and donuts every day. You need to bring cash with you as the card machine don’t work and soon as you go into the hotel they want you to pay tax straight away and if you give pounds they don’t give change back. I tried to get my change back but night shift person comes so late. I’ve been to 4 star hotel and this hotel is very old fashioned it’s no where near 4 star the only reason we had a good time was because of the pool so kids were happy. And also first day no AC and one day there was no electricity for a few hours so lift wasn’t working and yes lift door shuts so quickly it’s scary getting on and off everyone had this issues
I’ll start with the positives, the pool was good, child friendly and not over crowded. The animation team did their best with the entertainment and was very friendly, however the evening performances weren’t that great and very repetitive. The issues we had were with the standard of the hotel, on the surface it’s a lovely looking hotel but it needs updating and managed better. When we arrived, it took over a hour to check in as there were only a night porter there who struggled with the process. He put us in the wrong room, we only had six beds when they were seven of us. So the first night my daughter slept on a make shift bed on the floor. Spent the first day trying to sort it out as they’d double booked our room and we had to wait until the other local guest had checked out. He also didn’t charge us enough tax, which he tried to rectify by banging on our door at half past midnight on the second night. The communal toilets were always in a disgusting state and the fixtures such as the showers weren’t great and the beds really uncomfortable. The sun loungers were hit and miss with whether they were broken or not and we had our clean towels left to us by hanging them in a plastic bag on the door whilst still wet. The dining experience was another issue, the food once you got to it was alright and the areas clean, but the whole set up was mayhem. Far too busy with the staff in no rush to ease it, they never had enough clean tables, cutlery or glasses and you spent too much time trying to hunt these down. There was also a clear favouritism towards the local guests compared to the foreign tourists. Speaking of the locals they were often quite rude, pushing past to get to the food and didn’t know what a queue was! It made the whole experience stressful, so much so we opted to eat out twice and we were only there a week. The A la carte restaurant was a joke, no wonder they don’t advertise it, just two options chicken or fish, which you can get from the buffet anyway. Even when wanting a drink from the bar they ran out of glasses, serving lager in wine glasses. Plus the options were extremely limited, with only one ‘cocktail’ included in all inclusive which was disgusting, plus some local drinks which were alright. Everything else was chargeable. I’d be wary of some of the more positive reviews to as they had the animation team go round and sit with you whilst you reviewed it, putting pressure on to make them positive. Finally, the trips and spa were good even if they do pounce on you as soon as you arrive to book things. The quad bike trip was brilliant and the best part of the holiday, the pirate ship was very busy but entertaining and the spa treatments were excellent. All in all we had a good holiday but this was despite the hotel not because of it and we wouldn’t return.
Hotel is great, animation team make the days fun 🥰 everyone is so friendly, Leo and Adam are especially great from the ani animation team.
entertainment is amazing, leo one of the staff of the entertainment is very respectful and funny!! such a beautiful place, food is amazing, same as the drinks. would recommend!
Wow some of these people must be blind it’s sh**hole and am still here if anyone wants come see me I will show you picture I have of this place staff so rude hygiene of this place not worth one star. Never comming back here am surprised they haven’t got rats in this place me and a another fella had to clean sun lounger area this morning cos there too lazy to it like I said am still here got picture.rooms get cleaned but not a great job food same every day cold some times .
This is not 4* hotel,it is very old, very dirty, the bathroom horrible, the restaurant very dirty, the staff not very friendly, sorry for leaving bad reviews but this is the true
We had fabulous time with everybody working in Hammamet resort. The staff made the stay unforgettable specially Adam, Leo, dj,aymen
Great hotel Adam’s very entertaining and helpful made us feel very welcome also got great drinks and banging food would recommend!
The first night I didn’t like it I found ants in the room, and it was not clean and I didn’t find the cover and I hope they reconsider the quality of the food and the cleanliness of the rooms. There are no modern technologies like vacuum cleaners because the cleaners get very tired with the regular vacuum cleaner my grandmother used in the past
Very nice people very sociable and friendly. Lots of entertainment provided by workers. Lovely pool and seating areas where you can keep watch of your young children. Many activities you can do daily and great night life.
Very friendly team especially Adam’s and aymen and Leo very sociable and friendly with everyone interacting with them encouraging people to do activities and entertaining everyone all day and night. Very great experience perfect for families.
It is definitely not European 4 stars hotel. The hotel is clean but old. The bathroom was terrible, the rest very old fashioned. Food was good, but everyday was the same problem: they don't have enough amount of plates and cutlery. Poor cocktails, problem with ice cubes aswell. Pool was nice and clean, but not enough numbers of laungers. I am disappointed.
The Animation entertainment team were all really nice and the pool and activities were decent however that's as good as it gets. Firstly room was awful WiFi didn't reach past the front door. Lots of cases of staff being rude to customers (especially women and europeans) had to wait 3 days just for an iron and the one they gave had the shortest plug ever and leaked. Food was meh at best. And this plce wouldn't even pass safety inspections as basically no railing on third and second floor as well as lift not having sensors so would just crush you if you didnt get in it in time. And it wasn't just us who had an experience like this. We spoke to almost ever brit there and almost all of them had some complaint whether it be waiting 3 days for a room, always being harassed by sales people to do trips despite being told no 3 times a day or finding poo in the swimming pool and them not cleaning for a good hour. Also don't trust all of these reviews, the staff would often take photos with family's and write a review on their behalf, as speaking to people who "wrote" these reviews I know it's not them who are writing them. So 2 out of 5 would recommend much better places near by.
We had an enjoyable getaway at this resort. We are a family of 5. Plenty of food. You get what you pay for. Service was friendly and polite. Cleaners always had a smile on their face and receptionist were accommodating and friendly! Staff tried their best. Tunisian people are very nice and friendly.
Hotel, service and cheffs were disaster. Restaurant service: - they would bring out few clean plates and glasses every 5minutes. Therfore every time the 5-6 clean plates had arrived it was a rat race to get one! They need to buy more plates to avoid this. - the vegetarian and non veg food are clearly contaminated. No room for stricked vegetarian or vegan in this hotel. - no gluten free choice and no place for any allergy as they will not cook or provide you with alternative due to food allergy, not even for a child. - a lady who served us ice cream was very racist and rude. - i heard her comment to another women saying "English people always cause trouble". I saw her slam the ice cream tubs to English or people from england! She even slamed me the ice cream tub and when I asked for spoon she said no they have non left. Not sure how she expected me to have the ice cream. However after asking another waiter for spoon he had grabbed me some from another side. - some waiters are kind. - most of the cheff are racist and dont know how to smile or chooses not too. La carte restaurant (complementary 1 off) : The food is taken from the usual restaurant with the dinning experience. - I had chicken which gave me food poisoning. -my friend and her daughter who is a vegan had found piece of fish in her plate and bone in her daughters plate. Hotel and rooms: - it is a very old building so things are old mouldy and rusty and not everything works in the room. Not as seen on photos. - no phone service in the room. - after being food poisoned I had vomited in the room twice at night. I had to sleep with it as there are no phones to call reception for help or clean. - in the morning, my friend had to run around to ask for a cleaner. Lady came after an hour to clean the room. - they STRICTLY provide 2 towels only! Even if you beg them for 1 more extra Towel they will not provide! PERIOD! Outside the hotel: -Pool area is very nice. - entertainers are kind. - LEO and CARAMELA are the best. They had made our trip smooth and forget the disaster indoors. We were very sad to say our goodbye to them. - beach is lovely, as seen on photos. The only good experience we had with our children was outside the hotel and the entertainers. Bless Leo and caramela xxx Ps 15 year old who is vegan and has allergy-GLUTEN FREE, had survived on chips and a bit of salad everyday for every meal through out the stay!!! Please note that the hotel is not a 3.5-4 * hotel. That rating is a scam.
The entertainment team is great and they are lovely Adam is the best one so friendly and welcoming the place wouldn’t be the same without him ….the food is good room too
Great holiday! Went with family and friends and couldn't recommend enough! Shout out to Leo and Adam for all the entertainment, legends!
Halfway through our holiday here and overall id say it's been quite pleasnat so far. The two guys from the animation team (Adam and Leo) go above and beyond for.the guests, making them feel very welcome. There is plenty for the kids to do during the day. The evening entertainment could be a little more thought out and the kids music at night is all in French, but nothing the kids can't dance to. The rooms are comfortable and the food is great!
Fantastic time at this hotel, room, food and pool all great. Entertainment team very attentive and always happy to help and join in with he fun, especially Leo, would definitely come back!!
Great Hotel and great atmosphere. The animation team where really great especially Leo! Always plenty of things to keep you entertained throughout the day. Great shows. Staff are all very welcoming and friendly Would defo come here again
I have been here for 3 days this place has a lot of potential but it’s falling short of the expectations of a 4 star rating. Never have I been served watered down vodka before! If you’re not sure just ask for a vodka shot it’s not even 50% of its original strength.. so I’ve been drinking pastiche as they can’t dilute it without it turning cloudy!! The food is okay it’s very similar each day if you are polite to the staff they are polite in return. The rooms are dated and quite dirty ours needed a lot of small repairs. Even at max the air conditioner hardly worked. Everything needed a good coat of paint and updating. We’ve had to unplug the TV as it’s the only electrical socket in the room. The entertainment team are okay for daytime activities but the evening shows are just terrible I can’t explain how bad they are. Please come to Tunisia it’s beautiful just don’t expect a 4 star experience at this hotel! More like a 2 1/2 I’m so disappointed.
The entertainment people are good (Adam and Leo) aqua gym is good in the pool, the hotel is very good for children close to the beach food is lovely and rooms are good
My wife and I travelled with a friend, Upon arrival Receptionist said " we thought you were a family " even though we had booked two Double rooms with pool view which we paid extra for, they did not have our rooms, so we were put in a suite, suite smelt musty. our friend was moved out the next day to another suite, we were then move on the day after to our booked rooms. Hotel details: door handles need replacing as some are hard to open, no bath or sink plugs in our friends room. Animotion team: the team Leo and Tito and the rest do their best, see Tito for a good printed T-shirt. however they just don't get that in the evenings they do not have to play the music at full volume, it bounces of the hotel walls, ridiculously loud. Pool bar: day barman Samir is great, evening barman Jedi is absolutley fantastic great guy really made our evenings bearable. Food: food in our opinion is poor, bread rolls are terrible, Not a fried egg in sight at breakfast, every dish at lunch a dinner has the same taste, pizza is the worst that I have ever had. To be honest I could go on and on about things wrong but just cannot be bothered to write about it all. Sadly we will never return to this hotel, definitely not a four star.
“The hotel is really good – nice environment, friendly staff, amazing food, and excellent, pleasant service. The evening programs are a lot of fun, and the animators for the kids are wonderful too. It’s definitely a place worth coming back to a second time
On the first night the room was dirty not cleaned and no AC, second day got moved into a different room which was still unclean. The hotel is nice but they do need to work on there service which was very slow, also inside the hotel itself the workers are very creepy, approaching me and my friends all the time, it was literally nearly every person there, even to the point where there trying to follow people back to the rooms. They had a good bar service,
I've just been on a trip I booked with Raja the Love holidays rep to Tunis was fantastic great value guide was great food was fantastic if you stay at tye hammamet garden book this trip you won't be disappointed
Lovely hotel and very friendly staff Have entertainment every night have a lot for little ones. Many bars and big selection of food.
Hamamet garden hotel and spa resort. This hotel is nice and has some lovely features in reception. The food is really good and has something for everyone. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the entertainment team are excellent and make being in or by the pool fun for all. Great music too.
The entertainment was good, and was convenient having drinks on tap, and buffet for all meals. The decor was very old fashioned, and the rooms were not up to standard. We booked 3 rooms and the AC in all of them had some sort of issue, in 35 degrees boiling weather. We had to change rooms a couple of times because of this, and our new rooms came with their own issues, like the handles not working, and keycards constantly having issues. The swimming pool was good, the spa was okay, and the animation team were very friendly, welcoming, and displayed good hospitality. I wouldn’t say this is a 4 star hotel, I think it just about manages to be 3 star. There were activities such as football, water polo, and darts, but these were all short-timed sessions, which were not always available. The sports equipment and facilities weren’t too great, Astro turf peeling off, table tennis rackets damaged, pool table also had a lot of wear and tear.
The rooms were amazing and very clean and comfortable. Entertainment was always the best made the hotel lively making sure all guest were included. I had an amzing experience and felt very loved and included by the staff Fafa. Food was very nice hygiene was amazing and the hotel was very convienient as it was close by to many shops, markets and excursions.
This was my 7th visit in 6 years and by far the worst. Whilst i will congratulate the efforts that have been made since last year. the upgrades in some areas in the rooms, new carpet on central areas, new look reception and refurbishment of lounge furniture. The hotel still has a way the go. the fact we were in the middle of a beach handball tournament was not a major problem as this was going to help the hotel recover from Covid and the years after. The waiting and bar staff were always attentive, (Wassim ,Alli & Mohammed), The room staff did an excellent job under the pressures of having a full hotel. The animation team were by far the worst Tito and others were almost writing tripadvisor reviews on behave of guests so beware, all they could do face to face was criticize their agency and the hotel, this should never be conveyed to the guests, get rid before they do any more damage, they have no personality or talent or loyalty. I have over 40 years experience in hospitality and the new Hotel Director has no idea, and when he made a really bad decision he left it to the receptionist to sort, moving Guests to a la carte restaurant with cold food, not once in 2 weeks he did not speak to a guest, he insisted that staff got guests to write reviews on trip advisor, he never tasted the quality of the food most of the time all he did was sit at the cocktail bar smoking on his phone and barking orders at the staff , it was like a dictatorship. The one member of staff that deserves a very special mention the chef that stood at the barbecue every night and cooked the best food available every night. The hotel owner everyday spoke to me, checked nearly every dish available at all meals, the job the Hotel Director failed to do.
Nice relaxing holiday entertainment team nice and friendly Tito good dancer always getting everyone involved 😊 💕💕
Basically Hammamet gardens hotel and spa is not as advertised. Stayed for 10 days June 2025, family holiday through a well known agent. Rooms are desperately outdated and antiquated, broken taps and shower units, damaged and broken vanity tops, ripped and stained towels, old fridges what you can't open, air conditioning not working rooms not cleaned properly and towels replaced damp or wet if your lucky enough to get them at all. There are 2 pools the main one is good the other has 2 slide which are basically un usable and dangerous. Food is acceptable but not upto 4 star standards. Waiting staff present in dirty and worn out attire. Entertainment staff are way to over powering and harassing, also the Entertainment is of poor quality. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the beach, not on the beach ass advertised. There is a bar there of a sorts but it offers very little. We paid for full board. Wine and beer etc is served in paper cups or small sipping glasses. Drinking water is rationed to one bottle per room if you want more they charge you, also the water is warm and ice seems to be a luxury. The hotel is 10 minutes by car to the new madina and fifteen to 20 mins by car to the old madina. I was lucky enough to have a hire car otherwise it would be a taxi ride anywhere to which they charge per person. There is nothing on the street in front of the hotel other than a few local bars and a couple of shops, anything else is a car ride away. In all we were very disappointed with the hotel and it's location, in my opinion it should be downgraded to a 2 or 3☆at very best, very very poor asstablishment all round.
Rashend water on full board. Tables not set , have to do yourselves. Bathroom a total mess. Shower not fixed to the wall and spraying water everywhere. Taps broken. Towel rails falling apart. Towels given are damp, ripped and stained. Cockroches dead on floor and not picked up by staff. Shampoo bottle refilled with water. Dirty. Entertainment staff too much in face.
We had an incredible time at Hammamet Garden. We’ve stayed here before, and it never disappoints! The atmosphere was fantastic — so welcoming and relaxing. It's truly a heaven for children with lots of activities and spaces designed for them to have fun. The quality of the food was top-notch, with a great variety and fresh ingredients. We loved the two pools, perfect for both adults and kids to enjoy. Plus, the beach is just a short walk away, making it super convenient. Highly recommend this place for families looking for a memorable getaway!
Disgusting. They took my money for a 7 days stay but when I arrived they were closed. I was left stranded in hammamet no help from this business. DO NOT RISK STAYING HERE. Luckily I'm well travelled and cab look after myself as a solo traveller but if this was a family with young children expecting an all inclusive hotel and not having back up funds then I dread to think how they would survive. Booking was confirmed and money taken out of my bank 5 days b4 I turned up so they had plenty of time to let me know. ZERO STARS
We came away cor my sons 12th birthday. When we arrived the reception was not welcoming to me and my family including 3 young children. We were told that they had no record of our booking. We shown them our printed conformation stating were told they are closed half way during the time we booked so we can not stay. This conversation went on for 1 and a half hours after a night flight we was upset and tired. We had to contact love holidays who told us rhe hotel had not mentioned they were closing on the 1st of March . Love holidays are still looking for another hotel for us to relocate to. They tried to move us to bed and breakfast we were unable to accept that because we had peepaid for all incluse hotel. Therefore didnt bring exta cash for addition food. We have not been able to enjoy our holiday due to constant emails and phone calls trying to correct the mistakes which was they caused. Not been able to go anywhere due to not knowing when we are to relocate having to be available to speak to advisers. To make things even worse they are doing work in the hotel during the day using hammers and drills so we can't relax in peace. This noise is really disturbing my son due to his autism and not being able to tolerate loud noise. The tv doesn't work in the room no remote. The food is cold and no variety to choose from. Over all is a waste of my time off work, waste of money and an upsetting experience for my children.
Pleasant experience , staff are friendly and are ready to help at any point especially behind Samir reception and Ali behind the bar - also the director Mohamed Nabouli is always happy to help and the excursion guy is the man to speak to for reasonable rates , I recommend the quad bikes and Sahara experiences - the cleaning staff are also very nice and achieve high standards of cleanness good food also
I came here on a solo trip Sunday, 2nd - Sunday, 9th February 2025, and had a good time. At first, I was nervous being my first solo trip, but the staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially a guy named Joe! Who was very funny and good at ping pong. The room was cleaned daily, the bar staff were friendly and overall the resort had a warm atmosphere
Pool closed, staff gave conflicting information on reopening. Food was tasteless. Run down facilities. Not a 4 star hotel
Not up to our expectations
Bad service and incompetent staff. Some of the dining staff were very unprofessional. We got no intro at all and we couldn’t even get towels at the pool.
Hôtel très salle personnel désagréable limite très méchant très mauvais accueil
Staff were rude and unhelpful. Food was poor quality. All inclusive drinks were very limited.
